Hello everyone,

This summer I left NYC to travel throughout some parts of Europe. I visited Monte Carlo, Istanbul, Venice, Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Pompei, Barcelona, Florence, Athens, and Kusadasi. Below I added some pictures of my adventures which included fine eating, riding on a gondola, sipping on some great drinks, and site seeing.

Goodbyes

Just before the winter break, it was time to gather together and say our goodbyes....This would be the last time I saw my friends in 2011 as most of them were going back home to Europe. But, here's the thing...we decided not to be sad and cry but instead enjoy our time in NYC.

The Holidays Came Late

Sequin Manikins at the Bloomingdale's Store on 59th Street aka my favorite store in the whole wide world. You will find only the best clothes, handbags, shoes, and jewelry at this over sized Bloomingdale's. Also, make sure to stop by at Magnolia Bakery to enjoy some yummy treats.

Michael Kors display windows are taking over New York City fashion with it's sequin and stud items.

Maybe my house can be wrapped like this Cartier building was for the holidays? hahah

My Obsession with NYC

I could go on for days talking about my daily life in New York City and all of the excitement it has brought into my life. It's the little things that make this city so wonderful such as taking pictures of everything that I encounter. I haven't had a lot of time to blog or spend time on here because this city really does keep you busy. But, over the past two months, my phone has stored a lot of what I experienced here in the city; everything from fine dining, to amazing clubs, to shopping, to browsing the city piece by piece. It's time to spill the news of what it's all about!!

My friend and I enjoyed Frozen Hot Chocolate desserts at Serendipity 3 which is one of the best dessert places in the world. Let's just say, I love chocolate and I couldn't finish it because I would of probably exploded.

Food, food, food? Anyone hungry? Cupcakes from Billy's Bakery and salad from Le Grainne Cafe.

A few local places to check out which I would recommend would be 1Oak, Tenjune, Griffin, Elmo's, & the Rooftop at Gansevoort.

Another Day, Another Shoe

Looking for shoes? Look no further. Stop drop and roll in the foot of New York City shopping. The question is where do you start, well I would ask you what is your style? Are you looking for more of a higher end item or are you a hipster?

Well Soho is by far my favorite place for shoes because you can find shoes priced anywhere from $5 to $2,000 it just depends where you look. There is so many little shops such as Mystic Boutique and Necessary Clothing which carry inspired looks off the runway but the shoes are very affordable. Also, you will find Bloomingdale's, Chanel, and Prada which have the top shoes. Personally, I love the Bloomingdale's in Soho because it is in the heart of fashion and they always have something fun. Oh and I love when they have sales there because you will always find a great deal :)

If you are more of the pricey girl with shoes, you should look on Fifth Avenue. They always have in season styles on Louboutins, Jimmy Choos, and Lanvins.

Recently I actually found these beauties (Rebecca Taylor boots) at Daffy's which has a location in Soho. They were originally $800 but they were on sale for $100. Now tell me that isn't the greatest deal ever!

I'm Back to Attack Blogspot

Slack? A word with lots of lack. Ha, you can call me a slacker especially when it comes to blogspot. I have fed my interweb addiction to twitter lately. But, I'm back to blogspot for good.

Besides twitter keeping me busy, NYC has been taking over my life. I am always doing something, whether it's fine dining, shopping, working, or looking for the next big intern spot. Oh and I am trying to do everything before I go back to school in February at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

My friends and I enjoy going to Elmo's Lounge & Restaurant. It is located a few blocks away from FIT on Seventh Avenue in New York City. The food is so yummy it melts in your mouth. Also, the atmosphere is very hip and lively. It's a perfect definition of NYC itself.

From Fashion to Food

Everyone needs a little iPhone swag added to their day, why not get your hands on a "Gold, Shiny, Juicy" iPhone case! The Juicy Couture store on Fifth Avenue always has something in stock that can bring some shine into your day.

Walking along Fifth Avenue, I ran into this interesting Number 9 symbol. There are always things that catch your eye in New York and make you want to stop....and take PICTURES! I'm still trying to figure out what this 9 means? Any ideas?!

The man beyond it all is remembered at the Apple Store in Soho on Prince Street. Many Apple lovers left flowers, candles, and even apples for Steve Jobs.

RIP Steve Jobs

Instead of spending all my loose change on bags and shoes, it has all been going towards fine dining. My friend Simge and I found this adorable Italian restaurant in Soho called Piccola Cucina. We enjoyed some Italian wine, Calamari, and the best Eggplant Parmesan in the world. I'm telling you....this eggplant was to die for, it melts in your mouth!

