Cheap but not so Nasty!

Being Australian, I have found it a bit tricky to find both 'High' end and 'Low' end products or dupes for products that are always recommended, so I decided I was going to find Cheap products that I believe are of a decent quality, of course they aren't perfect, but at that price, what the hell!

The first Palette I want to talk about is by Elf, this brand is international (Im not entirely sure where they retail besides the UK). Elf touched down in Australia a few months back and is now available in most Advantage Pharmacy and a few select retailers.

I have tried a few Elf products and I have either Loved or Hated them so I was curious to Try their eye shadows. Most of the eye Shadows retail for $3.99 like most of the products, But the Palettes are a much better deal. I found the Elf 'Beauty Encyclopaedia-Neutrals Edition' for just $6.99 (RRP $9.99).

This Palette contains 12 Neutral eye Shadows, with both matte's and shimmers. All of the colours are wearable. The quality of each shadow does vary, to my dissapointment, with 4 of the shadows having very low pigmentation, and not being easy to get on a brush. My personal Favourites are taupe matte colour on the top, second from the right, shimmery rose/bronze colour second row on the right, the shimmery taupe bottom row, second from the left. and the deep plum in the bottom right hand colour. ( sorry, they don't have names).

These shadows blend reasonable well and don't crease at all.

The packaging is ok, its set out for beginners, which is what you expect from such a cheap brand, it is sturdy and the magnets that hold the from on are good quality.

The next Palette is, I believe, an Australian only brand (sorry). BYS is a brand that has been around for some time, and it currently undertaking in a make over. It is very cheap and mainly available in discount and $2 shops (sorry if you from anywhere else and don't understand the reference). Over the last few months I sucked it up and decided to try some of their products (after a whole lot of hassle from my friend), and I have had some luck with my purchases.

This Palette is again a Mainly Neutrals Palette, All shimmers, which can make it tricky. The Palette, I believe Retails for $15.99 but I was lucky enough to find it on special for $9.99. The Palette is made up of 18 colours, so you get your moneys worth in range. Varying from rich Plums to Burnt Oranges, Through Gold's, Rose's, Olives and Taupe's, and Ranging shades, there is a colour for every look and every skin tone.

Unlike the Elf Palette, the quality of these shadow is held across board, They are very highly pigmented and very easy to blend (which is great if you find the shimmer too harsh). I find myself reaching for this Palette to create three specific looks. The First is a Brown Smoky eye, in which I tend to only use the Rich Brown in the top right hand corner, it is a very nice warm colour which blend amazingly. I often use the Rose Champagne colour second from the left on the bottom row all over my lid to brighten up my eye, and then blend some of the Plum tone in the top right hand corner through my crease. I also use the Pale Champagne Gold colour fourth from the right on the top row to Brighten up my eyes, mainly on a night out.

These shadows can be a little chalky but don't crease at all.

I have swatches all of the Shadows on a Piece of paper so they all have the same base, below. They are arranged are they are seen in the Palettes, with the top 12 being from the Elf Palette and the Bottom 18 From the BYS Palette.

Christmas Treats: A Little Leomany Christmas Wreath

Hello My Dears, Now I know it may be a bit early to do a Christmas treats post, but I really wanted to get this up, and this way you can try it out well before D-Day!

So Here is the recipe for my Favourite Little Lemonany Christmas Wreaths.

Ingredients

1 3/4 Cup Self Raising Flower

1/3 Cup Caster Sugar

60 Grams Butter

1 1/2 Tablespoons Butter

1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence

1 Egg

1/2 cup Icing sugar

1-2 Lemons

First Empty the Flower into a medium Sized Bowl (sturdy), Add the butter, as you can see I have Softened it slightly (not melted) and cut it into small chunks, so its easier to use.

Using you hands, begin to work the butter through the Flour, until it becomes the consistency of Bread Crumbs. This is messy so make sure you wash your hands and are prepared.

After you have finished that, Combine the Caster sugar and the Milk in a Small Saucepan and on a low heat, simmer until all of the sugar has dissolved. This shouldn't take more then a few minutes, and be careful not to burn/caramelise it, that's not right.

Next combine the Sugar/Milk mix with the Bread crumb like mixture, as well as the egg and the Vanilla Essence. Start by mixing it with a spoon, but you will find that it thickens up a lot, at which stage you will need to work the mixture with your hands.

