It is an unfortunate part of the aging process, in many cases. However, this is not always the case. In some instances, there are other underlying problems that can cause a loss of hearing. Some of these causes can be remedied quite easily, once they have been discovered. Other causes can be remedied with surgery, or with the help of hearing aids. What are the underlying causes of many forms of hearing damage?

Swimmer's Ear - This is actually an infection of the inner ear canal caused by bacteria. The most common cause of swimmer's ear is overexposure to moisture, thus the name. If your inner ear remains in frequent contact with water, it can be easy to develop this condition. While the condition can be treated quite easily in its early stages, waiting too long to treat it can actually cause permanent damage to your ear and, thus, to your hearing.

Earwax - Your ears naturally produce wax. This substance, though considered gross, is actually quite helpful. It is part of your body's defense system, much like mucous in your nasal passages. The job of earwax is to trap dirt and debris, keeping it from infiltrating deep into the ear. However, in some cases, wax can buildup to unhealthy levels within your ear and cause hearing loss. Luckily, excess earwax can be very easily taken care of, but you will need to visit your doctor to determine if this is the actual underlying cause of your hearing problems.

Middle Ear Infection - An infection of the middle ear is actually a relatively common occurrence. Of course, it is seen more frequently in young children, but it can present in adults, as well, particularly if that person has a history of ear infections. In most cases, these infections will go away on their own, but severe infections can damage hearing, and create a seemingly permanent loss of this faculty. If you feel that you have an ear infection, visiting your doctor will help you find the right remedy.

Eardrum Damage - This is one of the most common causes of hearing loss. A ruptured eardrum will certainly create a loss of hearing, and it can also create pain and discomfort. In addition, it can put you at greater risk for developing middle ear infections. In most cases, such ruptures will heal on their own, over the course of several weeks, though surgery is sometimes required to ensure that a severely ruptured eardrum heals correctly.

These are only a few of the causes of hearing loss that may affect you. If you feel that your hearing is less than it should be, or you have noticed a dramatic decrease your ability to hear things around you, the best option is to visit your doctor. You might also consider visiting an ENT or an audiologist to determine the underlying causes and the right treatment for your loss of hearing, as well.
We all know what they do in theory-they help a person who is hearing impaired improve their abilities. However, what is the actual mechanism involved? These aids are not the ear's equivalent of eyeglasses. They do not provide "correction" for those that are hard of hearing. There is currently no device or medicine that can "cure" one of a hearing disorder.

What these aids can do is amplify naturally occurring sounds so that they can be easily heard. There is some level of sophistication involved. A primitive process of sound amplification could result in noise that is painfully loud. So a hearing device must be custom-made and adjusted to fit a hearing-impaired person.

These devices can help a person to understand speech in regular conversations and also to hear some background noise. All aids have volume switches that can be easily accessed through remote control. Contrary to popular belief, not all hearing aids are bulky devices that are embarrassing to wear out in public. Some aids are so small that they can barely be detected by others.

The power and make of the aid will depend on the individual's level of hearing loss, as well as how much noise can still be heard. For example, some aids amplify only high pitched consonant noises. Others will highlight low-pitched noises. There are also devices for hearing loss that can completely remove background noise. The best hearing devices on the market utilize multiple microphone technology to enhance hearing ability.

So don't be afraid that these aids are going to be life changing or even life threatening. These devices do not alter your ears nor do they affect any auditory system function. These hearing devices cannot distinguish sounds; this is the role of the brain. The brain distinguishes sounds and suppresses other sounds in order to provide a good balance of perspective.

Another issue to consider when thinking about hearing loss solutions is that of dual aids. While most people might only think of using one aid at a time, the facts show that if both ears are used for hearing (and used to their fullest capacity), the brain processes sounds more efficiently. In addition, there is less fatigue to report.

What happens if you ignore problems with hearing? No, you won't die or physically endanger yourself. However, you will be depriving yourself of one of the greatest gifts of life. Your ability to hear is responsible for some of the greatest memories of your life. You first fell in love because of someone's voice. You remember your greatest achievements and the sound of adulation coming from your peers. You remember the sound of old pets and of children and grandchildren.

When you lose your hearing and do not seek out hearing aids, you have surrendered a significant part of your life. Why not keep all of your senses and continue to experience some wonderful memories? Hearing devices are low-cost and readily available. Talk to a doctor or on aid company for more details on how to get started.

If your audiologist or other hearing healthcare professional recommends binaural amplification or the use of two hearing devices, consider his or her advice carefully.

Depending on the type of hearing impairment you have, it's possible the use of two aids could be much more beneficial than wearing just one. This is especially true if you have hearing loss in both ears, even if it's at different levels.

Binaural amplification can improve hearing in a variety of ways. You may experience a better hearing range, enhanced sound quality, a more consistent tone and less deterioration of your hearing by utilizing two aids instead of one.

Utilizing two hearing devices, you may be better able to locate the source of sounds as well as the direction it's coming from. It could be easier to hear what direction traffic is coming from, locate the cell phone you set down based on the sound of its ring, or figure out where your dog is barking in the house.

It may also be easier to hear and understand words in a noisy environment, and overall hearing can improve in instances where there is significant background noise.

Individuals who take advantage of binaural amplification may be able to hear softer sounds they would miss with only one hearing aid, including soft voices and environmental sounds in nature. Many individuals find it is also easier to distinguish sounds with two hearing devices, such as different bird calls or different instruments in an orchestra.

Wearing two hearing devices instead of one, it's likely you'll strain less to hear and enjoy more balanced hearing. When both ears are able to hear instead of just one, it may be much easier to follow and more enjoyable to participate in conversations.

Oftentimes, people who wear two hearing devices can hear better with lower volumes. This helps reduce distortion and amplified sounds are more accurately and thoroughly reproduced.

These are just some of the many advantages individuals may experience with binaural amplification. To see for yourself just how much better your hearing could be, try utilizing two hearing devices instead of one temporarily. If you're like many people, you'll notice a whole host of improvements you won't want to miss out on.

Despite the benefits of wearing two instead of just one hearing aid, people often balk at the suggestion at least initially. They mistakenly assume it will be easier to adjust to wearing a hearing device if there is only one to deal with.

Unfortunately, the minimal benefit they receive from wearing one aid alone leads them to give up on hearing devices altogether. This is an unnecessary mistake you can avoid by taking your hearing healthcare professional's advice about using two aids right from the start.

