Children of Cancel Culture

Parents, let’s take a walk through the weeds of reason and logic, shall we?

Children. We mold them, shape them, protect them, teach them and profoundly influence them more than any society or culture can, no matter how much that culture or society attempts to make us abdicate our roles to benefit the current condition of the state. Conditioning at its finest.

Once those who control the larger populate arrive at a message deemed beneficial to their agreed upon goals, groupthink becomes the vehicle necessary to achieve whatever is the desired outcome. It is a deliberate and so profound of a hijack of parental minds. They unwittingly become pawns and ultimately accessories in the Crime of altering the innocent and fertile minds of their own children, molding and shaping them in unconscious subservience to the unseen powers that determine what is acceptable and what is not. Media is the tool, social, and its other various forms and it is the purveyor of the message; good, bad or otherwise. Sleight of hand is the trick; manipulation is critical to advance the deception but it must be subtle, artful and pervasive. It must evolve over time so that it’s not identified as anything but an acceptable trend that is perceived as good...and, true. Conditioning at its worst.

Cancel culture is cool. It’s fun. It makes one powerful to have the ability to erase a person, place or thing, regardless of whether that which is being cancelled is of benefit to a previously defined society. Science has become a political football so it can be quite useful in determining whether or not cancellation of any entity is in order. Its integrity is on par with media unless discernment can be practiced...with either.

The most nefarious and destructive form of cancel culture is just below the radar. It’s insidious and derives its power from the malleability of the human mind. It rejects true science, replacing it with trends presented as facts tailored to appeal to the desire to be considered cool and accepted by friends, family and peers.

Cancel culture is on the road to success because within the chaotic, willful chaos and confusion it imposes upon parents who I believe do love their children and universally wish to provide better lives for them, it isn’t businesses or opinions or political groups or individuals that are being cancelled. It is the child’s uniqueness as determined by its genetic code that has now become subjective. Children are being molded and shaped to believe that their gender is optional because “science” has not yet evolved enough, “but it will,” to prove that girls can be boys, boys can be girls and that both can be any manifestation of a living being they ultimately choose. Freedom of choice, no? That is exactly where this is all going.

And that is the true danger of cancel culture. The seed that grows quietly, unseen, below the ground and in the dark is the one that will bear the fruit.

Dear Mr. Franklin,

I regret to inform you in response to your observation regarding our form of government, “a republic if you can keep it,” that we failed to do so and have been overtaken by those who have transformed us into a banana republic embracing socialism, communism, totalitarianism, fascism, corporatism, whatever you want to call it. It doesn’t matter; the ending is the same.

For 12 years, many stayed asleep as the values and founding principles, including those you embraced in the precious, living document you so carefully and wisely crafted, were insidiously and deliberately destroyed. A nefarious and sinister cabal seized control of all 3 branches of government and every institution we once respected.

We immersed ourselves in reckless delight and entertainment provided by Big Tech giants we handed our brains over to and granted permission to manipulate and brainwash our minds into a mass stupor some were never able to wake from. Lies, deceit and fraud were our undoing which, as you know, sir, are the foundation that allows evil to thrive.

I am so profoundly heartbroken and sorry and I’m glad you and your fellow patriots are not here to see it. We can only hope and pray that somewhere, somehow, we will find new leaders who share the kind of wisdom, fundamental integrity and dedication to truth that you did.

But I’d like you to know that We the People will continue to fight for freedom and liberty from the tyrannical forces that overcame us in the end and we will work tirelessly and unceasingly to rid ourselves of all those we entrusted our representation to, legally and peacefully, just as our best and beloved 45th president told us. When all is said and done, the sentiment remains alive; “give me liberty or give me death.”

“When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I’m feeling sad, I simply remember my favorite things and then I don’t feel so bad” so I figured I’d try this out for 2020 instead of a handful of resolutions that are a setup to fail - most of the goals, which is really what they are, can be achieved by implementing three words: just do it.

So here’s a quick glimpse of my favorite things in no order, alphabetical or otherwise, no prioritizing and no expectation that anyone cares. Nevertheless, just making the list might help facilitate coping with the horrific situation we find ourselves in ever since 11/8/2016 when “resistance” was packaged up by media for our daily consumption to be cool as a bonafide cult of crazies began running wild in every element of our society. (For the record and the cause (always need a cause) of intellectual honesty, let me state right here and now: I hate snow; so, therefore it follows: I despise snowflakes - a whole other topic for another day and I’ll leave it at that.

