Does your Android device suddenly have annoying pop-up ads

I had this happen to me and after searching online couldn't find a solution any where to disable this annoying issue.

I finally found it myself and decided to share it

Solution 1:
1. Go to Settings on the phone
2. Select the Apps section
3. Find Chrome
4. Scroll down and turn off Apps that can appear on Top and Apps that can change System Settings and turn them off as shown.

If the above fails do the following

Solution 2:

The other option is to Disable Chrome and Google and then download Firefox

1. Go in to the Apps Section

2. Select Chrome and disable it will giving you warning that Apps might not work that is

fine

3. Click the Disable button

Screens shown below it is shows first as Enabled

Click the Disable option again the phone will still work fine. Some some Google features will not work but it can always re-enable and disable. I tested and you can't add a gmail mail account

Today at work I sent out a request for the users to leave their PC's on when they leave the office at days end. I need to rollback our Antivirus software.

I got an E-mail back from one user how do I turn my Surface on .. We are on Wifi.

How do you respond to this.

I was god for awhile posting here then the wheels fell off. Not sure what happened but some how they did I was good at posting and writing about my life and thoughts.

Since my last post things have been fun and interesting. lets break it down by people

Mattis

He loves Star Wars and keeps asking what will happen to Rey how did Han's son become bad
He can't wait until the next movie
Yes we went to see the Force Awakens we went twice Mattis and I once in Quebec with Mel and then here when we got back.
He is doing well in school and is starting to Excel now that we have him back at Cobblestone in Paris, but that is subject not worth getting in too.
He loves to play on the computer and play games I am going to need to get him in to programming there are kids programs for that
Mattis loves to Curl and started this year, he also took up T-ball and loves it
He loves the Jays I will need to take him to a game when we get home this summer and he is back from Grandma and Grandpas.
He loves to draw and create with Melanie in her studio
He loves to Kayak we took the double Kayak out for the first time this year all four of us were in it
Mattis loves playing with Felix but sometimes he wishes he could have his own space as Felix wants to be with him and watch and do what he does on the laptop.

He is full of life and enjoys life and challenges us to enjoy life as well
He is non-stop and wants to do everything his big brother does when Mattis goes to a friends he wants to go along too.

He is Mr Style and loves to have his hair combed and when you start the Hair Dryer if he is near he comes running to have the wind blow through his hair.
He is so proud of what he wears and most days he has to choose his clothes
He is now in the Pre-School program at Day care and just loves it has great teachers at Polka Dot Palace in Paris.
He is growing in to a young man he loves to read and loves Star Wars like is big brother and daddy. He got a BB-8 hat and can't leave the house without it.
He calls the new Star Wars movie BB-8 and will ask can we watch BB movie
He loves trucks and gets memorized by them
everytime we see a fire truck or Police car he will go weo weo.

Where to start with my amazing wife I can't say enough about the lady I chose to share my life with.

She is talented and very wonderful person who I am extremely happy to be sharing my life with.

My wife is on a life changing journey. She has quit her job as a teacher and is go to start teaching out of our house and perusing her dreams-to become and Artist and Art Teacher on her own terms. She spent 8 weeks at the Haliburton School of the Arts taking a course to become an Expressive Arts Practitioner.

We are working together to turn the basement in to a Studio and Teaching room.

I am proud of her and support her on this journey.

The Challenges of Fatherhood

I have learned that being a father can bring great joy. I have 2 boys my oldest is 5 1/2. but according to him 5. my youngest is 18 months according to my oldest 1.

Kids are so precise there is no grey it is all black and white, I guess as we get older we understand the black and white is there but there can be gray scale in our life as well; but for a child it is all black and white.

I know we want to teach them right from wrong and how to make decisions on their own but do we teach them or do they teach us. Sometimes I wonder. They test us they try our patience in what we say. My oldest is now being defiant and trying my patience along with my wives. He will also say no after much argumentation and confrontation he gives in to us.

Tonight I told him enough is enough he is old enough to wash his face himself. He got mad and said NO. The biggest problem is as the school years winds down and many early mornings as of late he is exhausted. But according to him he is not.

I have learned that reasoning with a child is near impossible you need to make compromises and have them understand why.

I often wonder am I doing what is right by being firm and taking items away and threatening to not do something to make a point. We take his computer away or his tablet, he has a fit but is he learning by our actions. Or is it just a justification for us that we are wining the tiny battles or his he the one winning by gaining our attention since he sees us so little with us both working.

I have seen love in him and the desire to emulate both my wife and I in what we do, He loves drawing and creating with both of us he goes in to my wife's art studio to create he wants to be like her. He will draw with me and asks me why do I always draw castles or waterfalls. That is a question I wish I could answer. I know I like drawing them but he tells me I need to draw other things. I did in the past i guess it is just a stage I am going through.

Enough about me. Fatherhood has changed me that is for sure it teaches us to slow down and enjoy the little things in life.

How the world has changed in 35 years

As I look back on my life it is changed a lot from the time 1 was 10 till now.

Computers in every house not even a pipe dream cell phones what were they. We had a rotary phone yes the one you dialed by spinning it in a circle. Call Display or Speed Dial not an option. In order to remember a phone number you needed to memorize it or you had in a phone book or paper Rolodex. The electronic ones didn't exist and the smartphone what was that. Now with Cell phones there is no need for a land line we have eliminated ours as have many other people. The phone instead of hanging on the wall now stores our life and connects us to the world and our friends.
It is at our sides all the time it is part of us.

My music collection consisted of Records heck tapes were just being conceived little alone the thought of having your music collection on an IPOD or MP3 player. There was not even a Sony Walkman. Now you have more music on your computer or in or IPOD or MP3 player than can you listen to in a lifetime.

The Computer was only a simple calculator I was around 10 when we got the VIC 20 yes a commodore I remember playing Frogger on it for ours and running simple games of a tape drive.
I often think back to this; my phone has 16GB internal memory and 64 GB memory card in it. The VIC 20 had a whopping 4K of internal ram and a memory expansion card not even a dream.
My phone has roughly the amount of 64 Billion times more storage than my first PC. I know it is not the exact amount but it puts it in to perspective.

