Restoration and Healing

Many years ago I fell from a tree as a child and injured my backbone but, in the past three years the injury incapacitated my ability to walk coupled with an excruciating pain. However, I was carried into the last Night of Glory, during ministration, Pastor prayed for me and pulled me up from where I was lying helplessly and I stood up and received my healing. Since then, I have been walking on my feet. Glory to God.

Fibroid instantly dissolved and discharged during the last Night of Glory. I was booked for a fibroid surgery days after the last Night of Glory but someone invited me to the programme. Five years ago, I was unjustly rusticated and my certificate withheld by one of the tertiary institutions in the country. After a prayer session in one of the Night of Glory services when Pastor asked us to pray, my father called me that the school called him and apologized for judging the case wrongly that I have been acquitted. Few days later, they called my father again and told him that the school management has decided to pay me a compensation of #30m, and when my result was collated, I graduated with a first class in Mass communication.

Job and Financial Breakthrough

Coming from Calabar, I had lost my well paying job, lost my house, lost practically all that I had. I barely had anything on me when I came to Enugu. As a YouTube beginner, I couldn’t find any precise guide on this topic. So I just want to share basic, simple information and ideas to the beginners who want to make money on YouTube what I have learnt in my past years.

Note: This is not only for the beginners but to anybody who wishes to improve their YouTube channel.

So if you want to try your own YouTube channel and if you are a beginner this guide is for you also.

In Nigeria, you will come across different Ideas/Topics for YouTube channel, how to create and monetize the channel and how to gain more subscribers.

Steps on how to make money on YouTube

Step 1: Build your YouTube channel

Your channel is your personal presence on YouTube. Each YouTube account has one channel attached to it. A YouTube account is the same as a Google account, and creating a YouTube account will grant you access to other Google products, such as Gmail and Drive.

Create your account or use your existing one. Add keywords to help people find your channel.

You can add keywords by navigating to the Advanced section of your Channel Settings. Make sure that your keywords are relevant to your content.

Your username can also work for or against you. If it’s short, easy to remember, and original, people will be more apt to remember you.

However, if you are using an existing account, you can always change your username by editing it on your Google+ account.

Creating a YouTube channel using your Google account If you have a Google account, you can watch, share YouTube content.

But you need to create a YouTube channel to upload videos, comment, or make playlists.

You can use a computer or the YouTube mobile site / App to create a new channel.

Here are the steps:

Go to YouTube and sign in: Head over to YouTube.com and click ‘sign in’ in the top right corner of the page. Sign in using your Google account username and password.
Go to YouTube settings: In the top right corner of the screen, click on your profile icon and then the Settings’ icon.
Create your channel: Under your settings, you’ll see the option to “Create a channel,” click on this link. Step 2: Add content

Try to upload content that is high quality, and isn’t super long. (This option can vary depending on what type of content you decide to upload).

Even if your content isn’t great at first, keep at it. Practice makes perfect. Try to make each video better than the last. You will often learn as you go.

Improve your content by either using a better camera or trying better editing software or techniques.

Also, try to improve the way things are filmed. Use a tripod, have a friend help you or light your scenes better. It all helps for a better end product which in turn helps you get a better audience.

By uploading regularly you can help hold an audience.

People are more likely to subscribe if you add content on regular schedule, and maintain that schedule as much as possible.

Make sure to tag your videos with keywords that describe the content, as well as an eye-catching description. These will help drive people to your video from YouTube searches.

Step 3: Build an audience

You can monetize a video as it uploads by clicking the Monetization tab and checking the “Monetize with Ads” box.

To monetize a video after it has been uploaded, open your YouTube Creator Studio, select the channel drop-down and click the Monetization to monetize your videos.

Get reviewed after reaching 4,000 watch hours in the previous 12 months and 1,000 subscribers

Upon reaching this threshold, your channel is automatically reviewed to make sure it complies with the YouTube Partner Program terms and their Community Guidelines. Youtube will email you a decision, usually within a week.

Step 6: Set up Google Adsense

You can set up Google AdSense for free at the AdSense website.

Click the Sign Up Now button to begin creating your account. You must be 18 years or older to create your own account. If you are younger than that, you will need an adult to help you.

You need either PayPal or a bank account and a valid mailing address as well as other information so AdSense can verify who you are and who to send the money to. You only gain money per ad click and a smaller amount per view but it adds up over time. This is why having an audience is key.

Step 7: Market your videos elsewhere

Don’t put your videos just on YouTube! Start a blog, make a website or post them on other video or social media sites.

The more views it gets, the better. By sharing the link or embedding the video on the internet, you are increasing the chance of it getting noticed.

