Site Updates and Changes

Thanks to the hundreds of you that completed the Reader Feedback form that we posted yesterday.

Based on the initial feedback we've made some changes that we could implement fairly quickly. Please feel free to submit your suggestions whenever you like.

1) One of the largest requests was to add more shows directly onto the main menu. We've now added a a 3rd row of shows which cover the next most popular shows on the site. Remember you can still access all the shows from the "Select a Show" dropdown menu in the right hand side.

2)We have added a new SpoilerTV Chat room for those that like to chat realtime with others about their favourite shows etc. This can be found in the menu.

3) The At a Glance section has been improved and should load quicker. We've also added several new shows to this page. New shows will be added to this section when they meet a certain threshold in popularity.

4) We will also do our best to try and cover the shows that you've requested although it's not always possible for us to get information on some of these smaller shows, but we will do our very best.

5) I'm pleased to announce that we've just completed the rollout of the new commenting system throughout the site. The new system allows you to comment using a number of mainstream accounts and ID's, PM other users, improved formatting of comments, links, smilies, and photos. You can now leave a comment using any one of the following.

Someone at "Brothers & Sisters" is a "Dancing with the Stars" fan. More specifically, a fan of hot foreign dudes who do "Dancing with the Stars"...

Former "DWTS" contestant Cristian de la Fuente guest starred on "B&S" as Sarah Walker's one-night-only lover just a few back, and tonight, current "DWTS" finalist Gilles Marini revealed that he will be joining "Brothers & Sisters" next season.

The "Sex and the City" film star told OK! magazine that his role is still a secret and that he's not sure how many episodes he'll be sticking around for, but that it's going to be very interesting and like, "Oh, my God."

Ughhh. Such a tease.

What do you think? Nora's new love interest? I hear the French aren't all uptight about age like us Americans...

Balthazar Getty returns for the season finale of Brothers & Sisters this Sunday, but the family is actually going down to Mexico to find him. (What, no swine flu warnings in Walker-land?)

After many weeks missing, Robert McCallister (Rob Lowe) has finally helped Nora Walker (Sally Field) track Balthazar's character, Tommy, south of the border, but sadly he might not be ready to be found. Nora thinks he's in a cult, and in true Walker fashion, everyone has to come running to see what's going on.

So is the lost Walker really brainwashed? Check out the sneak peeks below with additional spoiler bonuses to get the answer. Plus, find out which Walker couldn't care less about Tommy and which Walker is on the way to a divorce.

Spoiler Bonus: You didn't really think Tommy was in a cult, did you? Nope, he's actually doing very good things in Mexico, like fixing fountains and building new water systems.

Spoiler Bonus: Kitty (Calista Flockhart) and Robert's marriage is in trouble. If it weren't for Kevin's help, they'd already be divorced. As we reported earlier, they're actually going to reconcile, but it will take a lot of work.

Spoiler Bonus: Is Tommy really shamed? For once, Nora is right. Tommy is actually in Mexico trying to become a better man for his family. So despite the Walkers coming to bring him home, he's not leaving Mexico anytime soon..

Spoiler Bonus: Did you notice the one Walker who didn't go running in for a hug? Yeah, Kevin is still not too pleased that Tommy went on the lam, leaving Kevin and Justin as accessories to aiding and abetting a criminal.

Are you happy Tommy is back for the finale, or were you glad when he took off in the first place?

"Mexico" airs this Sunday at 10 p.m. on ABC.

Lee in Compton, Calif.: I love Southland! But I'm confused. How can they go from Alvarado Street, which is in East L.A., to Bel-Air on the West Side in one episode? Don't cops normally work out of precincts that only cover a smaller area of town?
A little birdie tells us that since Southland isn't set in a specific station that they've taken a few liberties to the way things are normally done. There are moments when they have to cheat a little bit for the sake of the show. And it's a pretty damn good show, so personally, we're fine with a little cheating here and there. They're called creative liberties, my friend.