We had a simple tube TV. A flat screen what was that cable with over 400 Channels heck we had an antenna that had a rotator for the antenna to get a whopping 10 channels on a good day. The TV's of Today are insane from what we had as children the colour quality is life like now with HDTV and even 3D. Heck we now have smart TV's with more computing power than my VIC 20.

We got a VCR when I was about 12 wow it was amazing we could record TV and rent Movies. Now we have DVD's and Move Collections galore on our PC's that we download from various sites such as ITunes. Then there is the VCR replacement the PVR with 1 TB and the option to add more storage I have a 2TB External drive plugged in to ours for a told of 3TB of storage. No need to erase the tape anymore. You can record a whole season and then have a marathon. You can even record 10 items at once. That wasn't even conceived of when I was a kid.

This is just a few things as there are many others that have changed and I am just wondering what my Mattis and Felix will have when they are my age. It just scares me or does it intrigue me.

A time to discover thy self

The time has come to move away from the misconceptions of hundreds of years. The church was put in place during a time of great unrest and anarchy in the world. During a time when all hope was lost. During a time when knowledge had been lost and the world was driven to utter chaos. The Dark Ages the time of mere destruction and wars among the people. The church of the time was put in place to bring order to a world that was lost. It was brought in to guide us out of the dark ages and in to the path of enlightenment.

The only problem is that over time the church evolved beyond it’s mandate and became no better than the tyrants it was trying to stop. The church is no more than an out dated philosophy inhibiting the growth of the human mind beyond what we are now. There is so much beyond the physical. There is so much that is out of our reach that has been lost as the church came to power and even to this day rules it’s subjects by fear. They have mastered this by brainwashing us in to believing that the only way the soul moves on is by believing in a character they created. The character was a mere mortal they elevated or created Jesus Christ and only through him you will move to the next evolution heaven.

The human mind is beyond being ruled by fear or is it. The simple truth is that it is not look in on yourself and see what you believe. We know the answers science has proved so much from our past and should have elevated the human mind to another plan of existence but it hasn’t. The simple truth is that the masses are still being ruled by fear that they will not move on in life unless they believe in a false God and his Son.

Just think about the school playground how the bully rules the playground by fear. Is the church any different by saying if you don’t live and follow Jesus you will not reach salvation. The only path to heaven or the next level of existence is through Jesus.

If you take a look at things and analyze them how did things really happen how did the ancients know things that we are only beginning to understand again? Think about the evolution process did man get help evolving from Apes we know the process started and science has proved it but I think the simple truth is that we haven’t found the missing link because an alien race helped us evolve to the next level and became our first gods. The ancient civilizations believed in higher powers yes but only as a helper and guider not a divine path to salvation as the modern church does. The Gods of ancient times brought us things and helped us it is documented in the Ancient myths, from Greece, Scandinavia and others. There was also bad Gods that tried to corrupt us and slow the evolutionary process down.

The simple truth of what I am saying is that within all of us we know the truth. The Ancient Egyptians knew this and it is documented in the Egyptian book of the Dead. The spirit moves on to another plan of existence that there is more beyond this world that each man seeks to better himself and those around him. We surround ourselves with comfort and luxuries to create our own personal heaven. We need to grow and shed the false hoods and let our mind discover the truths inside us.

The one truth in this world is simply this

Life is what you make it and how live it is yours to decide.

Each person controls the choices they make and what they do to creates their own world

Death is not the end but is merely the beginning or the transition to another life.

The sum of all Religion

All Religion is intertwined all myths are intertwined and linked to Religion. They are all based loosely on facts and stories based down to explain the ways of the world.

All religions are the key to the ancients; all stories are rooted in myth or in the eyes of a simple people who used the Gods to explain the unknown.

If you look at the tale of Noah it describes to a people that were moved to another place the basic principal of a journey possibly from another world. It was written to explain in simple terms that people of the time could understand. If it was written today a tale from another world in a Spacecraft would not be a far-fetched tale.

There are myths and legends in of Ivanhoe and King Arthur and Ivanhoe all rooted in Myth. In King Arthur he sought what all men seek the Truth. In Ivanhoe he fights with the black Knight which represents our inner demons. These are both things that all men fear or seek. We look for the truth in all aspects of Life and we fight with our inner demons. This is no different then what all religions preach the finding of truth and guiding us to find our inner peace through a divine power.

In Christianity we have the temptation of the Devil or Satan with Jesus. Here is an example from the bible

In all the Ancient myths or religions and modern religion it is intertwined. The Ancient Gods have been combined into one God in all mainstream modern religions.

Jihad is a factor to induce fear it is man fearing or taking the unknown about another religion and acting out to the extreme. That is my take on way someone would act in that way. Part of Jihadism is the art of brainwashing someone in to going to the extreme and taking things too far.

As I have mentioned in earlier chapters brainwashing or hypnosis is easy and has been around since the dawn of time. It is easy to make the weaker mind believe and together they will rise up. Hitler was a shear Master he made a nation believe. Then there was Napoleon, for the French, Alexander the Great for the Greeks who did the same they were all great speakers. They were able to take a country that had been devastated or had lost it sense of identity and deliver to greatness even if it was for a short time. They all had great egos that brought them to their final defeat. They wanted it all and extended their domains too far and too fast. That is the same with the inner workings of a every man in our everyday lives Religion myth and History can teach this all to us in many ways.

The Key to all great Legends, Myths and Religion is that they are not history but are simply away of guiding man on his path or his Destiny give us the power to make our own choices in life. If we go beyond what we know to be our comfort zone and the ties some of our worlds may collapse because we lose our Security. The choices we make and the roads we take that extend us beyond what we know is what defines us. The greats of History and the modern world still do this they rise up and bring people around them up. Are they Gods would they have been perceived as a God.

