My Current Favorite Makeup Remover: Bioderma Micellar Water

I was previously using the Bifesta sebum cleansing lotion, a Japanese brand which I have learned in the posts of beauty bloggers I follow. I liked this cleansing and makeup removing product as this really removes stubborn makeup, even the waterproof mascara on my eyelashes. As seen below, I have emptied my bottle :)

However, it is not so friendly with my eyes. I feel a slight stinging whenever I use this. My sister also uses whatever skincare products I use and Bifesta cleansing lotion irritates her face.

I still used this until I emptied the bottle but swore to research for a product that won't sting my eyes and is for sensitive skin.

Bioderma Crealiné H2O

So I was introduced to Bioderma Crealiné H2O, which a lot of people with sensitive skin raves about.

Ingredients in French (?!)

According to Bioderma's website, this product is a cleansing and make-up removing water that respects the fragility of sensitive skin.

This is included in the products that I requested for my sister to buy in Paris. 2 lots/bundle (5ooml) costs €17.99 or around PHP500 each.

I have been using this product every night for 3 months now and I can say that it's worth raving about! I don't feel any stinging on my eyes and it doesn't irritate mine nor my sister's skin. Its cleansing power is impressive as well! For waterproof mascara, you just need to let the cotton pad with Bioderma sit on your eyelashes (of course you need to close your eyes while doing this :p) for about 5 seconds and the mascara on my lashes can now be easily removed! Though I still prefer to use my Banila Co Clean It Zero makeup remover on waterproof mascaras.

I use my favorite Cuddles round facial cotton pad to clean my face with Bioderma. It is sturdier than a regular cotton ball or a cotton square.

OMG I'm out of it! Need to buy a new one!

My sister just bought two bottles of this, and yes I'm panicking! I am considering transferring my Bioderma to a spray bottle since its original flask dispenses too much. What do you think?

You can also avail Bioderma Micellar Water at Watson's (Saw it at SM Aura branch around Php1,300+). Though I am uncertain if this is available in all branches. They also sell other french skincare products there.

My sister just got me some skin care products (got me means bought for me = not free haha) from... PARIS! I got really excited when she said that after her business trip in U.K., she and mom will be travelling to Paris and Italy (to visit my cousins as well). I got excited not because of the Eiffel tower (though yes partly, okay yes it's one of the reasons), but because of the skin care products!

We all know that Paris is a haven when it comes to skin care products. I also remember that my derma mostly suggests/recommends skin care brands made in Paris. This is because they make products with subtle/non-irritant ingredients which are great for those who have a sensitive skin like mine.

First, let me show you the skin care products I requested my sister to buy in Paris

These are available if not, in every Pharmacy in the city! Could you believe that?? You can get it at a much lower price and even cheaper in lots. While here in Manila, they sell it like a luxurious product (crazy isn't it?).

Next are the liquid lipsticks. Liquid lipsticks are a hit last year so I tried and bought the most raved brand which is LASplash. The staying power, I can say is really great. However, I didn't like the paint-like smell of it and the very drying formula on my lips.

So I wanted to try the brands Ofra and Colourpop which beauty gurus have also raved upon. Good thing my colleague was in the US so I was able to order the favorites -- Ofra Pasadena and Laguna beach and a Colourpop Tulle which was given to me by my boss. All I have yet to try.

I also bought the new Anastasia Beverly Hills brow definer in Chocolate.

And last but not the least, I bought Nars' audacious lipsticks and radiant creamy concealers here in Manila.

I will try these little babies and post my reviews soon! :)

Heya! It's been a while since I purchased a nail polish and posted a write-up (Lol! I know I got busy!). I missed you all! :(

Anyways, I have been eyeing the polish brand Zoya for a long time. Zoya claims that their nail polishes are long-wearing and toxin-free (organic) such that it is suitable even for pregnant women. Since organic nail polish is new to me, I got more intrigued and enticed to try it!

I checked out the website of the nail polish online store I am following in Instagram, polishplease, who sells Zoya nail polishes. Well not just Zoya but they have extensive nail polish brands that you will surely love!