Now let’s get to it - my favorite things:

Hmmm...let me think about that - they’re not quite on the tip of my tongue. I’ll try though.

Well, give me a minute...maybe the list is just too big to quantify yes! That must be it! But still, there must be a “FEW of my favorite things” I can come up with - you’d think, right?

Nothing. Nada. A lot of clutter but nothing in particular emerges to kick off the free flow of ideas and generate at least one or two things...yet, my pen seems dry. (Remember them? They went the way of books - poof!)

I wonder what I could do to “trigger” (big, beloved buzz word interchangeable between opposite sides of the same coin aka political parties) some definite favorite things I can name.

Apparently nothing since nothing comes to mind. Very discouraging. I thought this would be an easy exercise!

Ok, here we go. My favorite things are......

Well this is going nowhere. Could it be I HAVE no favorite things? Is that even possible? Is it??

Yes.

What if I try a different approach? I’ve got it! I’ll list a few of my most HATED things.

Wow. So much easier and in fact, I already did up above.

And therein lies the problem, dear genius readers...we have been conditioned to think AND feel that hate is easier than its opposition: love. Why? Because it is. And we humans, for the most part, do seem to choose the easiest things, ways, options, decisions, morals, philosophies and so forth. So over and over again, that choice, the easy one, inevitably leads to hate. Its roots are laziness, apathy and indifference UNTIL you can latch on to something that makes you feel better; that gives you meaning, a sense of purpose.

Right now, as we begin a new year...a new decade, let’s stop choosing EASY because that collective choice has led us to dwell in a land of division, “fear and loathing” (H/T Hunter Thompson) hypocrisy, verbal and physical violence all packaged up in a perpetual state of hatred brought to you by a filthy, disgusting, “free” press mouthpiece of those who wish to CREATE destruction (bravo if you noticed the oxymoron 👏👏👏). While THEY are free to impose their lies upon us and while WE give them permission to, WE are the unfree. WE are shackled to THEIR truths. WE simmer and brew and ferment until we ultimately explode nothing but hatred.

It will kill us. One way or another. It will kill us.

For this new decade, can we, for the love of GOD and all things sacred and holy, begin to love?? Begin to choose the NOT easy? Begin to live as we were meant to? Because if we do not, it is simply a matter of brief time, that our hatred does, indeed, kill us all.

If, after the vote to impeach by Pelosi’s henchmen you are satisfied and energized or joyful, congratulate yourself on being one of their brainwashed sheep.

She was born for this. One singular vision. Never a doubt; no earthly reason to. Every waking moment spent imagining what it would be like; how would it feel in that one moment in time...the moment when the glass shards would fall around her in their final descent from the heavens...to the ceiling...to the ground she worshipped simply because she walked on it.

All around her knew her destiny and were willingly and unwillingly pressed into her service. No stone was left unturned; no task overlooked - at least the first time which was a mere rehearsal. But even if it were, it would not, could not matter because she deserved this. She was entitled. She owned this moment by virtue of her appointed destiny with greatness. She was special; ordinary rules and laws applied only to the lesser among her who were the All. No consequence ever needed consideration. No sin too serious to commit or unable to be hidden underneath the veneer covering the lies, the greed, the evil boiling beneath the surface. Her favor could only be bought - never earned and at prices only princes and kings could afford. But she was worth it.

For those who couldn’t afford the honor of her presence, servitude and slavery were acceptable currency. Her needs were there to be met by any means possible because after all, the world was waiting for her ascension to the throne. The scribes duly reported; the jesters and fools entertained. Those who fell from her favor were dealt with swiftly and sometimes fatally depending upon the degree of their defiance and severity of their perceived crime against her. No one dared to cross her for fear of their own fate. Collateral damage is acceptable and understood in the devil’s domain of war, power, money and greed.

But in the dark night of the soulless, it was not meant to be. There were those who stayed intent upon the light who as in generation after generation fought and sometimes died for the sacred gifts of life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness and the holiness of truth; all of which she had forsaken on her journey to all things Profane. She blinked and they made their move, ripping her dream to shreds. In the end, the only glass that was broken were the cracks indelibly etched in the blackened mirror her dead eyes gazed into reflecting back at her the horror of who she really is.

