Who told you that you were naked?

Intro. One of the first things as a believer we have to understand, we can not believe ever thing that we hear. We must examine it with a fine tooth comb. Does that line up with the Word of God, is that inline with the will of the Father for me. What does God say about that? What would Jesus do?

Hsa 4:6---My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

a. Without the knowledge of the Word of God you can’t be a priest unto Him.

b. destroyed - to cease, cause to cease, cut off, destroy, perish; to be undone, be cut off at sight of the theophany (a visible manifestation of a deity (god)

c. Lack - have a need

d. Knowledge - perception (Power of observation-the ability to notice or discern things that escape the notice of most people) skill (ability to do something well- live); discernment (judgment, sensitivity), understanding (sympathetic, thoughtful, supportive), wisdom (good sense - the ability to make sensible decisions and judgments based on personal knowledge and experience with the Word of God.

Without the knowledge of God you have not the power to choose life.

Deu 30:19 ----I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Jhn 16:8 ---And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

a. reprove - to convict, refute, confute, a) generally with a suggestion of shame of the person convicted; b) by conviction to bring to the light, to expose; 2) to find fault with, correct

b. The Holy Spirit makes you aware of sin.

c. Jhn 14:26 -- But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

My voice is my word

a. Jhn 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.

b. This word of God is spirit which gives life.

c. The word of the antichrist is spirit which gives death.

d. John 10:10 amp The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

I. My sheep hear my voice

1. hear - to be endowed with the faculty means a capacity or ability that somebody is born with or learns or (power, ability, gift, talent) of hearing, not deaf

a. Most of the time an individual is born with the faculty to hear.

b. We pray all the time but this hearing of noise has to be distinguish.

c. We learn what sounds mean what, we learn our language,

d. We have to learn what every sound of the spirit means and the lanuage of the spirit.

e. Every sound has to be inturpt. Why, because every spiritual sound has a meaning.

f. You may say you are trying to get to deep.

g. But think about it there are sounds all the time in the physical most of them you don’t even response right. But some of them you have to respond.

h. Same way in the spirit we don’t respond to every sound but some you have to. And those are the ones we don’t want to miss.

Intro:

Few people make a deliberate choice between good and evil. The choice is between what we want to do and what we ought to do.
We have a free will
Wise people sometimes change their minds fools don’t
We chose to live by faith or fear.
We can operate by faith because of our will to choose.
Let’s see how the bible define faith

I. Angels can chose but not by faith.

A. Humans have a free will to choice, angles have a free will to choice

B. Humans are children of God and the angels are servants of God.

1. light- the power of understanding esp. moral and spiritual truth

1. God’s whole plan was for us to live thru. Jesus

c. Can you just image for a minute how lucifier was able to talk a third of the angels to come against God. Revelation 12:3, 4

The language is highly figurative, of course, and it's true that "numbers are not the issue," but many interpreters and informal Bible students alike take Satan to be the "fiery red dragon" of this passage, and his angels the "stars of heaven" that were thrown down to earth. IF SO, Satan appropriated a third of the angels to his service.

d. Jesus is our expmple to follow and the devil is our example no to follow.

II. Your faith has effect on more than you.

a. The Sadducees were the liberal theologians of that day, denying the resurrection of the body, the existence of angels, and miracles. In fact, their denials were more numerous than their affirmations

b. (Deut. 25:5). Under that law, if an Israelite died without leaving children, his brother was supposed to marry the widow to preserve the family name in Israel and keep the inheritance within the family.

c. Then came the question designed to humiliate Him who is the resurrection (John 11:25): “Therefore, in the resurrection, whose wife of the seven will she be? For they all had her.”

d. 22:25–28 Their riddle concerned a woman who lost her husband, then married one of his brothers. The second brother died, so she married the third—and so on, down to the seventh. Finally, the woman died. Then came the question designed to humiliate Him who is the resurrection (John 11:25): “Therefore, in the resurrection, whose wife of the seven will she be? For they all had her.”

e. 22:29 Basically, they argued that the idea of resurrection posed insuperable difficulties, hence it was not reasonable, therefore it was not true. Jesus answered that the difficulty was not in the doctrine but in their minds; they were ignorant of the Scriptures and the power of God.

f. First of all, they were ignorant of the Scriptures. The Bible never says the husband-wife relationship will be continued in heaven. While men will be recognizable as men, and women as women, they will all be like angels in the sense that they neither marry nor are given in marriage.

g. Secondly, they were ignorant of the power of God. If He could create men from dust, could He not as easily raise the dust of those who had died and refashion it into bodies of glory

C. Your faith is to be use for more than you.

III. One of the most powerful truths a believer have to understand is the devil can’t make them do anything.

Living by faith is a choice to put every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God first , not to tempt the Lord thy God, and to worship the Lord thy God only.

THE Kingdom of God TAKES IT BY FORCE

A. Man was created to have dominion and establish the Kingdom of God on earth.

1. Satan wanted to be like God and he was cast out of heaven because of his desire (Isaiah 14:12-15).

a. Man has authority in the earth and dominion over angels (Ephesians 1:22; Psalm 8:4-6).

b. Man was created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26, 27).

2. Man was created to share in God's dominion. Eventually the Kingdom of God will be turned back over to God (1 Corinthians 15:24).

