SORA

IN LOVING MEMORY 6-6-2013

Sora, passed away 2 months ago. I was devastated as he left without any signs or indications.
A day before the unfortunate day, I went back home to Klang and saw him, he was healthy, active and he missed me, I can tell. You see, due to my new job, I was required to travel back and for between Klang/Puchong/Damansara. So I decided that staying in Klang wasn't such a good idea, I started looking for house in Subang area and finally I stay in one of the nice soho in SS15. And because its a SOHO, there is no place for Sora. I left Sora with my mother who at the same time has 2 other dogs in the house, a mix breed dog and a pug named Gina. Gina, is a female pug who became Sora's best friend in a short period of time as they are both allowed to stay indoor, the other dog stayed outdoor.

Back to how or what killed Sora? I do not know until today. Sora was sent to a nearby dog grooming center, whom owner, I had met and had a short chat before. Thats the same place we get our food supply for our dogs for months. The owner himself is also a dog lover, he had a few furkids of his own. And it was the first time Sora and Gina visited a grooming center together. Sora had many grooming visits in the past and all were uneventful.

According to the owner, Sora was extremely frightened, and started acting 'not normal', had jerky episodes all over his body and finally succumbed to death. He was in the grooming center for at least 3 hours before he died. My brother got a distress call from the owner, first call saying that Sora was having a fitting episode and less than 5 mins later, the next call saying that he was dead.

I was at that time working, was shocked by the news, rushed home to see his body. We buried him that same night in the house garden. All was too sudden for me to digest in a short time. A day before I went back to see him, I hugged and told him that I Love him alot. And now he's no longer with me.
I suspected something went wrong, there were horror story of how ill these groomers treats dog under their care or how dangerous is the sedation that they sometimes gives to calm down your dog. Sometimes they also give injections as a tranquilizers for aggressive dogs. Possibilities of an unlawful practices is there, but I did not pursue him. I chose to let Sora go in peace.

I wrote something on my facebook wall that night that he passed, I felt something inside me is dead.

"Tears are precious. I've only shed my tears thrice in recent memories. One right after my first broke up, second when my sisters dog "girl" pass away and today my tears are for my baby boy Sora who just left us in a sudden, without any warning. I came home yesterday to see him, hug , and kissed him. I told him I love him as always and that he'll always be my good baby boy. Life has a funny way for taking good things away from you the same way how it gave you in the first place. We're always too busy with work or other things until at the least expected moment, life take them back away from you. It made you realize that you do no really own each things that you think you have. They can be taken away anytime from you. Nothing is truly yours forever. Learn to love and appreciate those around you. And to my dearest Sora, don't be scared and lonely at the new foreign place. Be a good boy that you always were, wait for me.. One day when my time comes, I will go and find you and we will be together again. Love you and goodbye for now 空 SORA. RIP 6-6-2013."

Now, 2 months after his death, I still misses him alot. He will always be my baby, my son and my best friend. Gina misses Sora as well, she became moody, less active, and she looks depress all the time after Sora's departure. Its a funny thing how dog's emotion has so much resemblance to human. She didn't bid Sora goodbye, I did not too. But I want to let Sora know something, that I love him, always...

Botoxification

A month ago. I did Botox jaw treatment myself. I always have squary jaw and it bothers me alot when I take pic. Certain angle really makes me look extremely chubby or fat which I'm certainly not. It's due to messeter hypertrophy a condition where the bulk of your chewing muscles get overgrowth due to your eating habits, love to chew hard solid food? Teeth clenching habits? Love Chewing gums? How do you know you have squary face due to messeter hypertrophy, look yourself in the mirror and clench your teeth, if you can see clearly the muscle showing up , you are a good candidate for this procedure. Most Asians we are plague by this. So the procedure is pretty painless, injection of Botox on both sides of face directly on the muscle. And after a month or two, you will be surprised by the outcome. Look at my own photo and judge yourself. Further slimming will be ongoing and ill take another picture next month and compare.

Hey readers, if you guys still reading.. I did not update my blog for a long long time.. so sorry!

A few small updates bout whats happening to me now..

1. I've got a new job, working in private clinic now as an aesthetician. Basically my job deals with human beautification and main business is doing botox, fillers and lasers. Its fun! exciting and I love making people beautiful and handsome!