Make a large ball of the mixture and remove it from the bowl, I place a small amount of flour on the board I am about to use to stop it sticking. Next take two small balls of the mixture and roll them in your hands until they are some what even. You will also need to grease a try at this point.

Roll the two Balls out to create two long skinny strings, these need not be even in width, but even in length. Once you have done this, place the bottom tip of the inner strand (the one furthest away from you) on top of the other strand.

Very Gently work the very tip together so that the base it combined and it makes a V shape.

Now on to the fun part. Take the Outter strand (the one closest to you) and place it on the other side of the inner strand.

Place the strand you are holding down on the Board, making something like a right angle( so the wrap is even). Next take the strand closest to you and again place it on the other side of the other strand, continue this on.

Keep working all the way around and you will notice that it will start to take shape.

Now you must join the two edges up to create the Wreath. Take the bottom strand and simply join it to the V shaped section, on the end, working it till its even, then you must take the top strand, and place it across the now joined ends, until it is sitting somewhat in the middle. Gently work the final edge into the middle so it is joined nicely.

Now for the Lemony bit! Combine the Icing sugar and the juice from the lemons in a bowl and mix it with a fork so there are no lumps. Dont worry about pips because they will not be picked up but the Biscuits.

Place the Wreaths on a tray, 5 or 6 on a tray is enough, so they cook evenly. They only need less then 5 minutes (until they are golden) in the oven and 180c. Watch the closely so they don't burn.

Remove the Wreaths from the oven and immediately place them in the lemon juice, one by one, dip both sides in the Glaze, and them place the on a plate to cool. They will need about half and hour to cool completely. (sorry about the burnt bottom, I completely forgot to photograph this part and when I remembered I had slightly burnt the bottom of the only one left.)

Once they are cooled they are ready to eat! This recipe makes around 18 give or take. These are a stunning and delicious Christmas food. Try making them in different sizes for a varied look, stack them up or wrap them up, everyone will love this little treat.

Welcome to My very First Bella Box Post.

For those who don't already know what Bella Box is, think Birch Box, Carmine or Boudoir Prive, and for those who Are still out of the Loop, Where have you been??????

Bella Box is a Monthly Subscription service that allows you to sample 5 high end products and one Lifestyle Product every month for the low price of $15, Including Postage, and the best part is, it's AUSTRALIAN.

Bella box debuted in October with their very first box, which I hear was amazing. The company was also a sponsor of the Spring Racing Carnival and Provided specialised boxes for Guests on the day. And after such a Hyped start, they are back for November and they didn't dissapoint.

This Company is very dedicated to providing a service, not just a purchasing site and so far they seem to be doing what they have promised.

I wasn't lucky enough to get my hands on an October Box, but here's Novembers.

When it first arrived I was so excited, I mean, look at the postage box, its adorable, and the Best thing, its not Black and Pink!

The Pale Blue and Beige was continued into the Actual Box in an alternating pattern, so cute. The box is also amazing quality, so its a keeper.

When I opened up the box, I was delighted to find that it was just as classy on the inside as it had been so far, with a perfectly placed card, that of course matches!

The Information card is thick and sturdy, perfectly printed. The introduction is worth a read to.

Now on to the product information. As you can see, it is perfectly laid out, Easy to read, and in some sort of order. The card is also like to the two Boxes, alternating side to side.

I was surprised that the Tissue Paper was Black, and not on theme with the Beige and Pale Blue, but it did ad drama to to very subtle, yet stylish layout.

And not to skip a beat, they sticker is even perfectly matching, and the edges have been trimmed to fit the borders.

Now for the exciting bit, the Products! Boy they did not dissapoint.

From Left to Right: Gatineau 'Melatogenine Force Collagene', Kenzo 'MadlyKanzo' Perfume, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics 'Lip Tar', Orofluido Hair Oil and Lancome 'Visionnaire'

There was also a Hair band, but I managed to misplace it when trying it out, Its called a Twistband.

The first product I pulled out was the Brightest (of course) and that product was 'Madly Kenzo' Perfume by Kenzo. The bottle of this perfume is stunning, especially for a sample bottle, not to mention its a great size. This perfume has been described on the card as 'A new radiant and daring fragrance, terribly sensual. The scent of a woman who overturns conventions'.