3. Man has authority on earth.

B. God's kingdom is within you (Luke 17:21).

1. Your heart is the soil that receives the seed of God's Word.

2. If you are lacking something in your life (prosperity, healing, deliverance), "grow" it by planting the Word of God in your heart.

3. God's blessing is the "fertilizer" that grows the Word you have planted in your heart.

4. The Believer's job is to protect what has been planted in his or her heart.

a. Guard your eyes and ears and monitor what comes out of your mouth; don't speak words that are contrary to the Word of God.

5. Whether or not a person dominates in the Kingdom of God is determined by the type of seed planted and cultivated in his or her heart.

C. Satan uses the Kingdom of God system of seedtime and harvest to try and exert his will in your life.

1. Satan tries to invade your heart with his words.

a. He will use your eyes, ears and mouth as entry gates to get his words in your heart.

2. Don't let the world seduce you into thinking that words don't matter.

3. The battle is over the type of seed you allow in your heart.

D. The Christian's weapons against the enemy are not carnal, but spiritual. Cast down negative thoughts and tear down strongholds by speaking the Word of God (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

1. Strongholds are fortified "houses" of thoughts that have been nourished over long periods of time.

a. Strongholds will cause you to tell yourself, "This is just who I am and I can't change."

b. Words produce thoughts, which produce images that form the blueprint for construction of those images in your life.

c. Desires are created by the things on which you focus your attention.

i. Lust is an intense appetite or desire.

ii. Turn away from desires that go against the Word of God (1 Peter 2:11).

iii. If you allow yourself to develop an appetite for something apart from the Word of God, you create another war for your soul to fight; why create a new battle in your life?

2. Don't fight ungodly thoughts with positive thoughts; speak the Word of God to cast them down.

3. Become a good "custodian" over your thought life.

4. Train yourself to capture ungodly thoughts.

5. Hold on to the prophetic word that has been spoken over your life (1 Timothy 1:18, 19).

a. When you stop holding on to the Word of God, your faith will become shipwrecked.

6. Jesus won battles by speaking what was written in the Word of God (Matthew 4:3, 4).

a. God is not the tempter; Satan is.

b. God doesn't pressure people to do things. He allows us to make decisions of our own free will.

THE Kingdom of God TAKES IT BY FORCE

Mat 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

Intro:

The battle for the Kingdom of God is a battle over what type of seed you allow to grow in the soil of your heart. Satan wants you to believe his words over the Word of God so that he can exert his will in your life. Guard against his attacks by planting the incorruptible seed of God's Word in your heart and capturing negative thoughts immediately with the Word.

Isaiah 14:12-15

The Fall of Lucifer

¹² “ How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! ¹³ For you have said in your heart: ‘ I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; ¹⁴ I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ ¹⁵ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.

The Man of God pt 2

I. Who you listen to determines your domination in the earth.

1. Gen 3:8-11 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

II. God is still teaching us how to live in this earth today and dominate as mankind.

1. I believe this is the same thing God was teaching Adam in the garden to live an upright life before Him.

2. 2Ti 3:16-17 ¹⁶All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: ¹⁷That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

a. Profitable meaning superior position

b. Doctrine - teaching

c. for reproof - that by which a thing is proved or tested

d. for correction - restoration to an upright or right state

e. for instruction in righteousness - integrity, virtue, purity of life, correctness of thinking feeling, and acting

3. 2Ti 3:16-17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

a. perfect meaning fitted

b. strong and healthy

c. furnish or equip or supply

In closing: God told Adam to keep and protect the Garden?

He was to teach and show Eve and his family how to keep and protect the garden

The Man of God pt 1

The man of God

Intro: As a man God has placed a great responsibility upon us. The thing that we have to come to grip with is that it can only be accomplished in Him.

I know for me I have tried many times and some of them not knowing or realizing I was leaning to my on understanding.

Men are built to lead, to be the provider, the protector of the family, the one that knows what to do when no one else knows.

But only as God directs. That’s the part that was lost in the fall of mankind in the garden. The emery knew, he had to break that relationship.

Relationship meaning that association, that connection, that bond, or that link.

Take for example when you have been in a close association with someone for a period of time. Husbands and wives began to think alike; team mates began to think alike, co-workers began to think alike. When you spend time with someone you began to notice by their look what that are thinking.

So the enemy said I have to break this relationship up. Because the more he bond with God, the more he will be like God. And the easier he will be able to recognize me. The more I understand about holiness the more I know about being unholy.

Mal 3:6

For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

I. What was God’s original purpose in the beginning?

1. to teach Adam how to have dominion in the earth

2. Gen 1:26-28

3. 1Cr 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit.

4. 1Cr 15:47 The first man [is] of the earth, earthy: the second man [is] the Lord from heaven.

II. Mark 4:35-5:17 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. ³⁶ And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. ³⁷ And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. ³⁸ And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? ³⁹ And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. 1. What type of storm is you in that seem so great?

2. Is it s Doctors report, is it an economic situation, is it marriages problems, adultery, fornication, lying what is it that seems so great that your faith can’t handle.

3. 1Cr 10:11-13 ¹¹Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. ¹²Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. ¹³There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

III. How is it that you have no faith?

1. A question like that tells you that they should have been prepared.

2. You can ask anybody do they have faith in God. And the first thing they will say is they do.

3. How can I tell if I have faith in God? I will do what He says.

4. Faith along is not enough. You have to add to your faith.

5. Third, Peter's heavy stress upon the importance of "these things" is phenomenal.

Þ Note 2 Peter 1:12: Peter says that he is going to always preach these things despite the fact that the believer already knows them. But this is not all.

