Every year, we invite 100 elderly folks to come together for a reunion lunch at Mambao — a simple gathering filled with warmth, companionship, and festive cheer. 🧧🍽️

For many of them, this may be the only reunion meal they get to enjoy during Chinese New Year.

This year’s estimated expenses:

🍱 Buffet lunch for 100 elderly: RM3,500
🤝 Meals for 20 volunteers: RM700
🪑 Tables & chairs rental (12 tables, 120 chairs): RM250
🎁 CNY goodies bags for 100 elderly (RM50 per person): RM5,000

“I have dialysis three times a week. I haven’t been able to properly plan for the New Year in a long time. It’s not that I don’t want to — but medical expenses always come first.”

These words were softly spoken by a dialysis patient. No complaints. Only quiet helplessness. For many of us, the New Year means reunion, hope, and celebration.

But for dialysis patients, the New Year is often just a reminder —
Tomorrow, the treatment must continue.

That is why Lovic Enterprise, in conjunction with #NSCMH Dialysis Centre, is organizing the 2026 New Year Charity Bazaar.

We would like to share about Lee, an individual who is just 31, is already receiving dialysis, has diabetes, is blind, and is receiving dialysis under SOCSO, but still needs more than RM450 per month for further injections, etc. Gov RM300 is what he has for OKU. (We have the OKU card copy, but not to be displayed.)

He currently rents a house for RM700 and lives with his brother, who makes RM1800 basic. His brother's dialysis costs are beyond his means; hence, we are sharing this story for those who would like to support him.

Support Needed : Sai Pandian Orphanage Children's Home (Setia Alam)

This centre has 26 children and 1 older person living together. The home manager, Sai Pandian, has been taking care of the neglected children who come from various backgrounds. The fantastic thing about these children is that all of them go to school.

Sai Pandian’s main focus is to provide a comfortable space, healthy meals and education for the children. He strives to make all his children have a good heart and be educated. This will enable them to stand on their feet.

Food & Medical Bank Project: Fourth Round of Supplies for the Underprivileged (RM200 per person)

We are supporting the volunteer team that is assisting underprivileged senior people and OKU persons in Seremban, Port Dickson, Rembau and other areas who have been affected by the economy challenges and are trying to live because of the high cost of living. Some are also neglected, but who are we to judge.

Yes, some older people had savings, but they burned up their savings covering groceries and medication as the cost has gone up. Some families have OKU members to care for, and medical and transport costs have increased, which makes the kebajikan funds not sufficient.

The solution is that we are here right now, and we will do everything we can to help this group of people.

Thank you to the volunteer teams on the ground who are meeting and supporting these families.

Dialysis Patients Breakfast Assistance @ Seremban

As is well known, dialysis patients today require ongoing care due to the high expense of therapy. We became more aware of the difficulties that most patients encounter when one of our team members underwent dialysis. To lessen their daily burden, we decided to gather money to buy breakfast for these patients while they are receiving treatment at the clinic.

We intend to gather money for the Dialysis Breakfast Project so that 50 patients every shift who are chosen for help can eat for RM5, for a total of RM250 per breakfast.

There are 3 shifts totalling 150 pax going for dialysis treatment daily, and from 150 pax we have identified 50 pax that need some basic assistance.

Earth Warriors: Clean Up Session Today !

The Earth Warriors Project was first initiated by Great Heart Charity Association, one of its sister NGOs, with a mission to nurture a cleaner and more sustainable environment. What began as humble, small-scale monthly cleanup activities across public parks and streets. These efforts brought together volunteers from all walks of life, united by the shared belief that caring for the environment is a collective responsibility.

Building upon this momentum, Earth Warriors Day (EWD) was introduced as an extension of the project — a mass cleanup campaign that mobilised thousands across Malaysia to take part in one of the largest environmental volunteer movements in the country. Then, in 2020, with the formal registration of Earth Warriors Association as an independent NGO, the organisation officially took over as the driving force behind Earth Warriors Day and other environmental efforts.

