Rock ’n’ Roll

2012-07-30T13:33:00.002-07:00

Finally, this is my second daily outfit which I wore at work. Somehow the photos are blurry. Sorry for that! I guess I need to fix my camera again. I found this fake leather jacket a few days ago at H&M also available in blue and red. I just went for the classic black. And by the way: Every piece I am wearing here is from H&M :D

Nude et Black

2012-07-12T12:24:00.000-07:00

Wow a long time since my last post.... Well, but there is a reason for that =) Since yesterday I am officially a working girl doing a fashion internship. So I thought it might be a nice idea to post my daily outfits I will wear at work. Here we go with my first-day outfit =)

Blazer & Top: H&M

Jeggings and Purse: Vero Moda

Ankle Boots: Schukay

Necklace: Mum =D

Selfmade Toga dress

2012-06-09T05:48:00.000-07:00

A few weeks ago my friend invited me to a Toga Party, which is a costume party with a Roman or Greek theme. Obviously I needed something cool to wear. I used some of my curtains to sew my dress. A bedsheet was no option for me at all since the fabric looks super ordinary. At the end my dress ended up looking a little bit like a wedding dress :D

American Apparel

2012-05-10T14:57:00.000-07:00

A few days ago I bought these amazing American Apperal Shorts. I´ve always been very sceptical paying a lot of money for basics. But since I entered this store I couldn´t even decide what to buy first. Every single basic they sell looks so fashionable and special but at the same time old school and easy. The perfect way to look cool but never overdressed.

Decorative Storage

2012-04-23T15:09:00.000-07:00

A few weeks ago I did my big spring cleaning and besides that I was looking for a decorative solution for all my jewelry. Surprisingly it took forever to find a good solution not only to storage all my jewelry but also to use them as decoration. I was actually looking for a 2 in 1 solution. Using plates and vases I think I did a pretty good job to store my bracelets and earrings but I also used some conventional storage places like my jewelry box or the chop for my necklaces from the 19th century ( it´s a heirloom). All in all my decoration is held rosé and romantic. I think I can be pretty proud of myself :D

Neon

2012-04-09T10:43:00.000-07:00

I was looking for a neon yellow nail polish everywhere. Finally found one from Nail Art at Douglas. The brush is very thin and perfect if you want to use it for a nail design on top of your nail polish. For my use the brush was too thin and that´s why I just used another brush to paint my nails. The color is just perfect. An eyecatcher for sure...

Amazing view from the bottom of the Statue of Liberty

enjoying the view, the weather and life....

I am not in New York anymore but there are still so many pictures I want to share. These are some photos we took at the Statue of Liberty. At that day I was so thankful that I got my UGG boots the day before. Super comfortable and keeping me warm they are still my favorite pair.

Faux fur

2012-01-26T13:40:00.000-08:00

Scarf & Top: H&M, Ring: Accessorize

Hello you guys, wow thank you guys for all your lovely comments on my last post. =)

So in this post I want to share with you my new favorite item in my closet. My new faux fur scarf, which I found at H&M. I actually saw this scarf in an H&M store in San Diego but that was last summer and obviously too early to buy it. This winter faux fur is such "a must have" and I´m glad I went for it. Thanks to H&M for this good deal.

Ps. Unfortunately these photos don´t have a good quality. Since my camera broke in New York I will have to take my photos with my Mac Book until I find a new nice camera. If you know any good deals for a reflex camera please feel free to tell me!

Have a good night!

Xoxo, The Spring Roll ;-)

Plane trip

Bag: Long Champ, Jacket: Vintage, Longsleeve: Abercrombie

Hello guys, at this point I want to thank you everybody for reading my blog and thank you guys for every single comment. =)

So since the weather here in Hamburg is very bad as always and to change my mood I took my time to look through some pictures we made in sunny San Diego during a plane trip. This was an amazing experience ad if I get the chance I would definitely do it again. Just want to share with you some moments and actually there is nothing else to say. Sometimes pictures speak countless words...

Chloé

2012-01-17T09:39:00.000-08:00

Hey you guys, first I want to remind everyone that the Berlin Fashion Week is going on: From January 17th until January 22nd. So all eyes on Berlin!! Everytime very interesting to see new and upcoming Fashion Designers presenting cool Street Style.

So last saturday I had a good time with my friend and besides that she helped my finding the perfect perfume. Knowing me she was pointing out that this one would be perfect. I have to say: She is a pro when it come to perfumes! Even though I bought My Glow by J.Lo this summer I am more excited about this one. This perfume is way more feminin, glamorous and wearable for every occasion, day or night time without being boring or too overpowering. You need to check out this parfum and also this commercial. This commercial just represents the perfume perfectly. Just fell in Love with Chloé. Thank you S. ;-)

Black and White

2012-01-07T07:44:00.000-08:00

Hey my dear followers. Hope you have an amazing weekend with lots of fun and a great weather. If you are from San Diego you sure will have the best weather right now. So since 2 weeks I am back home in rainy Hamburg. It´s not that I don´t love my home city. It´s just the weather, which holds everybody back enjoying themselves. So on this rainy day I went through some pictures we took in San Diego and New York and found this one of me wearing my favorite blazer. Since I saw the white blazer with the black collar in Whitney Eves first collection I was looking for something like that everywhere. One year and 1000 shops later I found one in a little shop in San Diego. Not exactly the same style but in my opinion even better. For everybody who has also fallen in love with this kind of blazer, you will find a very cute version at H&M. And it is on sale right now, so hurry folks =)

New York: Diane von Fürstenberg

2012-01-01T08:33:00.000-08:00

Hello you guys, here I am again. I know, it has been forever since I wrote my last post. The last months were super busy. But in the last weeks I was able to experienced so many things. I definitely had an information overload and needed some time to look back on all those things I saw. From August until December I was in San Diego. One week before christmas I had the amazing opportunity to have a one week vacation in New York with my friend from Denmark. This trip was one of those things I was really waiting for a long time. So finally I could go to those places I always wanted to got to. Of course the showroom and studio of Diane von Fürstenberg was one stop I needed to go to. Since I watched the serie "The City" with Whitney Port I was beguiled to visit the Diane von Fürstenberg Studio Headquarter in New York. Not only because of the amazing architecture, but also because I can see myself working in the Fashion Marketing. So there I was. Standing in front of this building seeing myself working inside. Very close to the life I would like to live. Right now only as a random visitor, but someday I will be back in New York and not only for vacation....