She lost. She will never get over it. Nor will her true believers. There is no redemption for evil; it simply is.

But. It can be overcome and conquered. And it will be. Because light overcomes the dark. Good always overcomes bad. Faith, hope and love will triumph and claim victory from those who call the swamp their home. They will be drowned in their own filth, their lies and their perversions. They know who they are and are now ruled by Fear. Fear that they will finally be brought to justice...by the grace of God, by our commitment to each other and our country and a man who promised he will not let us down.

She tried to take our home from us.

She failed.

The Deep State and their tools, mainstream media and members of Congress on BOTH sides of the aisle are panicked because the dots are being connected AND because President Trump is ON. TO. IT. ALL. which is WHY they must get him out of office. National security has been compromised with Pelosi’s impeachment stunt (not to mention Spygate) because they have weaponized and politicized our ENTIRE system of justice and the Constitution. The media is hiding the truth from us because what they have done is SO dastardly. It doesn’t get much worse than trying to take down a duly elected President of the United States BECAUSE the candidate to protect these players who want total control over our lives, shockingly lost the election.

The corruption in our government is almost too vast and deep to understand but luckily, diligent, dedicated patriots have worked VERY hard to find the truth. NO mainstream outlet...not ONE (except for a very few) is telling us the extent of it and they’re banking on our ignorance. If Donald Trump fails at exposing and draining this swamp surrounded by quicksand, the United States of America is over. He has done NOTHING wrong or illegal. Mueller proved that and now the Ukraine transcript has done the same. Let me say that again...if we do not support this president and his Herculean efforts to clean out our government, we are done. Over. DO YOU HEAR ME, MY NON-POLITICAL FRIENDS HERE?? OVER. You need only look at the leftist, socialist candidates to know that. Who want to raise your taxes. Give health insurance and free education to ILLEGALS. Rob you of your social security. Your god-given right to self defense while they employ armed guards. The new green deal. We MUST unite behind this man who has taken more slings and arrows that are humanly imaginable. I don’t care WHAT party you think you’re in. It is us against them. Simple as that. As the history of the blog demonstrates, I was once a liberal. BEFORE liberalism morphed into radical leftist progressivism, socialism, communism...call it what you will. It all ends up at the same destination: loss of personal liberty and government control over every aspect of our lives. Someone recently asked me why is it that normal people (if you find one, let me know) can’t seem to recognize the dire straits we’re in. The best I could offer was that I certainly have no answers but think maybe a combination of contributing factors not limited to our substandard education system hijacked by liberals, weak and/or abusive parenting, the effects of purposeful media brainwashing to a population glued to digital screens, apathy, inability for support systems to recognize mental illness and deal with it ASAP, lack of leadership mentors, low-lying depression resulting from constant barrages of Armageddon, lethargy secondary to obesity because of the crimes of the food industry, lack of a spiritual belief system, insane gender reclassification but who is looking at the root causes when we’re on the brink (and make no mistake...we are) of civil war? A whole other topic for another day. My heart is breaking. My country is on life support and unless we recognize and support and TRUST the brilliance of one man who has given up the ALL to fight for us as he and his family are crucified daily by the corrupt legacy, mockingbird media, we are screwed. And we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Put the hatred away...it’s going to kill you eventually so do it for your health...for your children. Swallow your pride if you made a colossal mistake in voting. The media’s purposeful brainwashing is very hard to resist. Do NOT abdicate your intellect to people who wish to do you harm. That is the first step to selling your soul.

Though it may surprise you to learn this, the majority of your audience could NOT care less about the following:

1. What you had for dinner in 1970 and the great impact it’s had on your life.

2. What your lawyer boyfriend tells the office about what dish you’ve created promoting him to pop the question.

3. How many kids you have sticking their dirty, germ infested fingers into the pickle jar featured in your recipe for those delicious dills.

4. What you wore to your first dance.

5. How many tries it took you to get THIS recipe right. (psst..it doesn’t exactly foster trust in your culinary skills and make people run right out to get your ingredients)

6. How much your dog enjoys licking up every morsel from the plate you snuck him in the kitchen.

7. A running commentary about the season you’re making this dish in OR a travelogue about how far you went to find it.

8. Humor. NOTHING you say is funny, clever or witty and it’s ALL been said before.

9. How even your vegan friends beg you to make this recipe and ask for seconds.

10. What your plans are for the evening after shoving your gluttonous self from the table in a stupor while plotting your next blog.