What do girls do best? Shop! After stopping by a few shops down in Soho, we took the subway to Union Square to see what Nordstorm's Rack had in store for us.

My favorite thing to do, as you can tell is take more than enough pictures with my iPhone.

Look at the models at Forever 21 :) My friends and I spent a day venturing throughout New York. First, I took them to the Rockefeller Center and then we ran in the rainy weather, shopping on Fifth Avenue and in Soho.

The day that my friends were in town, we heard a noise coming from Wooster Street in Soho. We walked over and there was a Betsey Johnson bus cruising down the street playing "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." Also, in the bus was Betsey Johnson herself.

Ahh I LOVE NYC!

I might as well dedicate my blog to New York City. It's taking over my life and in all the good ways. Words cannot explain all the things that make me enjoy my time here, but pictures can. What I have learned is that all you need is good friends, a good pair of shoes, and a glass of fine wine. Cheers to that!

It's New York Fashion Week

I'm back, yes I have found time in my oh so busy schedule to blog on here! I was suffering from blogspot withdrawal. Fashion Week is happening in New York City right now as we speak. My friend and I managed to head out to Lincoln Center and visit.

It was not only a beautiful day outside, but we were in the heart of where all the trends are being set for Spring 2012. We took some pictures in front of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and at Teen Vogue Hautespot. The shop at Hautespot was filled with a lot exciting activities such as a photo station, makeovers, and entering giveaways! Make sure to stop by tomorrow if you haven't already.

Watch Your Step in NYC

New York City is the place I call home. I have been living here for about two weeks now, and I adore it. Yes, it's beautiful, crazy, and this city never sleeps; but not everything is all glitz and glamour. My weekday's consist of hard work and a good pair of shoes which get me through the day. When I am not running around working and running errands, I find time to stop by in Soho. I bought this Vogue shirt in a small boutique called Brandy Melville. They have a great selection of cropped tee's, shorts, and other fun items. If you're ever in the area, make sure to stop by.

On the flip side, when I am not shopping, working, or enjoying a bite with my friends; I can be found taking photos near my apartment. I love dressing up in my clothing and posing for the camera; well in this case the iphone. Oh and my photos are edited with instagram; only the most addicting application ever! Blacked Out Black Out

She dreams, but she can only see what is written in front of her. The words she sees are the words of others. But who is right to tell her that what she can see is only half true? In these photos, I lounged on a retro couch in a cottage by the sea; browsing through the IWC Watch magazine. I must say the lookbook of watches is quite incredible. The pieces have a style unlike any other and a presence that catch anyone's eye.

The outfit of choice was a blacked out black out, in order words; a BCBG black short sleeve top, an H&M black long skirt, and a pair of Dolce Vita black gladiator sandals.

Hanging by the pool is so relaxing....a pair of nice shades are always by my side. Yes, these white oval sized Juicy Couture shades are all I need, and almost forgot to mention the chic Victoria's Secret black bikini. Every girl needs a bikini especially a black one. It's perfect for those days that you just need to relax on.

It's true, New York City is going to be the place I call home. In just a few days, I will be settling in this beautiful city. Currently, I am doing small photo shoots with Misha Vaksman, but when I am not posing; I am visiting and getting to know NYC. She's a gypsy hunter unlike any other...even with the black and white reflection you will never be able to tell who she truly is because remember she is the gypsy hunter. This mini photo shoot was enjoyed with close friends and family at the beach. Hot Pink City Summer

Back in the city...this time the weather is hotter than normal. The day started by catching a train to Philly, and heading to go see the Roots. A little stop was made here next to the river, where I posed for Misha Vaksman. I've got my hot pink tank top from La Senza, which I adore because it really screams summer. You can only see a glimpse of my pick-pocketed shorts by Paper, Demin, & Cloth. And, to finish the look...I chose a pair of Dolce Vita gladiator sandals and my Juicy Couture shades. Oh how I love this summer weather.

While my boyfriend was away in Vegas, his friends and I got together and did a mini photo shoot in his backyard. We brought out the iPad, a hookah, and a camera. The day was spent lounging on some of the comfiest love seats that I've ever sat on. My outfit of choice was a top by Numph aka my favorite designer, some baggy black pants by Zara, and those Chanel Camellia sandals that I'm still obsessed with. I spent today just going through my closest and looking at what I haven't worn in awhile. Well you can say, I was organizing my closest. I found a pair of J.Jill wide leg, trouser pants which have been sitting and wrinkling with time. As I was doing this, a thought came to me and said to look for something that would go with my pants. Just in time, I found my Numph blouse, a pair of Zara wedges, and a Gucci vintage handbag.

Black & White & Domo Kun
