Hello, friends...It has been a while since the last time I posted here and I'm truly sorry about that.I mostly share my latest projects on Instagram and Facebook. So, if you're also a follower there you would probably have seen them already :)I still love sharing here but I just keep on forgetting lolI hope to remedy that in the coming days..weeks.. yes, hopefully, it won't take months again before I upload here haha
For now, I wanted to share this latest layout I made for Mintay Papers.. and YES, I am on the Mintay Papers Design Team since January of this year!!! Lots of changes especially on a few design teams I was on and Mintay Papers is a very wonderful addition. I have a couple of good news in the coming future and I'm excited to share them with you all when the time comes.
So, back to my Mintay Paper scrapbook layout... :)
I used the Better Times collections for this one and it's one of my faves because of the bright and cheerful colors and beautiful designs (which is a given, all of Mintay Papers designs are gorgeous).

I created a bit of texture on the background with some modeling paste and watercolors. I used a template/stencil from Kaisercraft.

Mintay Papers is perfect for fussy cutting lovers like me... tons of papers with patterns/images you can cut.

Lots of dimensions here too using foam tapes :)

Hello, friends. I have a new project to share for The Cutting Cafe. Regina made a new template + cutting files set and it's really easy to assemble. I didn't use my Cameo but it's all up to you if you prefer that.
2020 Calendar Printable Set With Holder

I made some changes like adding a clear pocket for the small calendar piece to show through.

I punched some circles and adhered to the top of the calendar piece so it can easily be pulled and changed for a new month.

You can slide the box inside and you can place stuff like small note pads or clips etc.

Papers and die cuts used are from Truly Grateful collection (Paige Taylor Evans - Pink Paislee).

Here is what I made for today's fun blog hop.

A scrapbook layout with a simple mixed media background.

I wanted to create a wreath design incorporating some fussy cut leaves and a painted "wreath shape". I used a couple of Haute Mess Acrylic Paints (Broken Doll and Distortion) to create the circle shape for the wreath design. Dried brush Broken Doll and I diluted the Distortion acrylic paint with a bit of water. Then once it has dried, I used the Haute Mess Molding Paste and a stencil to add texture in the middle of the wreath.

From a couple of previous CK holiday kits, I chose papers that I can fussy cut patterns from. I fussy cut some leaves from a Crate Paper Merry Days patterned paper and arranged them following the painted wreath design. I also fussy cut some leaves from another Crate Paper Merry Days paper and mounted them with foam tape for a bit of dimension.

I placed the photo over a white doily and some messy thread. Started adding stickers and die cuts for embellishment. I also added this bow at the bottom of the wreath and placed the die cut "Merry Christmas" as the layout title.

I love adding details like this tiny clip bow from Bella Blvd and glittery gold snowflakes and fussy red pom-poms. Too cute!

Then lastly, I added some more texture with the Haute Mess Glass Bead Gel. I just used my fingers to spread it around the wreath design.

The Cutting Cafe: Fall Pillow Boxes

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I last posted here. Let's remedy that with a new project for The Cutting Cafe. I used TCC's Fall and Thanksgiving Greeting Pillow Boxes - template and cutting files. "Thankful" Pillow Boxes

I actually used my Cameo this time! I had a bit of struggle but I managed to get a decent cut lol! I exported the PDF file included in the set to Adobe Photoshop and converted it to a PNG file.

I used Pink Paislee's Again and Again collection and simply embellished with som fussy cut florals and satin trims, laces & twine.

The Cutting Cafe: NEW Backpack Template and Cutting File

Hello, friends!
Been a long time since my last post and I'm so sorry about that. Now, we're going to rectify that with a new project!
Regina of The Cutting Cafe created a new backpack template and it's really cute!
Here is my take on it...

This paper from the Truly Grateful collection from Paige Evans is perfect for this backpack template. It can be given to a student or a teacher, right? I am planning to give this to my daughter's Kindergarten teacher next week and will fill it with some pens, washi tapes, note pads.. whatever will fit! haha!

I kind of missed cut the pocket on the front. So it's a bit short at the bottom hence the space in the closure.

I love the color combination I did here. It's so refreshing and so bright!

