Firmware

Heard from the Samsung they were not going to update the Samsung Galaxy s because the Galaxy S won't be able to handle the ICS update in that low hardware. So they next thought of adding or releasing a Value Pack to the Samsung Galaxy S which would bring some of the ICS update in this Value pack. So that the Galaxy S lover would mind if they have not got the ICS Firmware.

Soon after that we have heard that even the Value Pack wont be released to the Galaxy S because even that firmware won't be able to handle by the hardware. The Value Pack firmware was leaked some they have added so many updates which will be found in the Ice Cream Sandwich. In this Value pack they added Face Unlock, taking pictures while recording the video, many improvements in the performance, Smooth handling in the Stock browser, Gaming and Gallery was so smooth,Image Editor which seen in the Galaxy s2, Some of the most interesting things are made in this Value Pack Firmware. Most of the Galaxy S lovers might be disappointed on hearing that they wont be releasing the Value Pack to the Smartphones. But from this source you can download it and have a try it. Most of the people had tried this update and had very positive response for this Firmware. If you wanna try this Click on the source.
A Very Happy New Year to all the blogger and to all the reader. Now we all know that Android 4.0 official code was released and we have seen so many Roms been developed by the developers all the Roms were in the Alpha Stage. So it might take some time to get the Official Rom for the Samsung Galaxy s2.
Before Some of the Developers had came up front and made a Rom which included the Touchwiz 4.0 with the Ice Cream Sandwich. The Rom looks good and the Touchwiz 4.0 was simply smooth and even the Ice Cream Sandwich features had made a smooth run. As it is on the Alpha it might be having bugs in it. If you are interested to install this Rom you can click on the Source link which was set on below this post. Or else Better stay on the Gingerbread for a while, Samsung made a promised that they will introduce the Ice Cream Sandwich to the device in this first quarter.
Google is making it possible by rolling out the latest firmware updates to the Galaxy Nexus, they first started rolling out the 4.0.2 Android update to the LTE version of the Galaxy nexus soon after that they didn't wasted any time sending the update to the GSM Galaxy Nexus. They started rolling out the latest update to the Galaxy Nexus by OTA.

And also not that at all Google had also announced the latest update from it 4.03 which would add some of the major bug fixes, performance updates, and also new API which would be used in the social streaming API, Contacts Provider, Calender improvements and much more and the 4.02 update is so small it is just 8.7MB. And they also wanted this 4.03 update to be the base version to the Ice Cream Sandwich Android Device manufactures. So keep updating your devices to increase your performance on updating the latest firmwares.

Smartphones Running Alpha and Beta Roms of ICS

After announcing the Ice cream Sandwich we have seen so many developers had took their chance to create their own roms to the Smartphone this are the some the Examples which had made it possible. We have seen Samsung Galaxy S2 with its own ICS Rom running smootly, and even we have seen the Sony ericsson device running on ICS update with so smoothly with their default homescreen interface. We have or heard the news that Sony ericsson told that how hard to update their device to the latest updates. By they have taken it as a change as the alpha release of the update was running so smoothly on the device. Now we can see another device running the ICS update which would never been expected. HTC Desire which is running the ICS update so smoothly without any lagging on the device.

One seeing this some of the Nexus one users would be disappointed because the similar to this device nexus s had the same specification when compared to the HTC Desire. Only difference in this device this is have 512 mb internal storage and Desire is have 575MB internal storage. In the difference of 64MB they had dropped their first Nexus one without updating their device Android 4.0. Check this videos which are been using alpha and beta roms which would be officially seen in our hands.
Soon after announcement of the Ice cream sandwich we have seen so many roms that have been presented on the Samsung Nexus s running Ice cream Sandwich and even Google had confirmed that the device will be running the Android 4.0 in coming the days. The days had come now.

Google had kept a message that they are rolling out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Nexus S. And they also announced that we in one month all the devices will be getting the ICS update. Nexus S would be the first device to get the ICS update. At present only the GSM/UMTS versions of the handsets are getting this update.

At this point some of the nexus s CDMA users would be disappointed at present the update will be only for GSM networks. It takes some time to get the update for CDMA users.Keep checking for the new software update on your device. If you don't want waste a single time you can download the Official Rom of ICS and install it manually.Check the difference soon after installing the update in the Nexus S. You may find tons of performance in this update.

We all know that we heard the news from the Adobe of discontinuing the Adobe Flash player to the Mobile in the middle and try to concentrate on the HTML5. Even though they are working hard to bring some of the updates to the Android Mobile which support Adobe flash players. Now we can see the latest updated Adobe Flash Player which was sitting in the Android Market.