This is s strange fragrance, with notes of Orange Blossom and Vanilla, or so they say. I personally cannot smell any Vanilla or Orange Blossom, Just a strong Incense scent, There are florally notes as well, but nothing noticeable. The fragrance was released in August and was not met with a warm welcome, it has been slandered, and, although I know it is not to everyone's taste, I think some people have been two harsh, it is the sort of fragrance I will be using in summer when its scolding hot and I want something to freshen me up. But not something overwhelming.

Next up is the Gatineau 'Melatogenine Force Collagene' Which is a wrinkle cream, designed to extremely improve the effects of wrinkles. Now I haven't used this and nor will I, but I plan on giving it to my mum to try as im busy enough treating my acne, little own treating wrinkles. But I will update you on this. This perfume is quite pricey, at $87 for 30ml.

The sample size is not very impressive, I believe its 5ml, which is not a substantial sample, but given the fact that it is $150.00 for 30ml, I do understand.

The thing I was most excited about is the OCC Lip Tar in the colour Trollop, which I have been dying to try, and I love it! This is a mix between a lipstick, lip stain and a Gloss, its last for ages, isn't drying and has a great colour pay off. The colour is described by the Bella Box website as a Pink Cranberry Coral, which I think is very close, it is a bold colour, but the undertones of soft coral make it very wearable. The 8ml sample is very generous, given how far it goes, Im looking into purchasing more. These are $16 from the Bella Box website.

Lancome 'Visionnaire', was another very exclusive product to find in this months box. This product is designed to reduce wrinkles, pores and unevenness in the skin. I haven't yet tried this Product but im excited to see if it works its magic on the rather large pores on my nose.

This retails at $115.00 for 30mls so the 5ml is very generous as you have already made your $15 back on this alone.

And this Final High end Product is Orofluido hair oil, which I actually already own, But its always worth it to have some more. I love this product and use it all the time, This has been the saviour of my hair.

The sample is The same size as the other samples I have received in the past, with full sizes, so im happy with this.

Finally in the bottom is a Little Booklet from the Kenzo Brand which talks about the Brand as a whole and their initiative's for the future. It does make for an interesting read.

Updated Skin Care Routine

Recently I decided to Cancel my Subscription to Proactiv for many many reasons, which I will get into another time, so that left me in the awkward position of having No skin care Products. So I Headed out in search of my new Skin care Routine.

Apologies that you can see my kitchen.

So these are the products I decided on.
From Left to Right: The Body Shop Camomile Gentle eye-make up remover, Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser, Innoxa Skin Moist Cleanser, Benzac 5% and Olay Sensitive Moisturising cream.

I have Previously done Posts on The Body Shop eye make up remover (Click HERE) and the Innoxa Skin Moist (Click HERE). And the Olay Moisturiser is just a very good moisturiser that I love!

But the Products I really want to Mention are the Cetaphil Cleanser and Benzac 5%. After deciding to No longer Continue on with the use of Proactiv I was desperate to find something that was going to work for me. So after I was recommended Cetaphil many many times, I gave it a shot. After the first use I noticed less surface oil and that my make up lasted longer in the day, I was so happy. To accompany the Cetaphil I purchased Benzac AC 5% to help clear up any pimples I am still getting. So far it has been doing its job well, I have noticed more scabbing, but I haven't had any scarring, unlike with Proactiv and it seems to just remove all of the oil from the blemish in a matter of hours.

I will be doing a post of Proactiv shortly but I wanted to mention the fact that I have had an extreme backlash since stopping using it, and have Blemishes all around my mouth, so if you want to stop using it, you will break out unfortunately, but it is not any other product that is causing it!

Techinally it is the Play I am currently a personal Dresser for, Being 'The Dixie Swim Club', But before that it was 'The Fiddler on the Roof'.

Nothing, My mum wont let us put things on the Front of the Fridge, so it doesn't get scratched.

Most Likely the Lounge/Dinning/Kitchen because my Parents house is Open Plan, but im moving out in a few months, so my whole appartment!

I don't really eat Quickie Meals at home, I either eat mums Cooking, or I cook, and the only Quickie Meals I have is Take-away (naughty I know), But that's when im in a massive hurry!

Ebay Haul!