I sighted their new arrival Zoya collection, the Naturel Satins. And oh boy, I got easily drawn and hit the purchase button immediately! I only got the minis though since I’ve never expended a regular bottle of nail polish (based on experience).

I was enticed by this collection because of its neutral shades! And according to Zoya, the formula is a hybrid between matte and glossy polishes and is not intended to be worn with a top coat.

I used natural lighting for all the photos.

Two coats are better. This color looks very feminine and it reminds me of cotton candy! :p

Brittany can be streaky on 1 coat. Application is not that easy though I think the color is nice.

Very Opaque/thick in 2 coats.

Tove is very easy to apply and has one of the creamiest consistency.
It looks gray for me.

This color is kinda tricky. First swatch goes sheer/watery then goes very opaque on second application. Sage also applies smoothly.

The finish of these polishes is satin (in between matte and glossy). Though some might think that it's odd. However, for me I like it as I am not quite into glossy/frosted finish.

Be also mindful in applying if you do not intend to put any top coat as this might get a bit streaky even though consistency is creamy (you can opt to put a top coat if you like).

Nonetheless, colors are very pretty, has creamy consistency and formula is quick drying [which I really love!]. It dries in about 2-3 minutes.

Packaging wise, I can say that it is sturdy as the glass is very thick and it is also frosted. Not sure what are the benefits of a frosted glass but, I like the look of it! It has a good quality brush applicator. I did not have any difficulty applying the polish.

Marc Jacobs' Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Lacquer review

When my favorite nail polish blogger (not just a blogger but also a columnist in one of Philippines' top newspapers and a great writer too!), Pam Pastor (www.polishpolice.com), posted a blog about Marc Jacobs' first line of nail polish, I was going ga-ga while reading because the colors were really beautiful and that I wanted to buy them all!

Luckily, my boss was in the US for a business trip! I took the courage to ask her if I can order online at Sephora, deliver it to our US office and bring it with her to Manila. She then said YES. I was so excited to get my hands on these beautiful babies!!!

Then I finally have it! I decided to get the two colors that I like from the first line which are the Fluorescent Beige and Evelyn.

They come in a cute small packaging which is looks like a square with smooth sides.

FLUORESCENT BEIGE

Fluorescent Beige is described as iridescent light mauve pink. I put 2 coats on my nails below. It was love at first sight! It reminds me of weddings (since this is a great nail polish color to use for a wedding!) :)

I thought I was able to take a picture of me wearing Evelyn, but unfortunately I can't find any. Picture of it to follow. :P

Evelyn is described as opaque smoky gray. You can also wear this if you are feeling confident. I don't know why but dark and bold colors makes me feel one. :p

For the application brush, I am not that happy with it since I find that it has a tendency to shed. Though the application of the polish itself is quite smooth.

I bought these bottles for $18 each in Sephora's website.

Ever worry on how to remove stubborn make up after a party or an event?

Let me share with you my current favorite make up remover for stubborn make ups and routine before going to bed :)

POND'S Perfect Care Cold Cream Deep Cleanser

Pond's perfect care cold cream was the best makeup remover I have ever discovered! My sister used to bring home packages from her office including other products of the company she is in and Pond's products are one of those. I cannot remember how I started using this but because I have a curious mind, I tried this one time to remove my make up and I loved it!

Price: Free

Consistency: This is a basic cream but when applied on face, it gets oily.

Pros: It removes stubborn makeup

Cons: Oily when applied but you can always remove it with tissue and wash it off. My skin didn't get oily at all after.

Here's my routine in removing makeup using Pond's perfect care cold cream:

I applied black eyeshadow heavily all over my lids and crease to better test the product

As what the label reads, "apply pea-sized amounts" on your forehead, cheeks and chin.
Spread and massage gently over your face and neck.

I use cotton for sensitive parts of my face like my eyes :)

right eye makeup removed!

a pea-size amount on your forehead...

On your cheeks and massage all over your face

Remove it all with a tissue

Tried it also on my lips

Yes, I know it's gross!

