We worship God together at 11:00 am on Sundays. We pray together, praise God together, listen to God's Word together. We share the meal together and love each other. We are God's family through the blood of Jesus Christ.

This Saturday is the Christmas Eve. This day is the day when we celebrated Jesus' birth. We will have a potluck party. You can bring your best dish to share with other friends. You can bring a side dish, a drink, or a snack too.

A small grammatical particle makes great influence!

Now those who had been scattered by the persecution in connection with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, telling the message only to Jews. Some of them, however, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus. The Lord's hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord. (Acts 11:19-21)

Every pastor’s dream could be having a big congregation. We pursue a church growth. Then, we may have to ask the question how we can have a congregation which will grow spontaneously.
We can find a great strategy for a big congregation from this passage. In this passage, we can notice two grammatical particles, only (monon in Greek) and also (kai in Greek). When some Jews told the message only to Jews, no particular thing happened. But, when some Gentiles from Cyprus and Cyrene told the good news about the Lord Jesus to another Gentiles, Greeks also, the Lord’s hand was with them, and there were a great number of people believed.

We had a monthly fellowship last night at Westside senior center. We had about 20 people gathered together and shared a Korean mixed rice (Bi-Bim-Bap). At the end, we shared the Bible story, Creation to Christ. It was a joyful time together. We are very grateful those who came to our fellowship last night.

We had a great party last night. We had many international friends with us to celebrate the Chinese moon festival. We had so many delicious dishes. We are so grateful for those who came to our party and brought dishes to share together. We would like to thank Mr. Yao and Anya who talked about the Chinese culture and Korean culture about the moon festival. We hope that we can make more international bridges throughout this year.

September 22nd this year (August 15th in Lunar calendar) will be the Chinese moon festival day. Koreans are celebrating at the same day too. Therefore, we are going to celebrate together today at Westside senior center. We will have some Chinese food and Korean food as well as Chinese and Korean moon cakes.

Who am I?

In 1988, I came to Madison, WI as an international student for Ph. D study in Chemistry. At that time, I was a Buddhist. We were going to a Korean Church in order to make friends. There was a Christian group nearby my house. One day, the group visited my house, and we listened to a testimony by a Korean pastor. He talked about his experience that he wanted to be a Buddhist monk. His testimony stirred up my heart. Therefor, I started reading the Bible from Genesis to see who Jesus is or who God is. However, Genesis was a difficult book to me. Then, I started reading New Testament from the Gospel of Matthew. There were many stumbling blocks during my Bible reading. But, I could find many answers from the Bible study among the Christian group. When I was reading the New Testament, I met an extraordinary man, Jesus. He claimed that He is the Son of God. After struggling for several months, I finally knelt down to Jesus and accepted Him as my Savior and Lord.

Hello, Friends!

We had so many international friends at our block party on July 4th, 2010 at Oscar Rennebohm Park. We would like to thank all of you who came to our block party. We are so grateful to North Carolina friends who did wonderful job for our block party.

Our main goal for the block party is to tell you that Brotherly Love International Church exists in order to introduce Jesus to all the internationals in Madison.

I told my life story to you at the block party. I would like to hear your life story too. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