Þ Note 2 Peter 1:13: Peter says that as long as he is living, he is going to stir up the believers by reminding them of these things. But this is not all.

Þ Note 2 Peter 1:14-15: Peter says that these things are so important that he is going to see to it that the believers are reminded of them even after his death.

6. 2Pe 1:5 – 10

a. Add "virtue": moral excellence and goodness of character; moral strength and moral courage. It means manliness; being an excellent person in life, a real man or a real woman in life; living life just like one should, in the most excellent way. It means always choosing the excellent way.

b. Add "knowledge": practical intelligence, practical knowledge, practical insight. It means knowing what to do in every situation and doing it; it is practical, day to day knowledge that sees situations and knows how to handle them. It is seeing the trials and temptations of life and knowing what to do with them and doing it. Remember the charge: we must add knowledge to our faith. We must give diligent attention to the situations of life and figure out how to conquer them.

c. Add "temperance" : to master and control the body or the flesh with all of its lusts. It means self-control, the master of desire, appetite and passion, especially sensual urges and cravings. It means to be strong and controlled and restrained. It means to stand against the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eye and the pride of life (1 John 2:15-16).

Þ The believer is to know that self-control is of God, a fruit of the Holy Spirit.

d. Add "patience": endurance, fortitude, steadfastness, constancy, perseverance. The word is not passive; it is active. It is not the spirit that just sits back and puts up with the trials of life, taking whatever may come. Rather it is the spirit that stands up and faces life's trials, that actively goes about conquering and overcoming them. When trials confront a man who is truly justified, he is stirred to arise and face the trials head on. He immediately sets out to conquer and overcome them. He knows that God is allowing the trials in order to teach him more and more patience (endurance).

e. Add godliness is living like God and being a godly person. It is living life like it should be lived. God gave man life; therefore, God knows what life should be, and above all things life should be godly just like God. The word "godliness" actually means to live in the reverence and awe of God; to be so conscious of God's presence that one lives just as God would live if He were walking upon earth. It means to live seeking to be like God; to seek to possess the very character, nature, and behavior of God. The man of God follows and runs after godliness. He seeks to gain a consciousness of God's presence—a consciousness so intense that he actually lives as God would live if He were on earth.

Note: godliness means to be Christlike. Godliness is Christlikeness: it is living upon earth just as Christ lived.

f. Add "brotherly kindness": the very special love that exists between brothers and sisters within a loving family, brothers and sisters who truly cherish one another. It is the kind of love...

g. Add "love": the love of the mind, of the reason, of the will. It is the agapē love of God, the love that goes so far...

· That it loves regardless of feelings—whether a person feels like loving or not.

· That it loves a person even if the person does not deserve to be loved.

· That it actually loves the person who is utterly unworthy of being loved.

Living a Life of Contentment pt 1

Living a Life of Contentment

Intro: With so much going on in the world today, how can we live a life of contentment?

1. Last week we just had tarnish trying to board a plane with a bomb headed for the United States.

2. The out break of tornados we have had lately.

3. JP Morgan billions dollar lost that just happen.

4. Gas prices are just starting to fall, after being predicted to rise this summer.

5. A president that just openly admitted he is for same sex marriages.

6. And then top all that the economic position the world is in.

7. How do you stay content with so much devastation around you?

8. When we need answers to life and any other situation as a born again believer we should turn to the word of God for the answer.

9. Less look at two individuals that had a crisis in their life and less see how they handle it.

I. Less look at Paul when his money was funny.

1. Phil 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, [therewith] to be content.

2. learned meaning to learn by use and practice and to increase one's knowledge, to be increased in knowledge ( experience, familiarity, awareness)

3. content meaning independent of external circumstances, contented with one's lot, with one's means, though the slenderest

4. What are you learning?

5. To learn something that means someone was teaching.

6. What is God trying to teach you, using the situation that you are in right now?

7. Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

8. strengtheneth - to receive strength, be strengthened, increase in strength

Angel Power Confession

Because I am the righteousness of God, angels have been sent to minister to me. They respond to the Word of God which I speak. Therefore, I loose angels with the words of my mouth.

I say today, let the Lord be magnified who takes pleasure in my prosperity. In the name of Jesus, I command the angels to bring to me prosperity in my spirit, in my home, in my body, in my family life, and in my finances.

I declare promotion and command the angels to bring promotion into my life. I have a blood-bought covenant promise from God Almighty to multiply exceedingly. Therefore, I confess I am exceedingly fruitful and blessed, right now, in Jesus’ name! I command the angels of God to go and bring this covenant to pass in my life now! I have the power to get wealth, and release the angels to bring wealth into my life.

I declare right now that I am healthy, healed, delivered, and freed from the bondage of sin. I am the head always, and never the tail. I am above only, and never beneath. I lend, not borrow, and everything I put my hands to prospers.

I walk in the favor of God and my favor is increased even as I am speaking. I have more than enough money to pay every bill that comes in, and I declare I am totally debt-free now! I have the authority of Heaven and in the name of Jesus, I declare that whatever I bind on the Earth, is bound in Heaven, and whatever I loose on the Earth, is loosed in Heaven.