Marissa in Dover, N.H.: Is Jon Hamm ever coming back to 30 Rock? I loved seeing him in a comedic role!
Sorry to burst your bubble, but it looks like Jon Hamm's goofy 30 Rock doc is gone for the time being. In fact E! News just caught up with him at an NRDC environmental charity event, and here's what he had to say about a possible return: "I don't think so. I'm certainly not going to rule anything out because those decisions aren't up to me and I had a blast doing it. I have to get going on season three of Mad Men; we'll start that in a couple of weeks, so I'll be pretty taken up this summer." If it means more Don Draper, count us in! P.S. The happy news came in today that Mad Men season three (probably) premieres Aug. 16.

Melanie in Portland, Ore.: I just saw the extended promo for Glee, which was amazing! I am so excited for the premiere on May 19. Is there anything more you can share about this show?
What's a musical show without Kristin Chenoweth? Yup, Cheno is making a guest appearance, but you'll have to wait until fall to see it. Her character is not someone we've seen her play before though, so you'll be surprised. Jane Lynch tells us, "She's kind of a drunk, a has-been. She's squatting in a McMansion in town, but she's still got it. She's got the voice, she's got the moves and she really shows the kids how to put it on." Also making guest appearances on the soon-to-be Fox hit are Josh Groban and Victor Garber. Also, good news coming from executive producer Ryan Murphy: "There's going to be a series of albums where we put out an album every couple of months because we will have so much material. Also, we're going to have all of the songs when you watch the show available that night immediately on iTunes."

Julia in Eugene, Ore.: What's the scoop with The Unusuals?
After this Wednesday's episode, The Unusuals goes on hiatus for two weeks. The final four episodes are "The Tape Delay," "The Dentist," "The Apology Line" and the June 17 season finale, "E.I.D."

Well, that's because we've been holding back from revealing tonight's surprise return to HIMYM by a girl that we love. To make it up to you, we'll reveal now that by the end of the season we will know for sure if she is the mother (or not). Check back later this week from more from the lady in question!

Lydia in Graz, Austria: I've just seen the season two finale of Private Practice, and I'm really shocked! Is Violet going to die?
Amy Brenneman tells us, "The way the season went out, it does not seem that I'm OK, [but] as far as I know, I have a job next year." Does that give you any reassurance?

Julia in Bath, U.K.: Is Noah going to be back on Private Practice next season? I'm enjoying the storyline, and their chemistry is off the charts. Josh Hopkins is a welcome addition to the cast.
The official word from ABC is that "Josh is part of our pilot, Cougar Town, costarring Courteney Cox Arquette," so it's all dependent on whether or not that gets picked up. That said, if ABC passes on Cougar Town, it's likely that Josh will be back for at least more recurring eps—they can't be unaware about the fan interest in Noah and Addy.

Bekah in Belleville, Ill.: What can you tell me about Saul "making a shocking admission about Ryan's mother" on the season finale of Brothers & Sisters next week?
Saul may have inadvertently caused the death of Ryan's mother! In other B&S finale news, the Walkers are Mexico-bound this Sunday in order to bring Tommy back to America. Hint, it's not going to work. But it's for the best. Also, Kitty and Robert finally reconcile, while Justin and Rebecca announce to the family that they're getting married. He even gets down on one knee with a makeshift ring.

Ann in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.: What is going on with the long-rumored Ugly Betty musical episode?
It's definitely not going to happen this season. Vanessa Williams (Wilhelmina Slater) tells us, "If it's going to happen, it would be next year, and now that we're in New York, we have Broadway talent at our fingertips. I really hope it happens this fourth season." (Meanwhile, if singing is what you want, well, Vanessa's new album, The Real Thing, is out June 2.)

Lia in Helena, Mont.: Please tell me something about the One Tree Hill finale!
Julian appears in the finale, so maybe that means he and Brooke will finally decide to be together? Plus, both Mia—and her portrayer, real-life singer Kate Voegele—are releasing their albums in the OTH finale. "There's this amazing scene that we shot at a Best Buy, and they have a huge line of fans. Mia's releasing her record, and Mia's record is my record. So on the day that my album, A Fine Mess, comes out in real life, Mia's album, A Fine Mess, will be coming out on One Tree Hill." A little confusing, but you get it!

Michaela in Henderson, N.V.: Will there be any progress with Peter and Olivia on Fringe before the finale?
Anna Torv tells us, "Not while he's trying to date my sister they won't!" So, tell us, cocreators Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, will there be any kissing in the final two episodes? Says Orci, "Depends on what you mean by kissing."