The Gods want us to exeed the ancients they want us to continually grow and nurture the mind question the ties that hold us the bonds that are put on us. The myths and tales in the bible teach us to understand and look at things differently. The Bible is far from historical fact but a mere god with maybe pieces of History loosely woven in to the tales describing the lands where it came from. The kings were likely true figures and their exploits created made them legends.

The key to all myths and religions is understand them and in turn it will help us understand our neighbours of different religions and ethnicity. We share this planet with many different Cultures religions and Ancient Civilizations long lost. Maybe a deeper understanding of this will allow us to unlock greater mysteries; in ourselves.

The Earth is a wondrous place and a true student of man will understand and grow to appreciate the world and people we live with.

The Links of Religion

The world and time are linked but how are they linked. The question do we know the Templars or the Disciples of Jesus Time or the Templar of the great crusades. Is your mind is my mind linked to any one of them or another great figure. Is our mind linked to all or none? Can one mind between space and time do we have all the pieces in all of us. If we come together can we solve the universe can we solve the mysteries of the world and space and time.

There are so many mysteries in the world, are they true are the myths are they and or just folklore do they have hidden truths. Are all these ancient pieces the key to understanding all the key to world peace?

We have Oak Island, Easter Island, Atlantis, and the Bermuda Triangle. How do this mysteries relate to us is the secret in all of us or just a few of us. Do we have the power to find the Secrets?

Let’s start with Atlantis and Oak Island are they one. The Templar's sought Atlantis or did they create the myth that was created by Plato. Did they believe in the Utopia was Atlantis North and South America the breakaway continents of the might Pangaea. Did the greater powers that guided the Templar's and their quest for knowledge their belief in Gnosis truths guide them to the mysterious Oak Island? Is the Modern Worlds misconceptions wrong is Plato wrong is the lost Continent the Americas the breakaway continents. Or was Plato right and the Ancient religions lost track in their desire to control the masses wrong on the Plains of Ancient Egypt is a representation of the Americas the Temples of the Gods are in the Americas was the coincidence does this prove that Atlantis is not lost but found was it the breakaway piece on Pangaea placed on the plains by Ancient beings.

As you can see to the left oblong of the Plateau is the Americas. What is the coincidence of this how did this end up as a relief on the Gaza Plateau and what is the significance. If you draw a line from Giza to the Aztecs they are on the same line. However there is no significant relief in the Aztec Area. I often wonder why. Did the Gods or the Ancient alien beings of Ancient Egypt re-create a relief on the Giza Plateau create a reference for future Aliens to new the origins of mankind or was this done so mankind could understand the link between past and future that all beings start at one location and grow out from there. It is often believed that the Pyramid Knowledge for Egypt was from Ancient Aliens is the same to be said for the Mayans and the Aztecs. As wells as the Ancient Temples of India. If you look at a world Map all the Ancient temples are in the same Region all long the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn. In the prime regions of the sun. The answer is simple they all worshiped a son God or a Deity that represented the sun or the moon.

As religion evolved it dispelled the illusion that the sun was the God and that god was in the image of man. As we grow as mankind grows the illusion of god become less and less and the image of self-Power will dominate. As we understand our own minds and our links. We have now created God in our image and want him to be our guide. We are our own guide in the world; God is a creation of our own mind to understand ourselves and nothing more. This can be said for all religions of you look deep in to them by analyzing the past and the many religions of mankind. They are all a simple form to understand ourselves.

The Norse (Viking’s) believed in the same the World of Creation and the almighty God only from a different Perspective. There was Odin the all-powerful and Thor the son who came to live with mankind. In Norse there was a twist Loki the god of mischievous which is in all man he would tempt man or twist them.

There is always similarities in other aspects you have the stories and tales of a great flood was it a flood or a journey from the heavens to Earth. Most Pagan religions have tales of great floods or ships carrying people to safety. Was this a flood or a journey from another world to protect a race or transplant a race from a dying world? Was a flood the easiest way to explain this to a simple minded race that was transplanted by Aliens to another world?

When you look at this and draw parallels to all Religions. But Christianity has stolen from all Religions as the Romans conquered they wrote History by forcing the conquered to adapt their Religion. There are various variations of Christianity but the roots are all inter-twined and come from the same force.

The one thing no matter what religion you believe in we all seek the same thing. In Norse mythology you would seek Valhalla in Christianity you seek Heaven in Islam Jana. Mankind has sought since our existence to seek a higher plan of existence. Why do you seek the higher plan is it because of the Aliens that brought us here your because it was bred in to our Genes when we were Ancient men to keep us at bay. All Religion has picked up on this and uses it why is there a hidden truth to this or is it just a myth. It is a hard question to answer but it was one we need to answer ourselves.

The Higher plan can vary for all it could be varying levels it could be domination levels or gradual these can be compared to the Gods of the Modern World as we are controlled by these to some degree.

As it was said and demonstrated in Exodus (this is a paraphrase) there is a need for all men to be free a need to escape if we believe in it, anything can be possible. As it was demonstrated one man can guide us and we can be made to believe in him, he can influence us he can guide us and lead us.

The Bible gave us Moses as a Leader but there was also Aaron his brother. Moses was the representative of God or was he a mere magician. Aaron was the people person the power that we all have only a few of us rise above the others. In life we are all Moses or Aaron the Leader or the person that wants to please all. Aaron made the Gold Gods to worship and Moses made the ultimate Leader. He was made when he saw this and it is the ultimate example of Power. Moses was the true leader if there is a God or not or one God he wanted the world to believe, God in our image not the image of animal.

We all seek to lead or to follow; the world needs both.

The Power of the God the power of the slave is predefined in who we are or is it. Can we find the strength to rise above this yes we can. The Almighty God is an excuse to hide behind an entity we feel to be more powerful. This is because the Governing bodies have made us to feel inferior. We are all Gods of our own Destiny sure outside circumstances can affect us. The one thing you need to remember is the feather in Forest Gump it floats around on its own course but is pushed by the world around it. Where it lands is pre-determined but we as humans can control the world around us.