I am free from unforgiveness and I set my will to forgive anybody for anything, no matter what! I walk in the love of God toward everyone, no exceptions! I send my angels forth right now, to do God’s pleasure and bring these words to pass. Angels, go now, and minister prosperity unto me, in Jesus’ name!

Father, I thank You in advance for all You have done on my behalf. Like You, I’ve declared what will be and am committed to calling those things that be not as though they are. Right now I rejoice, and I’m exceedingly glad that you have granted to me the petitions I have requested, while I am yet speaking. My total life prosperity is settled now, and with great expectation, I will continuously speak faith-filled words, and allow my every word and thought to confirm what I believe I have received, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Better as a Christian

1. Your life should be better because you are a Christian

God’s desire for us is to be a hundredfold Christian.

3. Example: If you have a baseball batter at bat. He expects to hit the ball not thirty out of a 100 times at bat, nor 30 times out of a 100 at bat, but a 100 out of a 100 times at bat. If he doesn’t I don’t want him on my team.

4. God is no different He expects us every day to live without sin. He understands us being a work in progress but out ultimate goal is to live sinless.

5. After a batter strikes out, when his turn comes up again, his thoughts are okay you got me with that pitch last time now I am ready for that, lets see what you got now.

6. Some Christians before their feet ever hit the side of the bed, the devil already know you want be a problem at bat today. Why? You have already struck out in your mind.

1. Mat 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth [it]; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Use Your Words Wisely

1. The more we talk, the greater is the probability of saying something wrong. Compulsive talkers should beware! The lust for incessant conversation often leads to exaggeration, breaking of confidences, and associated sins. Trying to top someone else’s joke often mushrooms into off-color stories.

The man who exercises self-control in his speech is wise. He saves himself from embarrassment, apologies, and outright sin.

2. We as Christians should live a life of self control all the time.

3. Gal 5:22-23 ²²But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, ²³Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

4. When we allow the fruit of the Spirit to express himself in us we will always have a good attitude.

a. When we allow ourselves to have a bad attitude. We have left the Spirit and started to walk in the flesh.

5. A bad attitude can be from an unrenewed mind set.

a. We have to realize that if God is for us who can be against us.

b. An unrenewed mind doesn’t understand what 1Pe 5:7-8 means, Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

c. Stay alert church because your enemy is always looking for an opportunity to steal, kill and destroy.

I. Who is watching at my attitude?

1. Some of us think when the boss, the wife, the father, the mother, the police is not watching, it’s okay to do whatever I desire.

3. The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help. Psa 34:15

4. That’s right He saw that, God sees in the booth in the back where it is dark.

a. He’s watching me and I should be watching Him.

And this to shall come to pass. As you look back over your life you know now, that God was at work. There are some things that happen in my life I don’t remember how they worked out at the moment, but I do know that it came to pass.

Mat 24:35 says “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

1. Long as I stay in Christ everything that is not of Him will pass away.

2. Long as I stay on the right path this to shall pass away.

3. I will pass by this, in Jesus name.

4. Someone may ask you, Have you seen Ce Ce, and you may say, she just passed by here.

a. To pass means –go by, overtake, go beyond or leave behind.

5. Did Pharaoh choose to let the Israelites leave?

1. The person who only hears and knows the Word deceives himself. If a person thinks that he can hear and learn the Word of God and then go out and live like he wants, he deceives himself.

a. Thought 1. There are many who sit under the Word of God week after week, and they learn and know as much of the Word as anyone. They think that their listening and learning makes them acceptable to God, that it makes them safe and secure. When they slip into sin, they feel that they can ask God for forgiveness and that He will forgive them. They just feel that God would never reject them. But note something, the most critical fact: God does not accept us because we hear and know the Word nor because we confess our sins. Each of these are necessary and very important, but they are not enough.

Þ God accepts us because we confess and repent. Repentance means that we turn away from our sins and turn to God. God accepts us because we turn to Him and live for Him. When we believe God—really believe Him—then it is that we trust and follow Him and do exactly what He says.

2. The person who only hears and knows the Word soon forgets what he has heard. If a person does not practice what he learns, it soon fades from memory. It is just forgotten, and it never becomes a part of the person's life. He is like the person who looks in a mirror to see if he needs to do anything to his appearance, then walks away and thinks of something else and forgets the pimple or rustled hair that needed to be cared for.

a. Thought 1. How much like what happens so often. We hear the Word and are convicted of some defect, some shortcoming, some failure that we need to clean up. But as soon as we walk out from under the Word, we are distracted by the world and its affairs and we soon forget to do what the Word of God told us to do.

3. The person who hears and does the Word of God is blessed. Note that the Word of God is called the perfect law of liberty. This means that the Word of God will set a person free from the bondages of sin and death. The Word of God will free a person from all the temptations of this life and give him the full and victorious life for which his soul longs—a life that will continue on and on eternally with God.

A person who does and lives the Word of God will find that he is freed from all that enslaves his soul upon earth. He will discover love, joy, and peace—a soul that just soars with a sense of...

I am led by Your Spirit; therefore, I do not fulfill the evil desires of the flesh. I will never again be entangled in lustful thoughts or actions.

Your anointing-Your burden-removing, yoke-destroying power-has released me from this sin for good. I declare that no weapon formed against me will prosper or keep me from fulfilling my divine destiny. You began a good work in me and are faithful to complete it. Do You Know What Prayer Is ... and How to Pray?