Johanna in St. George, Utah: Any word on whether Better Off Ted is getting picked up?
Nothing official yet, but we chatted with Jonathan Slavin (Phil) and Malcolm Barrett (Lem) this morning, and our favorite new TV bromance collectively told us this: "We're optimistic. We think we're coming back." Said Jonathan: "We've been shooting more episodes. We have five more in the can, so that's a good sign." The duo tell us that the unaired episodes reveal a lot more about Veronica (Portia de Rossi)'s life. "There's another side to her that you find out," he said. And there's even an ep where Lem goes on a date (we love geek love!). As for Ted (Jay Harrington) and Linda (Andrea Anders) hooking up? It ain't gonna happen in tomorrow night's finale. "It's too soon. Maybe next season," said Malcolm.

Josephine in Thousand Oaks, Calif.: So happy Parks and Recreation got picked up for another season. What can you tease?
The season finale finds Andy (Chris Pratt) out of his leg casts and throwing a concert. Andy's band, Scarecrow Boat, has a song called "The Pit." Did we mention Tom's (Aziz Ansari) wife is in attendance? Wife? Yup! In other P&R news, Mark and Leslie (Amy Poehler) bond more at a bar, but he's not the one Leslie kisses that night.

Emily in Philadelphia: What can you tell us about Greek?
As we first reported back in January, Rebecca is going gay this week. There's a definite makeout sesh with one of her alumni sisters who's back in town for a ZBZ wedding. It also just so happens that Rebecca and Cappie (Scott Michael Foster) are gunning for the same gal. In other romantic news, Rusty and Jordan are going to that ZBZ wedding together while Andy is out of town.

Ausiello: Production on season 4 starts May 28 and, if all goes according to plan, new episodes will begin airing this fall. Spoiler-wise, six months will have lapsed on-screen between the finale and the premiere, which means the birth of Dexter and Rita's son will have already happened.

Question: Okay, Ausiello, tell me the truth. Is the person being killed off in the season finale of Law & Order: SVU listed in the opening credits? --Geoff.

Question: I know Weeds started filming season 5 recently so you've got to know something! I need to know what's up with Nancy. --Brandy
Ausiello: Her health may be going to pot. Producers are auditioning thirtysomething actresses to play Nancy's trusted doctor on a recurring basis. Of course, the fact that the role is calling for tasteful nudity and simulated sex makes me wonder if Nancy will be playing doctor with her doctor.

Question: Any news on what we can expect from the new season of Entourage? --Deirdre
Ausiello: The other man currently destroying Robert and Kitty's marriage on Brothers & Sisters, Matt Letscher, has been cast as the TV exec overseeing Drama's show.

Question: Please, please, please have some good scoop for The Office. I feel like it has been forever since we have learned something new. --Matt
Ausiello: Here's what you already know: Everyone (including Amy Ryan's Holly) gathers together for Dunder Mifflin's annual company picnic. Here's what you don't know: The episode ends with a doozy of a twist, the repercussions of which will be felt well into next season.

Question: I am dying here. Do you have anything on 90210. --Shay
Ausiello: Interesting choice of words. Makes me wonder what Jim Walsh is up to. I hear we may find out in the finale.

Question: You're funny! Will Luke Grimes be a regular cast member next season on Brothers & Sisters? --Henri.
Ausiello: Yes, I can confirm that I am funny. Oh, wait, that wasn't a question. My bad. Re: Grimes, I believe making him a series regular was the plan, but that may change in light of growing Ryan backlash. Personally, I have no problem with the actor. It's the way they're writing him that irks me. His creepy obsession with Rebecca was bad enough, but now he's teaming up with Holly to take down the Walkers? And the fact that the writers allowed their sharpest character -- Sarah -- to fall for it hook, line, and sinker is unforgivable. Can you tell I'm a little down on B&S these days?

Question: What is your gut feeling on Chuck's chances of renewal? --MD
Ausiello: After watching the finale, my gut feeling is that Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak left NBC with absolutely no choice but to bring it back for a third season.

Question: I'm writing you as I watch Ugly Betty film a scene outside the Woolworth Building, which doubles as Meade Publications Headquarters on the show. It looks like someone important has fallen from the building and onto a car. Who is it?! --Rachel
Ausiello: Let's ring-up executive producer Sylvio Horta and find out! (And by "ring-up" I mean conduct the interview I had previously arranged through ABC that just happened to coincide with your eyewitness report.) "Yes, someone plummets to their death in the season finale," Horta confirms. "It will play a big role in the plot."