Voila! All stubborn makeup removed instantly!

After which, I wash my face with Cetaphil and put my Kiehl's moisturizer before sleeping

My Favorite Lipsticks

Hello ladies! At last another blog post! It was actually a year before I get to post a new one. Yes I know it has been a long time :) I have bought and used many products during the past year. Some of those products were already used up but I will really try my best to catch up by posting it and reviewing some of them.

In this post I will be showing you my favorite lippies! In my past blog posts, you can always see nail polishes in it and never or if there are any, just few lip products. Why? Because I am not really a "lipstick" person and I don't wear lipstick everyday. I just wear a lipstick if I am not lazy and if there are occasions that I need or will attend.

There was a time that I got addicted to lipsticks, I can't remember where I got the addiction but my favorite brands back then were Chanel and MAC lipsticks. I actually liked Tom Ford and YSL but they are not available here in Manila. Some of those are results of impulsive buying that was why after a few swipes I realized that some of it really didn't have an appeal on me or it didn't suit my skin tone. Let's get started!

Let us start with Chanel Rouge Coco in Mademoiselle 05

Mademoiselle is a medium pink with a brown undertone to it. This lipstick does not have any shimmer but just a very slight sheen on it. It is very pigmented and it applies smoothly and richly on lips. I can say that it is also lightweight when wearing it. It doesn't bleed and can last up to 4 hours.

The sales lady in Rustan's also told me that this is one of Chanel's best seller, which I have also researched before I bought one. In my opinion, this shade will suit any skin tone. This color will pop more to those who have fair skin complexions.

I cannot remember the price of this but I think I bought this for Php1,450 in a trusted online shop.

Next in my favorites is the MAC Lustre in Lovelorn

Lovelorn is a sheer blue-based pink lipstick that has a glossy sheen. It is not heavy nor opaque, instead they give a slick of shiny, glossy color that works alongside the color of your lips. It is very easy to apply, it glides smoothly on my lips. This also doesn't need any lip liner as it can be a wonderful everyday lipstick. It lasts for about 2-3 hours on me depending on if I am eating or drinking.

I can say that this suits most skin tones. I bought this for Php1,000 in MAC at Rustan's Makati.

Next is the MAC Satin in Pink Nouveau (I can't find mine right now so I posted a photo of Emma Stone wearing it. Lol.)

Pink Nouveau is one of MAC's best-seller in lipsticks. It is a cool-toned, blue-based light-medium pink. For me, it is more of a barbie pink or a cotton candy pink. It has opaque color coverage and a creamy finish with a noticeable shine. It has a satin finish. I was really never into popping pink shades but I was curious if this will look good on me that's why I bought this.

At first, I thought it will just look good on mestizas because they will look more barbie-ish. When I applied it, I have a dilemma of using this in a long time because of that serious shocking pink. But in time, I was able to use this in events or parties that I attend. Nevertheless, it became my favorite as well but just when there are occasions. :)

I bought this for Php1,000 in MAC at Rustan's Makati.

The next in my favorites is the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Montecarlo 62

Montecarlo is really one of my favorite Chanel lipsticks ever. It is a semi-sheer pinky red with a subtle pink shimmer on it. It is very lightweight and has a high shine and moisturizing formula. This applies smoothly and evenly, like a lip balm. It lasts a little bit shorter on my lips but definitely can be an everyday lipstick (though it's expensive to be an everyday one!). I can recommend this to ladies who likes watermelon-ish shades, or those who likes subtle red and pink shades.

I bought this at Rustan's Makati for Php1,650

For Reds, one of my favorites is MAC Russian Red

Russian Red is one of MAC's top seller in lipsticks. It is a medium-dark red with neutral undertones which means it suits any skintones. It has a matte finish. This lipstick wears around six hours on me and will definitely stain. Though I have a hard time swiping this on my lips as it is really matte.

Since my lips are prone to drying and flaking, I don't use much of matte lipsticks. I wear this only if I have parties to attend. But this color really looks great especially for those who have fair skin complexions. This is my pin-up girl type of lipstick and if I am too lazy to put on make up, I just swipe this on my lips and voila! I look elegant and glamour-ish!