2. I'm currently back into the dating game.. with someone extremely special since last June. Thank love cupid for that, but its more of a long distance relationship now due to my new job. & I hope it'll change soon. :) My official 2nd relationship!

3. I'm currently back to peninsular malaysia after like 4.5 years away rotting myself away in Borneo island! And I love the food here, that explains why Im putting on much fat.

The new almighty IPAD and PAPER

So being the gadget kiasu master, I've taken the effort to import myself the latest gadget from apple which is the new iPad all the way from Singapore. And so far I'm loving it. Since you can easily find plenty of review by professionals out there and do you really need reviews to tell you how awesome apple and their devices are? Blek! So I'll do a small write up about a gorgeous app just released not long just perfect with the new iPad super highres retina display. This wonderful app is called paper by fiftythree.

People made a big fuss about fiftythree because they are the same people involved in the video of microsofts currier. Which was then a history after the project was killed, for whatever reason? But maybe cause its too advance for our current technology maybe? So the team came out and made an app for iOS. Currently only available on iPad only. And this software is worth every penny if you like drawing or sketching on your iPad!

It's actually free for tryouts. But only the eraser and pen tool is available. After messing around with the pen tools, I quickly downloaded the whole package for only usd7.99 which is not too expensive for something which I been using everyday since its launch day. Okay I may not be the greatest artist but I do enjoy drawing. So I'll upload some drawings here just to let you guys see what you can expect from the app itself. And oh yeah, please have a stylus ready, you'll appreciate the app more with a stylus.

This month is special for me as I'm celebrating my 28th birthday end of the month! Talk about reaching 30. >.<

And I just got back from Bangkok. This trip just like others I enjoyed shopping and Bangkok is a shopping heaven!!!

And I had a chance to play dress up in Bangkok in a photo shoot :) one day of feeling and experiencing how it's like modeling in front of professional photographer after styled by make up artist. The stylist did mention I look like Korean. Well I used to think that when someone refer you as a Korean they mean you have tiny ptosis-ed eyes but looks like the Koreans we are used to seeing now are much better looking that last time. After all they do have the most famous plastic surgeon there So I'll take that as a compliment.

Hello readers, contrary to most suspiscion, I'm not dead, yet! Sigh, the reason that I've not been updating is because I felt that I've lost the motivation to write. So many bad things has happened to me lately, I think I have to see a feng-shui master to channel my bad luck somewhere else!

So I treat myself better by going travelling to many new places. Yeah! I just came back from Taiwan and I might as well just confessed here that I've been having continous epileptic shopaholic seizure! OMG! My credit card microchip has been acting weird (malfunction) due to excessive continous swipes, ugh, its TRUE.

I'll make a short update what has happened since my last update.

1. I'm still so much so single!
2. Sora has grow up much! turning from cute to Handsome!
3. I've gained some muscles! far from what I'm targetting though!
4. Still buying underwears (I've sworn not to buy already this year)
5. Bank Account suffered from a series of earthquakes!
6. Mentally stronger & wiser (hopefully)
7. I have like 20 jackets+sweater+cardigans (half bought from recent Taiwanese trip!)
8. Tons of new face mask, eye mask, more kiehl's, and korean facial products!
9. Got an LV bag, its a macassar keepal (huhuhu~ :P)
10. I'm 50% vainer than before, teehee!

Late New year WISH

Happy new year!
Time definitely went by fast, today's the 7th day of 2012 already..
Unlike most of you, busying partying everywhere, I work, work and work!
err.. ah well, working on holidays is part of my job descriptions, can't complaint!

This year I have a few trips and holiday, which Im super excited, Taipei trip in end of February and also my Bangkok trip (yes, again & again!).. I also need to plan for a trip to Bali, who wants to come with me?

PlayStation VITA

Today I received my HK edition PSVITA in the mail! So far this next generation portable from Sony is only released in Japan and HK, the rest of the world will have to wait till Feb 2012 on the 22nd for the worldwide release, but many anxious gamers including myself has imported from HK or Japan for a 'premium' price, of course. No color choice, all black only, Iphone 4 anyone? and it has the WIFI or WIFI/3G edition, Ipad anyone? looks like Sony is taking cues from Apple for product decisions. And mine is the value pack, which besides the console itself, comes bundle with accessories and uncharted:golden abyss. Accessories includes a glossy screen protector, handy but bulky casing, microfibre cloth (to wipe the touch screen), 4GB vita memory card (this thing is so small) and a case for you to keep the games in). Yea the vita memory card is again proprietory (how typical of sony) and is so tiny that if you sneeze while opening the package, you might not be able to find it again. Comes in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB (sold out at most places). Games are pretty 'japanese' at the moment, of course I buy it for uncharted!