On January 19, 2025, at 12:00 pm, the Mambao New Village Comprehensive Auditorium will host the annual Respect for the Elderly Luncheon, which is co-organized by #LovicEnterprise and #MambaoNewVillage. Lets Help! Mother with 2 Children Soon to be Homeless (Bukit Mertajam) (COMPLETED)

We are trying to assist a mother who has lately had her husband incarcerated and is begging for assistance. Given the circumstances, we believe that the mother and her kids might benefit from some support, since she requires money in order to pay her RM 1000 monthly rent.

She currently owes the landlord RM 2000, and she will have to leave the house if she doesn't pay. The landlord would take their RM 4,500 deposit and kick them out of the house. She will consequently be living on the streets with her two kids.

Those who are eager to assist may pay the landlord directly because we can give them the account information and contact details. As a reference, we also have a copy of the tenancy agreement.

Additionally, we would like to send some basic groceries to support the family since they currently do not have an income. To be honest, we have no idea how the mother will make ends meet and pay her bills over the next few months. She is currently working as a security guard to support the family.

For the time being, we believe she may need to apply for welfare assistance and hunt for a less expensive place to live. Due to the sensitivity of the children, we are not displaying any pictures, but have the relevant information to share with those who want to help.

Delivery Volunteer’s Mother Need Your Help!

This case we would like to share is for one of the volunteer who helped Jannet to deliver the groceries to the needy people.

One trouble comes after another.

Being diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 68 might already sound heartbreaking, but for Ms. Ng, this was only the beginning of her challenges. Now, at 79, Ms. Ng faces yet another painful struggle—a severe wound on her lower back with exposed, damaged tissue that grows larger each day. Mr. Goh, Ms Ng’s son, as her primary caretaker, shares the painful suffering of his mother.

Tragic Turn: Elderly Mother Faces New Health Scare After Fall

It was already painful for Mr. Goh to witness his elderly mother undergo a mastectomy to survive her breast cancer. Worse, on June 9 this year, his mom accidentally fell in the bathroom. They were relieved when they found nothing serious until a blackened spot was spotted on her lower back as she started losing her appetite. She was then rushed to the hospital for further treatment.

Ms. Ng was suspected to have a crack in her lumbar bone. However, due to her age and the expensive cost of surgery, she was advised not to proceed. Mr. Goh, already struggling financially, made the heartbreaking decision to care for his mother at home. Despite his best efforts, her wound continued to worsen.

Inadequate Resources and Persistent Pain

With limited resources, the most he could do was arrange for daily wound cleaning services to prevent the infection from spreading and to clean the damaged tissue. Each day, he watches helplessly as his beloved mother endures unimaginable pain, knowing he can’t afford the care she desperately needs.

Mr. Goh’s monthly income is barely enough to cover their daily needs. To make matters worse, his financial status is in a deficit of over RM3000, making it impossible to afford his mother’s necessary medical treatment. With a stutter in his voice, he shares that his only wish is to witness his mother enjoy her old age with good health, putting aside his intention to get married to fully commit to his mother’s care

MITRA launched the MITRA Dialysis Subsidy Program for the year 2024 yesterday 24.06.2024. Indian patients who are categorized B40 can apply for this program. Especially for NEW PATIENTS and WITHOUT THE SPONSORSHIP of any statutory body or government.

Applications for this program will end on 23.07.2024. Therefore the B40 dialysis patients who are newly registered at the dialysis center can apply for this assistance. The dialysis center will not register any dialysis patients. If the patient wants to register, then the patient himself browses this portal page and registers according to the rules set by the MITRA.

This is because if the application is successful then the funds will be credited to the patient's bank account only and the dialysis center will not receive any funds from the MITRA. If the patient wants to know excessive information, then the patient can visit the MITRA portal page.