The other Red that I have on my stash is Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in La Fascinante 38

La Fascinante is a matte blue-based red lipstick. Personally I love La Fascinante and I think it's a great red lipstick to invest in. The one I bought is the reformulated Rouge Allure Velvet. It's not very drying anymore and I can already feel that it's moisturizing my lips. It is also not difficult to swipe on your lips.

If I can remember well, my sister bought this for me in Singapore so I am not sure how much it is here.

Last but not the least is Sephora's Color Lip Last in Wanted Red 20

Wanted Red is a high-coverage pigmented matte dark red lipstick. It's texture is ultra-thin, feels light and smudge-proof. It actually stains on your lips if you remove it (nice isn't it?!). It is surprisingly very easy and smooth to apply knowing that it's a matte lipstick! It also has a candy-like smell. I stopped myself from almost eating it!!! haha! Kidding :)

This was a "pasalubong" of my boss from the US and I instantly fell in love with it with just a swipe! It actually beats my MAC Russian Red in terms of application. I would like to try other colors as well. I can describe this as a cabaret red lipstick! Highly recommended!

P.S. It is recommended to use a lip brush for the Red lipsticks so that you can have a perfect application.

So there you go, these are my current favorite lipsticks. This list can change in time though :)

Makeup Review: Makeupforever High Definition Foundation

Back then, I always drop-by the Makeupforever or MUFE store in Bonifacio highstreet when it opened and check-out their makeup line and the prices as well. And yes I would love to try out their products because of great reviews, but unfortunately I was too hesitant to buy again because it's too expensive same as bobbi brown's prices. But then again because Marie Digby (my favorite youtube musician) has just been launched as the new ambassador of MUFE Philippines, I bought some of their products. One of the factors why I bought MUFE products is because Marie Digby's skin is not breaking out when using it, that means that it's good for those who have sensitive skins like her and another is that because all of their products that day was on SALE up to 30% off that's why I grab the chance to buy.

Product: HD Invisible Cover Foundation

Description: The HD foundation is an oil-free medium to full coverage liquid foundation which covers skin imperfection, while remaining invisible on-screen and in real life. Its extremely fine texture is supple and easy to apply. Enriched with moisturizing agents, it leaves the skin soft and radiant.

My verdict:

I am a shade 120 (Soft Sand) for this foundation. Good thing about this is that it has a wide range of shades! From the lightest to the darkest complexioned person I can say can find her shade in this foundation. Well for those of you who has seen Marie Digby, who has really a snow white-y complexion has her shade in MUFE's foundations. The packaging is a bit bulky to put in a vanity kit. I love that it has a pump which is very hygienic and controllable on how much you just want to dispense. I use this foundation everyday because of its buildable coverage and it doesn't even feel heavy on my face like I am not wearing any.

And now let's check MUFE's description:

1. Oil-free: I put this on every morning before going to work. Well, I can say that its coverage lasted until lunch time without using a primer. But when you put on a primer, it can last up to 8-9 hours. I used it last Christmas and I was impressed it lasted long! þ

2. Medium to Full coverage: As what I have said earlier, it has a buildable coverage. It covers my imperfection with just a light coverage. þ

3. Invisible on-screen and real life: This is the distinguishing feature of this foundation. I love that it's invisible on photos as well as in real life! Not unlike other foundations, you can sometimes see in the photo that your face looks very white. With this foundation, your face will look very flawless both in photos and in real life. þ

4. Extremely fine texture, supple and easy to apply: The first time I dispensed a few on the back of my hand and applied it on my face it's so smooth, very fine and yes, easy to apply! After applying it on my face, it didn't look very dry/matte, instead it looked supple but not oily. þ

5. Leaves the skin soft and radiant: After applying this foundation, my skin stays soft and looked glowing. þ

All in all, I can say that I found my Holy Grail liquid foundation! I will definitely repurchase this! :) How about you? Have you tried MUFE's HD foundation? I would love to know your opinion/review about it.