So far I meddle with the interface, its so smooth, if you've played with Ipad2 before, it felt just like that, everything is so natural with the touchscreen. You can flick, swipe and tap just like iOS interface!
Only dissapointment so far is, you cannot transfer videos, music and picture over to the PSVITA if you have Mac PC, only windows supported so far, and its no drag and drop like previously, instead you have to run Sony's software. Maybe to fight piracy is guess?

So todays the launching of Iphone4s in Malaysia, and yesterday some lucky guy already got theirs after queueing up and waited, some just bought it online and awaiting for delivery today! To be honest, I felt like I am missing out here, sigh, blame my overspending habits, and I already made up my choice to pre-order Playstation Vita, so my iPhone4S money is going into the fund there! & personally the only reason I would made the 4S jump is entirely for SIRI, my iphone4 is not lagging, its not giving me major problems, in fact, it has been serving me quite well. SIRI I had a chance to play with it the other day, was impressed by the voice recognition but she is not perfect! A lots of function that made SIRI fun was not available if used in our country, and the problem with voice recognition is, chances that if you are using it in the middle of your dinner or outside walking around in a mall, she is not going to hear you very well, of course it works best if your environment is silent or if you have a good noise cancellation device such as Jawbone bluetooth headset!

I got myself a Jawbone ICON during my transit in the Shuvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok early this month! and it is available locally as well, you just need to know where to find them! & so far I havent heard of jawbone imitation, but I am not surprised if there is anyway. So I've been using it daily now, and I have to say its one of those things where once you start using it, you can't live without it! Before this I had a chance to play with Aliph Jambox for few days (another great product from the same company) , as expected, its a premium product right from the packaging, to the product itself and the application too.

Out of the box you'll get the charger, the headset itself, booklet and earfits with multiple size. These ear fits are very comfortable and can sit in your ears for hours without any pain or discomfort. Before using it, you'll have to pair it with your device, simultaneously you can hook it up to mutiple devices so you can be enjoying music from online streaming audio service on your Ipod touch and then it will automatically answer a phone call when your blackberry rings. An Italian experience

Throughout the next few post I’ll talk about my recent trip to Europe, yeah I visited a few countries including Italy, Switzerland, Monaco, France and the independent state of Vatican City. Its actually my first time to the Europe and to experience early winter something every asian like myself who are so used to ‘summer’ whole year, this is one thing we would like to do before we hit grave! Of course, I began packing many kilos of thick long-sleeved shirts, sweaters and my other winter jacket (some which I bought in Zara last year and I thought I would never had a chance wearing them in our hot climate!)

First day of my traveling included many hours of flights, I flew from Miri to KL, travelled from LCCT airport to KLIA airport, took my next flight to Bangkok, where I transited in Suvarnabhumi International Airport to Milan, Malpesa Airport in Italy. Oh in Bangkok, I manage to do shopping in the airport, bought myself a new casing for my Iphone4 and also my Jawbone Icon! We flew with Thai Airways, very comfortable! Our in flight entertainment was excellent, I watched some Glees, Big bang theory, and a movie called Bad Teachers starring Justin Timberlake and xxxxx(?), Once we reached there, we passed through the customs, (a sidenote on the customs, because Malaysia is one of the commonweath countries, sometimes they don’t even stamp on our passport, they’ll just let you pass, and if you were to insist them to chop on your passport, they’ll tell you that they don’t have a knife to chop your passport, must be a common tour guide joke! it was funny! LOL!). So it was 7am local time there, we wasted no time wasted, we changed in the airport’s toilet, and I wore 5 pieces of clothing, I almost felt that I’ve had some form of stroke when moving my limbs, I can’t move them freely in layers of clothes and the temperature were 1-2 degrees when we reached!