TIM: Being married to a human lie detector would strain even the best unions — remember the episode when Jennifer Beals, as Lightman's wife, instantly recognizes a look of contempt? Tim Roth answers the relationship questions by directing viewers to this season's penultimate episode, airing May 6, in which the team tries to stop a serial rapist. "It kind of builds into some very strange areas," Roth says. "You're going to find out about Foster. You're going to find more about me and Jennifer, and my daughter." Please tell me that Chuck and Life will live on for another season. — Justin
MICKEY: NBC's "in front" presentation is on May 4, essentially the drop-dead deadline for renewal/cancellation news. Considering the early extensions of Heroes and Law & Order: SVU, the relative success of Southland and the imminent loss of five prime-time hours to Jay Leno's new 10 pm show, there really isn't room for both Chuck and Life. Right now my gut is telling me that all the Footlongs in the world will not save Life, but that the tide is turning for Chuck — particularly in light of its virtually closure-free finale episode.

I read an interview where Emily Deschanel said that she and David Boreanaz already filmed the sex scene for Bones' May 14 finale. Will Brennan and Booth also declare their feelings for each other? — Amanda
MATT: Yes, they filmed the sex scene, and much to Deschanel's delight. "[Whether Bones and Booth will ever do it] is the question people most commonly ask me," she says, "so it's nice to tell people that it is happening." How exactly the nookie goes down "is surprising" and, says Emily, will spawn a new question for her to field ad nauseum from here on in. As for Bones and Booth's "feelings," you should worry about someone else's. When Booth's brother resurfaces this week, Deschanel says, "His feelings for Brennan haven't really died, so a bit of a love triangle happens" — and likely lasts into next season!

Will Castle's ex-wife stay on the show?? If so, for how many episodes? — Heloise
TIM: Luckily for Rick Castle, his madcap former missus won't be back this season. The wonderful Darby Stanchfield may return at some point as a guest star — assuming Castle earns a pick-up — but she won't be a series regular. Note to Matthew Weiner: We'd love to see Stanchfield back on Mad Men, too, doing the hot single-mom thing, but not paying our girl Betty back for that slap.

We heard a long time ago that there was going to be an Ugly Betty musical episode. What happened with that? — Jon
MICKEY: Well, it won't be this season, if at all. As we reported exclusively, soulful songbird Adele is in the house on May 14 for a Mode photo shoot that magically morphs into a wedding. What I couldn't tell you then is whose wedding it is. Now I can. With time being a factor, reformed man-whore Daniel and his ailing bride are getting hitched! [Insert long-term commitment joke here.]

Will Brothers & Sisters' Kitty and Robert reunite by the end of the season? — Mandy
MATT: With just three episodes left to go, do you honestly think that's enough time for these two to patch things up? I sure don't think it is. In fact, I know it's not.

When is Army Wives coming back, and is there any big news? — Donna
TIM: Season 3 of Army Wives returns June 7, and with big new plot twists galore: Roxy hits some bumps with the Hump Bar, Pamela struggles with her husband being away, and Roland realizes that being a stay-at-home dad doesn't necessarily gibe with his career goals. (Watch the Mega Minute for more Army intel.)

Melanie Griffith as Kimber's mom on Nip/Tuck is a brilliant casting decision! I'm psyched! How many episodes has she signed on for? — Robin
TIM: Griffith unfortunately will only appear in one episode during the show's seventh and final season, which doesn't yet have a premiere date. If you can handle some more Nip/Tuck news, the same season will feature Six Feet Under's Frances Conroy in a ripped-from-the-headlines story about a woman whose pet chimpanzee horribly disfigures her friend. You can probably guess how the docs come into play.

Holly sets a plan in motion to give Ryan shares in Walker Landing, but has to trick Sarah into accepting by giving Rebecca the same opportunity. Looks like Holly's won back her voting shares on the board. Not good.