The Cutting Cafe: Christmas Bag Topper

Hello, friends! I have a new project and it's a Christmas-themed one! I can't believe Christmas is nearly around the corner... how time flies!!
I used the Christmas Bag Toppers cutting file and template set. I just hand cut everything so you can easily do that as well if you don't have an electronic cutting machine (I do have one but I am lazy at times lol!)

Here is my take on this template!

I also used an old Clique Kits Christmas kit, I think this is from last year if I'm not mistaken. Features Fa La La from Crate Paper.

The Cutting Cafe: Assorted Shapes Milk Carton Set

Hello, friends!

Sharing my project for The Cutting Cafe using the Assorted Shapes Milk Carton Set.

I thought it's also great as an embellishment gift box.

(The bows were from the Bow Tie with a slit templated and cutting set and Assorted Box Topper set.)

There are several shapes for the window. I used the square one since it's easier to cut with scissors or a cutter. Then I simply tied a ribbon to easily seal and open the box.

The Cutting Cafe: Donut Fun Templates and Cut Files

Hello, friends!

I have a new super fun and super cute project for The Cutting Cafe. Arent' these the cutest??? I love these new Donut Fun templates and cutting files.

For the first box, I used the printables and templates to create the box and cover. I printed then cut with my scissors.

I used the bow from the Bag Topper Templates and Cutting File set for the second box.

Instead of using ribbon or trim, I opted to cut a strip of paper like a sleeve that can easily slide off the box. I adhered the bow on top as well as the sentiment.

The Horizon papers are perfect for a fun and happy box for a special someone.

The Cutting Cafe: Coffee or Tea?

Hello, friends!
Today, I'm sharing a new project for The Cutting Cafe.
I used the TEA BOX HOLDER TEMPLATE AND CUTTING FILE SET
"This TEA BOX HOLDER template and cutting file come with a skinny box and a wide box.
The skinner box is good for the regular small sized Lipton Tea Bags and the wider box is good for the medium size tea bags sold at most grocery stores.
Each box also comes in 4 and 6-inch heights - you can adjust the heights to fit your needs.
The set also comes with 19 sentiments and 3 other images.
The file comes in the following formats: PDF, SVG, MTC, and WPC.
The sentiments come in PDF and JPEG formats."

I used products from one of my previous Clique Kits with Webster's Pages and Kaisercraft papers.

I opted to embellish the top cover with bows instead of ribbons. The bows were from the Bow Tie Ribbon Template Set and the Assorted Bag Topper Set (I used the bow topper).

This was a fun template to play with and a perfect gift or token for someone who loves tea.

You can even convert this as a candy dispenser!

Paperless Post: Magical Unicorn Birthday Invitation

Hello, friends!
I have something interesting to share with you all today and I'm really thrilled I've learned about Paperless Post. They offer online invitations, cards, and flyers (you can try the latter for a limited time). They have tons of beautiful and trendy designs.
Those of you who know me would remember that I also dabble into digital scrapbooking. So it's like just second nature when I try designing invitations or cards from my computer. But it takes a lot of time and sometimes, it gets frustrating.
So imagine my excitement when Paperless Post was introduced to me. I knew I'd love it right away.
For my first try, I chose to design a kid's birthday invitation and of course, I have to use a unicorn-themed one because it's my daughter's fave at the moment.

Creating the invite was very easy. After choosing the theme I followed the instructions and customized my invite to my liking. You have the option to send the invite right away or schedule sending it at a later date. This is an online invitation so you will need your guests' email addresses. This customized invitation cost 6 coins per recipient. You can purchase coins packages when you are ready to send.

It's really cute, right?! I will definitely use this platform in the future!

The Cutting Cafe: Calendar Notebook

Hello, lovelies!

I wanted to share this calendar notebook I made using The Cutting Cafe's folded calendar templates.

I just followed the instructions on how to adhere the folded panels before putting all the calendars in place.

But instead of creating a folded calendar, I actually made it into a notebook-type. I adhered the backside of the panels as well as the middle part and reinforced it with a strip of paper covered with glittery turquoise washi tape.

I made the closure with a strip of paper and cardstock. I only attached the side at the back cover and created a slot to insert the other side to the front cover.

I also added a pocket at the back to store the note papers and notepads.

I used an adhesive plastic sheet to make the covers sturdier as well as the strap closure.

Here is a slideshow of all the calendar pages inside.