So, a little while back I once again fell into the Ebay trap and spent an hour too many surfing for bargains. How ever, this time I was smart about it and gave myself a limit of $5.00 and item, sounds pretty good huh? Well then I was finding things all over the place so I needed to limit myself some more, so I came up with the plan of looking through Jewellery that was under $2.00, Free Postage, and of course But it now (who can wait for auctions these days), so here is the majority of what I got

So in no Particular order (except for the order in which this is written) we have a silver chocker necklace, two dotting tools for my nails, a wooden cross on a faux leather chain, Peacock Feather earrings, a Hamsa Hand Bracelet, a Hamsa Cross Bracelet, Nail polish colour wheels (bargain), House of Harlow Look-a-like Drop Earrings, Patterned Pyramid Earnings, Roman Numeral Hoops, Trio Cross Bangles, Gold and Silver solid bangle and a Look-a-like House of Harlow necklace.

One of my Favourite, and Most worn Pieces is this Silver Chocker necklace (which was I believe $3.00). This necklace goes with almost everything I wear and is very complimentary. The simple design means it can easily be dressed up or down and makes everything look just a little more classy.

Another of my Favourite Pieces are these silver Roman Numeral Hoop earrings, which I have been loving wearing to work. Im not one for hoop earrings, but the added detail make them stunning.

They also sit very nicely on my ears and don't draw too much attention.

Something that surprised me with how much I actually like it, was this world map ring, now this is not the most stable, or best quality ring, but it is really nice. The pendant itself is very small which i like about, and the detail is very nice.

These earrings where the only thing that I actually had wanted before the day, because I had seen similar ones both on TopShop and in Sportsgirl, but I didn't think they were worth the $16.95 price tag, so, when I saw them for $0.98 I almost jumped for joy!

I have developed a crazy obsession with Nail Polish, Nail care and Nail art in the last few months and have wanted to be able to try new things, but I didn't have a dotting tool, so when I saw these two for less then a dollar I was happy to fork out. I also got these Nail Colour wheels, which were less then Two dollars. So keep your eyes open for a Spring Nail Post and a Nail Polish Collection Post with all Swatches in coming months.

After I got my House of Harlow Sunglasses, I was in the mood for that Style, so I went ahead and got Look-al-likes of both a pair of the Earrings and the Statement Necklace.

I particularly love the Necklace with is of reasonable quality (although one of the links has broken). it looks so similar to the HOH one that it almost passes off as it. Just after I got this for a whole $2.00 I found out the Sportsgirl is selling a similar design for $29.99.

The only thing that was inspired by someone else that I got was these Hamsa Bracelets which were inspired by Barbara From ThePersianBabe on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/ThePersianbabe), and I Love wearing these, so cute from summer, and no one in Australia has then!

And Finally, something I never would have Purchased, but I love it, is this Bullet necklace (on a very Ugly Chain), with Bible Writings on it (in another Language), with a giant cross in the middle. I think it is Lovely, I just need another Chain.

Dr Lewinns Revitanail Base Coat (Nail Polish Routine)

Over the last few months I have really gotten into Nail Polish and I have gotten into a pretty good routine of repainting and all that Jazz, but I ran out of my Base coat a while back, and I don't know, I Guess I just didn't repurchase it, or any base coat for that fact. So when I came across Dr Lewinns Base Coat, I thought I would give it a shot.

For those who aren't aware of Dr Lewinns, it is a brand of Skin/Nail care that mainly works on anti-aging. They have there original Revitanail Nail polish which is a clear nail hardener routine that makes your nails healthy and strong, and as someone who used to bite their nails, I can assure you, it works. So when I saw the base coat I wanted to give it a shot, and I have really been loving it. I have most defiantly noticed a difference in the length of time my polish stays on, I have had no stains and my nails feel less brittle when the polish comes off, all good things!

I also wanted to talk Briefly about my nail routine. I normally apply my base coat, then two coats of polish (give or take), then my top coat (just so you know). Hopefully you have read my post on the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat (seem above), but my opinion of this has some what changed since then. At first I loved the effect of this Top coat, and found it help my polish to last, but the more and more I use it, the more I dislike it. hmmm the jury is still out on this.

Revlon Lipsticks (oranges)

So welcome to my first Spring/Summer lip product post. As I have been following the Youtube/blogging scene as well as the trends, I know that the Coral/Orange lip is a MASSIVE trend for this Spring Summer season, so a while back I started to collect a few products that I think are right on trend this season.