Dana in Tempe, Ariz.: Thanks for the Big Love scoop. It was great, but one question: What about Lois? Please tell me she'll be around for season four!
Big Love show runner Will Scheffer tells us that Grace Zabriskie (Lois) is going to be front and center next season. "We've got a pretty big story for Lois and her husband and maybe a grandson or two. The last line she spoke in episode two last season is when she approaches Wanda and says, 'Might you tell me from where you made the purchase of that bird, so if I might want one for companionship, I would know where to procure one.' That's the hint." No idea what the heck that means, but it sounds crazy!

Peter in Salem, Ore.: Is Rhonda ever coming back to Big Love?
Someone asked the exact same question about Daveigh Chase's character at the Big Love Paley Fest '09 panel, and show runner Mark V. Olsen simply responded, "She's a gal who makes her way around. You might see Rhonda up here on Hollywood Boulevard." Obviously joking about the wild polygamist runaway, we're guessing Rhonda is not finished with Big Love yet, but won't be back anytime soon.

Booth and Bones are getting together in the Bones season finale, airing May 14 on Fox! According to Emily Deschanel, "It should be surprising and good. The way it happens is surprising...I'm glad we waited this long. I think Hart [Hanson] wanted to find a clever way to put them together that wouldn't forever taint everything on the show, and I think he figured a very clever way to do it."

Michelle in Montana: Any Sons of Anarchy news?
Just that we need your help deciphering show runner Kurt Sutter's weekend blog post about some upcoming SOA casting: "Had a great meeting with an actor today whom I hope will be playing Ethan Zobelle. Zobelle is a new proprietor in Charming and the leader of an ultraconservative organization. Can't reveal any names until the deal closes, but this guy is a fascinating actor from a very talented family. That character shoots Friday, so I hope it closes early this week." Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's not happening anytime soon. Stana Katic teases, "We bring in another guy, an ex of mine, and he stirs up the pot a bit. We also discover a little bit more about her past, because Castle starts digging into it. He actually starts researching some of the files and finds out some interesting stuff on what happened to my mother." When it comes to the finale, Stana is tight-lipped, but says it ends with a cliffhanger, so here's hoping ABC picks up Castle for a second season.

Kaitlyn in Seattle: Will Conrad or Heylia make an appearance in season five of Weeds?
Jenji Kohan says, "Right now, it's not looking good. We have a lot of stuff to do. As much as we'd love to, Romany Malco is really busy, and I don't know necessarily where we'd fit them in. There are no plans as of yet." Bummer.

There's guest stars a-plenty coming up, including Clarke Peters (The Wire), Martin Landau, Richard Schiff and Sherilyn Fenn. Up first is Clarke in an episode about an architect of a faulty bridge.

Rick in Boston: What's coming up on Rescue Me?
Emotions run high in season five episode four (titled "Jimmy") as Tommy (Denis Leary) starts seeing his cousin Jimmy, who died on 9/11. The tough guy even heads to a psychic (Tommy?! Yep!), who claims to be able to communicate with the dead, to come to peace with his visions and his loss. It doesn't exactly work. Meanwhile, Sheila tries to purge Tommy from her life by making a bonfire of all of his photos. Ouch!

Janea in Queens, N.Y.: Any Better Off Ted scoop?
That show is hilarious, isn't it? The love triangle between Jay Harrington, Portia de Rossi and Andrea Anders continues. Says Jay, "Linda and Ted try to figure out if it's right for them, and Veronica puts in her two cents, which usually adds up to 20 cents." As far as the rest of this season, Jay teases, "I just lost my identity, and then we have a fight club that happens in the basement for Phil and Lem, but it's medieval. There are a lot of knaves and knights and princesses. Rose is out of town, so Ted gets involved. It's some pretty funny stuff."

Max in Hendersonville, N.C.: What's the scoop on the Numb3rs finale?
We just caught up with Navi Rawat at the Prism Awards, and she teased the big season finale, "Something really bad happens to Amita at the end of the second-to-last episode, and that flows into the season finale. It's a bit of a disaster. The cliffhanger ends with my character. She's put in a perilous situation, so it's up to Charlie (David Krumholtz) and the rest of the FBI team to come to her rescue if they can."

Lyric in Hollywood, Calif.: Monk is coming back soon, what can you dish?
In the eighth and final season, Monk's therapist, Dr. Bell, has a lot of work to do. Hector Elizondo teases, "I think eventually I may get Monk to unbutton his top button on his shirt."