So, I’m here to help you. THIS is how to write a food blog from beginning to end.

“Hi. Here’s my recipe. Try it. Hope you like it. Leave your comments below.”

Ingredients:

2 cups water at room temperature

1 cup water

2T water

1/4 tsp water

1 tsp water mixed with 1/2c water

1 cup water evenly divided in half

Pinch of water (to taste)

2/3 cup water for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 5000 deg.

Combine 2T water with 1 cup. Mix in blender. Set aside in small mixing bowl.

Add previously mixed water to bowl. Whisk until smooth.

Mix 1/4 tsp of water with 1/2 cup of water and add to bowl.

Add first 1/2 of divided water to mixing bowl and transfer entire mixture to 8 x 10 pan lined with parchment paper.

Pour 2nd half of divided water and smooth with cake spatula for first layer.

Add pinch of water to 2/3 cup of water and spread evenly on top for second layer, retaining 1/3 for garnish.

Cover with foil and bake at 5000 deg. for 3 hrs.

Remove foil in last half hour and cook until slightly brown and bubbling.

Test for doneness with toothpick which should come out clean. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with remaining water for garnish.

You don’t need to be a psych professional (which I happen to be though it’s of no consequence) to know there is something SERIOUSLY off with this woman. Awkward might be a good starting descriptive word but all you need is two eyes to see those herky jerky mannerisms and bizarro speech patterns to make a reasonable guess that she’s nuts and CLEARLY uncomfortable in her own skin. I don’t even care about her FARRRRRR left platform...the starting point is Elizabeth herself. Who...really...WHO VOTES FOR THESE PEOPLE IN THE FIRST PLACE???

If I weren’t so lazy, I’d start a new blog redefining what will undoubtedly be somewhat of a theme consisting of my typical snarky rants, but I AM too lazy so this will just have to do. I think it’s safe to say my blog title still applies however...with a little more emphasis on the “psycho” vs. the potpourri but then again, is there really that much of a distinction?

So I’ve been a little busy expanding my worldview and accompanying pet peeves regarding such views and have indulged in many areas of skill development with still not enough time to exceed in one; so, that must make me a Jack or Jill of all trades and master of none...well, maybe some but no one has yet notified me of which ones those might be and there ARE a lot of categories to choose from...photography, painting, drawing, knitting, guitar, politics...oh...did I say politics? Indeed I did but these days, it appears to be less of an art and more related to crime. And if we’ve learned ANYTHING, we can say with great conviction now that crime certainly DOES pay...and pay...and pay...well, you get what I’m saying IF you have a brain in your head left after what we’ve been through as a country these last few years. Those who have followed me know my political leanings have taken several hard turns both left AND right which in MY book, The Book of Mary, qualifies me as an independent. Which, btw, is why I was AND remain an ardent supporter of Donald Trump. I am sick to death SICK TO DEATH of both sides of the aisle. More on that as I get back into the swing of things but the caveat here is move along if you’re a diehard anything. This blog is not meant for you. Or, maybe it is. Who knows at this point anymore.

Do You Know the Way to San Jose - Or Out?

No, I'm NOT going to let this go, "this" being the domestic terrorism run rampant at Donald Trump's San Jose rally several days ago that appears to be a cluster*uck of many forces converging; including but not limited to a stand down order by the mayor to the SJPD, questionable membership of the PD chief in the allegedly racist group "La Raza," Hillary Clinton, George Soros, and Bernie Bros to name a few. Remaining silent, as MLK said, is complicity and I will continue to decry this deliberate, encouraged and APPLAUDED violence by Leftists; (formerly known as a subgroup of traditional Democrats no longer in existence HELLOOOOOOOO) the result of years of liberal policies, rhetoric and political correctness, as being acceptable when one disagrees with them. Their message is one of tolerance and advocacy for peace and justice (aka Social Justice Warriors or SWJs) when as I have been pointing out, is really that of hypocritical outrage and an authoritarian imposition of an entire school of beliefs that began to take shape in the 60s.