Nail Polish Review: Chanel Le Vernis in Paradoxal

Yes I know that I am so behind having and using this Nail polish! When Chanel Paradoxal was launched, many nail polish lovers were raving about it. How creamy and smoothly it glides when you put it on your nails, how good the color is and it's great quality. When I saw these great reviews and photos, I knew it was love at first sight! I immediately searched it in Rustan's department store in Makati and not to my surprise, it was sold out. The sales lady told me that many were pre-reserved already when it arrived here in the Philippines, that is why I can say that many Filipinas are nail polish addicts. I was also a bit hesitant to buy it because of its way too expensive price! So I let the season (oh it's a year, haha) passed and now I already gave in with Chanel Le Vernis.

Product Name: Chanel Le Vernis in Paradoxal

Description: Deep taupe-y gray with an undercurrent of purple shimmer

Purchased from: Rustan's Makati

Price: 1,350 php

Pros:

-Creamy/buttery application

-One to two coats is enough

-Color is oh so gorgeous! Shimmers under the sun!

-Very glossy even w/o top coat

-Long wearing, doesn't chip easily (took 1 week before it chips but just at the end part of my nails)

Cons:

-Too expensive for a nail polish

-Limited stocks as it's always out of stock

Chanel Le Vernis is really worth buying! Now I know why designer nail polishes are expensive. Has anyone of you tried a Chanel nail polish? I would love to hear your opinions about it. Or if you have questions regarding the said product, I will gladly try to answer it. =)

Hi everyone! Today's blog post will be about Nail polishes. :) You know how much i love collecting and using nail polishes in different colors that suits my skin complexion. Well, i don't really buy nail polishes that I cannot wear (doesn't look good on me) or just for the sake of collecting it. I've just noticed that December 2011 is the month I bought nail polishes the most! I just usually buy one to two a month. I don't know what slipped into my mind but I've seen a lot of gorgeous polishes this month that I can't resist buying them!

Here's what I bought this month of December:

From left to right:

1. OPI Warm & Fozzie - a feel good shade of metallic copper, a perfectly autumnal hue tinged with gold flecks;

2. OPI Excuse Moi! - pink shade filled with tiny flecks of silver, pink glitter and micro multi-colored glitter pieces

3. Orly Fowl Play - deep purple jelly based with a myriad of multi-color flakes and silver micro glitters;

4. Orly Au Champagne - snowy white shimmer;

5. Chanel Paradoxal - deep taupe-y gray with an undercurrent of purple shimmer (eggplant's color);

6. Chanel Particuliére - gray taupe creme (like a mushroom)

7. Dior Purple Mix - dusty warm purple with a hint of pink;

8. Dior Nirvana - dusty vibrant greenish-blue;

9. Orly Calcium Shield - base coat

10. Orly Sec 'N Dry - fast drying top coat (i soooo love this!)

The first four are actually glittery polishes, I was thinking that it would be great colors for Christmas. Then it is my pleasure to tell you that I already gave in for Chanel and Dior polishes which are a bit expensive. Before, i was really hesitant buying a designer polish because it is too expensive but when I got these pretty little bottles, I am sure that I did not regret buying them. You will know in my next blog post why. Then the last two bottles are base coat and top coat from Orly.

I have not used the OPI polishes and Diors yet but I'm really excited to try them on! So how about you? What nail polishes did you buy or tried on this Christmas season? I would love to know it! Just share it in the comments section below :)

Makeups & Perfumes from Singapore

Hello everyone! I just came back from our 5-day Singapore trip last night! and I can say that I had a good time! :) Before I went back here in PH, I shopped for some perfumes and make ups since it's cheaper there than buying here.

There is a store in Farrer Park (mrt - purple station) that sells bargain perfumes! It is called Mustafa Centre - also known as Mustafa Singapore to many tourists. The popularity of Mustafa shopping lies in its prices and wide range of products. It is also one of the first shopping center to open 24 hours a day. Their perfumes are all 100% original. One of the sales man there, who is a pinoy, told me that their perfumes are cheaper than the malls' & the airport because they buy it wholesale.