Is our life like a feather does it float or is it like a rock. Does life float or sink. Life does both it floats and drops. There are high and low points in life the floating of the feather can represent the high points and the Rock can recognize the dropping.

Are we Moses or are we Aaron? Are we Achilles who was superior all but one flaw in his heel, as in the Greek fable of Homer? This is the one question for all of mankind or is it. The power to be a god or a slave is in us all. The power to believe in higher power is in us all; the truth is what we seek to choose.

The basis of Religion is defined it is the basis that all mankind is made to believe in whether it is God, Allah, or Buddha to name just a few. Religions are in essence the same. The beliefs are similar yet different. The tales can be found in all regions there is a tale of the prodigal son in Christianity, Buddhism, and Hindi. The Similar parable in Islam is twisted to mean the opposite we don’t forgive because if we do we are weak.

People say that the bible and the Koran are different some the first versions of both are the same in order to prove or dispel we need to find the original bible that was written in Babylonian times. Was the bible lost in Alexandria?

In all Religions they are parables to guide us that have distorted over time and made to be the gospel on the world as History. All the major religions are the same mere parables to guide us. The most common one is the Prodigal son as mentioned above. Another is the temptation of the devil.

The one thing we need to remember is we are all the same but with slightly different beliefs. We all came from the same place and have adapted and twisted History to meet our own needs. The conquerors have re-written History and misconceptions have been made. I have taken to many Americans and they are told in School that they one the War of 1812 most of them have no clue that the White House was sacked by the Canadians.

The one thing we need to remember is the original biblical texts about Jesus were in Greek and the Old Testament in Hebrew. They were then translated in to English, French, and German etc… How much got lost in Translation and where are the originals?

In modern times there have been kings and Emperors that have re-written the texts of Christianity as in other Religions. They re-wrote History to suit their needs Emperor Constantine was a prime example of this. He is the father of the modern Christian Bible.

I have been reading the accounts of General Thomas Harrison the Regicide Based on his account with Cromwell. Sure Cromwell was a great leader but he was a mere puppet in the plans to over the government. The monarchist re-wrote history after they re-gained power. The place of the Puppet is prominent in History. If you look at Moses and Aaron. Aaron was a mere puppet of the master of illusion Moses, as was Ramses.

Mattis Interpretation on how Babies are Made

Last night Mattis told me he now understands how Babies are made.
I was thinking oh my god.
He told me this after he asked why do I have a Penis and what it's purpose, when Girls don't, and then why girls don't.
I was thinking to my self how do I explain the Brids and the Bees to a 5 year old.

I told him that Mummies and Daddies make Babies together, when they are in Love He then turned to me and said I know the Baby was in Mummy
but mummy had to go to the Hospital so they could assemble Felix. I then went with Nana to see the Final version.

I wonder why Mattis says what he does what goes through the mind of a 5 yr old is amazing.

He asks the weirdest question but yet they are inquisitive at the same time. He wants to know if he can to heaven to meet Grandpa Duncan. He says to me daddy I can find him Heaven it is a small place in our house, I know what he looks like from the picture you have in the living room.

I wish I could make him understand I wish it was that simple since it bothers me that my dad never got to meet my amazing wife or my 2 Kids. He never got to meet any of his Grand kids. I know he us up there and around us proud of what we have become proud of his grand kids. Proud of both my sister and I and what we have accomplished in life. I wish I could take to him again and introduce him to Mel she wants to explore her inner artist and he could help in ways I can't. I can support her and push. I am working on setting up a coupe of shows for her but he would know more on this front than me.

He was recognized in his own mind and his signs around Burford for many years. The Burford Township Sign, Keith Halls Transport numerous Randy Covey Men; Wear signs. He defined the Paris Curling Club with the numerous signs there over the years. He didn't want to stand out he did it because he loved it. He wanted to make a small mark on the world.

I know i got side tracked but maybe in some small way Mattis wants to help me bringing my dad back to me or is it is way of saying he is as proud of me as I am of my own Father. The mind of a 5 yr old is inquisitive and open.

Mattis goes from Superheros to Zombies to Computer Games with Sponge Bob in the blink of an eye. Then we add the Star Wars in to the mix and of course Six Million Dollar Man or the Dukes of Hazzard. He is proud to enjoy what I do. He loves Six Million Dollar Man.

I am not sure of the Sponge Bob but oh well...

Around us the world moves and flows, the choses we make in life defines us. We begin making choses in one or another as soon as we begin to analyze the world around us. Do we walk to the toy or do we crawl to mum or dad. Do we ignore them as they call us and play with the toy!

At a young age our decisions maybe wrong put our parents, Teachers and those around us guide us. All our decisions are not good but we decide at young age to experiment. We may feed of others we may be the leader. We decide to react to or to ignore the situation. We also base decisions on what we think others we like.

My oldest has made decisions I am not proud of recently. He is for some reason obsessed with his butt and decided to show it to his classmates; note he is only 4. I don’t agree neither do others. I am not sure what the chose means for later in life. He is definitely a free spirit, and out of the box thinker. He would rather create his own world and live in it. A world mixed of Star Wars and Lego a world that can be created and mimicked.

Mattis loves to draw and creates unique items he has a genuine chance to love art. My wife is an Aritist I love to create and write; and let my mind flow and see where it goes.

Back to the original topic life decisions and how they affect us. Someone may praise you and you excel or they may praise you and you don’t like it in your heart so you don’t continue. Negativity does the same to kids they can feed of it or they can be traumatized by it. I am not condoning this I am just making a point. They do this because the strive for attention and will take whatever they get. How do we as parents turn it around that is a question to figure out as you learn to be a parent since every child reacts different to different things.

I know as parents we strive to improve our kids and we wonder do they just not understand; or do some understand and others don’t that is the question that frustrates us as parent making the decions for our kids and trying to get them to make decisions. The question is do they understand now or later do some understand later in life the lessons of early.