Clinton says Trump is dangerous? What IS dangerous is the failure to recognize, define and understand the source of what has made this country cross a line that may very well be what defines THEM vs us. Build the GD wall already - a necessity now because of failed immigration policies and lack of enforcement of existing laws by BOTH parties for entirely different reasons. It's not the solution but a start to containment of a MULTITUDE of issues we face so that MAYBE some rational solutions can be made. With the leftists out of control attempting to enforce their beliefs on mainstream America by encouraging and enacting violence and blaming the victims, it truly IS now or never.

It IS coming to your doorstep. Failure to see that has many origins I'll collapse into one larger movement many, including myself, see as the concerted effort called the Numbing and Dumbing Down of Americans (my words but all mean the same) via such media as sports, reality tv, gaming, tech devices, social media, liberal education, left-wing biased cable news networks such as CNN and MSNBC

and the lethal squeezing of the middle class whose members arrive home so tired each night after doing the bidding of their masters that their minds become ripe for the brainwash of the populate in a constant messaging of liberal GOOD and anything else BAD. It's now reached fevered pitch as demonstrated by what occurred in San Jose and presented to us by the media as "protesting" against that hateful Donald Trump and his racist supporters. Hell, after a few beers downed in a state of utter exhaustion, I'd believe anything too. My voice here is one in hundreds who have objected to what was displayed and rationalized all over our airwaves this past weekend as "protest" and a colossal enactment of blaming the victim rather than unspeakable acts of violence against people whose right of assembly and free speech was trampled upon . There's nothing groundbreaking here but I could not in good conscience let this moment history may very well look back to and define as the moment the 2nd Civil War of the United States began pass without going on the record.

Which colors will you be wearing? Red, white and blue or green, white and red? If the former, you better make sure your uniform is non-flammable.

Beyond disgust and outrage here. Just beyond.

Monsters Everywhere...

Conspiracy theorists have a great deal in common with the Establishment on both sides of the aisle. They don't like their fellow Americans and show utter disdain for their normalcy and insistence on loving their country because only they can write the script on what patriotism ought to be; they believe themselves to be morally superior and to possess occult wisdom of the daily issues THEY believe are important; they consider their intellectual level to be far superior to their peers when the majority I've encountered have barely more than a high school diploma (B.A. or B.S. to Establishment types); they preach their message with self-righteousness and condescending indignation that demonstrates further the scorn they have toward the uninitiated or non believers in their Scripture of Skepticism and so it goes. Nothing. Nothing can shake their belief in the bogeyman, existential or otherwise. This kind of thought process I am convinced is the natural outcome of many many years wearing the uniform of the social justice warrior. There is no redemption when one believes the sun rising each day is the moon moving in reverse. Luckily, most of them don't vote. They can't find the ever elusive perfect candidate.

Far leftists and CTs * (often but not always one and the same) also fear Trump bc nothing but nothing can shake the impenetrable blockade around their politically corrected brainwashed brains that can only regurgitate the themes of social justice ills they alone are endowed with the wisdom to fix: preoccupation with all things pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel that trumps (no pun intended) their absent sense of patriotism and allegiance (considered to be pathological as evidenced by indignant proclamations regarding their own country while somehow believing they're appointed to school the rest of us by way of scolding us into our shamefulness); oftentimes lashing out at their favorite whipping post aka the United States military; the evils of modern medicine even though they have no education in it except perhaps self-help books and Google which is college to them and so it goes. Jesus Christ himself wouldn't get their votes if He was running but that's mostly because they're either proclaimed atheists or they allow themselves to tentatively embrace a religion likely because it serves a familial, social and cultural need. Hypocrisy is not a word in their vocabulary.

*CT henceforth to mean "conspiracy theorists" which some may have noticed is my pet theme of late. Sorry but someone has to say it.

A Worldwide Crucifixion

In case you haven't noticed, a very public crucifixion is in progress not only here in the United States but all around the globe and the insurgent this time is Donald J. Trump.

Love him or hate him as there appears to be no in-between for this particular slaughter, the violence surrounding him makes one wonder why he just doesn't say "F*ck it - who needs this?" and go back to his enormously successful life of comfort and wealth (despite what the pundits tell you) in the interest of his own and his family's personal safety.