Family in Need of Medical Help for Asthmatic Son

We are looking for fund assistance to help out a boy (his details are not revealed here as he is underage). He is diagnosed with Acute Exacerbation of bronchial asthma secondary to atypical pneumonia with underlying newly diagnosed intermittent asthma.

Currently, he has just been discharged and his mother is pleading to get some help as she will need to bring him to see a checkup and purchase Aerochamber (asthma inhaler), brand Advance Chamber, Tress Care (Adult) from the pharmacy estimated RM 65.90. If you can purchase online, you can contact the mother directly but her Bahasa language is limited, she is good in Tamil though.

We have been assisting this family with groceries to schoolbooks, however, this is for medical assistance now.

Art Class Sponsorship for Autistic Youth

We are sharing this information to look for sponsors for Jia Jun a 26-year-old autistic youth. He has been a student 19 years old at the centre with Jannet. Currently, we have a teacher who is willing to train Jia Jun for RM 250 per month on art.

His family can’t afford these additional expenses as Jia Jun’s mother is a single mother. Although both sisters are working, they are unable to fork out the extra fee for this art class.

Our team have been invited to perform at World Music & Dance Festival, Japan in August 2024.

We are honoured to be invited to a festival that hosts 30,000 people annually, that is why we intend to debut a new body of work which highlights cultural practitioners from various Dayak communities, namely the Kenyah, Kayan, Iban and Lun Bawang.

Showcasing our various expressions of "Wind & Earth" under the banner of Lan e Tuyang (founded by Mathew Ngau Jau, Malaysia's Living National Heritage), it will be a performance rich in exploration through music, song, poetry and dance. Combined with the fact that it is a huge platform for our cultural practitioners to professionally grow from, we feel that this will not only inspire, it would also amplify the impact within our communities, and the work that we do as a social business and community-led creative company.

Now, the festival will take care of most of our logistics, however we will need to find our own way there (flights from our various home bases in Sarawak to Hakodate, Hokkaido). We've calculated that for the size of our group of about 15-18 pax (including possible layovers, excess baggage, insurance), it would cost us around RM180,000 to get to Hakodate and back.

We have been assisting this family from time to time and this round they only requested RM 892.34 help with schoolbooks for four children.

We are raising some funds to help her as currently her husband is jobless and additionally, they will need to pay rent and other expenses related to daily life.

Persatuan Kebajikan Avighna Negeri Sembilan is organising a donation drive to get uniforms, school shoes, bags, and stationeries. Last year we budgeted RM150 per kid, with the current inflation, we have budgeted RM200 per kid

Donors will be updated with a receipt copy by organisers and to protect the privacy of the recipients, donors are not allowed to post anything on social media.

2024 CNY Dragon Charity (Goodie Bags for Old Folks & Underprivileged) #2024春节福袋

Welcoming the year of the dragon, we are raising funds to purchase 50 goodie bags to be given to 50 old folks and underprivileged Chinese families in Negeri Sembilan.

Every goodie bag will have New Year cookies and Bakkwa (a Chinese salty-sweet dried meat product similar to jerky) made by an old Pohpoh (granny) and a single mother.

In this festive time, we hope to cheer them up with these goodies bags.

Each goodie bag cost RM100 and it contains. (by 1st Feb as distribution is from 5th to 7th Feb)

2 homemade cookie jars
1 pack of Bakkwa
1 box of mandarin oranges
1 pack of rice

Anyone who wishes to sponsor, please direct contact.

We also collect funds for the monthly groceries for the underprivileged as usual, so access funds collected shall be used to purchase groceries for the food bank and to be distributed.

Hit and Run Accident Victim Needs Help (COMPLETED)

Sham meet with an accident on the way to work at Damansara and is currently hospitalised @ Hospital Sungai Buloh. His family has given us permission to share the information to reach out for assistance.

Due to no insurance coverage or funds, his mother has requested some help as he needs to go for an operation and will need funds for a wheelchair and hospital bed as he will need time to recover.

If you want to support the operation cost, please also check with the hospital.
