Recipe for Chicken Salad Wraps!

Found this on Facebook and thought I'd share with your guy! :) Sounds yummy doesn't it?

AWARD WINNING SALAD WRAPS -

Chicken Apple Wraps

Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped cooked chicken breast
3 tablespoons chopped Fuji apple
2 tablespoons chopped black or red grapes
2 tablespoons Crunchy Peanut Butter
1 tablespoon lite mayonnaise (or greek yogurt)
2 teaspoons honey
Iceberg lettuce

Preparation
Chop chicken meat and fruit, mix in bowl. Mix in peanut butter, mayonnaise and honey.

Spoon into open lettuce leaf, roll and serve

I'm telling you I so, so, SO want to go back! We had so much fun. I've been checking their webcams almost every day just to see what's going on. Check this one out!!

Guess they're catching a lot of rain too, but here's the parking lot to show you the park really isn't hurting.,

Anyway, Dave and I stayed at the cottage the first day watching the seagulls, red winged black birds & then again there was Mr & Mrs. Bumble too. Yes, we had bumble bees that came right up to our door, and said, "Welcome"!

OLD FRIENDS MEET AGAIN!

This young lady here I've known for about 40 yrs., and we lost touch about 25 yrs. ago. One day I was at a wake, my cousin's husband had past away, and at the funeral home a gentleman come up to me, and said, "Aunt Dolly? It's P.J.!", and I knew him immediately. I hadn't seem him since he was about 10 yrs. old. and here he was a grown man now. We talked, and I asked how his mother was doing, and well as you see this was our reunion! After all the blubbering was over we talked for hours and hours, and we're both so happy we have found each other again as you can see.

My friend Debbie, my cousin Kim (who sort of brought us back together), and myself!

Everything happens for a reason!

My friend Debbie recently had back surgery, and is doing wonderful in such a short time, and needless to say my back surgery was in 2006, and I just keep getting worse. I'm going to start seeing her doctor hopefully next month, and I hope he can do for me the miracle he performed on my dearest friend. I'll keep you posted. Hope you all enjoyed my little story.

Hi Everyone!

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. I just wanted to let you know that because of my move if you have my old buttons you can trade them for the new ones (or the ones on my blog). They're all updated (HERE & THERE). Any that you have that are not let me know, and I'll fix them. I think I got them all though!

This is a baby blanket I crocheted for my grandson when he was born!

This was a pillow and blanket I crocheted during the 9-11 crisis. I was so confused as what to do this is the only thing that made me feel better!

This is a lap blanket I crocheted for my mother, and when she passed I use it now for myself.

Thought I'd share my goodies with you. You like? It's very soothing, and calms the soul. I'm seriously considering starting another one just because! So, what are your plans when you retire.

Answer: I never really made plans yet. I do know that I still would like to do more traveling, and I never want to move again. I love my home, and who I share it with! This Cinderella is going to live happily ever after!

My friend just had surgery last week - a six hour back surgery! She's doing great!

Happy Wordless Wednesday is a great day to post a picture that “speaks” for itself, no words needed! I blog-hop all day long looking at great pics & blogs, finding new friends! How about you? I sign up at my buddies below & then from then on WHO KNOWS!

My friend that I've know for 39 yrs. now (that's the one I just found through her son). We lost touch for about 23 yrs., and we found each other through her son and my cousin. What a reunion that was! WHEW! She had back surgery like I had, and we went to the hospital to visit and cheer her up. She's doing very well. I'm so happy for her! She had a six hr. surgery, and they had her up and moving the same day! SHEESH!

This is my youngest grandchild and the baby of the Grandkids!
Isn't he just to adorable!!!

So, anyway guess what Nonny did this time. Well, it's his birthday this March, and I'm helping for the party with some goodies from Birthday Express. You should see what they sent me. Well, in fact I'll show you. Mr. Cranky Pants (he's been called that since he started crawlin'), is yes I confess another favorite of mine. He's so petite and so light you can pick him up with one hand. Well, he likes Carz and he loves Buzz Lightyear! This was a picture outside our cabin at Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio. Yes, I'm already thinking about vacation. This cold weather sucks and I can't get my hands warm.

And this is our Batavia Riverwalk that's only about 8 blocks away from me... well then you have to walk up about six blocks to get here, but you walk along the River. Ahhhh

I NEED PRAYERS PLEASE

WE are on our way to the hospital now for a dear friend of my husband's and mine. He had an operation on his larynx. It was Cancer. While they were in there they found out the Cancer had spread to his lungs, so they operated last Friday. He is still not awake. PLEASE my friends all of you PLEASE pray for this young man. He's only 56 yrs. old, and a fellow musician. He also has a son, and three brothers. We're on our way now to meet them all. Phil grew up with my Dave so there's many years there. PRAY MY FRIENDS THAT HE MAKES IT SOME HOW... PRAY HARD!

UPDATE: We just came home from the hospital and it does not look good. His oxygen level is in his body is starting to diminish. He has his son & daughter-in-law there, brother and x-wife (they were still friends). Phil just turned a grandpa a few months ago, and was so proud. His step-brother also died of Cancer (another fellow musician) about 17 yrs. ago. He didn't even know he had it until his step-brother Roger who is a doctor told him to check that mole out.