Step 8: Become a YouTube partner

YouTube Partners are YouTube members who have monetized videos with a large number of viewers. Partners gain access to more content creation tools and can win prizes for the number of viewers they have. Partners also get access to much more community support and tips.

You can apply for YouTube partnership at any time through the YouTube Partner page.

If your channel has previously been in YPP: When you reach the program threshold, your channel will be automatically re-evaluated under the new criteria. You can check your monetization status at Creator Studio > Channel > Monetization.

Step 9: Increase your YouTube revenue with affiliate marketing

“Affiliate marketing” means selling products in exchange for a commission.

Hundreds of thousands of companies offer attractive deals to affiliate marketers who promote their products/services.

What is YouTube Affiliate Marketing?

YouTube affiliate marketing is the process of creating videos and placing affiliate links in the actual videos (via annotations) or in video descriptions, which includes links to products you review and use in your videos that will track a purchase.

If someone makes a purchase using your affiliate link, you receive a small commission for the sale.

You can Sell/Promote others’ products as an affiliate marketer, where huge companies, Jumia, Konga, Amazon and eBay, to smaller companies offer good deals to promoters.

13-year-old Ochanya buried in Benue State

It was a day of mourning in the Ogene-Amejo, Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State as 13-year-old Elizabeth Ochanya Ogbanje who was raped by her aunt’s husband and his son over a course of 5 years was laid to rest.

The burial was attended by the state Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Comfort Ladi-Ajene, who described Ochanya’s death as painful and touching.

Representing the Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, the commissioner said the suspension of the alleged rapist, Andrew Ogbuja from his place of work, Benue State Polytechnic Ugbokolo, has been approved.

Ochanya’s death has led to major protests online and offline.

Candidates admitted into NDA for Regular Course will undergo military and academic training as Officer Cadets for a duration of 5 years for Nigerian Army cadets 4 years for Nigerian Navy and Nigerian Air force cadets. 10. Anything that is not managed will deteriorate. If you want to uncover problems you don’t know about, take a few moments and look closely at the areas you haven’t examined for a while. I guarantee you problems will be there.

11. Pay attention to your competitors, but pay more attention to what you’re doing. When you look at your competitors, remember that everything looks perfect at a distance. Even the planet Earth, if you get far enough into space, looks like a peaceful place.

12. Never let anybody push you around. In our society, with our laws and even playing field, you have just as much right to what you’re doing as anyone else, provided that what you’re doing is legal.

President Donald Trump has "zero authority" to end birthright citizenship by himself, legal experts say.
President Donald Trump has "zero authority" to end birthright citizenship unilaterally, legal and immigration experts say, with one immigration lawyer describing his plan to do so via executive order as a "Hail Mary" meant to garner support ahead of next week's midterm elections.

In an interview with "Axios on HBO" published Tuesday morning, Trump called the concept of birthright citizenship "ridiculous" and said it "has to end."

"We're the only country in the world where a person comes in and has a baby, and the baby is essentially a citizen of the United States ... with all of those benefits," Trump said, falsely — more than 30 countries have laws providing for birthright citizenship.

In the US, birthright citizenship is enshrined in the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which says, "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside."

But Trump told Axios he didn't think he needed to go about ending the practice with a constitutional amendment.

"You can definitely do it with an act of Congress," he said. "But now they're saying I can do it just with an executive order."

'The 14th Amendment is clear'
"Trump has zero authority to amend the Constitution through executive fiat, and he certainly can't do it with a tweet," Matthew Kolken, an immigration attorney in Buffalo, New York, told Business Insider on Tuesday.

Kolken added that it would be "virtually impossible" to amend the Constitution in today's political climate. Amendments require either a two-thirds majority vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate or a constitutional convention called for by two-thirds of state legislatures.

"It is also exceptionally unlikely that either of Trump's nominees to the Supreme Court would rule that there is any ambiguity in the 14th Amendment, which provides for birthright citizenship," Kolken said.

Greg Siskind, an immigration lawyer based in Memphis, Tennessee, described Trump's desire to end birthright citizenship as an "extremist act" the Supreme Court is highly likely to reject.

"I think the 14th Amendment is clear in enshrining birthright citizenship in the law, and there is interpretive case law from the Supreme Court supporting this," Siskind told Business Insider. "Even with a conservative Supreme Court, I have faith the Court will reject this extremist act."

Siskind described the plan, as well as the Trump administration's decision to send thousands of troops to the US border later this week, as "Hail Mary passes designed to thwart disaster" for Republicans in next week's midterms.

"On the other hand, given the administration's history, I'm not doubting they will still pursue these measures after the election," Siskind added.

Trump's professed desire to end birthright citizenship was also decried by immigration activists and human-rights groups.

"This is a blatantly unconstitutional attempt to fan the flames of anti-immigrant hatred in the days ahead of the midterms," the American Civil Liberties Union tweeted Tuesday. "The 14th Amendment's citizenship guarantee is clear."