I could go into a very detailed analysis of all of this but much has been done already in snippets that if combined would make something Freud would be proud of but I'm not. Instead, I'm just going to shake my head in abject disgust and once again caution you that the media in this country is about as corrupt as it gets; that the Congress is too and that the elites running the show make Red Reddington look like Captain Kangaroo. I wonder what it is that lets people hoping for changes in their lives think the solution ought to be violent and out of control, mob mentality rabid behaviors? If I want peace, should I pick up a sword and stab my neighbor? If I want to be noted and respected, should I scream and shout and gesture obscenely to the person standing quietly next to me? Can someone please explain this to me?

When this kind of crap happens, I end up with a sense of outrage at the perpetrators of such behavior and ultimately wind up angered and frustrated beyond words to the point I want to grab them myself and put them in a padded OR LOCKED cell until they can demonstrate appropriate and in control behaviors. Never do I look at them and say oh, wow - ya, man, let's talk about your issues and I'll see what I can do to help you fix them.

That is why Donald Trump is a far better human being than this sick society will give him credit for and that is why he is the only one I can consider strong, courageous and extremely big-hearted.

Plus, he's not Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, John Kasich, Hillary Clinton and God save us, Bernie Sanders.

Any questions? Shame on everyone who has participated in this as a player or spectator. We were already in a downhill spiral but this bullshit just put our descent on steroids. God help us.

And so, we meet again and certainly well, shall we say interesting, to be back here after many false starts and stops in my mind since the last time I dazzled liberals with my stunning insights.

I haven't exactly been in hiding but I surely have been speechless as I've stood in terrifying awe watching the rate of progression toward the destruction of the America I grew up in. Wow. But every now and then, I have this urge to pop off about this or that lest I explode and social media has taken care of a lot of that...sort of. That, too, happens to be one of my pet gripes but that's for another day. I'm a bit rusty so I'm just going to engage in a bit of babble to get my sea legs again. No, I haven't been ill or in jail or committed.....yet... but occupied elsewhere doing IMPORTANT things like art and photography and ya, still the jewelry from time to time. For those who continued to contact me telling me how much you missed my snotty, snarky little voice, let me assure you that I have not changed. In fact, I'm probably worse than ever but that, as always, is for my audience to decide. And I absolutely have not changed my stance on the occupant of the White House - and sad to say, I far underestimated the "fundamental change" I warned about at the time which brings us to where we are. Wish I'd been wrong all along. As usual, I'll write when my muse urges me and maybe even between times - we'll see. I'm as sickened as ever and even more than I could have imagined so refasten your seat belts and welcome back to a front row seat within the wanderings of my mind. Hope all are safe and well.

So out of curiosity, wondering if perhaps the Mike Malloy Flying Monkey Left contingent has come to their collective, "progressive" senses, I took a stroll over to his blog moments ago and what did I discover but a wonderful rant extolling Liz Cheney to "go plan your father's funeral."

I am thoroughly embarrassed and ashamed of myself that I, too, was one of Malloy's followers. And they have the "audacity" to call the right wingers and Tea Party folks "hateful?"

Ya, well, long time, no see....or write as the case may be.

Not much to say actually - if you don't understand by now that the United States of America is crumbling right before your eyes well, there's not much I can contribute to influence your willful blindness and dereliction of your duty as an American to watch the supposed watchdogs of our Constitution and democracy. We're screwed, my friends, and I hope, for your sake, you know that because if you don't, you're gonna wake up and be mighty shocked one day when you realize that your childhood is unrecognizable from what you were taught to expect when you became adults. Ya, I'm talking to you, all you late teen and twenty, even thirty something-ers. You are going to pay dearly for your Facebooks, Twitters, Twatters, Myspaces, Deadspaces between your ears and believe me, none of us on the other side of the 60's is going to feel one bit of smug satisfaction to be able to say we "told you so."

I started this blog after the bloodbath in Fallujah....sick and disgusted over what I saw happening and oh, what a journey it's been. From shock and awe to hope and change I've watched the dismantling of my country and I'm reaching the point where it's crystal clear to me that there's not a damn thing more I can do about it.

I hear The One, who's been running for re-election since he was anointed, has a new campaign slogan....I guess we're ditching the hopey-changey thing for now but keeping the hope part somewhat alive. My opinion? He'd be smarter to tell his beloved illegal aliens that he's adopting a more truthful border protection program and the first step will be to hang a banner clear 'cross the whole deal that will forever immortalize one of his no-doubt famous poets Dante and it will say, facing outward of course, "Abandon hope all ye who enter here."

Now THAT would be the first move to truth.