Do we as parents put our own fears in our kids with not even trying or without our knowledge? Do we try not to and somehow they read us and know. I had many fears as kid but as an adult I have worked to overcome them and have conquered the fear. I have trained myself to not fear it by listening to the ideas of others and trying it. The first was public speaking I hated it but I was told two key pieces by an instructor in College when I mentioned this to hear. Envision the most beautiful person in the room in there underwear and talk about an experience close to you. It worked.

The thing I am beginning to wonder is do we strive four our kids to be too perfect in life and to not be kids. Should we let them learn our mistakes as we did, should we just encourage them and let them learn from the world around them. Should we guide them when they make the mistake I believe yes. Should we punish them I agree as well as consequences are they key to succeeding in life. Because for every action there is an action or reaction good or bad and kids need to understand. The key is love but tough Love with fairness in life. I have learned that we can be tough but fair at the same time. Compliments go a long way in life. It is not only kids that like to be complimented but adults too. We want to be acknowledged for accomplishments at work.

Being Rewarded is part of being human. We take positive compliments well but we don’t take negativity well. Some of us shut down and some of us try to improve and strive to not do it again or find ways to improve. Some of us even lash-out without even knowing it and make things worse. This is the reaction of a toddler or young kid. Some might do pieces of each reaction.

I remember one thing I was told that had an impact on my life and the choses I have made. Back in 1994 we were sitting in the bar watching the World Basketball Championship that was hosted in Toronto I was doing my Wal-mart management training we were in the bar at the Ramada City Hall as it was called at the time. One of the senior VP’s of Wal-mart was at the table next to us and heard us talking about putting a smile on our face and greeting the customer with a smile every day. He said to us “Just remember this in life that no matter what night Mickey Mouse has or how he walks up in the morning Mickey Mouse always has a smile on his face.”

What does this mean in life I have thought about this a lot and have made it part of my life but it simply means “That we leave our problems behind us and move forward with a smile since the people we work with don’t care about our problems but want us there for their problems”. People go to Disney to see the smiling mouse and no matter what we do in life people want to see a smile on your face and your best foot forward. This applies more so to the service industry but can be made to apply to any aspect of life because at some point we are in service role whether we realize it or not. Another key piece is that Mickey Mouse always exudes confidence and we should all attain to that as we are hero like Mickey to our Children and even those around us whether we want to be or not.

Another piece to this is the simplicity that we leave the past behind us and move forward in life changing the lives of those near us. A simple decision can change things a simple comment can make or break the spirit of a person. The key point I am trying to make with this is that we need to embrace the challenges of life and remember them but move forward. I lost my father at a young age and sure I remember him and what he taught me but not everyone knows he is gone I have chosen to remember and move on. My Father was a great man and a person I am proud of to this day to have known. I only hope when I pass that I am half the man he was.

In life decisions define us in our daily lives and the past of our ancestors define us and make us who we are. There pieces are in us all and have a key part in our decisions whether we realize it or not. Were they a war hero were they in Politics these pieces draw us forward to some degree in life? I know this to be true I have several Politicians in my past and I have a desire to follow in their steps. If you know your past you will understand what drives you and what makes you who you are. These pieces are key to move us forward in life. Sure we might not know but if we understand the why we will know the key to our desires and what moves us.

The decisions we make define us and move us backwards or forwards in life theyare the key to who we are; They define us they guide us.

I once hear that we must remember this that if we were die tomorrow and our eulogy were to be written what would it say and could anyone do it with confidence; and what they say about you. The only way to truly do this is to put yourself in some one elses shoes a co-worker a friend or a person who were on a committee with. Do you ask one person or do you want anyone to write the eulogy that you have touched. The key is anyone because you never know who will be asked to write your eulogy.

I know my wife could ask many people to do my eulogy and audit my life and most could say something great about me am I boasting maybe but I try to touch the people I met it might be short but if you piece together many it would be a great testament to my life. The strange thing is my best friend or my hairdresser would be the best you ask why the hairdresser. I have gone to the same hairdresser for 24 years and hopefully many more. I once asked by a friend why don’t you date here since we are good friends and I always said why jeopardize a great friendship. We have done things together and have touched people we even ended up in Arthur after the Tornado in 1996 for a benefit dance just because we thought it the right thing to do after heading to a dance in junior Farmers the night of the dance that still went on.

The key is be prominent but not overbearing be a friend not an enemy take notice and people will remember you if you touch them they will touch you in some capacity. You need to be the person that is not in the shadows but the persons that stands out and goes beyond the shadows.

I learned one key thing early in life after my father passed at young age of Cancer that there is no need to wait for tomorrow but to embrace today and flow with it. This philosophy posseed me to go work in Bosnia-Herzegovina for 6 months on a NATO contract. I look back at his life and that is how he lived his life he enjoyed life and embarrassed the simple things. It could have been as simple as substituting for the piper who forgot to show up at a Bonspiel by grabbing a vacuum cleaner and piping in the final draw.

This very thing possessed me to help with the Bonspiel in 1999 and take over as the Chair in 2002 when I thought it had lost touch with my father’s vision for the Bonspiel and how it should be run. I ran it for for 7 years before resigning in 2009. A few years as Co-Chair and 5 as chair. When I finally let go in 2009 I did it to make a legacy for myself but to not save my father’s legacy. I needed to let go to realize this because my father was one of the people that defined it and wanted to save his memory or my memory of it but in the process was creating my legacy and not his.

This goes back to the piece about knowing our past and how it defines us we are defined by our ancestors whether we realize it or not. We take what we believe and what is in our genes and create our own legacy in life.

The simple key or complex key however you look at it is that we are a prodigy of our past and whether we want to or not we define the future generations; whether we realize it or not our genes define us our genes are passed on to the subsequent generations. We are all a product of the past and a key to the future.

Have you ever noticed being a parent you need to answer alot of Why's some I can answer but many I have no answer for. I will start with the easy questions. -- wait most are not easy to explain

Why are plants leaves green - If my son was in grade 9 I could explain it, but how do explain to a 3yr old i have found the best answer is because that is the way God decided they should be or because that is the way they are.