This latest updates from the Adobe Flash Player was 11.1.111.5 which brings some of the performance issues and the bug fixes which are related to the Samsung Galaxy s2 which there is a problem with the playback of streaming video in the web browser. And they had 1080p video support to the Nvidia Tegra 3 Devices and even and video playback for video decoding.

And we also know that they had promised that they will be releasing the last update which would be seen in the Android Market to the Ice Cream Sandwich which should be released in this month still no sign of the update from the Adobe. But great to see that they are still giving the support to the issues which are been troubled by the Android Devices. We can probably see the ICS update soon from the Adobe. We will update you as soon as it come to the Android Market and once it is announced.

Samsung Mobile Shipments crossed 300 million

Samsung just announced that the shipments of their mobile had grown very vast and they had crossed 300 million milestone. The first one to cross this milestone was the Nokia now the Samsung was the second company to cross this milestone.

Most of the people know after introducing the Galaxy line their gross of shipment had increased very high. Without this Galaxy line this milestone would been possible to them. And they admitted that Galaxy s and Galaxy SII had made this possible and also played a vital role in the 4G LTE market and grabbed about 33 percent Share of market in Q3 2011. By this milestone we can easy that Samsung had sold 820,000 each and every day. That was really a huge number.

Samsung first crossed the one million milestone of shipping the handset in the Year 1996 and from then the milestones continues 100 million marks in 2005 and 200 million in 2009 and in the couple of years it crossed 300 million. In this future we can see more milestones from the Samsung. And we also know the Samsung had created a milestone in Galaxy S2 too.

Google Goggles which is the best application which can be used for visual search by clicking on the app it will use your camera as to target the place, landmark, bar code and product what ever you would like to search it and want to know to about it. The full information will be in our hands which are targeted with the Google Goggles. And point the device to the Unsolved SUDOKU you can actually solve the game too.Isn't it cool. Yes you heard it right. It was definitely cool.

Now the Google Goggles had updated with 1.7 version and came up with the pretty cool features which looks like that Google will never forgot their applications.
The first feature which are in this Goggles was the continuous mode which you can actually point your device to either landmark, art, products, books, and Bar codes which will give you the information in the continuous mode without taking a snapshot in this. But if you want to translate the text or add a contact we should probably take a snapshot of it. translating the text in the continuous mode is not available in this update. We will soon find this update in this next update. Guess so.

In this Google Goggles app 1.7 we can able to see the rich text recognition. If you had seen any news article on the paper or anything which you like to know something more on it. you would actually point your device to the article or the paragraph it will take you to the best search results and you can actually know much more information on it.

If you want this application you can download it from her the Android Market. This application required Android 2.3 or higher.

Nokia Updates Live view app, come with performance enhancements and new list view

We have seen the the Live view app from the Nokia labs which will provide you the nearest locations, places, shop names using our phone camera, GPS, accelerometer with the use of augmented reality software. It is just like the Layer app in the iOS and Android.

To use this application just calibrate your phone first then start the application you can find the GPS mark on the top corner of the phone which will be showing you all the nearby shops locations. In this update Nokia labs had made some performance enhancement improvements and some new feature of List view. Once the Location or places are located on the app we can easily set your location with the new feature set. This App is available in the Nokia Beta Labs free for Symbian devices. Check the video to see the augmented reality software used in the phone.

Couple of weeks ago the source code of the Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich was released.Once releasing the source code of the Android 4.0 every body might be busy in modding the source code and testing the new kind of ROM on the Galaxy Nexus which would make the Galaxy nexus look and feel totally different.

Every Developer might be creating their own Rom and modding and testing on the Galaxy Nexus. What if it became Brick or freezes soon after installing the modded Rom.

For that Google had came up with the Solution, they released the Stock image for the Galaxy Nexus to easy re-install the stock image and make the device to the early stage before it got modded.Just like factory resetting the Galaxy Nexus which would bring exact image before we got it modded. Now by this alpha tester might be doing some of the experiments so that we can be relaxed if the device was gone to brick. we can easily re-install the Stock image on the Galaxy nexus to make it work. "Note: You will need to set the device in the Fast boot mode before it is getting reverted to the Stock image. And also advised to lock the boot loader once it is reverted to secure your Galaxy Nexus. If you wanna try this try the source link below this post.

