It's been a while since my last post..... I got a new cutting machine and have been so busy learning and having fun. The Zing is the best cutter I have had so far! What beautiful designs it can cut and with such precision. I've also been spending lots of time learning Make the Cut software. Here's my latest creation. Stained glass paper :) I made the "stained glass" paper in Photoshop elements and then cut it on my Zing. Let me know what you think.

I got a Pazzles Inspiration die cutter recently and just made this card for my sister's birthday. I'm new at this but really enjoy working with the cutter and all the pretty papers and accessories. I feel like a kid again, cutting and pasting! Let me know what you think.....would love any input.

My father passed away 7 years ago this Thanksgiving. I still miss him terribly! He was an extraordinary man. He was a poet, artist, sculptor, musician and story teller....a renaissance man without a doubt. He always kept a notepad by his chair ready for the jotting down of any thought, quip or idea for a short story. I recently found myself browsing through his writings and felt it was time to pay him tribute. I will try to post one of his writings each day. I hope you find them as enjoyable as I do! Here is the first one -