I decided I would make this post a Revlon post because not only do I adore there lip products, but I know that Revlon is readily available all over the world and that is far easier for everybody to relate to. So lets get started!

I have four lipsticks to show you today, all Revlon, The First (the one in the Gold tube) is a Revlon Living Lipstick in 'Blase Apricot' (215), for those not aware, these are in fact Revlon's most expensive Lipsticks (RRP is around $26.95 here in Australia). The Second is a Super Lustrous Lipstick in 'Melonade' (180), which has sadly been discontinued for now. The Third is again a Super Lustrous Lipstick in 'Kiss me Coral' (750) and Finally again a Super Lustrous Lipstick in Siren (677). All of the Super Lustrous Lipsticks RRP at around $21.95.

Swatched Left to Right: Blase Apricot, Melonade, Kiss me Coral and Siren.

Blase Apricot is a very nice Colour, being a muted Coral-ly Pink, This is the Perfect colour for someone who is fine with wearing a Bright Bold lip, but is having trouble with the Orange colour and want's to ease into it. This Lipstick is very Creamy and thick, so if you like to be able to feel your lipstick this is for you. I feel like this coulor would suit a lot of people who have more yellow toned skin, but may be slightly harder to pull of for people with rosy undertones.

Next, Melonade is a Slightly more Orange Pink, but still only slightly working its way towards the Coral Trend. The lipstick is a whole lot thinner consistency, and although it is a very pigmented Lipstick, it can be Built up, so for someone who isn't totally comfortable with the Bold lip as of yet, this colour is a great place to start. This colour would work well on all skin tones.

Kiss me Coral is a richer colour then the previous two, being a redy-orange. This Lipstick is perfect for people who want to work their way into the Orange Trend, but they normally wear Reds, so this subtle blend of the two colours will surely help with the transition. This is a very similar to the consistency of Melonade, but is not Build-able in the same way, and can look a little washed out unless fully applied. I feel this colour could work on the majority of skin tones, but may look a little dull on people who have Caucasian Skin, but have a tan, as it may blend in slightly. This colour would look sensational on darker skin tones.

Finally we have the most Orange Of them all, which is Siren. Siren was released a few months back, as apart of Revlon's Spring/Summer lip Campaign. This is a very True Orange-Coral Colour, that is the most on trend now. I feel like this is the Hardest colour to pull off, because it is so Orange toned. People with Fair, yellow under toned skin can pull this off easily, as well as people with Caucasian skin and a tan, as it would really just ad that wow factor. If you have Darker skin tones, but aren't super dark, I would be weary because it may wash you out and that is not something you want in a lipstick.

I thought I would also include two of the Products I like to use in conjunction with these lipsticks. The first is the Revlon Super Lustrous Plumping Gloss in Rosy Pout. The second is the Lanolips coloured lip ointment in Sunshine, which is also stunning.

These colours can be used on there own to just ad that slightly Orange effect, or can be used in conjunction with any of the lipsticks. The Gloss is stunning over any of the Lipsticks to ad a polished look to them, and the Ointment is perfect to have as a lip balm underneath (as it is super hydrating), over the top for a subtle gloss or to help make a sheer coat of the lipstick look a little more finished.

MAC's Lipglass in Pink Lemonade would also work well with any of these lip sticks.

St Ives Soothing Oatmeal and Shea Butter

Recently I have had rather dry skin, I was using my Aveeno Body Butter, but wanted a change, And after I heard Barbara (thepersianbabe) and someone else mention this on Youtube, I thought I would give it a shot. This is a very affordable Product the Retails for around $6.00 which is very good for the amount of product you get. The cream itself is soft and creamy, but not too thick, and not greasy at all. It doesn't take very long to absorb into the skin, so it can be used day and night and leaves a very sheer sheen to the skin. After a few uses my skin was notable softer!

Im not the hugest fan of Shea Butter Scents, but I don't hate this one, it has a very clean element to it. It also has No parabens which other St Ives products do have, so if you are concerned about that, try this on. I am almost out of this tube so im going to repurchase it tomorrow, I might try the Vanilla one! Highly Recommend you give it a shot!

