Homemade Taco Seasoning

Ingredients

6 tbsp dried minced onion
2 tbsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tbsp chili powder
1 1/2 tbsp flour or corn flour
2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp leaf oregano
2 tbsp ground cumin

Directions

Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

To use: Brown 1 pound of lean ground beef, drain fat. Add 1/2 tbsp of seasoning mix, 8 ounces of tomato sauce or water, and simmer for 15 minutes.

Basic (Fast) Iced Coffee

This recipe is for those who wants a simple glass of iced coffee without the wait and who may not have the time or inclination to create cold brewed coffee.

BASIC ICED COFFEE (1 serving)

Ingredients:

2/3 Cup of milk (Cold)
3 Tablespoons of water (Warm)
2 Teaspoons of instant coffee
1 Teaspoon of sugar
Ice (Crushed or cubed)

Directions:
Place the coffee and warm water in a cup and stir well. Add sugar and stir. Alternatively, place in a lidded jar and shake until foamy. Pour the content over a tall glass of ice. Pour the milk, stir and enjoy.
You can try chocolate syrup, caramel syrup. Sprinkle some cocoa powder or add a dollop of whipped cream topping.