Start using your faith on the little things and build yourself up to the point where you can believe for the bigger things. It is a process; it is progressive growth, and as you continue to grow, it will work.

Prayer of Intercession. (Romans 8:26) This is when you pray for somebody else totally and completely: and when you pray for someone else (or some other things) without knowing what the circumstances and situations are.

There are two sides of intercession - one where we get in agreement about somebody or something and pray for them in English, telling God what we want. The other - the very high end of intercession - is where you may not even know who you are praying for. The Holy Spirit will place a strong urge in your spirit to pray for something or someone. Sometimes the Lord may even place someone before you and you will have a mini-vision and see someone, but you do not know what you are supposed to pray about or you do not know their problem or what they need. This is where you get into true intercession, you will not do this in your native language, because you will not know what to pray for. This is what Romans 8:26 is referring to.

The Prayer of Praise and Worship. It is a prayer between you and the Lord, and all you are doing is telling Him how much you love Him, just like you do your sweetheart. You are not asking Him for anything. You are sending up a sweet savor unto Him or adoration, appreciation and thanksgiving.

Prayer of Consecration and/or Dedication. This is a prayer whereby you place yourself in a position to be used of God. You have to use "If it be Thy will" in this type of prayer, because you cannot find God's will in the Bible.

Example: When the Lord called me to preach the Gospel, there was no scripture in the Bible that I could go to and find my name, designating the exact place I would go to minister. So I had to pray a prayer of consecration and dedication and say, "Lord, You have called me and I accept and acknowledge Your call upon my life. I am prepared to do whatever You want me to do. If it be Thy will that I go to Long Beach, California, to establish a ministry, I am willing to go - not my will, but Thy will be done." What you are doing is placing yourself in a position to be used of God and giving Him license and acknowledging His claim over your life.

This was the type of prayer that Jesus prayed before He went to the cross. In Jesus' case, it was going to cost Him His life - not only physically, but it was going to cost Him by being separated from the Father God, and He had never known separation.

But you never use a dedication and consecration prayer when you are trying to pay your bills. If you tack an if it be Thy will onto a petition prayer, you are praying in doubt. To do so would be to cancel out the prayer.

Now that I have shared with you what prayer is and how to do it, you need to know what to do with what you know how to do. In other words, you can know how to start up an automobile, but that does not mean you know what to do with it once it gets started!

If you will learn to apply the following ingredients, I can guarantee you on the authority of the Word of God that every prayer you pray will be answered. (I am dealing here with petition prayer, which is the prayer that has to do with you and the Father - just the two of you):

Ingredient #1: Decide what you want from God; then find the scripture that promises you that.
If you do not know what you want, that is exactly what you are going to get - nothing. And that is why some of you have not received anything - because you have never been specific.

Your foundation for prayer is the clearly revealed Word of God. If you are praying outside the will of God, the prayer is doomed before it leaves your mouth. You find out whether it is outside God's will by finding out what the Word of God says. Do not pray for something if you cannot find scripture that promises you that. You will have to use wisdom in searching the scripture, because you are not going to find in there a Cadillac or a new Rolls-Royce or a new house on the hill specifically stated.
When you have decided what you want from God and the scripture that promises you that, and you are standing on that scripture, be prepared for a fight. If you are not prepared for a fight, you are not prepared to pray, because Satan is going to contest every inch of ground that you try to reclaim.

Ingredient #2: Ask God for the things that you want, then believe that you have them.
I did not say believe that you are "going to get them," but believe that you have them. That is present tense. It might not make sense, but we are not dealing with the senses, we are dealing with God's Word and with faith in His Word.

You must ask! There is no such thing as a silent or unspoken request. There is such a thing as silent in the sense that I might say something so softly and inaudibly as far as you are concerned that you will not verbally hear me say it, but I am still saying it. Even if I whisper - I am speaking.
Whether you hear me does not make any difference, as long as the main Man hears, and that is Who I am talking to. A whisper is not thinking, a whisper is talking - it is just not loud talking.

How did God create this world? The Bible says that God said, let there be, and behold there was. It did not say God thought. Nothing came into existence until after God said it. And nothing is coming to you until after you say it.

Ingredient #3: Let every thought and desire affirm that you have what you ask.
Guard against and resist the negative thoughts Satan will try to intimidate you with. Do not accept anything other than what you have asked for.

Some people do not have much patience, but you have to be prepared to stand for 10,000 years, if it takes that long, for the manifestation of your answer.

Ingredient #4: Thoughts are governed by or controlled by observation, association and teaching.
You need to stay away from all places and things that do not support your affirmation that God has answered your prayer. That means you might have to stay away from some churches, and from some Christian television and radio. I appreciate the wonderful things some men are doing, but you cannot listen to everything - not unless it affirms the fact that you have what you asked God for.
What affects your thinking will affect your talking, and what affects your talking will affect your faith, and what affects your faith will affect your life. Be careful what you read, and be careful who you associate with. You cannot afford to be around negative people. Love and pray for them from afar, but do not let them drag you down.

Never bring God's Word down to the level of human experience. Every experience must come up to God's Word. If the experience doesn't measure up to the level of God's Word, cast it out. Bring every thought into obedience to the Word of God. If you want to stay stable and consistent, you have to stay with the winner, the Word of God.