Cost is another reason people forego using two hearing devices. Yet in the long run, paying for one hearing aid that doesn't work well alone is a poor investment. A better option is to work out a way to fit the cost of two aids into your budget.

New Help for Tinnitus.

The constant buzzing, hissing and ringing in your ears plagues you at all times of the day and night, making you depressed and anxious, driving you crazy. What would you not give to get help for tinnitus and to get your life back again? Well the great news is, you can with the new help for tinnitus that is now available. This article reveals just what it's all about.

Around 66 million Americans suffer from tinnitus. Tinnitus has many causes, including inflammation of the ear, brain lesions, stress, Menieres disease, exposure to loud music and so the list goes on. Tinnitus is also experienced differently by different people. This is one of the reasons why doctors find tinnitus so difficult to treat. Have you ever been told by your doctor that you "just have to live with it"? The good news is that you don't as help for tinnitus is finally here.

Tinnitus is not a disease. It's just a sign that an area of the body is not working as it should. Find the cause of your tinnitus, what the body is not happy with and you will find the help for tinnitus you so desperately need. Very often where medication is causing the ringing or buzzing in the ears, a change of medication is all that's required to stop it. In cases however where the cause of the ringing is not known, the most effective help for tinnitus is a long-term holistic approach where you take an active role in finding the cure for your T. This new holistic help for tinnitus is based around 3 areas:

Small Lifestyle Changes
Small changes in your lifestyle can make a big difference to volume and frequency of the sounds you are hearing. Your diet should include plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, protein and whole grains. Vitamins B1, 6 and 12, C and D are thought to reduce tinnitus symptoms as are the minerals, iron, zinc and manganese. Avoid citrus fruits, caffeine, alcohol and cut out processed and junk foods altogether. They contain high levels of salt, saturated fats and flavour enhancers which can constrict blood flow and oxygen to the inner ear. Keep a log of what you eat and if any food makes your symptoms worse, cut it out altogether. Boosting your Immune System

Boosting your immune system will keep your whole body functioning well and keep illnesses away such as flu or strep sore throat that would make you T. worse. Take daily exercise even if it's just a daily walk around the block. This and activities such as yoga and swimming will also reduce the stress you are understandably feeling. A good night's sleep is one of the most difficult things to achieve when you are plagued with incessant buzzing and hissing but is something that really works wonders for a strong immune system. Try to take naps in the day, listen to white noise through an MP3 or use a white noise machine to mask unwanted sounds at night.

Alternative therapies and treatments
Alternative therapies and treatments used as part of a healthy lifestyle can reduce or completely eliminate tinnitus symptoms. Take the time to try them until you find a combination of treatments that work for you. Consult professionals who have experience in dealing with tinnitus. A herbalist might prescribe herbs like coffee cruda, Echinacea or Sesame to reduce tinnitus symptoms and a herbal diuretic will reduce inflammation in the inner ear. Hypnotherapy is a very effective treatment if the brain is replaying a sound that is somehow linked to an emotion, for example through a traumatic event such as a car crash. Habituation can also bring help for tinnitus. Although there are few practitioners around, it really is worth the wait. This involves listening to white noises and training the brain not to register the noise.
This only happens when you take it for granted and did not pay attention for a need to undergo check up. You would feel inconvenience once you experience irritating sounds in your head that are of varying degrees and intensities, from clicking to buzzing sounds or from hissing to roaring waves.

When you are at the point of being fed up with your condition, you can only be so grateful for all the temporary tinnitus reliefs you can find. Temporary as they are, at least you can get some peace and quiet for a while. You get these reliefs from established tinnitus cures such as medications, therapies, and other treatments formulated for tinnitus.

More than a scientific formula, people are looking for a natural way to overcome the problem. Chronic tinnitus sufferers like you are hungry for information on natural tinnitus cures which can give you prompt relief. This brings us to the following tips which we highly recommend!

One way is to avoid situations which could be sources of disturbing sounds and too much noise. Prefer to join groups with few member rather big groups that would create irritating clamors. Instead of spending time listening to hi-fi music, it would be helpful if you find time to be with closest friends who understands what you are going through.

Second, consider undergoing counseling and joining support groups where tinnitus sufferers gather together. These are venues for you to listen to people sharing and discussing their varied ways of coping with the disorder. Surely these outlets could relieve you from the stress that tinnitus gives.

Another tip to consider is a change in your music preference. Choose the ones that soothe your auditory sense. You can minimize the ringing in your ears by listening to sounds that would calm and relax your ears. Such sounds could be recordings of ocean waves or cascading water. They give comfort to your ears with the soft and soothing sounds they produce.

You can still enjoy the delight that sounds and music renders your life. You can do this while making sure that you do it cautiously. Be choosy in the sounds you listen to. Do not put the sounds into high level volumes that can create vibrations annoying to the ears.

All of these recommended tips are not only natural in their cures, but they are also constructive in their approach. Rather than isolating you, they allow you to socialize with people. They still allow you to enjoy the little comforts of life like music. To get that prompt relief from natural tinnitus cure, you only have to be cool and open about them.
The only problem with some of the gifts we give them are that they can be potentially harmful to their health! Little did you know that iPod or other gaming thingamajigs with earphones cold be a bad thing.

Protecting the ears of the young is important because once you have damage, you always have damage. Keeping their ears healthy at a young age will help their good hearing last in to old age. A few companies were smart and started making devices that help the hearing be protected while the child can still enjoy the technology. Ear clips & Headphones With Decibel Control

Most of the problem with loud sounds is the high decibel levels. The decibels is what can damage the hearing, so these ear clips and headphones now have a limit built in to them. They will not broadcast a sound any louder than 90 decibels. Above 90 is when the damage begins. Safe Volume Ear buds and Headphones
As with the decibel control technology, there are also ones that have volume control. The ear buds or the headphones have a set limit and the volume will not pass that level, which is safe for young ears. These headphones and ear buds are available with adapters to fit in to most popular kinds of technology. Portable speakers

When you child wants to amplify their laptop sound, the portable gaming system or even a TV, they have made speakers with sound controls. You won't come home to your child having a blaring TV or laptop unless you don't have the speakers installed. So, it's good for their hearing and good for the neighbors as well! Take Frequent Breaks

Even if you have all of the safety equipment in place, taking breaks away from the sound will help to restore any hearing loss too. Extended periods of time in the loud noise range can cause as much damage as a short time with a really loud noise. Take a break and let your eardrums rest for a bit. Keep the Volume Low

No matter what type of a device your child is plugged in to, set rules. Always have it so the volume is at a level where they can hear a person speak normally. How many times have you said a name, repeated it, repeated it and repeated it, only to look and see that ear buds are hooked to their head and they can't hear a thing, even when you shout? If so, then that is an unsafe level. Even selective hearing in children isn't that good at blocking you out when you yell.

