In 2014, 101 women (81+20) were elected to the 114th Congress so far (3 races TCTC), or 18.9 % overall -- a measly .4% increase! With the support of UN Women and their Sabaya Women&#39;s Centers, women of the West Bank have written their own inspiring story -- overcoming both limitations of the occupation and male resistance to working wives.  They now run canteens in schools that feed 70,000 school children. Mazel tov!

Tonight, Oregon State Senator Suzanne Bonamici (D) defeated businessman Rob Cornilles (R) in a Special Election to replace disgraced Congressman David Wu (OR01).