We took a coach bus and crossed border to Switzerland and visited our first destination, the lakeside city of Lugano. It was a sunday morning, quiet town actually, all shops were closed at that time, we went around the lakeside area watching local, some were there for jogging, they brought their kids and dogs (yea Swiss and their love for dogs) for a walk, some were doing cycling. The view was scenic, temperature were perfect, place was so clean and the air has a refreshing scent to it, its something we don’t get here in this part of the world. I noticed that all my pictures taken during this cold, early winter time, they all look all albeit brownish and bluish, and they seems like I’ve applied a layer of Photoshop effect on it, which I did not. No complain yea! its probably the lack of clouds in the sky, and the thick mist as well as the old building (mostly painted with brown and milky colored walls) which helps to bring out the feeling of european autumn-winter season! The autumn palette from the trees and leaves are starting to shed leaving a bare trees and did you know that the only tree which stays green 365 days are the pine trees?

After that we went shopping at the Foxstore (outlets for the branded goods), they were all using CHF which was their Swiss currency, approximately 1 CHF =1.2 Euros, 1 Euros= RM 4.3. There were Gucci, Hugo Boss, Polo, LV, Burberry etc (you get the picture), all in the form of departmental stores where you can walk in, browse and touch without a salesman staring and watching you from behind. These goods are cheaper cause they are at least more than 3 months old, which means they are already out of fashion, mind you, they were not cheap. We ended up empty handed 2.5 hours of shopping, ouch!

After a nice lunch in Switzerland at a beautiful restaurant overviewing the lake, we went back to Milan, the fashion city! In Milan we went to the Gothic Duomo, a large catholic church which is currently under restoration. Then we walk through a glass-domed Galleria to towards Scala Opera House. Theres this statue of Leonardo Da Vinci (Mona Lisa anyone?) nearby the Opera House, and its like a small park there bustling with the locals. Galleria is the place where we shop at the Gucci store, there’s Prada and LV too. Prices here were cheaper than in Malaysia and of course you can claim the 12% tax refund which made our purchase sweeter! I just got a Gucci wallet for myself, mom got a bag (which she refused when I offered to pay for her). The whole place was packed with people! Something about the Italian, they were all good looking, in their fashionable winter wear, and cute chihuahuas, 80% of them were tall and slim (you guys should know if you watches soccer-hottest bunch of footballers!)

Also before going back I manage to spend half and hour in H&M nearby the church (sorry but the church does not catch much of my interest there), bought a shirt, underwears and a scarf there, which was cheap and nice! I went like schoolgirl crazy when I spotted H&M there cause I always wanted to visit one since my friend bought me a nice shirt from Korean H&M and my sister bought me another shirt from H&M Hong Kong (why can’t Malaysia has one?), I just wished I have more time to test the shirts and pants but only 1/2 hour only! Eek too much time spent at the Gucci store perhaps? Damn!

We stayed overnight at Milano (there’s how the Italian called Milan, everyone with a O behind, Milano, Italiano, Cappuccino, Mario, Duomo, Leonardo (Shit, I just made things up! :)), Oh yeah did I tell you? everything here cost Euros, which includes going to toilets, asking for hot water refill from the hotel lobby, using the cart at the airport! We ended up holding our bladder (bladder training), drinking water from tap water (apparently this is one of the cleanest place to drink water directly from the tap water besides Austria - their water from the Ice from mountain tops, think Evian mineral waters), pushing our many luggages by ourselves - not too bad, the european teach us how to save money. remember 1 Euro= RM4.3, heck even small bottle of coke which cost us only RM2.70 is Euro 2.70 in Italy! Crazy oh!

Home coming

Currently using free wifi at the Rome international airport. I believe it's the Leonardo da Vinci airport local calls it Fuminacio or something. Flying first to Germany at Munich airport then to Bangkok. Finally to KLIA omg. I hope I can rest properly on the plane. Going to miss Italian yummy food and the cool whether!! Anyway pictures will be up in one or two days lol. I took a lot of them! Also going to miss walking into Prada and Gucci and acting like those filthy rich china tycoon and molesting all the luxurious bags and of coz I bought a few, 1 LV 1 Gucci handbag for mom, 3 Gucci wallets for me and brothers lastly the 1 Longchamp leather bag for myself (I love this most!) Yesterday went and shop in Rome, have to be the largest Zara shop and I bought the blue jeans as seen in the picture. 4 floors of Zara goodness with changing room
in each floors also got lifts insides too. It's price probably just slightly cheaper than Malaysia and all winter wear which is not so applicable to us. Okay will post later. Bye for now.

Hello from Italy!