If you explain to your kids the dangers of having the music, the radio, the TV or the computer up too loud, they may listen. Maybe. Enforcing the safe rules on your part is a better bet to keeping their ears healthy and listening for a long time.
Basically, hearing loss can be conductive, which means that the problem is in the outer and middle ears, sensorineural, which means that the inner ear is affected, mixed, which involves both conductive and sensorineural loss, and neural, which means that the brain is actually misinterpreting sound signals. The latter of these options doesn't have anything to do with the ears, so it can't be corrected by hearing aids, although there may be some corrective procedures that will fix it.

Each type of hearing loss has different risk factors and causes. Knowing these causes can help audiologists determine which type of loss a person is suffering from, especially when this information is taken in context with several hearing tests, which can help determine where the hearing problems are occurring. Plus, knowing the risks for hearing loss can help you stay away from certain things that might cause you to lose your hearing now or later in life.

Conductive hearing loss, which is obviously when sounds cannot be properly conducted through the ear, usually results in an inability to hear fainter sounds. This type of loss is very common in children who have frequent ear infections, and it can often be solved easily by putting tubes in the ears to help drain some of the excess fluid that comes from these infections. Other causes of conductive loss of hearing include excess earwax in the ear canal, impacted earwax, a foreign object in the ear, or a physical deformity in the outer or middle ear. Much of the time, this type of hearing loss can be fixed by medications, devices, or surgery.

Sensorineural hearing loss is a little more serious because it can't actually be corrected. This doesn't mean that people with this type of loss can't ever hear again; that's what hearing aids are for. Instead, it means that the hearing will never be what it once was. This type of hearing loss can be caused by a variety of factors, including noise exposure, aging, certain diseases, head trauma, certain drugs that harm the ears, and some viruses.

Mixed hearing loss, since it's a mixture of both of the above types of problems, can be caused by a combination of any of these factors. Sometimes it is somewhat reversible, but ears affected by this type of problem will probably never hear quite correctly again without hearing aids, which will only restore certain types of hearing.

One of the major problems with hearing issues is that many people assume they are only something that is experienced in old age. While age is a major risk factor for hearing problems, it's definitely not the only one. All of these other things can cause hearing loss more often or at least as often as aging does. It's important to stay on the lookout for loss of hearing in yourself and your loved ones all the time because it can happen to anyone.
It is named for the French physician who first described its symptoms in 1861. Although it is most commonly referred to as a disease, some people believe that Meniere's syndrome is a more accurate term. This is because doctors have not been able to determine an underlying cause of its symptoms. (A syndrome is simply a collection of symptoms, while diseases generally have known causes or mechanisms by which they affect people.)

Symptoms
The symptoms of this condition can vary somewhat from one person to another. However, they will generally consist of:

Fluctuations in hearing, usually in one ear but potentially in both

Tinnitus (ringing) in one or both ears

Periods of vertigo or dizziness

A "full" feeling in one or both ears

A person with this condition may only experience one or two of these symptoms at first. However, the syndrome is often progressive - meaning without treatment, the symptoms will gradually worsen.

Causes

Meniere's disease is believed to be related to problems with the inner ear. Specifically, some researchers believe that this condition occurs when lymph channels (which transport an important bodily fluid called lymph) become dilated, which allows excess fluid to build up in the inner ear. This condition is known as endolymphatic hydrops.

However, this is only a hypothesis at this time. Doctors are still not sure what exactly causes some people to experience Meniere's disease.

Testing and Treatment
Because the underlying cause is not known, there is also no way to conclusively test for this condition. This is problematic, because several different health problems can cause very similar symptoms. If a person is experiencing any difficulties with his or her hearing or sense of balance, a doctor may need to use a range of tests to eliminate possible explanations. If there is no other positive test result, the problem may be Meniere's.

The lack of information about its causes also means that this illness cannot be directly treated. Instead, its sufferers must find ways to manage their symptoms. For example, stress reduction and dietary can reduce the symptoms of tinnitus, while medication can help with vertigo. If hearing loss is a persistent problem for the patient, then one or two hearing aids may be necessary.
We become gradually less able to hear things as clearly as we once could. Hearing loss is remarkably common in aging people, and chronic exposure to loud sounds can help make the process occur much faster. When your hearing is growing weaker and you need to know what you can do to regain your ability to understand what those around you are saying, talking to your doctor about hearing aids can help. Your doctor can help you learn if the problem may arise from something simple, such as earwax blockage or fluid in the ears and can help diagnose the cause in order to choose the right steps for treatment.

For many people, the process occurs so slowly that it is first noticed by others. Sounds slowly become muted and you may have a harder time making out words, but your brain will struggle to understand and to compensate for this loss. If your loved ones have noticed that you do not seem to be hearing as well as you used to, however, it can offer great benefit to speak with a medical professional. Your doctor can help learn what has caused your hearing to deteriorate. In many cases, hearing loss from earwax blockage can be easy to treat, while conditions caused by damage to the inner ear may be somewhat more difficult. When these types of incidents as well as aging affect your hearing, a hearing aid might be the solution that you are looking for.

When you speak with your doctor about the loss of hearing that you are experiencing, they will be able to look closely in order to rule out more serious causes. Ear infections, tumors, and ruptured eardrums are considered to be more severe events that can cause a loss of hearing and may require other treatments before aids and assistive devices can be considered. Your doctor will likely ask you a number of questions about your medications, noise exposure, previous illnesses, and family history in order to help identify the cause of your hearing problems and to help them determine the best course of treatment for you.

It is important to understand that the loss of your hearing does not have to be disabling. In fact, with a quality hearing aid, you will be able to hear people and things much more clearly than you may have thought possible. Your doctor will perform a number of tests to help determine what types of sounds are the hardest for you to hear distinctly and can help you get an assistive device that helps your ear better pick up and distinguish those sounds. Why spend another day frustrated at the inability to hear the television or to understand what your loved ones are saying. Assistive hearing devices today can be easy to use and adjust and can even be rather small and discrete. Speak with a physician today to learn what can be done to restore your precious hearing.
Since it can affect anyone, it could be your friend, relative, employer, doctor or yourself who is affected by age-related hearing loss. It's important to understand how and why hearing loss occurs as people age so you can identify the best strategies for coping with it.