A WOMAN who had her belly button removed in an act of revenge against her estranged family now regrets her “impulsive” operation.
After her body was mutilated, she bizarrely sent the belly button to her then boyfriend as a “present”.

Paulina Casillas Landeros, 23, had her entire belly button removed in an act of revenge.

Paulina Casillas Landeros, 23, from Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico, fell out with her family after they who didn’t approve of her alternative lifestyle.

As well as several tattoos all over her body, Ms Landeros engaged in extreme body modifications such as getting a back corset — where piercings are created on either side of the spine, laced with ribbons and pulled tight — along with a split tongue.

Annoyed that her family didn’t approve of her lifestyle, Ms Landeros decided to remove her belly button out of spite, as it is “what makes us human”.

She then gave it as a strange gift to her then boyfriend in 2015.

Paulina had her belly button removed and packaged it up as a gift for her then boyfriend.

Since having her belly button removed three years ago, Ms Landeros has made up with her family and ultimately regrets her decision, describing it as “reckless and impulsive”.

The HR intern and tourism student explained: “I have always had problems with my family, I was not very close to them at the time.

“Body modifications fascinated me, there is something very transcending about them.”

Describing herself as “very angry” at the time, she decided to “cut all unions from everything and everyone”.

Paulina explained that she removed her belly button as it was the one thing that “makes us human”.
“I wanted to dehumanise myself in a symbolic way, I wanted to do something controversial,” she said.

Ms Landeros had an operation to remove her belly button but claims the “professional gave me very bad advice on how to take care of the trauma so it got infected”.

“I was suffering, I spent days in bed as if I were quarantined. I couldn’t stretch, push, stand up or laugh,” she said.

“It gradually healed itself but not 100 per cent — it will never close entirely.”

Even though it was a painful procedure, Landeros knew exactly what she wanted to do with her removed belly button.

The young woman decided to turn it into a — some might say nauseating — token of love for her then boyfriend, Daniel Ramirez.

Paulina packaged her belly button up in a small bag and attached a note that read ‘I love you’, as a gift for her then boyfriend.

“I was very much in love with my then boyfriend; he supported me through many difficult times, and he is one of the most influential people in my life,” she said.

“It was something I did in the spur of the moment. We were young and stupid but that’s the way I felt.”

She said she put the belly button in a small bag and attached a note which read “I love you”.

“He has kept it and he will keep it forever because he knows the meaning behind it,” she said.

“We are good friends now but we will always love each other.”

Her relationship with her family has improved since then and Ms Landeros now realises how irreversible the decision to remove her belly button was.

She also said: “I do regret it when I put myself in my mum’s position, it must have been devastating for her, she was so sad.

“I can’t imagine how it must feel, your own child wanting to break all their connection to you.

“If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t do it again, it was impulsive, reckless and I hurt a lot of people.”

Ms Landeros said the experience has taught her the importance of thinking things through before acting.

“And (the scar) is a nice reminder that characterises me,” she said.

Panic as cultists murder Rivers Royal Highness, behead 2 others

PORT HARCOURT—The killing of the Paramount Ruler of Elibrada community in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, Eze Oha Augustine Amadionu, Monday afternoon, in his palace by suspected cultists, has reportedly thrown the entire community into panic.

The cultists, it was gathered, also killed two other persons, Wayagbo Amadi, and an unidentified young man, whose heads they took away.

A source in the community, who preferred anonymity, disclosed that the gunmen laid siege to the community before killing their targets.

The source said: “Cult boys entered our community yesterday afternoon (Monday) and killed our royal highness.

“The boys also killed one other person, Wayagbo. They removed his head. We also heard that they had killed somebody at Oduoha before they came into our community.

“People are living in fear now in the community. Some are even leaving. Although Police have come, our people are still living in fear.”

Rivers State Police Command’s spokesman, DSP Nnamdi Omoni, who confirmed the killings, described them as unfortunate.

Omoni noted that a team of security operatives has been drafted to the area to restore calm, but blamed the reoccurring incident of killings in Emohua communities to regrouping of cult gangs from a particular section of the community.

He appealed to residents of Emohua community to help the Police with useful information that can lead to the arrest of the cultists terrorising the council.

The 41-year-old French World Cup winner, who had been working as an assistant coach for the Belgian national team since 2016, signed a contract with Monaco through until June 2021.

The former striker will be joined by Joao Carlos Valado Tralhao, under-23 coach at Benfica, and Patrick Kwame Ampadu, coach at the Arsenal Academy.

Henry replaces Leonardo Jardim, who was sacked in midweek following a string of poor results that left Monaco languishing in 18th in France's Ligue 1.