*Yes, I do love perfumes!!! Perfume-holic! LOL. :))

Salvatore Ferragamo Incanto Shine (100 ML)

My Verdict:

I was finding a tinted moisturizer lip balm a long time now, and voila! I found it at Clinique! This is really an awesome lip balm, it has a moisturizing effect to prevent dry lips, fragrance free, has a long-lasting tint (if you are not really a fan of lipsticks like me). It is a big one, so it will really last for maybe 2 months. Highly recommended product :)

I would also like to try other shades of this. It can be an alternative to lipstick. :)

Hello Beauties! I know it has been long since I posted a blog, and I apologize about that :) Been caught up with work load!

So here we go...

Last week, I was browsing my favorite beauty bloggers blog and stumbled upon Shen's Clinique party post. It says there that she was contacted by Clinique to invite her followers and beauty bloggers as well to come for a one day beauty event with them; to talk about skin care, make up and everything related to skin. Shen's way of inviting was the first 12 girls to post their comments about their skin and why do they wish to be included in the party. So I commented right away because I would really want to join the party and talk and know more about skin care.

After 1 week, I received an e-mail from Shen inviting me to her Clinique party! I was very excited since that was my very first time to attend a beauty event.

So there, Saturday, August 20, 2011 came. I still went to the office in the morning to do some errands (interview of an applicant with our US team) then went home at around 10:30am. I took a nap first so that I will not feel very tired at the beauty event. Guess what? I woke up late!!! Oh well, I woke up at 1:00pm and I only had 30mins. to prepare! So I prep myself quickly and good thing dad take me to rustan's :) I was running late, arrived there at 2:10pm. Most of the girls were already there and actually I was a bit shy at first. Lol.

Shen saw me and greeted me warmly (She was so nice and accommodating) and introduced me to Mira of Clinique Philippines. She's accommodating as well and pretty! Eventually, I already talked to the girls invited to the event as well (there comes my talkative part!). We share skin care tips, make ups, and everything about beauty! We also had our skin consultation with Clinique's skin care specialists, Dindin and Malou and also our Make overs!

We also took a lot of pictures (I mean them because I didn't bring my digicam -_-) and pictures again. Lol! So there it was really an amazing experience knowing about your skin and also making some new friends!

Thanks again to Shen and to the Clinique Philippines! :)

At last! After two months, my aunt and cousin are back from the states! I was so excited for the things that they bought for me *wink. They bought Nail Polishes (yes I am a nail polish addict), Bags (again, my sister and I are bagaholics), and a JBL ipod dock (love love love music!).

My initial goal was to buy an optical mouse because I accidentally bumped the Usb of my beloved retractable G-cube mouse into a wall (stupid wall! haha). I really tried my very best to fix it but sadly, it's really not working anymore! So anyway, I was hunting for a new mouse, then I passed by a gadget store and saw an ipod touch 4th gen leather case for my Dad. My feet dragged me to the store (no not literally! :p) and I can't do anything to back out. I was hesitating to buy one because it's expensive (P1,090.00), but since it's for my Dad, I bought it -_-

After which, I went to Electronics Boutique to find a mouse I've been originally looking for. Unfortunately, I didn't find a small and cute one (I saw a G-cube but I don't want to buy from that brand anymore) instead, I saw WD external hard drives which I was lemming for a long time. I hesitated to buy before because I find the price expensive but seeing it's new marked-down price made me decide to buy. I was originally opting for a black one but unfortunately they don't have a stock anymore. So I just chose between metallic silver and white. And of course, the White won :)

I just need to buy the case for it so it will not get scratches. Yes, I am very protective of my gadgets :p

YSL inspired manicure

Hey guys! It's been a while since I posted a nail polish blog. So here I am excited to share one!

As I was browsing the net for different brands of nail polishes, I've stumbled upon this very adorable, simple yet elegant Fall Nail Polish Trend from YSL.

As what I know, the price of a YSL nail polish is about 1,250 php. Well, I do want to have one for sure (if it will be given to me as a gift, lol.!) but I think it is really expensive for just one nail polish.