So I'm here and it's beautiful. Weather is perfect. Shopping is making my wallet bleed like a post partum hemorrhage! But I'm happy! That's all that matter. Oww. I hope my puppy is growing well and don't piss anyone of by howling excessively at night without me. Yeah I miss you too Sora!
I've took many photos until I am forced to clear off and transfer my files over to my external hard drive!
And already uploaded some on Facebook if you guys have my profile as friend. Anyway adios.

Leaving for holiday

Waiting at the airport, for my flight to Milan Italy. Looking forward for a great trip! Never been to Europe and never experienced cold weather. Now it's 10 degrees only there and I've packed all my winter clothing! Hopefully can do some shopping there, after all it's Milan! Be sure to expect tons of pictures! I've had all my gears ready and batteries fully charged, memory card emptied! My bowels ate prepared for pizza, spaghetti, and what not! No Asian food for 2 weeks!

As excited as I am, sadly I am missing my baby already. Hope he will be well behaved when I'm not around. He is growing very fast I feel like 2 weeks is a long time.

Okay. I'll sign off for now. Awaiting at the boarding area, for my plane. Adios!

Super Mario 3D land and Zelda Skyward Sword Controller Bundle!

I've preordered these 2 Nintendo gems, and yeah my wii is collecting dust in the box, now I found myself a very good excuse to bring it out and hook it on my new LED TV to play. I seriously dont know where I've misplaced my wiimotes + nunchuk already, so when I heard there's this bundle with a Wiimoteplus controller, I quickly make my preorder! Not only does the package comes in a shiny golden box, it also contains the 25th annivesary Zelda orchestra Music CD inside, Woot!!

Can you feel the EPICNESS!!!!

Everything inside the box, including gold batteries! Muahahaha!

The Super Mario Land 3d, just the normal edition, in the US they are bundling the game with a Flame red Nintendo 3DS, which is a dope! Too bad I got my 3Ds way earlier. Nothing to brag about the Mario, just your usual 3DS game casing, minimally designed.

CD also Gold in color!! This is the Limited Orchestra symphony CD!

The Music CD, consisting of 45 mins zelda soundtrack all fullly orchestrated, featuring tunes from previous zelda games. These are the tracklisting and below is the link to youtube music sample!

Ah uncharted 3, one the most highly anticipated 2011 title exclusively for the ps3, for those in the dark, this is the 3rd installment of the adventure of Nathan drake, an adventurer hunting for lost treasures, think again modern day Indiana jone or male counterpart of tomb raider. And the first 2 on the series were dope! Hands down my top 2 favorite games for the ps3. Naughty dog previously work includes the famous rachet and clank series also exclusive only for the playstation.

Uncharted series is famous for its excellent hollywood style story telling, boast one of gamings best voice acting cast, superior next generation graphics and effects, and amazing gameplay and puzzle solving level design.

Huge beautiful Package! Its almost as big as the PS3 itself! gulp!

Once open you will find the steelbox version of game on the left side, with the statue of Nathan Drake on the right side!

All content in the compartment, wearable necklace and buckle belt! also some codes for the unlockable exclusives!

Totally wearable! In fact I'm alreadying wearing it, yes I am such a nerd!

The statue is beautifully crafted by Slideshow, company famous for making collectibles!

I had received my collectors edition and by far I am most impressed by the package as compared to my previous purchase of collector editions. The highlight is the statue of Nathan drake himself in almost 10" tall in his uncharted 3 costume, beautifully sculpted and colored to the finest details, equipped with his weapon, necklace and buckle bet. And in the package you'll get 2 wearable items, a ring necklace, and a buckle belt, very coo for nerds like myself! Then the game come in the steel box case along with 2 redeemable codes for exclusives items. The whole package is fit into a cardboard designed to resemble a closet. All costing me around RM 300 only, totally worth every penny!

Siberian Loves

So the time has finally come, I went to pick up my husky from the pet store. Say hi to Sora! He is just a 5 weeks old siberian husky. Isn't he gorgeous? I love him!

My little puppy is sitting alone in the middle lower cubicle, waiting for me to pick him up, he looks scared and alone in the new environment, of coz he's the most gorgeous puppy on display hands down, poddle who?

Looking shy, dont be fooled. He already started biting and destroying my stuff, first victim is my cable for my speaker, torn into 2 piece. Ugh, have to train it well!

Puppy's favourite activity is sleeping, he can sleep anywhere, anytime! and he snores too!

Little puppy really enjoy sleeping with me. Well, Do not disturb!