Often times, age-related hearing loss starts with the inability to detect high-pitched sounds, which can easily go unnoticed. It might seem to the person experiencing hearing loss that others are mumbling or slurring their words. Background noises may more obviously interfere with the ability to hear, and it could become harder to hear women's voices as opposed to men's.

Age-related hearing loss doesn't usually happen quickly. The ability to hear gradually fades over time, so it isn't always easy to detect in either yourself or another person. Hearing tests are the best way to determine whether loss of hearing is occurring.

Hearing loss occurs as people age for several reasons. Hereditary factors may play a role, so if you have family members who lost hearing as they aged, you may be more prone to the condition. Exposure to loud sounds over the course of a lifetime can also contribute to hearing loss, especially for those who have continuously been exposed to loud noises at work or at home.

High blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and other health conditions may cause hearing loss by interfering with blood flow to the ears. Some medications may contribute to age-related hearing loss, including aspirin.
The loss of hair cells in the ears is the most common cause of age-related hearing loss. These tiny hair cells vibrate in response to sound and act as hearing receptors. They diminish as people age, making it harder to hear sounds.

Hearing aids are a tremendous help for many people with age-related hearing loss. Today, hearing aids are highly specialized devices that can help with many different types of hearing loss. They also come in many different styles and have advanced features that make them incredibly convenient and easy to use as well as effective.

If someone you know is hard of hearing, there are several ways to facilitate communication and even enhance the ability to be heard. Always face the person you're speaking to, and don't eat, chew gum or cover your mouth with your hand while you're talking. Speak at a slower pace, and focus on forming words clearly to avoid mumbling.

If someone who has impaired hearing asks you to repeat what you've said, they might hear you better if you use different words when you repeat yourself. Check that there's no background noise interfering with your ability to be heard, such as a radio or TV. Avoid shouting if you're asked to repeat yourself, as this can actually distort the way you sound.

Age-related hearing loss doesn't have to be a source of frustration or even a hindrance if the person affected and those he or she interacts with are willing to acknowledge and effectively deal with the situation.

However, research suggests that your diet may also play an important role in your hearing ability. There is a growing body of evidence that certain vitamins may reduce your chances of developing a hearing impairment over time, even if you work in a loud environment.

Vitamins You Need

Many people lose some of their hearing ability as they age. If you are concerned about developing such a condition, a healthy diet may help your ears stay strong. Specific vitamins that you may want to eat more of include:

Vitamin B - The B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12) play an important role in your body's ability to develop new nerve cells and repair damaged nerves. B12 in particular is important for the development of myelin sheaths - protective sheaths that cover nerve cells, similar to plastic insulation for electrical wires. Since nerve damage is the most common cause of hearing loss, a diet rich in vitamin B can be excellent for your hearing. To increase your body's supply of vitamin B, be sure to eat lots of beans, meats (especially liver), potatoes, bananas, or tempeh.

Vitamin A - Vitamin A plays many important roles in the body, including immune system maintenance and vision. It is also found in high concentrations in the cochlea, a small inner-ear organ that is lined with auditory nerves. Eating lots of vitamin A can help you avoid common infections and may even reduce the symptoms of tinnitus. You can get your vitamin A from many different foods, including spinach, mangoes, carrots, pumpkins, eggs, and kale.

Vitamin C - Vitamin C (also known as L-ascorbic acid) assists with the metabolism of nutrients and is an important anti-oxidant. Anti-oxidants are molecules that counter the effects of free radicals, which are naturally produced chemically reactive atoms that can cause cell damage throughout your body. Recent studies show that vitamin C can reduce the damage caused by loud noises when it is taken along with magnesium and vitamins A and E. Good sources of vitamin C include fruits, berries, liver, avocados, potatoes, and carrots.

Vitamin E - Like vitamin C, vitamin E is an anti-oxidant that can help protect your body from the effects of certain atoms and molecules. Research shows it may also protect against nerve damage caused by exposure to loud noises. Some studies have even shown improvement of certain hearing conditions among patients who took this vitamin. Nutritional sources of vitamin E include nuts, seeds, avocados, whole grains, milk and eggs.

A healthy diet can improve many areas of your life, including your mood, cognitive functioning, sleep habits, immune system, and potentially even your hearing. Whether tinnitus is literally driving you crazy, destroying your relationships or robbing you of your sleep, one thing is certain. Your T. is drastically taking away from your quality of life and it has to be stopped now! Luckily you can reject any claims that there is no cure for tinnitus. Not true. There are many effective tinnitus therapies and in particular one breakthrough tinnitus treatment that is proven to eliminate the buzzy, hissy noise you are hearing and get your life back for good. In this article you will discover exactly what this breakthrough tinnitus treatment and how it is tailor made for you.

Lets' get one thing clear now. Tinnitus itself is not a disease or a serious medical condition. Tinnitus is simply an indicator of something else that is not right in the body. The symptoms of tinnitus can be more severe for some, and not a big deal for others. Tinnitus can be caused by an allergy, Menieres Disease, prescriptions medications, exposure to loud noise, too much salt or stress. If a cause like this for the tinnitus is determined by an ear, nose and throat specialist , treatment can be quite focused. For example if a medication is found to be causing the tinnitus, often stopping that medication will stop the buzzing in the ears. This breakthrough tinnitus treatment is particularly effective in the case where a cause for the ringing in the ears cannot be determined- a very frustrating situation! Moreover it does not simply mask the sound, it gets rid of it for the long-term. It has no side-effects and does not involve surgery. The most important thing is that you will take an active role in working out what combination of treatments work for you. This will involve patience and trial and error but in the end you will have a course of treatment that is perfectly suited to you!

Here are three steps to silence on which this breakthrough tinnitus treatment is based:

Living a healthy lifestyle
Fill yourself with the best of fuel-fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, poultry, whole grains and dairy products form sheep or goat. These foods will provide and excellent source of vitamins. B12 in particular found in dairy products, fish, meat and eggs my help the body make the material that protects the inner ear nerves. Caffeine however is a main aggravator of tinnitus since it constricts blood flow to the inner ear as does nicotine, aspirin and salt. These should all be avoided or at least strictly limited. Keep a log of what you eat and if something you eat makes your T. worse, cut it out.