SPLURGE: House of Harlow 1960 Chelsea Sunglasses

About two months back I decided that I wanted to treat myself to one of the things on my Lust List, Now I dont do this very often, but thought it was about time. So after some careful consideration and a great deal of searching for the best deal, I decided on the House Of Harlow 1960 (Nicole Richie) Chelsea Sunglasses.

I wear sunglasses every single day, come Rain, Hail or Shine, but had never considered buying a pair of 'High End' Sunglasses, because, well, I tend to break them, But considering that I wear Sunglasses every day, and i LOVED them I did it.

The Sunglasses them selves are a Black Cat eye sunglass, with the exaggerated edge. They are made of a very thick Plastic, which means they are incredibly stable. All round they are a very good Quality Sunglass. I know the look isn't to everyone's tastes but I love something a little Quirky, and I love big shades! The RRP is $180.00 I think (it may vary from country to country), but I happened to find them in a sale (lucky me), I also cannot remember which website I got them from because it was a while back (sorry)!

Finally this is a picture of me wearing them, sorry its a bad picture, but I wanted to get a quick one up because its better to see sunglasses on, rather then just in images.

VS SASSOON

My Favourite Curler is on its last legs, and I needed a replacement, I wasn't looking for a curler like this (in fact I was looking for a standard 1inch barrel) but my Local Target had a discounted VS Sassoon Curl Magic and I thought, why not.

It is From the Premier Collection Line, so Slightly up market ( haha). It Features a Barrel that decreases in size to create tight, ringlet like curl's.

The Packaging is nice, Black and Silver with red Accents that match the Wand itself. I felt like I was opening a present when I opened the packaging.

I have only used the wand a few times, but I am liking the curl's it creates. I think I will use it to create tight, feminine, Spring curl's (similar to Taylor Swift), in the coming months and then use it to ad a bit of definition to a beachy wave over summer. I do like it but I am still in the market for a 1inch!

ELF

So in recent months (I don't have the exact date), ELF Cosmetics touched down in Australia, and I couldn't wait to try some of there thing. So I waited around to see where I could get it from, and im sure you can imagine my surprise when I found a whole range of ELF in a Chemist very close to where I live (yay).

Now I couldn't Justify Buying a lot of the stuff (plus im getting some more high end things soon), So I was very fussy and only picked up two things, The Elf Essential wet Gloss Brow and Lash Clear Mascara and the Elf Essential Hyerpshine Lip Gloss in Flirt.

The Main reason I was Excited for Elf was for the Brow Setter. I have heard people talk about it time and time again and Really wanted to try it. I fill in my Brows everyday but had never used a setter so i was very interested in the concept. And I love it.

I was a Tad Sceptical at First because I don't love the packaging and the fact that one side is set for Brows and one is for Lashes, But it was only $3.99 so I thought I would give it a go. I first tried it at night (like a seem to do often) and it seemed to hold my brows, but I wasn't totally convinced because I hadn't seen it last all day, but I have used it every day for the last 5 days and I LOVE it. It Holds my Brows in place and keeps the colour fill strong, I just feel like there isn't enough Product.

The other thing I got was the Hypershine Lip Gloss in Flirt. I Originally wanted Some of the Studio Range Matte Lipsticks or the Studio Lip stains, but the Studio Range isn't available at the store, so I thought I would give it a shot.

Flirt, the colour i Chose is a soft baby Pink, that in the tube looks very Pigmented, but unfortunately, they are not. I find this so sheer that it might as well be clear. I think the colour would only be of use over a similar toned lipstick to give it a little extra colour.

The Packaging again is very tacky and dated, but it is a cheap brand so I will let that slide, I also do not like the applicator, it is too time consuming and didn't apply evenly, I would much prefer a doe foot applicator. They smell sweet and Sugary and taste very similar, but I do not like the Taste.

I found that my lips slightly tingled like a plumping gloss and noticed my lips looked slightly fuller, although it says no where that it has any plumping properties, so im not sure what that is about....im very undecided on this brand.

Nail Swatches

So I Finally got my hands on some nail swatch things (for the lack of a better description). So it looks like I will soon be doing Nail swatches for you guys instead of dodgy pictures of the bottle. YAY

For any one interested I got mine of Ebay and paid a whole $1.99 so you can find some really good bargains. The pack I Purchased includes 10 wheels, so I have plenty to tie me over.