Why do birds fly and why can"t I fly like a bird or Superman? -- how do answer this question to a 3 yr old -- Superman is from another planet so he has special powers. Birds hmmm. this is a tough one to answer how do I explain to a 3 yr old that birds have hollow bones allowing them to be filled with air in order to fly.

Why does Batman drive and Spiderman doesn't - another one that is hard to explain.

Why do the cars on TV float can we take the Escape in the water. -- How do explain that TV is not real to a 3 yr old that there is no way the Escape can become a submarine like the mini in the commercial.

Why does my shadow follow me. ok this one is easy to explain the sun casts a reflection of you on the ground that is attached to your feet and will go along with you. Yes classic Peter Pan when sun disappears no more shadow.

Chinese Caesar Salad

1 Cup Whole Almonds unsalted

2 Boneless Chicken Breasts Thinly Fileted

2 TBSP Masala Spice

1 Tsp Coriander Spice

1 Cup Endame Peas Frozen

2 TBSP Olive Oil

1 Whole Onion Sliced

2 Slices Bacon chopped in to bits or Bacon Bits

1 Tbsp Parmasean Cheese

2 Tbsp Caesar Salad Dressing

Handful Sunflower Seeds

Romaine Lettuce or Caesar Salad Kit

Thaw and Shell Endame Peas in Microwave

Cook Onions and Bacon in 1 TBSP Olive Oil and Coriander

Cook until almost Glazed add Chicken Filets and cook with Onions until Golden Brown. Add 1 Tbsp of Masala Spice over Chicken Breasts while cooking .. You can add more if you Desire.

Onions might end up a little well done.

Remove Chicken when cooked leave in Onions and Bacon cook Almonds about 5 Minutes Covered with 1 TBSP Olive Oil and 1 TBSP Masala Spice spread over Almonds

Add Chicken, Almonds, Sunflower Seeds, Endame Peas and any Onions and Bacon that are not overcooked to the Salad add Dressing and Stir

Add Parmesan Cheese

Serves 2 -3 People

Gods of the modern World -There was Gods in Ancient Times but we have then now As Well

When you really sit back and think is the modern world really any different than the previous. Yes we have Gods that we worship and control our minds. Just think about for a second, can you figure out what I am talking about.

Who or what are these gods of the modern world.

They are:

The God of the Economy

– He drives society and keeps it going. He is the master behind big business and the driver of the wars. He is the modern God of the underworld or the God of war; the evil part of society. The prime example of this one’s influence is the modern war against terror is it any different than the great crusades. He is the master of the sub verse, the master of the game of marketing and getting you to buy, to drive his desire for more power and to fund his hidden agenda of utter chaos and mayhem.

The God of Technology

– He entertains us by making things easier for us; or does he? He helps the god of the economy to control the masses. He creates the bigger and better toys. This one helps control the need to be better than the others he is responsible for technology to subdue the masses and has helped usher in the IPOD generation. He is the god of the day the god of the sun. His prime goal is to make us happy and surround ourselves with items that do so. With his technology he helps the others get their message to us the will of the others.

The God of Hollywood

– This one has the second most power as he helps keep the masses subdued and entertained turns us in to mindless zombies that won’t question society in most cases. He can also be made to have us question the other gods. But the main goal is to make us not care about the world around us desensitize from war and violence. The main focus of this god is to make us not care keep us at bay

The God of the News and Media

– This one has the power to create and corrupt and tell us what we want to hear or what the politicians and government officials want us to know about our economy and the world around us. This god keeps us at bay and helps hide the truth or does it.

The God of Politics and Power

– This one helps to hide the truth from us and does it really listen to the needs of his people. He is in a position of power but is a mere puppet to the God of Economy and the Media.

The God of Science (pure power and energy)

– The Path to the truth not a god but the answers that we seek the culmination of all power and the hidden truths within us all subdued by society and the other Gods. This is the greatest power of all, the quest for knowledge. The key to unleashing the inner God; the God that is in us all; it is the true path to peace and enlightenment.

The modern world is no different than the ancient world man is a still a puppet of his masters sure the faces of the Gods have changed over the years but have they. The goal of Christianity throughout the ages has been simple the rulers of the church are not religious or the divine but mere people that can persuade and subdue the average man by making him ignorant to the world around him.

By utilizing our in our power we can overcome and use the resources of the Gods to better educate the masses to bring the true message to all

The gaining of power and the misuse

In order to understand the modern gods we need to take a little look back at how the Catholic Church came to power and destroyed the thinking in the spiritual realms.

Before the church there was a time of myth and mystery a belief and a spirituality that bonded man and nature. The ties were towards the elements of the earth the knowledge of the cosmos and the worlds beyond. The myth was merely a way of understanding the world around us and giving comfort. These myths were a way to help the children to grow and understand and by doing so they became one with the elements and could draw upon mother earth’s natural hold on us. We had a tie to the bonds of time and space we had a tie to the mysteries of the universe. The unfortunate thing is the modern greed of a few who have become self proclaimed gods has changed this.

The self proclaimed Gods are the church the eminence of greed and power by making you believe that thorough the church you will receive enlightenment and only the church they have become the Devine. They have destroyed the Devine within made us in to mere puppets. Did the ancient people not receive it they believed in the continuance of life after death the passing from physical to mystical? The Church believes as did the ancients that as well and that you will be judged in Heaven or in Valhalla or any other word for heaven.

I agree with the knowledge of the church but it is being misused and has been for centuries!

The simple thing is that there is no beginning or end There is no heaven or Earth but merely the movement from one plain of existence to another. By seeking greater knowledge we can leave the bonds that bind us and carry us forward.

How did this happen?