Ingredient #5: Think constantly on the promises on which you have based the answer to your prayer. (Proverbs 4:20)
If you take a steady diet of God's Word, it will keep you healthy. Do not think on the problem, think about the solution. Do not talk about the problem, talk about the solution. See yourself out of the problem. Base the solution on God's Word.

Ingredient #6: In your waking moments, think on the love, mercy, goodness and blessings of God, and it will boost your faith.
You talk about a shot of heavenly adrenaline, it will shoot your faith right up to the top. Think about how good He is. Constantly praise Him for what He is doing in your life. The word says, "Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord (Psalm 150:6). It will keep your faith vibrant.

Ingredient #7: Make every word relative to what you have asked a statement of faith. (Romans 10:17)
Make your word a statement of faith, rather than a statement of doubt and unbelief. God says you have enough faith so you say you have enough faith. Learn what God says about you in His Word.
In Christ by the power of His Spirit, you can finally find out who you are from the One Who created you. Come before God expecting to talk to the Father God and expecting that He will hear you and grant you the request that you ask Him when you make that request based on His Word. Make every statement a confession of faith, not a confession of doubt.

Titus 1:2: That scripture is telling us something very important. God cannot lie. If He cannot lie, then that means He can only tell the truth. If He can only tell the truth, when He tells me to pray and believe I receive and I shall have, bless God, it is on its way. I have it; it is mine!

You ought to know His will before you pray. If you do not, you do not have any business praying.
Remember, never put an if it be Thy will in a petition prayer or a prayer of agreement. You will be praying in doubt if you do. First find out His will, and what the covenant says about it, and pray the Word.

You can have a strong confidence in the fact that when God tells you to do something, you can count on it.

One reason many people have a difficult time believing the Word of God and standing on it with confidence, without any doubt, is because they are so used to not telling the truth, they do not believe anybody else can tell the truth, and that includes the Father God!

The reason I get all my prayers answered is because I pray the Word. I find out what He says about the need or desire I have which is consistent with a godly life and I just pray the Word. And the Bible says He confirms His Word with signs following. (Mark 16:20).

Since God is no respecter of person, and only confirms His Word, you, too, by praying correctly and living a godly life can receive an answer to every prayer you pray.

Do You Know What Prayer Is ... and How to Pray?

Most people, and this means Christians, do not even know what prayer really is and why it was instituted, so, of course, they do not know there is a right way and a wrong way to pray. Nor do they know there are different prayers for different circumstances. It is no wonder they never get their prayers answered!

Prayer is a means of communication and contact with your heavenly Father. Combined with faith in God's Word, prayer is a channel through which and by which His power can be released to meet our needs, allowing Him to get involved in our circumstances.

Prayer is not a Russian Roulette game that you play whereby sometimes you "hit it" (get answers) and sometimes you do not. You should be getting answers to every prayer you pray if you are praying correctly.
Although many Christians believe they know how to pray, there is a real lack of understanding about the operation of prayer, and therefore God is being falsely accused of things He had nothing to do with.

If you do not know how to do something, you will certainly not gain the benefits of having done it. Sometimes you can think you are doing something right and end up finding out you have been doing it in the wrong way.

Now God does not hear your prayer because you cry, whine, beg, or because you are on your knees, nor because you are sincere. He does not even hear you because you are in a church building. God hears your prayer because you pray in line with His Word.

For years I did not think God heard me if I did not get on my knees and have my hands folded and my eyes closed. I saw other people do that and I thought that was the proper way to pray. But God does not hear you because of your posture, nor because of how long your prayer is. You can pray standing on one foot and God will hear you! We have been locked into a lot of things because of tradition, not because we found those things in the Word of God.

There is a common consensus that God can do whatever He wants to do, but that is not exactly correct. He can do anything He good well pleases from the standpoint of having ability - because He is God. However, based upon the way He has designed this system to work - the world, man, the planet, the universe - He has built into it certain laws that govern and control it. So, in that sense, He cannot do anything that violates that law that He has set in motion. If He does, He is violating Himself and it means His law is no good. If His law is no good, He is no good.

Now this is the shocker! But God has to be given permission to work in this earth realm on behalf of man. And we give Him permission through prayer! You may say that is ridiculous, but it is true. And the reason why can be found in Genesis 1:26:

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

Let me give you this illustration: Let us say I have this beautiful gold watch and I decide to give it to another man. If I give it to him, whose watch is it now? And who no longer has it? It is now the man's watch, and he has a right to do whatever he wants to do with it. Now if I want to borrow it, I would need permission from that man. Then and only then could I wear it - and only because I have his permission.

What does dominion mean? It means "control, rule, reign, authority, possession." Yes! You are in control! So, if man has control, who no longer has it? God.

I know that sounds awesome, but it is true. He did not say, "Let us share dominion with man." He said, "Let them (man) have dominion." Where is the dominion? Over everything that is in the earth. If man has dominion, then God does not; and God can not come and wear my watch, so to speak, unless I let Him by permission - through prayer.

Do you honestly think God has this world messed up the way it is? The earth is messed up because of us. We have been given control!

When He said give them dominion, and so forth, He did it through a representative, and the representative was Adam, and his wife, Eve. But a "con man" named Lucifer (commonly known as Satan or the devil) came along and talked this woman, Eve, into eating the forbidden fruit. Then the woman gave some to her stupid, dumb husband.

