What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet.
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call'd,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title...

Let there be light

I saw Eternity the other night,
Like a great ring of pure and endless light,
All calm, as it was bright

And round beneath it, Time in hours, days, years
Driv'n by the spheres
Like a vast shadow mov'd ; in which the world
And all her train were hurl'd.
The doting lover in his quaintest strain
Did there complain ;
Near him, his lute, his fancy, and his flights,
Wit's sour delights ;
With gloves, and knots, the silly snares of pleasure,
Yet his dear treasure,
All scatter'd lay, while he his eyes did pour
Upon a flow'r

He wants you to look

Red Rose

Red rose, (c) CC att. Galleries of Images

You love the roses - so do I. I wish
The sky would rain down roses, as they rain
From off the shaken bush. Why will it not?
Then all the valley would be pink and white
And soft to tread on. They would fall as light
As feathers, smelling sweet: and it would be
Like sleeping and yet waking, all at once.

Tiled Cactus Painting

New Tiled Cactus Painting

Based on yesterday's picture I just had to show that Photoshop can also be used to create a New Tiled Painting instead of something as extraordinary as the New Mesh From Grayscale Sphere.

New Mesh From Grayscale Sphere

An interesting image that makes me think about the human mind. Actually it's a cactus as we will see tomorrow, but with "a little bit" (only one operation) of Photoshop.