The first thing the church did was under the influence of Emperor Constantine of the Roman Empire was to create a book and a doctrine to follow. The reason he did so was to unit the different religions under one simply creating a force that he knew would help him control the vast pagans as the world of his time called the unbelievers in a religion that was formed by stealing and re-writing history to control a world that was realizing that things were changing around it. I know this sounds harsh but it is the truth a hard fact re-create history destroy the past and you have a new starting point. Why do you think there is no concrete evidence of Christ in History books or why have they found no real evidence that he existed. The ancient Egyptians and Greeks and even the moors and Ottomans kept excellent records. They are hidden and buried within the tombs and catacombs of the Ancient world. They all point to different worlds and world unity. They never re-wrote history and stole from the past saying it was a new idea. The parallels between Christianity and the Ancient Egyptian tales that were written as a mere guide on how to survive and what is within us all have been re-written and stolen to create a new world order controlled by greed and corruption.

The significance of BC and AD (or After Christ)

What an excellent way to start a new era and say the past was wrong mark it and change the ways of recorded history. The times before the time of the pagan the time of what was wrong the dumb thing is that this was done 100 years after Christ’s supposed birth. This why the mere facts make no sense the whole story had to be created so why not create the beginning in the past that way it has an element of mythology yet you are re-writing recorded history so simply create a new starting point and hide the old that you don’t want the people to know about. In simple terms change the past create a book and say it was written by god and given to you. Use the stories of the past and what you want to simply hammer home your point.

The whole principal behind this has escalated over the centuries the church became more then what it was supposed to be it became a power to control a force of evil within itself. The modern church was no different than Hitler in its past and even to this day is there much difference. I know this is a harsh statement. The simple truth is that you have to think about this. If you look at the Americans they are fighting a war against terror is it merely a holy war, are the Americans the modern crusaders of the Church. The mere puppets fighting against those who are different who have different beliefs than they do? The Americans are the most religious why because they have the least educated people in the world the third world is greater in their back yard then some third world countries why.

The church created the templar’s as the army of the church gave them power and as there power and knowledge became greater it had them eliminated. It is easier to quell a party or subdue and by eliminating the templar’s who had amassed great knowledge and wealth by doing what the church wanted they began to fear them. Simply put maintain power by destroying an enemy before they can destroy you or force them underground in to secret societies that hide and wait until another time.

Why did the templar’s pose a threat most of them were originally simple people who amassed great knowledge during the crusades who were changing the fabric of society offering protection and creating things that the church had no control over. The church gave them immunity and they used it to create and hide stuff in order to possibly bring forth a new world order by revealing the truths when the time was right.

Now back to the comparison of Hitler and the early church.

The atrocities performed by the early church were great and vast they wiped out people in the many inquisitions because they believed them to be witches or other unnatural beings. The wiped whole religious sects and went to war to wipe out the infidels the non believers of their ways. Don’t get me wrong I am not condoning what Hitler did but I am merely saying was the church any different and is it any better today. The mere difference is Hitler’s was a personal quest of hate and the Church has used the statement “it is the will of God”. Could I use that statement in court could you? No we cannot because you and I are mere puppets in the hidden quest for power.

The one thing you need to think about is the statement below

Within every man there is the ability to control himself, within each man is God and within each man is the path to seek the enlightenment we all seek. We have the power to be the lamb or the power to be the Lion.

With that think about this the Lamb of God. Simply put by being a lamb you become a follower and a puppet of the God the person of power the Lion. I am not saying we all have to the Lion or the lamb but if we can find a simple balance between the two an era of understanding and enlightenment will rain. The need for greed and power will be gone.

The modern church created its power by re-writing history and hiding and subduing Ancient texts that it believed would help a population that was seeking answers and becoming educated to grow. The modern governments have done the same thing by being puppets of the Church. The world has grown the path to the inner god is it hand; the time to break the bonds are now the time to become the individuals we truly are know. Begin to look within begin to seek the path within you.

It goes back to a simple philosophy if you can keep the masses at bay by keeping them uninterested by hiding the truth from them then you can remain in power. The modern church has succeeded by doing so for centuries. Well they are defenders of the greed to the highest degree they have the most wealth especially the Catholic Church. Why does a church need so much why does a group that values non-material things have the world’s greatest storage of wealth? What is this vast store used for?

The next question is quite simple if we begin to question the truth, even if we begin to think outside the box and realize that we have the power how long will it be for the word changes for the better. If you think of this 1 person can be the spark but as a whole we can be the fire of change.

Back to the modern World

Is modern society truly a different place than the dark ages or is just an extension of a vision long lost and forgotten? The truth is that the church has controlled us and our society has created modern gods as mentioned early to do it’s bidding and keep the masses at bay. Gee does this sound familiar if you appease the masses and keep them at bay you can remain in power. If you rule by power and use all your resources to the fullest extent you can stay longer in power. The church has evolved with the times in some areas but as the ancients realized there is time to step back and let things take their course. The church needs to step back and take a back seat as its time is over. The truth is within our grasp, the time of man is at hand.

It is time to let the knowledge pour out and let man know the truth that has been hidden for so long. The church destroyed and rewrote history. The church came to power through fear and here in a modern world of knowledge we still fear it today. The simplicity of it is we have been taught to fear the unknown and have been brainwashed in to our current state of thinking.

The biggest problem with a lot of people in the church communities is that they let the church think for them. They don’t realize it but the church is there conscience flooding the brain with what to do and not to do. Here a couple example of this.

The DaVinci Code the church has condemned it why? Is there a possible hidden truth in the book or are they afraid that people will start thinking for themselves and move away from the church and discover the truths that have been hidden away from us for centuries.

“Mary Magdalene is a harlot.” The church under Pope Pius IX in 1870 said in an address and ever since then the Christian community has believed it to be so; yet you read the bible and does it mention this. The bible would lead us to believe she was a good friend. Yet if you read the missing gospels that the church hid away in the Dead Sea and other items that have come to light in this modern world you will see much more. Mary was his equal and yes possibly his wife. The question you need to ask yourself why the Pope did this; was there a women’s movement in the church. That I don’t know but in a male dominated society what better way to gain more power. This also reinforced the catholic belief that since priests and bishops were the servants of god this is why they don’t marry since women are inferior they are nothing but our slaves. That is slaves to the man they are merely on this earth to be at our beckon call and please a man’s every need.

