New Beaded Cabochons

We have a new range of unique jewellery creations - the Beaded Cabochon.

The word Cabochon comes from the French word caboche meaning a small knob or dome. Cabochons are genuine gemstones, synthetic stones or other created material that are cut into a small shape, sometimes oval, sometimes, teardrop, sometimes just freeform! Cabochons come in smooth finishes (the usual) or in facetted which are stunning!

Our beaded cabochons are all hand made starting with the central focal piece - in this case the cabochon. A bezel of beads holds the stone in place nestling softly into its backing of leatherette so that the piece is easily cleaned. The dramatic enhancements are then added to compliment the stone.

Our necklaces have a matching necklace and are packed into black velveteen gift boxes - just right for a gift or to keep.

As with most of our designs, these are not repeatable and are one of a kind - so act quickly we cannot repeat the design.

Beaded Kilt Pin

I've loved making these beaded kilt pins - they are just so versatile! I wear mine on my pashmina scarves - they add such a splash of color, to pin my cardigan together AND over my handbag strap so the beads cascade around my bag - cool!.

The pin itself is 7.5 cm in length, is silver in colour and contains silver chain festooned with glass beads and a stone cabochon.