Enhancing your Immune System
It is very important to have a strong immune system to fight off diseases that can make tinnitus symptoms worse. Regular, gentle exercise, even if it's just ditching the bus and walking to work will keep the immune system strong and promote oxygen to the inner ear. Try to manage the stress you might be feeling with activities such as swimming and yoga and try to get as much sleep as you can. If your sleep is disturbed by the ringing and hissing in your ears, try to listen to masking sounds through an MP3 player.

Which therapy is right for me?
Finding the right combination of therapies to cure your T. will require your perseverance but in time you will achieve silence . Biofeedback, individualized psychotherapy ,relaxation therapy, habituation and hypnotherapy can all help to change your body's reaction to the tinnitus. It is really important that the therapy or therapies you find work for you are done in combination with steps one and two above.

The three step breakthrough tinnitus treatment will not just give you relief from the constant buzzy hissy noise in your ears but will improve your whole well-being -and it is a cure that is perfectly suited to your needs!

Teenagers are susceptible to hearing problems, just as children, young adults and middle-aged individuals are, as well as seniors. Thanks to innovative technology, many teens that suffer a loss of hearing can be helped with hearing aids.

There are different types of hearing loss that can occur in teens. The Sensorineural type occurs when the inner ear or auditory nerve is damaged. This typically happens when outer hair cells in the ears fail to function correctly. It may be difficult to hear sounds clearly, interpret or distinguish sounds or understand speech. Usually, this type of impairment is permanent, and a special cochlear implant or hearing aid may help restore or improve hearing.

A second type of hearing impairment is audiotory neuropathy spectrum disorder. Hearing is disrupted because sounds from the inner ear aren't transmitted properly to the brain. Hearing devices may not help with this disorder, but teens can develop the ability to communicate very effectively with therapy, special medical devices or through visual types of communication.

Hearing can be impaired or lost in different degrees and at different times. Some people are born hearing impaired, while for others it is a condition that occurs over time. There are also many different ways in which hearing can be impaired. Some people can hear certain sounds, others may find background noise distracting, or in some cases hearing is completely lost.

It's also possible that hearing impairment can occur in only one ear, or it may be worse in one ear than the other. Some people experience hearing loss in both ears at the same time, or in both ears to varying degrees at different times.

Hearing loss may be a permanent condition, but in some cases it's only temporary. This may be the case if your hearing impairment is caused by ototoxicity, or is induced by medication use, as an example. It's possible in some cases for hearing to be restored in full or in part over time.

Since everyone's hearing situation is unique, it's crucial that teens are evaluated thoroughly by a specialized doctor if hearing changes occur. A complete hearing exam with an audiologist and possibly a visit to an Otolaryngologist or Otologist may be necessary. This is the only way to get an accurate diagnosis and decide on an appropriate course of treatment, if possible.

If a hearing aid is recommended, it will be important to choose the right type of device to help aid with hearing. Today, hearing devices are available in many different sizes and styles. They are highly specialized and utilize very advanced technology to improve hearing in very precise ways.

Today teens can take advantage of sophisticated technologies available in hearing aids that were never dreamed of years ago. Programmable hearing aids allow teens to adjust their hearing devices to different environments. Hearing devices may even be equipped with wireless Bluetooth capabilities teens may find incredibly convenient.
Environmental factors such as loud stereos and MP3 players, city traffic, power tools and music concerts have contributed to this effect. The good news is that hearing problems can be helped immensely by hearing aids, but unfortunately, only 23% of people who need hearing aids have them. This is because hearing loss can have a slow effect not noticed by some and also because some people are in denial that they require a hearing aid.

Hearing loss is quite normal and is part of the aging process. It also may be hereditary. Throughout life your ears will be damaged and you will also naturally lose your ability to hear as you age. The most effective way to recognise if you are affected by hearing loss is to see if you have observed any of the following in your life: tiredness or stress from trying to hear; hearing mumbling instead of speaking; having to study someone's lips as they speak so you understand them, reluctance to socialise as you can't hear anyone; turning up the volume of television and radio more often; or being told to turn the volume down by your family; and difficulty understanding people when there are external noises around.

Hearing impairment can lead to major troubles and disability, although hearing damage as the underlying root of the crisis may not be suspected. For instance, undiagnosed auditory injury in children can cause developmental delays and mediocre academic performance. In grown-ups, hearing defect can lead to touchiness, confusion, or social seclusion. Among the aged, these symptoms can be misinterpreted as a variety of dementia, if the hearing is not carefully checked.

If you aren't sure if you are suffering from hearing loss but have found some of the above points apply to you, it would be wise to get your ears tested. Hearing tests at leading hearing specialty clinics and hospitals can be conducted with headphones and are completely painless. While undertaking a hearing test you will hear different tones through the headphones played at different volumes. Your hearing healthcare professional makes a note of the lowest volume level at which each individual tone is audible. Your results will be discussed with you. In the case that you do need hearing aids, the auditory health specialists will discuss your suitability for hearing aids, the styles available and pricing.

The treatment of hearing injury depends upon the main cause. Surgery, hearing aids, and other gadgets to augment sound may all be valuable in particular circumstances. It's estimate that over 50 million people in the United States are affected by tinnitus, but luckily there has been lots of research and studies done for your benefit. Below you will see a tinnitus relief formula that you can use in your own home. Good luck!

Tinnitus Relief Formula - 3 Steps To Instant Relief From Tinnitus

1. Eliminate stressors. Having too much stress in your life will cause tinnitus symptoms to become even worse. This is the most crucial step in the whole equation and this is why it's the first step for you to work on. If you can find a way to eliminate stress, anxiety, or any depression, you've already solved half the battle and you're well on your way to tinnitus relief. There are different classes and therapies that you can consider getting involved in if stress is a tough one for you to manage.

2. Wear hearing aids. Now that you're hopefully relatively stress free, you can use the added help from hearing aids. These are part of the tinnitus relief formula because they help to amplify outside sounds which makes the internal noise a lot less obvious. There are special hearing aids that are made specifically to give people relief from tinnitus. The degree of tinnitus in each individual is different, so it is best to talk with your doctor so that they may offer a recommendation based on your particular condition.

3. Mask the noise. The last part of the tinnitus relief formula is to use maskers to mask the internal noise, or ringing you get in your ears. Some of the easiest ways to mask the noise is by running a fan, playing soft music, or listening to low-volume radio static. Also, listening to natural sounds like the rainforest or ocean waves is a quick way to get relief from tinnitus.