This is just starting to correct itself in our modern world it is at no point in the right place. The race of man has a long way to come on this matter. If you look at the numbers you still see it is a man’s dominated world. There are exceptions to the rule and believe me if you treat a woman as an equal it is amazing how your relationship will go. They are far from objects they are every bit as capable of doing what men can do in this world maybe more so in some areas.

I treat my wife with confidence and respect the same way I want to be treated and my relationship is miraculous. We decide as equals what is to be done and where things are to go. I encourage her to follow her dreams and heart as she does me. This is what the bible was trying to tell us in it’s parables and stories. It was never intended to be a historical document but merely away to lead us to the chosen path and help us understand life. It is said there is no manual for life; The bible is simply this a confusing manual that allows us to think and interpret it; but is it any different than the VCR manual we have problems with or the manual of a computer program. The only problem with this manual is that it is missing pieces and so many interpretations that things have gotten lost over the years or omitted because the original creators of our modern religion destroyed or misconstrued facts to create what they wanted. The religious sects of the modern era have done what they have done in the past and that is that in order to stay in power they create their own interpretations and have their own agendas and corruption. They are trying to make ancient beliefs work in a technological world a world that is capable of understanding beyond ancient religion. We live in a world that no longer believes that a ginger bread cookie can come alive and walk amongst us.

The only truth in this world of today is that we have replaced ancient gods with other gods once that suit our modern needs. We strive for heaven we strive for existence in this ever confusing world. The world of Heaven is around us the world of heaven is within us all. The simple thing is that there are several panes of existence the Indians realized this as did the Celts, the Egyptians and many others. In death you simply move to another plan of existence with the ability to travel back and forth into the human world from the world of the spirits. You have ability in the spirit to return to this world and relive a life or the ability to stay and move on to the next level of existence. This goes back to the fact that death is merely the beginning and not the end.

The hidden truths

Throughout the ages those in power have hidden truths and misused their power in this economic world things are no different. There is so much that has been kept from us and so many untold truths. The fear is being reversed the masses are starting to change and the religious leaders and politicians are now fearing the general populace of today.

There are so many books out there now that rock the foundation of the old ways and explain it the way it was meant to be that the modern church is getting scared. If you take a look in the past these free thinkers were burned at the stake as witches or locked away so there views could not be heard but in this modern world it is not possible the people now have the say with the charters of rights and freedoms that is no prevalent in most developed nations. The thing is that a great number of people fear to read these books the church has condemned them as lies and is trying to hide behind the false world that the religious leaders created centuries earlier. Why are people so afraid to read and expand their minds beyond the pre-conceived the simple thing is fear? Is it a fear of learning that they fear or is it simply that they are comfortable in their little safety net that has surrounded them for so long? I can’t hazard a guess; only possible reasons to the situation.

The situation as I see it is that people are afraid of change and have learned over years of brainwashing to accept the status quo. It is come to a time in the world to change the status quo and usher in a new era of simplicity with technology and knowledge as one where there is Peace among all and not war.

The bulk of wars are over power, whether it is religious power or economic gain for land or money; the simple truth is they are pointless. Within us all is the ability to shed the lessons of racism that is present in the church and in our own governments.

Yes the church even in this very day is the most racist body in the world. Just look at the different factions and how they react to one another. The Muslims are hated by America and the Christians by the Arabic world why. The simplicity of it is that each group believes their beliefs to be the true path and that the others are all inferior. This is the greatest misconception preached by both factions; because the base principals in both have their roots etched and intertwined deep in the past of mankind. The Islamic people are no different than the Christians or the Hindus the bibles of each are a mere guide to life that has been misused to keep the general populace at bay.

Sure I know these statements are harsh but are they real. Take a look at the classic movie from the 80’s Footloose. In this movie a preacher who looses his son to a freak accident blames drinking, and dancing as the evil of society not realizing that it is part of what society needs to be truly free. This shows the power of religion and how one person can influence a community. I am not condoning drinking and driving since the driver was drunk. I am against it as it impairs your judgment. The whole premise of the movie is that simple things can get way out of hand and one person or in this case religion an be used to control his own agenda no matter how bad it is.

The controlling of the human mind can be easy and this gets us back to Hitler and the Third Reich and how they controlled the course of History. But don’t get me wrong every good leader can do this but the thing we need to remember is that our free will is also a good thing. We are all individuals and can be great as one or in a group. There needs to be leaders and followers in life where do you fit in? It is important to know that there is nothing wrong with being a follower because all good leaders are defined by the people around them.

The true things about life is that just because you are part of group doesn’t mean you need to give up your free will. If someone told you to jump off a bridge would you so why do people let others manipulate and control them. The people that need to manipulate people are the weak ones. The individual who knows that is the god or the leader. The reason for this is that a good leader doesn’t need to control people but is there to inspire and to guide the people around them.

The one thing is that the human mind can easily be trained and manipulated by those that know how. The church and the middle ages did this for centuries by keeping the masses dumb now that people are more educated the church is losing focus. But as it loses focus other things are coming in to place such as the gods mentioned in the first part can you see any of these gods in your life I am sure you can.

2013 The dawning of a new era in the world around us the new world is upon us change is imenent in the world but what change. We survived the end of the Mayan calendar we are in Octane 14.0.0.21. What does it mean to us and the world around us. This question is hard to answer but it does it bring us into the dawn of a new era of man. The question is what is that era and how will it affect us and the world around us.

Will it be the dominance of a true Canadian company and the downfall of Android cell phones and the king of brainwashing the masses Apple, that is my prediction at least on the side of technology as RIM has everything to gain and the other 2 have the world to lose.

I believe that 2013 will bring profound changes to many and especially in the world of Technology. Will open source solutions rein or will a virus bring them down finally. Will Linux finally have its downfall as more and more companies migrate to a free solution that no one controls.

The guess is anyones and we will all see as the year progresses.

The key is that mankind will survuve at least for the next few years or maybe eons as we have the will to survive. This has been shown in our History, when there is the will we overcome.