Because I was exhilarated with this photos, I have created my own YSL-inspired manicure art which is really easy to make.

For this manicure, I used:

Caronia nail hardener & base coat
O.P.I. Russian Navy
L.A. Colors NP 175 silver glitter
Caronia fast-dry top coat

First, I applied Caronia's base coat. It is necessary to put one for promoting healthier nails, and ensuring easier application. After which, I coated the O.P.I. Russian navy twice. Wait for it to dry before applying L.A. Colors silver glitter as a french tip. Lastly, apply Caronia's fast-dry top coat. It is important to use a top coat to protect your manicure from scratches, dings, and chip and it make the nails appear shinier and glossier.

So that's it, fast and easy!

My first ever pair of Stella Luna

Hello my beautiful Ladies!

I went at Megatent outlet sale last sunday, September 26th and guess what I got??? A pair of Stella Luna pumps!!! And the good thing is that I just bought it for 1,999 php, isn't that a good deal?! (Yes, I am excited to share this one lol.) The original price was 4,950 php and it dropped to more than half of its original price. I also love their elegant shoebox design! A simple white box which read: How to marry a millionaire.

There are a lot of Stella Luna shoes to choose from, but the thing is most of them have really high heels, which is Stella Luna is famous for. I really adore their pumps since I've known the brand, but their shoes are too expensive, well for me. So when I stumbled upon their booth at the megatent outlet sale, I was really shocked that their shoe prices are more than half of its original prices! By the way, the shoes there are Stella Luna's previous styles which are currently not sold anymore at their stores (which is I like since most of their previous styles are their gorgeous pumps!)

The Sale ended at the day I went there, so I wonder on what event the sellers of Stella Luna at the megatent goes next so that I can share it to my fellow shoesaholics. Hmm...

Saturday Shopping! (Mega trade hall, Payless shoe source and Forever 21)

What's up girls?

After gazillion years, I'm posting a blog again! lol. Oh well, I admit I've been busy lately and a bit lazy to post a new blog (sorry for that, no inspiration or exciting things to share that time!). Alright let's start this exciting shopping experience!

I think about last week, I saw at a newspaper that there will be a mega shoes and bags sale at SM Megamall's mega trade hall (crocs, cole haan, ipanema, nike, adidas, gola, samsonite, delsey, etc.), August 26-30, 2010. I was lemming on a pair of crocs wedge then that I've seen on their store. It's too expensive though (2,800+k) so I was hoping that it will be included on the crocs' sale. So yesterday, my sister, mom and me went to SM Megamall to shop.

We arrived there at exactly 10am, so the parking was really not crowded yet. First, I went straight to crocs to see if the wedge I've been lemming for is there.

Unfortunately, it's not included on the sale items! The Sale items were a bit outdated. I think you cannot see those on their store already. There were cute crocs for kids on sale though.

After the disappointment, I searched right away for the ipanema items. People were racing to get as much ipanema items they can! The Ipanema thong slippers ranged from 400php to 500php while the sandals (gisele bundchen collection) were about 650php to 800php. I just bought one though because I will still buy a rubber shoes.

The last thing I bought was a rubber shoes for running since the sole of my current one is already ripped. I was choosing between the white nike rubber shoes or the black adidas.

I decided to buy the black Adidas for 2,446 pesos. It looks big in the picture but it's not, I promise! It looks spiderman-ish though! Actually, I often wear rubber shoes. I prefer wearing slippers and sandals so that my feet can breathe! I just bought this for fun runs and for jogging purposes. ;)

After shopping at the mega trade hall, we decided to eat first because it's lunch already and our stomachs were rumbling like nuts!

We went straight to Payless shoe source after that. The store just had their opening last August 27, 2010. The shoes are so nice yet affordable! What I like about their store is that the shoes are organized by size!

I love their line of flat shoes! They are sooooo cute! I bought a black flat shoes with a knot in the middle. I also saw a yellow striped flat shoes with a flower in the middle but unfortunately I wasn't able to take a picture of it (it's a bit crowded inside the store!).