About the Author
Most people don't know this, but there actually is a permanent cure for tinnitus. The tinnitus relief formula you just read is meant to be used for quick fix solutions. Curing tinnitus can be possible, if you know how. For example if tinnitus is related to a disease of ears, and then the disease is completely cured, the symptoms are commonly gone. Therefore, tinnitus is also successfully cured.

Tinnitus is also caused by excessive ear wax that blocks the sound from outside. By visiting a physician or an audiologist, the ear wax can be removed and it is believed as a cure for tinnitus. If it is the source of tinnitus, your ringing in ears will automatically disappear.

Scientists also said that hearing loss goes hand in hand with over-excitable nerves within brain areas that process sound. The uncontrollable nerves then cause ringing or noises in ears and called as "tinnitus".

Can Drug Therapy Cure For Tinnitus? Yes..Drug therapy can also a cure for tinnitus. However, you should be careful as some drugs are even the causes of tinnitus. Therefore, it is suggested that you consult your professional health care provider. Some treatments that are believed as a cure for tinnitus, in some cases, intensified the frequency of ringing in ears including medications, surgical procedures and electric stimulation.
Another method is masking. As a non medical treatment of tinnitus, it is believed that masking can reduce unwanted ringing in ears. The patients are worn by a hearing aid to produce a neutral white sound. It is claimed that over 60% patients who suffer from severe ears disorder can be cured. However, this method is not suitable for every patient, and you should get more information before using it.

You can also using biofeedback as a treatment for tinnitus. You are touched how to manage your body functions such as pulse, muscle tension and skin temperature. The point is how to make yourself comfortable and how to manage and eliminate stress, anxiety and fear that cause ears disorder.

However for people who really experience this problem, they really feel bad and want to get a rid of it as soon as possible. You can check this site how they can find the right tinnitus cure
That part, easily visible, if unusually prominent gives a lot of concern. In addition to the external ear, the apparatus for hearing includes the middle ear and the internal ear.

The external ear includes the portion that is on the outside and the small canal which runs down as far as the eardrum. It is a collection of skin and other tissue such as cartilage and muscle. In most human being the muscles are merely remnants of the large muscles possessed by animals, so that few people are able to move their ears with any degree of celerity or satisfaction.

Plastic Surgery For Lop Ears
There are really few conditions affecting the external ear that are disturbing. Sometimes large portions of the ear may be absent at birth. Occasionally the ears project in an extremely unsightly manner. A these extraordinary appearances are controlled nowadays by the use of plastic surgery. An expert is able to fasten the ear back if it project exceedingly, to rebuild an ear out of other tissue if portions are missing and to modify the shape of the ear if it is of extraordinary shape.

Many mothers feel that the ear became a lop ear because the chill lay on his ear with the ear crumpled when he was small or because he wore his hat pressed down on the ears. There is no evidence that these factors are really of any importance. The fault is one of anatomical development. Manipulation of and bandaging the ears to hold then against the head will not correct the condition.

"Tin Ears"
One of the most common forms of injury to the external ear is the development of what the pugilist calls a "tin ear." Repeated pounding on the ear results in the pouring out of blood into the tissues of the ear and surrounding areas. At first such swellings are bluish-red; they feel to the touch like dough. In the worst cases surgeons open the tissue and remove the clot of blood to prevent permanent thickening and swelling. They also apply special bandages to mold the ear and hold it in shape while repair is taking place.

Infection In Ears
Cases are on record in which living insects have entered the ear. They died and their bodies remained, gradually becoming surrounded by hardened wax, so that eventually the external canal was blocked and hearing lost entirely. Outside of the loss of hearing, no damage is likely to result. More damage comes from attempts to remove material from the ear than ' from the entrance of the material itself. It is not advisable for anyone to try to remove a foreign body from the outer ear if it cannot be washed out, unless he has had special training in this type of work.

Removing Foreign Objects
Several instruments have been developed for removing foreign objects. A bean or piece of chalk has been removed by the use of a probe with some adhesive material on the end. This becomes adherent to the bean or piece of chalk, which is then gradually withdrawn. Such performances are, however, best left to the experts.
A pimple or boil or any other infection in the tissue lining the external ear canal will cause intense pain, inflammation, swelling, and some fever, and should have prompt medical attention.

How To Avoid Ear Injuries
Far better than the attempt to treat such conditions when they develop is the application of simple laws of hygiene that tend to prevent infections in the ear. Increased bathing and swimming have multiplied the number of cases of infection in the ear arising from that source. Children should not be permitted to swim more than fifteen or twenty minute at a time. If they tend to have trouble with the ears they should not be permitted to dive. The child who complains of difficulties in hearing or of fullness in the head after swimming should give up the sport. This is nature's way of warning against trouble.

The vast majority of infections of the ear are secondary to colds in the head and influenza. About 10 per cent of children with scarlet fever and measles develop infections of the ear. About 5 per cent of those with diphtheria develop infections of the ear. Other cases develop after mumps, typhoid fever, whooping cough, and similar infections.

Prompt care of children with various infectious diseases will determine the presence of infection early, and immediate application of proper treatment can prevent extension of the infection into the mastoid or inner ear.

Hygiene Of The Ear
An Irish doctor said that there are two kinds of deafness - one due to wax in the ear, which can be cured by washing it out, and the other not due to wax. Most people nowadays know enough about personal hygiene to keep their ears clean. Boils and pimples still occur, and there are still cases in which the removal of hardened wax is necessary. The cerumen, or wax in the ear, when it becomes hardened is most easily removed by the use of the ear syringe filled with slightly warm water. Harm can be done by needless or too frequent syringing. The syringe should be sterilized by boiling before using, and water should be previously boiled and used warm but not hot.

The person whose ear is to be syringed should sit in a good light, a towel should be put around the neck and tucked inside the clothing so as to prevent soiling it, a pan should be held at the edge of the ear so that the fluid which runs in will run into the basin and not down the patient's neck. The ear is pulled slightly upward and backward to straighten out the passage. With the ear held in this position, the nozzle of the syringe, which has been filled and has all the air expelled, is placed just inside the outer opening of the ear. The water is then permitted to flow along the back wall slowly and without too great pressure, so as to permit return of the excess flow of water as the water goes in.

Special instruments are usually needed for removing foreign objects. A probe with adhesive at the end may attach itself to a foreign object which can then be pulled out. Usually experts have the instruments and can do this performance easily.