We all know that Galaxy Nexus was released with no Adobe flash player on it. On this issue so many queries been recorded on the Adobe forum to get the exact update whether they are going to get updated Adobe flash player on the latest firmware Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Now the Adobe had replied that they are going to release the update to the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in this month December. So soon we will be able to see the moving Flash on our Android Galaxy Nexus Beast. We will soon update you once the Adobe Flash player is being released to the Android 4.0 and they will support us by sending the security fixes to the Adobe flash players. This could be last update and last Adobe flash player update from the Adobe to the Android and as well this firmware could be the last one which supports Adobe Flash Player on our Android Green Robots.

Android Adds Indoor Maps in Google Maps 6.0

Android came up with the new update in the newly updated Google Maps 6.0 with the indoor maps. With the indoor maps of Malls, Airports, train stations which is not available in the Google Android Market and with new homescreen and switch between the menu to select the features.

One of the minor update in the Google Maps 6.0 was the we have a sub menu a quite nice drop down sub menu where we can actually select all our selections like Latitudes, Places, Navigation places, Place home screens etc by this which make the selection pretty easier.

Now one of the biggest update of all the Google Maps to the Android now the Indoor maps of selected malls, and some of the train stations, airports.we all know that Google had covered all the roads, now it is the time to enter in to the malls to keep our navigation too much closer and give us exact mall of shop even when we are inside the malls or Airports, Train Stations.By this we can have the navigation more accurate by this indoor maps and even more accurate not even going to exact location we can actually go the exact place in the Shopping malls shops in the Airports, Train Stations.Google Maps were covered most of the indoor maps in the America and some of the Indoor maps were also from Japan too. Now this update is only available on the Android. It was not found in any web.

A week ago Source code of Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 had been offciallay released by the Google. We could be expecting so many ports and different Roms been ported to the High End device which could be officially taste the power of Ice Cream Sandwich. We have seen Samsung Galaxy S2 and so many other devices been ported the Ice Cream Sandwich Update. Its pretty surprising that one and only first Android Device G1(T-Mobile) had tasted not Gingerbread, the device is been ported with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Pretty Surprising Ah..!

Yes, you heard it correctly some of the developers had tried very heard to port the whole Ice Cream Sandwich to the T-Mobile G1.By seen this we can assume that we can also port the Ice Cream Sandwich to the Google Nexus too and some other old android devices.Whatever the effort done by the developers should be appreciated. Even though the sensitivity and performance is too slow on the device, we have to remember that it was just only single core device with 528 MHZ processor. So it obvious it would be slow.Check the video if you can't believe...Click on the Source if you want a take a try the Alpha release of Ice cream Sandwich on G1.

Couple of weeks back we have seen the Adobe had pulled out the plug of rolling the updates and development of the Flash support to the Smartphone. From the past one year Adobe had made a remarkable history in the Android Platform. And we have all seen that Samsung Galaxy Nexus was unable to play the Flash on the Stock browser. To that Adobe had responded that they will be releasing the last update to the Android Green Robots. They confirmed that Android 4.0 will be supporting Flash Support.

And they confirmed that they will release the update soon by before the end of the year. So we all gonna see some flash on our Android Devices. And also they stated that they wont be rolling any more updates to the next update i.e Android 5.0 named as Jelly Bean. We also heard that Rim had offcially announced that will develop their own plugin to play flash on their devices. We gonna see what are steps would be taken to the next biggest update. And the developers can still be able to create their apps and rich games with Adobe Air. And the Desktop Flash version is going to still to continued.

Yes, You heard it correctly some of the XDA-Developers had created a Custom Rom for the Nexus S.As expected the earlier Custom Rom would be having minor Bug but that doesn't a problem, because they will soon update and fix their problems. The Custom Rom was working pretty good with all the features with some minor bugs like problems ink USB Mass Storage support and data usage Statistics. This will be soon fixed by our XDA Developers Experts. So if you wanna try this Custom Rom you can Click on the Source link to try it.
Sony Ericsson had said that they will update their Xperia line with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich(ICS).We might be little bit worried about our Xperia line which Xperia would be getting the update which is going to live behind. So the Sony Ericsson came front with the list of Xperia Line which they are going to update the Android 4.0.

Here are the list of Xperia line

Xperia Arc

Xperia Arc s

Xperia Pro

Xperia Neo

Xperia Neo V

Xperia Play

Xperia Mini

Xperia Mini Pro

Xperia Active

Xperia Ray

Live with walkman

We can see all the Xperia devices which are not left behind as promised.

Sony Ericsson developers might have already started to develop how to roll out the update into this Xperia line.Which we also can assume that they gonna bring their launcher with this ICS update.Unfortunately we did have the exact date when the ICS Android 4.0 update will be rolled out to this Xperia Line. We will soon update the information once the date is confirmed.