Celeb Fashion Crush: Elizabeth Olsen

So she has been around for a little while now, but was previously known as the Olsen Sisters Little sister, with not a whole lot of time spent in the lime light. But now it seems baby sis is having a go at this tough business, and having a shot at not only the acting stakes, having taken a much more 'grown up' approach to acting then her sisters, after graduating from Tisch, but is also making best dressed list every where she goes.

As seen at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Luncheon 2011, she is hitting all the right notes!

She shares so many Features similar to her older sisters, yet has a fresher, less mature, fun look to her, and that shows through in her fun and quirky prints and colours she chooses to work with.

Though she claims she dose not have any interest in Fashion as a lifestyle or a Job, she seems to be working hard and keeping up with Couture, Seen at the Cannes Film Festival in head to toe lace.

Whats not to love? to someone who has enjoyed following Mary Kate and Ashley over the many years they have been around I am rather excited to see what she has instore.

Well I am sitting at my computer contemplating what to post, and I realised that I didn't really feel like posting any of the ideas I have come up with (not to mention that fact that they are not prepared), and I mean, this is meant to be something I like to do, so why not just talk, everyone likes that!

I've been really quite ill lately, I thought I was over it but it just wont go away, so that's not fun! But I have been loving work! Im so glad to get back into the work force, and so happy to be making my own money, I don't know about you but I always feel better when I am earning the money that I spend and when I can save as much or as little as I like! My very first pay day is tomorrow so I will be Picking up some Lay Bys that I have had on for a while (yay) so I will be doing a Mini Lay By haul (I think) oh as well as my Ebay Haul, although some of the things haven't turned up yet.

I have also been thinking about doing like a Nail Polish collection, even though I don't have a whole lot, I think I have a wide range of brands that range from the very affordable to the not so affordable, so keep your eyes out for that.

Nutrimetics: Soul Renewal Review

Hello Everyone, hope your all well. Just before I head out into this beautiful weather we are having here in Victoria I thought I had better get this post up which I have been extremely slow at doing. I would like to introduce you to the Nutrimetics Soul Renewal hand polish.

I Purchased this Product from a Nutrimetics Party my Neighbour threw and have done a post on the other things I Bought, so click HERE for that. And I feel this is the one really exciting Product!

This is a hand scrub that is meant to give you salon perfected hands at home, without the hassle, and the long treatments.

As you can see it comes in a large container with what appears to be not a whole lot of product in it, but in actual fact they up size the container so you can mix in the product as it separates into like a sugar consistency and a thinner watery consistency. So firstly you have to mix it in with a spatula.

When your first open the container it doesn't look very nice at all, it almost looks like a very old nail polish when it has separated and it just not very nice, but on the other had, it smells glorious. To me the scent of this epitomises summer and it just makes me happy. There is a strong Pineapple/Coconut scent which to me smells like Malibu, but if you haven't smelt Malibu, it is also like the Carmella Perfume from Benefit.

Im not sure how well the image is showing up but the second picture is before it has been mixed and the third is after it has been mixed, to a thicker, nicer consistency.

As you can see it is quite thick, and rich in consistency. It reminds me of any old body or hand scrub except for the fact that it contains essential oils that make it much smoother to apply to your hands. The way I use it, as directed on the packaging, it to first mix the separated product together before removing a small amount (as seen above) with my had. I have dry hands. I rub the product all over my hands for 2-3 minutes. I then wash of the remaining product in Luke warm water, and pat dry my hands. it is important not to use hot water as it is not good for the softened skin.

You must also be careful to pat dry your hands, because you are left with a layer of oil that will absorb into the softened skin, and make you hands extremely soft, but if you rub the oils off, you will not get the full result.

As you can see, your hands will look shiny for a while (about 20 minutes for me) and I refrain from touching to many things to give it time, so I would say use the product at night time, before bed.

Lust List: Perfumes

Ok so I have always liked perfume, but was never obsessed, but in recent months, I have lost the plot and am craving scents like there is no tomorrow, but unfortunately I have not been in the right financial state to purchase any, so here is my current perfume lust list:

Dolce and Gabanna 'The One'

This perfume is so similar to to the scent of Orofluido (linked HERE) that I just had to have it. This Scent is Described as

I crave that scent, and sadly it doesn't last very well, so when I first smelt the way that this settled on my skin, I was in love. It is pricey RRP$100, but I think I may be able to fork out on this in the near future, lets hope there is a Fragrance Sale!