Middle Ear Infection, Or Otitis Media
Infection of the interior of the ear after a sore throat is not nearly so frequent as such infections used to be. The specific action against staphylococci, pneumococci, streptococci, and other germs that infect noses and throats wrought by the antibiotic drugs and sulfonamides has enormously reduced such complications. However, neglect of a sore throat or a virulent infection may occasionally be followed by spread of the germs to the middle ear. One or both ears may be infected. The condition usually begins with a pain in the ear and a high fever. The pain is continuous, but may be irregular, and is usually worse at night. When the , doctor looks at the eardrum it is seen to be bulging. If the drum is not opened the pressure may cause it to burst. Then a thin watery discharge will come out, often changing to thick creamy pus. When the eardrum is cut or bursts the pain stops immediately and usually the temperature falls.

Blow The Nose Properly
Often the middle ear is infected because a child has not learned how to blow the nose properly. The worst technique is to hold both nostrils tightly when blowing, since this forces the infected material from back of the nose into the middle ear. The proper technique requires that only one nostril be held and that blowing be gentle. Preferably, the handkerchief or disposable tissue should be held quite loosely over the opening of the nostrils.

Middle-ear infection may lead to some degree of deafness and, rarely, to permanent loss of hearing. Following an infection the child should be taken to a specialist-an otorhinolaryngologist-who will test the loss of hearing and do everything possible to stop the progress of infection and restore action to the damaged tissues of the ear.

Mastoiditis used to be frequent after infection of the ear, but now the total number of cases of mastoiditis has been greatly reduced by the antibiotic drugs. Pain and tenderness in the region behind the ear are the first symptoms of inflammation of the mastoid. The skin may be swollen so that the external ear seems to be pushed away from the head. Early treatment of infected ears will usually prevent this complication. Surgical treatment of mastoiditis involves an operation in which the infected area is opened and the infected material cleaned out. Unless controlled, a secondary inflammation of the coverings of the brain meningitis - is possible.
If you've been using the same hearing aid for years or even decades, or worse still, if you've never done anything to help put your audio loss in check, then it's time you realized that there are many different kinds of highly evolved aids on the market today amongst which you will surely find the one that is indicated just for you. You'd be amazed at the specialization to be found in some models, and you'll be even more amazed when you actually try one on and discover just how poorly you have been living!

Audio loss is created by a wide variety of factors and assumes many different forms, and of the approximately 10% of the population that suffers such problems in their ears the necessary solutions can correspondingly take on many different forms as well. It's not only a question of how diminished your sound perception is itself, but also a question of what accompanying conditions there are (such as infection of the ear canal, production of excess ear wax, etc.). Furthermore, finding the right kind of hearing aid will depend on your age and your lifestyle: something that a nimble-fingered young and healthy person might be able to use effectively would not necessarily be the ideal product or solution for an elderly patient that is lacking in physical as well as manual dexterity.

The best way to discover what kind of hearing aid technology will be indicated for your individual scenario of factors is to discuss the matter with your expert audiologist. The ear doctor, as these professionals are otherwise known, will be able to orient you as to the many different kinds of aids and specifically which would be worth looking into in your case-it's likely that many varieties will be recommended, among which you yourself will have to determine which is most comfortable and effective. Patients will discover that there is a fine line between performance and aesthetics that needs to be tread here: whereas some models may be very effective at improving your hearing in general, they may also not meet your expectations as far as appearance is concerned. Fortunately, however, many of the most discrete models of hearing aids also work incredibly well for many patients.

Case in point: the completely in the canal aid, or CIC aid. This is one of the smallest types of removable hearing aids available today, and as the name suggests it fits completely within the ear canal, making it highly undetectable to people with whom the patient interacts. Then again, and depending on the doctor's recommendations regarding appropriateness, there are some aids that will never be seen at all and which are actually implanted within the person's body, as is the case with the bone anchored hearing aid (or BAHA). This sort of prosthetic implant is literally fixed to a bone within the ear and operates without anybody ever being able to tell you are using such a product-an excellent solution for people worried about their appearances.

About the Author
So talk to your doc about hearing aids and find out precisely what kinds of hearing solutions would be best for you. Take action now-or else forever wish that you had!

But not all hearing devices are created equally. You'll find tremendous differences in quality, style, features, and cost. This guide will help you choose what's right for you.

TYPES OF HEARING AIDS If you've never looked into hearing aids before, you might be overwhelmed by the choices. However, hearing devices fall into three types:

Personal sound amplifiers: Not actually hearing aids, personal sound amplifiers are inexpensive devices that increase the volume of sounds. Popular brands include Loud N' Clear, the Bionic Ear, MagniEar, and Listen Up! While these sell for as little as $15, their technology is very rudimentary. Users might experience minor hearing improvement, but the quality and dependability of these devices is limited.

Analog hearing aids: The older generation of hearing aids, these devices use analog technology. They have fewer features and are much bulkier.

Digital hearing aids: Digital technology allows these aids to reduce background noise, amplify sounds from a certain direction, and come in attractive designs. Cost varies widely - traditional digital hearing aids from Beltone, Phonak, Widex, and other manufacturers cost as much as $3,299 each, while newer companies like HearAid look to bypass hearing care professionals and therefore sell the products directly to consumers for more like $300-$400.

HEARING AID STYLES Much of your decision may be based on how you think a hearing aid looks, but even individual styles affect hearing performance.

In-the-canal and "shell" hearing aids: These are custom molded to the inside of your ear. This style is most effective for people with up to severe hearing loss. However, some people don't like the resulting sensation that their ears are "plugged."

Open-fit hearing aids: Typically very small, open-fit hearing aids sit behind your ear and transmit sound through a tube that rests near your ear canal. An open-fit device doesn't plug the ear, but some devices are too small to adjust manually.

Behind-the-ear hearing aids: These hearing aids hook over the top of your ear to rest behind it. The hearing aid amplifies sound and transmits it to a small dome or tube that sits inside your ear. In general, this type of hearing aid is capable of more sound amplification than other styles.

HEARING AID FEATURES There is a large range of features that will affect a hearing aid's performance and ease of use.

Digital Signal Processing (DSP): Digital hearing aids can categorize an incoming sound, then trigger the features that best manage that type of sound.

Noise filtering identifies background noise and reduces it in comparison to primary listening sounds.
Directional technology helps direct your hearing to the sound you're facing-instead of noises behind and to the sides of you.