The woman did not have the authority; Adam did. He used the ploy of getting to the woman to get to Adam. And when Adam sinned by disobedience, he gave the watch, so to speak (remember my illustration), to the devil. So, it is no longer Adam's. Adam no longer has dominion, but the one that he gave it to has dominion - and that is the devil. The Bible says he is the god of this world. He is not the God of all the ages, but he is the god of this world. He is in control of the world system. That is why the world is so messed up.

When God gave Adam dominion, that meant God no longer had dominion. So, God cannot do anything in this earth unless we let Him. And the way we let Him or give Him permission is through prayer.

How does God have permission? Because Adam represented all mankind. But Adam did it in a negative way. Then God sent the "last Adam" - Jesus Christ. Why is Jesus called the "last Adam"? Because He is a representative person and He acted on behalf of mankind. Now every man who accepts Jesus, accepts what Jesus did, and accepts God's plan and accepts God's Fathership; then he becomes a son of God and has a right to everything that God has created, because He originally created it for Adam.

How do we get God present in the circumstances of our life? Through prayer and faith working in conjunction with each other. When we invite Him into our situation through prayer and faith, we give Him the opportunity and the permission once again to get involved in this earth realm on our behalf.
I went through four different denominations over a 17-year period, and I never heard any such thing as I have just told you! Nor did I hear anything about how to pray, nor the fact that there are different kinds of prayer. They just said pray. In fact, what they would say is pray harder. I did not even really know how to pray, let alone pray harder. How do you pray harder when you do not know how to pray?

I thought you just beg God, and if you do it long enough, maybe He will give you what you ask for. But He does not work that way.

I do not care how sincere you are or how big your need is, God does not respond to your need; He responds to His Word through prayer and faith. Your need will get His attention, but He does not move on the basis of your need.

There are certain Biblical rules and principles regarding prayer, but some people act like they have spiritual infantile paralysis! They cannot comprehend spiritual things, yet they operate in rules and principles in their daily lives. We are precise when it comes to anything we call worldly, but when it comes to spiritual things dealing with God, we want to argue, fuss and fight!

I used to think praying was praying. But I found out there are different kinds of prayer for different kinds of circumstances, and each kind of prayer has its own spiritual rules that govern it. You have to know the rule that governs the kind of prayer you are using or it will not work!

Illustration: Football, baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, field and track are all classified as sports. But you cannot play baseball with track and field rules. And you cannot play tennis with basketball rules. Different rules govern the games. In tennis, you do not shoot baskets, you hit a ball back and forth across the net.

Think now of prayer under one classification: "sports prayer": there is football prayer, baseball prayer, basketball prayer, tennis prayer, golf prayer, and field and track prayer. Just as there are different rules that govern golf and tennis, there are spiritual rules that govern different kinds of praying. Let me present them to you:

Prayer of Agreement. This involves more than one person getting into agreement in prayer about one particular thing they are believing God for.

Matthew 18:19 gives the rule that governs that kind of prayer. It says, "…If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."

According to the scripture, it is a prayer for people who live on earth! And it says they have to ask. And they have to be in agreement in asking it. She cannot ask for a Lincoln Town Car when he is asking for a Corvette. They must agree or it will not work!

This is one of the greatest ways for a husband and wife to pray. Because if anybody ought to be in agreement, it ought to be the husband and wife.

Prayer of Faith Petition Prayer. Mark 11:24 is the scripture that governs this prayer. This prayer is a petition to God for you. "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

Notice that in this prayer, it is all about you. Some people want to pray this on somebody else - like their husband or wife. "I am believing my husband gets filled with the Holy Ghost and will speak with other tongues." Now the husband is totally opposed to this and he has told her so. He does not want anything to do with those tongue-talkers, but his wife is very zealous. She wants him filled and speaking according to the Bible. You cannot do that! Not and use this scripture, because the rule to this "basketball prayer" game - not "tennis prayer" - says "Therefore I say unto you!…"

Matthew 21:21 and 22 actually parallels Mark 11:24 in regard to the prayer of faith/petition prayer. Verse 22 says, "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Jesus did not say that you would receive something that resembled what you prayed for. No! He said whatever you ask, you get that. He did not say see that you receive them. He did not say understand that you receive them. And He certainly did not say, feel like you receive them. He said, believe it.
You say, "How can I believe that I am healed when my body still feels like it is sick?" Simple. Are you gainfully employed? I dare say that 95 percent of all jobs do not give you any money until after you have worked 40 hours.

And when a relative asks, you are not ashamed to say, "I got a job and I am going to get paid on Friday." How can you say you are going to get paid $250 per week when you have not seen the money? "Yes, but Brother Price, the man told me that he was going to pay me." Well, I am here to tell you that the Man said if you believe, you receive it; you will have it. It is the same principle.
You do not really know if your employer has the money in the bank to pay you at the end of 40 hours, but you are trusting in his word. Why can not you give God equal time?

When you operate in the prayer of faith, there is no sight - meaning no physical senses involved. And that is where many people miss it because they are bound by their senses . . . . "I do not feel like it." Or "I do not understand it," etc.

But Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." If you see it, you do not need any faith, because faith is the evidence of things not seen.
What is evidence or proof? Evidence or proof takes the place of the thing that it is the evidence or proof of until the thing gets there. Once that thing arrives, you do not need any more evidence of it, because you now have it. If faith is my evidence of things not seen, that means that I cannot look to anything in the sense realm to validate my faith. I have to look to a higher source, which is the Word of God. My faith is based on the Word of God, which changes not, but your feelings, your experiences, and emotions change. Everything changes, but the Word of God remains the same.
You cannot pray effectively or intelligently without knowing the will of God. And we know the will of God by knowing the word of God - because God's will is revealed in God's Word.