Juicy Couture 'Viva La Juicy'

This Scent is Sweet but if applied Lightly is not over powering. It has strong Floral Tones, which settle to a softer blend of Amber and Vanilla. This is very nice Trans-seasonal Scent that Lingers very well, but does not scream with warm or cool weather. The bottle is Stunning and a really nice additive to any collection. This is currently on sale so I believe I shall be picking it up very soon.

Chanel 'Chance Eau Tendre'

This Scent is Described as a light and soft, subtle 'day in the meadow' scent, which is exactly what I need. This scent still has undertones of Amber (which by now im sure you know I LOVE), but in a much gentler way. I really need a summer scent and im hoping this will soon be it.

And Finally

Vera Wang 'Lovestruck'

This is the only scent I haven't had the pleasure of smelling my self, and I know its a little hasty to put a perfume on my lust list when I haven't even smelt it, but I mean come on, just look at the bottle. I am almost tempted to by this just for the bottle, but before you overreact, I love Princess, but haven't purchased it because I felt like something was missing, maybe it was a little sickly for me, or maybe it just want grown up enough, and I think that might be the mix of Pink Guava, Tube Rose and the strong woody base will do for me. I simply cannot wait!

August Favourites

So August was more of a 'get to know' month, where I used products that I had previously purchased in different ways, so I knew there full potential. Sorry if you have seen these products in other recent posts, but they have been what I have been using religiously.

Left to Right: Eco Tools Powder Brush, Revlon Colour Stay Foundation for Normal to Dry skin in Buff, Elnett Satin hairspray by Loreal and Orofluido Hair elixir.

The Eco Tools brush is amazingly soft, and I cannot believe the subtle yet glowing effect it leaves on my skin and the Quality of the Bristles, Highly recommend this brush to anyone. I have been wearing my Revlon Colour stay foundation to work and it has been lasting all day and well into the evening. I am in love with Elnett Hair Spray since trying it, it hold the hair all day without looking like it has hair spray in or being stiff, and it brushes out easily. And to read about the Elixir Click HERE, but i swear this has been keeping my hair healthy and shiny.

BYS Blush in Powder-puff, Savvy by Designer Brands eye shadow Duo in Star Light

This blush is a recent Purchase, and at only $4 who can turn it away, it is the first blush colour I have felt compliments my skin tone perfectly and also works with bronzer, The only problem is the not so nice ingredients. and finally, something that I have posted about many times before, this eye shadow duo I have been wearing every day, the light colour all over the lid, as well as a highlight and the Taupe in my crease, outer corner and up to my brow bone.

Magical Moment

I was just Listening to Lady Gaga's Born this way Album (because I am a fan), and when I got to the last page, which I hadn't read previously and turned it over a whole pile of glitter came whirling out around me from with in the pages, and it was just so amazing, the sun was warm and glowing and the sky was literally sparkling, and as I read on I found the most amazing and sincere dedication i have ever read, so I hope to share the beauty of this message with you all. Im sure most of you are aware of net-a-porter, but for those who aren't, it is a London Based company that sells a large range of high quality designer goods online, and ships internationally, which if that isn't already good enough, they also offer a TV section, runway trends and an awesome returns policy, as well as being courier delivered to your front door, generally in under 48 hours.

Now like most of you I havent purchased from Net-a-porter, because unfortunately I cannot afford they majority of the products on a whim. but I love simply keeping in the loop so that one day soon when that to dye for pair or shoes or that ever faithful bag comes up, I will be able to swoop in and it will be mine.

One Last thing, I LOVE Net-a-porters cover art, it changes consistency and it always so which, and so up to date, that this shot, doesn't it just scream high end autumn star! I mean it doesn't get much better!

Ebay Haul Comming

New Job

Another quick thing. As I hurt my back quite significantly this year, I was unable to work for a few months, but i have very recently got back into the work force and am very much enjoying it!

I am working in a Chemist (or Pharmacy, or Drug store) in my home town until I make the big move to Melbourne in a few months. So far I really like working there, but bare in mind that I do work and that is why i may also be a bit slow posting.

Oh and at work we have almost the full range of Revlon make up which means I get to play with what ever i feel like!