Next stop, Forever21. The store is soooo BIG and unfortunately VERY crowded! My friend told me that It's always crowded there every weekend (so maybe I'll probably go back on a weekday??). The items they are selling are all gorgeous and cute! The only problem is that, because the store is so huge, I haven't had the chance to go around and check each of the enormous collections of clothes. These are some pictures of clothes and accessories.

I know, pictures are too many. lol. So there you go! This was a tiring but fulfilling experience. My advice, go to SM Megamall at exactly 10am (which is the mall's opening) so that you can avoid the traffic and you can park easily.

My Top Favorite Drinks

Hello Gorgeous Ladies!

Yes I know, this would be a different blog post. Well, I have already told you that I really love eating! I have eaten in almost all of Serendra, Bonifacio High Street and Greenbelt Restaurants for the love of food. I like trying out different kinds of food, thai, persian, american, european, italian, korean, chinese, japanese etc. But this blog post would be more of "top favorite drinks". So let's get started!

Bubba Gump's Strawberry Speckled Lemonade

What: This is a refreshing beverage which is basically a lemonade drink showered with hints of strawberry flavors and textured by the crushed fruit and its small seeds. It is so good! =)

Price: P125.00 per glass - it is a big glass, so better not worry if this will be enough until the last bite of your meal.

Italianni's Fresh Grapes Shake

What: This is also a refreshing beverage which is made of shaken fresh Grapes and crushed ice! If only I can order a pitcher of this! I think it is not available in pitcher though.

Price: P140 per glass - the glass is not that wide but it's tall. I don't know, but it's just exact for me.

Fish&Co.'s Big fish drink in Pineapple Lychee (can't remember the name)

What: It is a Pineapple Lychee thirst quencher served in gigantic mugs (or I must say pitcher?!). I really love the combination of this two fruits, it is so good!!! I can finish the whole mug!

Review: Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer Spf 20

Heya Beautiful Ladies!

Just yesterday, I have decided to buy Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer which I was eyeing for a long time! Back then, when I bought my clinique face powder at rustan's makati, I also checked out Laura Mercier's to ask the price of their best selling tinted moisturizer. I don't know if I heard the sales lady wrong, but I heard she said that it's 800php. So I was really surprised because I thought it was 2k plus since it costs 42usd at Laura Mercier's us website.

So when I got back yesterday (since it was payday last friday), I went to Laura Mercier's at rustan's makati and asked the price again since I am really decided to buy it (well, i thought it was just 800php!!!). Then when I got there, I've found out that it's real price is P1,850.00 (holy cow! That sales lady is dead to me!!! Or maybe I was just deaf?!). *it makes my face looks really smooth

*long wearing (my face didn't get oily the whole day)

*not greasy

*with spf20

*classy-looking packaging

Cons:

*expensive for everyday use!

My Verdict:

I am so in-love with this product so I highly recommend this one even for asians like me! It makes my skin looks smooth and it evens out my skintone (since I have spider veins on my face). It also has an spf20 for those who are always exposed to the rays of sun. It's kinda expensive but it's definitely worth buying! =D

Heya Gorgeous Ladies!

Yes i know, i'm such an indolent blogger! Pardon me for the review's delay, I just had a busy week of work. So let's get to the business!

So here's my quick review:

Product Name: Clinique Superpowder Double Face Powder

Shade: Natural

Purchased from: Rustan's Makati

Current price: P1,700.00

The Packaging:

Light green, square compact that flips open via a silver button to the front of it that has Clinique inscribed into it. Open the compact up and to the top of it you have a large good quality square mirror and to the bottom of it the powder compact is large, round and pressed with a sponge applicator. I really liked this grown up looking compact and liked the marble effect it has to it, giving it a nice classy look.

PROS:

*silky powder

*goes on smooth

*unscented

*good coverage

*light weight

*doesn't clog the skin

CONS:

*not as longwearing for oily skins (i need to re-apply it 3 times)

*maybe a little pricey?

-I will recommend this product if you're just looking for a normal powder with a bit good coverage.