New Jacket

2011-11-07T22:15:00.000-08:00

Wow even here in San Diego the winter has arrived. But luckily on saturday the weather was super nice. Not too cold so it was the perfect time to wear my new jacket inspired by the ones I posted just a few days ago.

It was also the perfect day to celebrate my friends birthday in the cheesecake factory. OMG the cakes are super delicious but also super heavy.

We still have the cakes in the fridge because we couldn´t finish them. If you have the chance go there please go XD. They have a lot of other food besides cakes. Just go to: Cheesecake Factory and check it out.

Nasty Coats

2011-10-31T00:09:00.000-07:00

Happy monday to you all. Even though the weather here in San Diego is still very good ( in comparison to the rest of the world) I was very busy finding a new winter jacket and a new "between-season jacket". I did some research and I finally found a very cool website which has so many cool stuff: Shopnasty Not only the outdoor jackets are so adorable also every other piece I looked on was so cool. The prices are ok. It is not cheap but it is also not that expensive. The only thing that bothers me is that they only have an online shop and I actually prefer to try things on first before buying them. Anyways it is my favorite shop in the internet so far and I want to share with you my favorite "between-season jackets". Love the style and faux fur is obviously the trend of this season ( just take a look at H&M and Forever 21). So I was going to order one of those jackets online, but just today when I went shopping with my girls and I found a very cute jacket which I will show you anytime soon. (means next post). Can´t wait to show you ;-) xoxo the springroll <3

The Spring Roll in Santa Monica

2011-10-16T23:35:00.000-07:00

Hello there, how is everybody? Wow this is the very first time experiencing nice weather in october. =)

Here are some photos we took in Santa Monica. OMG on that day it was so hot. But I really don`t want to complain. I know everybody in Germany would love to have this kind of weather we have here.

Every single piece I was wearing on this day I just bought here in San Diego. Since I figured out that the quality of the clothes of "Forever 21" is not very good anymore (my college jacket I bought was ruined after the first wash) I have a new favorite brand, actually I have several new favorite brands, like Ralph Lauren and Hollister. But I guess the main reason for that are the very fair prices. Really enjoy shopping here....

T-Shirt and Bag : Ralph Lauren

Jacket: Tommy Hilfiger

Shorts: H & M

Going Hollywood

2011-10-02T10:44:00.000-07:00

What´s up people? Hope everybody is doing good. Unfortunately I still have a huge headache because of last night (we went out to Downtown San Diego) I have to check the photos but I am pretty sure I will post some here, too. So on friday we went to L.A and my aim was a picture with the THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN. Everything else actually didn´t matter to me. And taking the photos was so much fun. The Walk of Fame was ok. So many people I ´ve never heard of before have a star. Pretty confusing. Resume: L.A was pretty cool but for now I have to say San Diego is nicer. Sorry L.A :P

White Nail Polish

2011-09-23T10:15:00.000-07:00

Hello you guys. And again it took me such a long time to write another post. And I really hope I still a few readers. ^^ The last weeks and days I took so many pictures to catch all the moments I experience here. But somehow I couldn´t find the time to post them. There is always something going on. But this is how it´s supposed to be, right? So a few weeks ago I saw my friend wearing this nail polish and since then I was looking for one myself. I decided to buy one from "Essie". Standing in Target holding this little bottle in my hand I wasn´t sure if it wil look good on my nails but right now this is like my favorit nailpolish. Thoughts? Hot or not? =D

A little bit of Flower Power

2011-08-28T04:54:00.000-07:00

Hey guys, what a great day we had yesterday. We went to La Jolla Beach here in San Diego. We had such a nice view. It was super hot so good thing I did wear my shorts. Right now I´m so into flower print. Even my shoes do have a flower print. Just love it. Thoughts?

Outlet Store Las Americas

2011-08-26T17:10:00.000-07:00

@ closet

The Disney Store, me being a child again. I just noticed that most of the pictures I took were in in the Disney Store.

sweet memories...

all our bags.

Guess highheels. so in love with them

aaaand the purse as a little present for my mum.

For a very long time I was looking for another college jacket. I already have my golden one but yesterday I finally found one at Forever 21

Hey guys, wow it´s been almost 3 weeks being here in San Diego. I really try to do daily posts. I still have so many photos of the last days. But somehow I didn´t find the time putting them online. Right now it is super hot. Literally: I am dying.

We just came home from our little bus tour across San Diego. And again we took so many pictures which I will show you soon. So next week university starts and I´m planning to take some Marketing and PR classes. Hopefully I will also get into a Design class as well.

So the photos you see right here are some snapshots of us being at the Outlet Mall Las Americas. This mall is just next to the border of Mexiko. We spend almost 7 hours there. We went to Nike, Forever 21, Victoria´s Secret and several other shops. You just see a part of the things I bought yesterday. The college jacket and the heels are my favorites! After all my favorite shop was the Disney Store. =) In fact I didn´t buy anything there but still it was so much fun....
