I was surfing through the web when i found something very interesting; its actually a website that contains so much one can hardly not find anything on it (i hope you understand?) well i just mean that you can find almost anything on this site as a Christian and a non Christian... its www.carm.org You can click on the link from this site.

I found out so many answers to bible based questions, such as why would God aske Abraham to kill his son? why would God kill a man for refusing to make children with his brothers wife? why would God kill a man for touching the ark of convenant? why would the Bible contradict itself, when John said i am not elijah and Jesus said: surely i say to you Elijah has come but they did not recognize Him (refering to john the baptist)? What is the actual meaning of the book of revelation? and so much more.

I am not in anyway affiliated to this site (apart from the fact that i am a christian) but i just thought sharing this with you would be a great help, besides there is love in sharing.

Why in the book of Psalm 8:5 it seems as if the bible is actually talking about God making man a little less than the angels? Well, this is the truth, the scriptures was not talking about 'man', it was / is talking about Jesus, because after pointing out the fact that man is nothing for God to think about, he also son or the son of man (Jesus) that though visit him, and then it went ahead to say that he was crowned with glory and honour... and we all know who was crowned with Glory and Honour.. LUST AND LOVE...

It took a while before I realize the true meaning of Love.

I have always thought Celine Deon had the best knowledge about Love or Lionel Richie. Then I discovered John legend, Oh My! He was the best for me - then, he made me actually feel like I knew all about love. One of his songs actually did it for me, “Ordinary people”. Then I heard 'Justice' by Lemar and thought that he was probably more knowledgeable than John Legend. Zara also caught my attention with the track “I want to know”, a part of the song says “I want to know how it feels to be loved, how it feels to be free, how it feels to be me…” and so on. OMG! (Oh my God), then I heard Brandy “Almost Doesn't count”.

All these people made me understand the little I thought I knew about love. I became so popular with my ability to bring all these words in the songs together in different ways, add a little more grammar here and there and I have a very good love poem. I became a master at this in my school. I always felt like I knew so much about love. Actually I did know something about something, but it was not love it was lust!

Yes, I encountered the word Lust and was wondering “what is the difference?” If I was asked why I love someone the things I would say would have been about their physical looks, the stature or on very rare occasion their behaviour. I never knew there was more to Love. If I was asked how to express love I would have said holding each other in a most affectionate way, I would have said disobeying my parents for someone I love is justified, and I would have said being jealous was a most matured way to show a growing love.

There were so many things I would have said about the love I knew then; like I would have advised a friend to treat his girlfriend to a nice dinner and after wards show love in the most expressive manner (which might involve sex). I could not answer the question; the difference between Love and Lost… If you are reading this, I want you to try and answer this question in your mind, if you cannot successfully answer this question you have a lot of work to do my friend. I advise you continue reading with utmost attention as I try to share with you the truth I have found The Difference Between love and Lust.

LUST
This word is used for any strong desire1 but also in the more limited sense of sexual passion2 where modern English Translation prefer to use the word 'desire' or 'bodily desire'. The word is used in the sense of lusting for or after something or someone.
In Theology, Lust is regarded as a sensuous appetite regarded as sinful3.

LOVE
The truth that I found out is 'EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LOVE, IS IN THE BIBLE (even out of Songs of Solomon4)'. I want you to carefully read the following article I got from a Bible Dictionary:
“The whole range of meanings of this English word, physical, emotional, intellectual, are found in the Bible. There is the love of God for isreal5 where it denotes his fidelity to his own convenants. There is also a command that his people shall love God, and this is not the deep affectionate love for a personal God but rather an injunction to loyalty. The word in Hebrew is found in ancient treaties where a subject king is enjoined to 'love' (be loyal to) his overlord. But 'love' is also used in quite a modern sense as when Jacob served seven years for Rachel and they seemed but a few days because of the love he had for her6. Hosea used the images of love, marriage, and faithfulness to describe the relationships of Isreal to God7. And Deutero Isaiah8, also to proclaim the love of God for Isreal, compares it to the love of a mother for her child9
In the New Testament the Greek noun eros (sexual love) is not found for the love of God, or love for God, or for love within the Christian community. Jesus brings together from Deut. 6; 5 and Lev. 19: 8 the commands to love God and neighbour but goes father and emphasizes the duty to love one's enemies10. An episode in Luke 7: 36 50 indicates that the woman who anointed the feet of Jesus was so liberated by forgiveness that she gave out wealth of love. In Pauls epistles love is united with faith and hope 11, as a gift of the Holy Spirit; it is not a human achievement and not therefore a ground for boasting 12. The Sacrifice of Christ on the cross was the supreme sign of the love of God13 and therefore Christian lifestyle was to be in imitation of it 14. This is the outworking of faith and involves special care for the weaker members of the community15.”

Now I know, that God is Love. And it can be found all through the scriptures. Even the love you have for another person; friends, family, fiancé etc. is all embedded in God. For God is Love, and outside of Him is no other definition for Love.

It gives me more reason to thank God when I think about Love.

I appologize for such a long break, the problem is solved by the grace of God.