Henry knows Monaco well having graduated from their youth system and making his professional debut for the Principality club in 1994.

He notably scored seven goals in the 1997-8 Champions League as the Monaco team of the time, then coached by Arsene Wenger, reached the semi-finals, where they lost to Juventus.

"First of all, I thank AS Monaco for giving me the opportunity to coach the team of this club which is so special to me," Henry said.

"I am very happy to come back to AS Monaco and extremely determined to meet the challenges ahead. I can not wait to meet the players to start working together."

After spending five seasons as a player with Monaco, Henry went on to play for Juventus, Arsenal, Barcelona and the New York Red Bulls.

He scored 51 goals in 123 appearances for France, winning not only the 1998 World Cup but also Euro 2000.

Monaco chief executive officer Vadim Vasilyev, said Henry could "count on our trust and all our support to bring a new dynamic to the team and carry out the mission".

"His knowledge of football, his passion for the game, his high standards and his commitment to our colours make his nomination a reality.

"Thierry is both aware of the task ahead and eager to start his new job."

How to check your 2018/2019 admission status on JAMB portal

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has on Sunday, October 7, 2018, that 200,000 candidates have been offered admission for the 2018/2019 academic session.

The Head, Media and Information of JAMB, Fabian Benjamin while announcing this in Lagos urged candidates to go to JAMB's website and check their admission status.

He added that those who have been offered admission should quickly indicate by accepting and printing such offer, as failure to do so will automatically mean the candidate is no longer interested.

If you haven't checked your admission status, here's how you to check it.

1. Go to JAMB portal at JAMB eFacility Portal.

2. Login with your Email and Password.

6. After your details have been successfully loaded, check if you have been given admission.

7. If you have been given admission, you will notice that the Accept Admission and Reject Admission buttons will be active. If not, the buttons will appear faint. You can now accept or reject your admission offer under your Admission Profile by clicking on the corresponding button.

Selena Gomez's mental health treatment will be "open ended".

The 26-year-old star is said to be receiving treatment at a psychiatric facility after suffering an "emotional breakdown" and she will continue to receive support for the forseeable future.

A source told the New York Post's Page Six that Selena's treatment will be "open ended".

The insider added: "Selena has had a lot on her plate -- too much."

Selena - who underwent a kidney transplant last year - has been admitted to hospital twice recently, with the first coming after she became despondent and emotional when she was revealed to have had an "alarmingly low" white blood cell count.

TMZ recently reported that although the 'Wolves' singer was released a few days later after the most recent admission, she was readmitted because her low blood cell count hadn't changed and it had sent Selena into a downward emotional spiral.

However, an insider has now said the star isn't one to "let things go unchecked", and that she's inclined to get help as soon as she thinks it's necessary.

The source added: "She'll seek help as soon as she needs it - and ideally, she tries to get help before she needs it, preventatively.

"Just because she's in a psychiatric hospital, doesn't mean she had some wild breakdown, she just knows to stay on top of things."

1. Bad hygiene

This is more of a prerequisite than you’d think, gentlemen. And this includes a whole host of things. Plenty of women find it gross when men don’t floss after brushing their teeth. But there are certain things regarding which most women concur. It should go without saying that dirty finger nails, and inadequate hair trimming in certain areas are both traits that make a man very undesirable. Do let’s keep it nice and clean, shall we?

2. Spending your free time gaming

This is true. I happen to have a friend, a 26 year old with a stable job, yet spends all his free time glued to his Xbox. Gentlemen, if you wish to make the transition from boys to eligible young men, learn to curb your time spent gaming, whether computer games, Xbox or whichever sort, to a minimum and use it instead on quality time with your woman. You needn’t give it up entirely. But understand that most young ladies do not believe their idea of a perfect evening to be spent in front of your Xbox.

3. Your bedroom looks like you’re still 14

If you still have a superhero bedspread with a comforter to match, lose it. Or if you can’t, then refrain from using it. Your furniture and other accessories should reflect the fact that you’re a mature, well-adjusted man. Dirty pants and clothes lying on the floor, wall posters, empty cans and containers are a no-no. Also, ditch the compulsion to collect useless items characteristic of a teenager.

Your house/apartment/loft need not be exceptionally large and spacious with remarkably sophisticated furniture; most women are not as mercurial as that; but it does need to be clean. So, that empty milk carton on the kitchen counter and those expired food containers in the refrigerator? They need to go. That habit of leaving shoes in places where shoes should never be, like the coffee table for one? It needs to go too. A messy house makes you less desirable to a woman. And let us save ourselves from parasitic and bacterial infestation in the process, gentlemen.

6. Late nights with friends

So you love hanging out with your boys. Nothing wrong with that. But, settling down in a long term relationship means compromises.