First John 5:14 and 15: "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him."

If you do not know God's will, then you have not been reading the Bible, because that is how He makes His will available to you.

Now if you have confidence that you have prayed according to God's will, you should be confident that He heard you, and therefore, you should not pray for the same thing a second time, because that is like saying you did not get it the first time.

Here is a good example of how you can pray the Prayer of Faith Petition Prayer, using Mark 11:24 as your rule:

Monday morning: You get up and say, "heavenly Father, You said in Your Word 'What things soever I desire I can have.' I desire a new pair of shoes. In the name of Jesus, I now pray and I believe that I receive a pair of new shoes. You said when I pray to believe I receive. I now believe that I receive a pair of brand new shoes, and now, You said I shall have it. I want to thank You. I believe that I now receive it.

Tuesday morning: The shoes have not come, so in your prayer you say, "Father, I just want to remind You and thank You that I believe that I received my shoes on Monday. I believe that I have them and I thank You for them."

Wednesday morning: "Father, I thank You and praise You. I believe I received my shoes on Monday. I want to thank You. I believe that I have them. I am not 'going to get' them. I believe that I have them by faith."

Thursday - Sunday: Pray the same prayer: "Father, I want to thank You. I praise and glorify Your name, and I want to remind You that I believe that I received my shoes last Monday. I believe that I have them now and I thank You for them."

Monday morning: There is a knock on the door and the delivery man says, "Mr. Price, I have a pair of shoes for you - no charge, sign here." I sign for the package and I go before the Father and say, "Father, I want to thank You. I now have my shoes as a physical fact." That is the end of that prayer transaction. That is the way it works, no matter what it is - healing, a new job, a new car.

Debt-Free Confession

We, the body of Believers, declare we have been carved out for an end-time expression of El Shaddai, the God of abundance and no lack. We are taught how to live independent of this world system and how to have dominion over it, therefore, in Jesus’ name, we declare we are debt-free! The spirit of debt is destroyed over our lives and over this local church because of the anointing.

We are the lender and not the borrower, the head and not the tail. We are blessed coming in and blessed going out. The Father daily loads us with benefits and causes His blessings to overtake us. Wealth and riches are in our house and we increase more and more. God has given us power to get wealth to establish His kingdom here in the earth and millions are now hearing the gospel and receiving Jesus as Lord.

We are plenteous in goods, for God has given us richly all things to enjoy. The blessing of the Lord has made us rich, adding no sorrow with it. We are joint heirs with Jesus Christ and Abraham’s blessings belong to us. We are Holy Millionaires and we walk in God’s wisdom, exercising sound judgment and stewardship over this wealth. We sow bountifully, therefore, we reap bountifully.

We give and it is given unto us good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. We have the wealth of the wicked and we owe no man anything, but love! The devourer is rebuked for our sakes and he cannot destroy the fruits of our ground.

All these promises are ours by faith and faith works by love, so we constantly walk in the light, in love, in the Word and the wicked one touches us not. Our hearts are fixed, trusting in the Lord. We hold fast to our confession of faith.

We are "THE DEBT-FREE REDEEMED OF THE LORD" and we say so,
in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Confession of Favor

In the Name of Jesus, I am the righteousness of God. Therefore, I am entitled to covenant kindness and covenant favor. The favor of God is among the righteous. The favor of God surrounds the righteous. Therefore, it surrounds me everywhere I go and in everything I do. I expect the favor of God to be in full manifestation in my life.

Never again will I be without the favor of God. It rests richly upon me. It profusely abounds in me. I am a part of the generation that is experiencing God's favor immeasurably, limitlessly, and surpassingly. Therefore, favor produces supernatural increase, promotion, restoration, honor, increased assets, greater victories, recognition, prominence, preferential treatment, petitions granted, policies and rules changed, and battles won in which I do not have to fight.

The favor of God is on me and goes before. Therefore, my life will never be the same. This is the time of God's favor in my life.

That is the favor of God. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer for Compatibility in Marriage

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray and confess that my spouse and I endure long and are patient and kind; that we are never envious and never boil over with jealousy. We are not boastful or vainglorious, and we do not display ourselves haughtily. We are not conceited or arrogant and inflated with pride. We are not rude and unmannerly, and we do not act unbecomingly. We do not insist on our own rights or our own way, for we are not self-seeking or touchy or fretful or resentful. We take no account of the evil done to us and pay no attention to a suffered wrong. We do not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but we rejoice when right and truth prevail.

We bear up under anything and everything that comes. We are ever ready to believe the best of each other. Our hopes are fadeless under all circumstances. We endure everything without weakening. Our love never fails - it never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end. We purposely and consciously walk in the agape love of God.

We are confessing that our lives and our family's lives lovingly express truth in all things that we speak truly, deal truly, and live truly. We are enfolded in love and have grown up in every way and in all things. We esteem and delight in one another, forgiving one another readily and freely as God in Christ has forgiven us. We are imitators of God and copy His example as well-beloved children imitate their father.
Thank You, Father, that our marriage grows stronger each day because it is founded on Your Word and on Your kind of love.

We give You the praise for it all, Father, in the name of Jesus.
