Dass auch in diesem Jahr ein neues Assasin’s Creed kommt, ist seit Ende letzten Jahres bekannt, als <strong>Ubisoft</strong> das Finale der Desmond-Serie für dieses Jahr ankündigte. Diesmal wird allerdings nicht mehr Ezio Auditore da Firence im Mittelpunkt stehen, sondern ein völlig neuer Charakter. Ezios Geschichte wurde mit <strong>Assasin’s Creed: Revelations</strong> und dem dazugehörigen Animationsfilm <strong>Assasin’s Creed: Embers</strong> letztes Jahr beendet.<br /> In einem Gespräch mit MCV spricht Ubisofts Geschäftsführer <em>Yves Guillemot</em> über die Zukunft der Serie und <strong>Assasin’s Creed 3</strong>.<br /> <blockquote>Assasin’s Creed ist ein unglaubliches Franchise und es gibt eine große Erwartungshaltung, welche noch weiter wachsen wird. Wir sind sehr erfreut über den bisherigen Erfolg: In den USA war Assasin’s Creed: Revelations das ganze Jahr über in den Top Ten, was definitiv zeigt, dass eine Nachfrage da ist.[...] Wir glauben, dass regelmäßige Fortsetzungen und die Ausdehnung auf andere Plattformen, diese Nachfrage weiterhin decken wir und gleichzeitig auch neue Fans an Bord holen wird.[...] Darüber hinaus sind wir davon überzeugt, dass die nächste Fortsetzung die bislang größte werden wird.</blockquote>Bei Ubisoft sähe man keine Anzeichen, dass sich langsam eine Abnutzung der Reihe vollzieht. Darüberhinaus hat Ubisoft große Pläne für 2012. In Großbritannien war Ubisoft der zweiterfolgreichste Publisher und lieferte mit <strong>Just Dance 3</strong> das zweitmeistverkaufte Spiel in den USA ab. In diesem Jahr möchte Ubisoft noch mehr erreichen. Ein Release-Datum und der offizielle Name des Spiel fehlen bisher noch.<br /> Was meint ihr?