Volume and/or program controls allow you to adjust your hearing aid without seeing a professional.
Product warranty should include parts and labor for a specified period of time.

Trial period and/or guarantee allows you to test the hearing aid and determine if it's right for you.
COST OF HEARING AIDS It's the high cost of hearing aids that prevent many people from obtaining a device that could improve their hearing-and their quality of life. Personal sound amplifiers are very inexpensive (as little as $15), but they do not provide the quality or features of medical-level hearing aids. Traditional hearing aids, however, may be prohibitively expensive with prices as high as $3,299 each.

A new take on the hearing aid industry is to provide the same technology and features found in other high-end brands, but sell directly to the consumer by-passing medical professionals. They pre-configure their devices with programs most commonly needed, so they're able to bypass a visit to the doctor's office. Without the professional costs for fitting and configuring, these instruments are sold from $299 to $399.

Whichever hearing aid you select, remember, wearing one effectively takes some time to adjust. Hearing aids take some practice-and they won't "cure" poor hearing. However, when selected well, they can significantly change the way you hear and enjoy life.
Are you sick of the constant ringing, buzzing, or humming you hear? There are many things that can cause this and the good news is that it is completely curable no matter how bad it has gotten. Here are a few causes and a way to stop one of them today.

Do not make the mistake of copying your fellow training, or believing all the garbage in Jet magazine ads.Decide first what you want to achieve and then choose supplements that will help you achieve your goals.

First, let's discuss some of the effects that ringing the ears or tinnitis has on a person. When this starts to occur it can make it very difficult for a person to concentrate and get work done or just to relax. It can even go as far as causing a person to cancel or say no to social invitations because they know they will be distracted by the awful sound they hear in their ears.

Cardio exercises such as running, swimming, brisk walking should be done every day to accelerate the body's metabolism. You can easily run several light cardio before and after weight training.

No, they do not pack a lot of muscles themselves. But they are very important in the chain reaction to produce muscle and contribute to their overall physical condition.Thousands of chemical process that goes into your body all rely on vitamins.

Last, let's discuss a cure for this cause of tinnitis. This one is very simple to cure for most people. It just involves turning your music down and wearing ear plugs. Avoiding the loud noises is the easiest way to cure the ringing that you are hearing in your ears. Sure it sounds like common sense, but this is just for the minor cases of tinnitis.
They also show that creatine is not complete, improving performance and help build muscle mass. This is not considered doping and its use is not banned by sports organizations.Way, but is banned in several countries.

It certainly pays off to identify proven treatments for tinnitis. Some of the most popular methods can provide major noise reduction within 2 weeks.

4) If you are serious about getting rid of buzzing ear, avoid foods that have caffeine and too much salt. Coffee, chocolate and aerated drinks have caffeine. Consuming these items causes excessive urination leading to worsening of ringing ears. Consuming too much of salt will cause fluctuations in the fluid level in the inner ear leading to worsening of tinnitis problem.

Most people do not understand that do not grow muscles during exercise, are broken. The growth came during a break.

The fact is that most women can not get much protein, and can drop to a certain evolutionary response. You have to go around and force myself to eat more protein, so that muscle tissue can grow properly.

I feel your pain but it's hard to get tinnitus support from people that aren't dealing with these sounds.

If you suffer from T you know that others can't really understand the extent of your pain. This condition can not only make you totally crazy it also makes you feel very isolated.

You've been to the doctor and he talks about drugs and hearing tests and you walked out of the office feeling like he definitely wasn't giving your tinnitus support . The result of all of this frustration is that you start to go off on the people you love.

You are constantly tired, stressed and the resulting anger leads eventually to trouble in a marriage. My husband and I came to the brink of divorce after my condition just seemed to get worse.

Combine buzzing ears, depression and lack of sleep to make a cocktail that will threaten the most solid marriage. I felt that my husband wasn't supporting me in my time of need but in reality he was coping quite well.

I was so deeply down about what was happening to me that I was basically impossible to live with. I had no patience, troubles at work and the idea of romantic love was not in play. Talk about a recipe for disaster.

We live in a remote mountain community and getting tinnitus support was impossible. I don't think anyone in town would have been able to tell you what T means or be able to define it.

I began to try many methods of dealing with the T. I changed my diet, started meditating, exercised seriously on a regular basis and tried different tapes in the hopes that they would mask my condition.

I bought a program that gave me direction in applying dietary changes, an exercise routine and meditations before going to bed. My first improvement was in the amount of sleep I started getting.

My husband and I worked hard on being aware of each other's feelings and respecting them. Our marriage actually was pushed into a more spiritual union. This is the only part of Tinnitus that I can see as being a good thing.

Our marriage became stronger than it had ever been and my husband became a great source of Tinnitus support. I still battle Tinnitus but am getting better every day. I sleep well most of the time and I'm in great physical condition.

Tinnitus support is hard to come by but I found a program that not only gives support but an outline to end the madness of constant ear noises. Visit www.lifewithouttinnitus.info now to learn about a program that works!
My Tinnitus was caused by loud music played by bands that I was in. I often stood next to the drummer and the cymbals did their damage. Multiply the concerts you may have gone to a hundred times and you get the idea.

When the noises in my head first started to last longer and then never went away it was horrible. I was depressed, tired from sleep deprivation and quit playing in bands which was my passion.

I tried masking devices, drugs, working out, special diets and on and on. Nothing seemed to help for long.

I doubted that there was a cure for ringing ears even though I read about people that had improved and even gotten over T completely. I started improving when I combined many natural cures with an emotional change.

The secret is in a new way of thinking about your Tinnitus. I needed to decide what it was in life that I really wanted and not what it was I didn't want (ringing ears).

The only way to minimize the constant roaring seemed to be trying to keep my eye on the prize of what I really desired and was passionate about.

First I made a commitment to play music again. Not in a band but working on writing music and recording.

Then I found a program that combined meditation, changes in diet, natural supplements and many other activities and ideas that worked for me. The first result of the program was that I was sleeping.

I wasn't sleeping 8 hours but I was getting 5 or 6 and then sure beat 1 hour if I was lucky. Basically, with a renewed hope and passion for my music combined with a program which improved my physical condition, I was on my way.

I'm still not 100% but I'm living a normal life and working on meeting my goal of being a recording musician and writing music for a living. I feel so much better and I truly have hope.

I understand your desire to find a cure for ringing ears. I'm here to tell you that if you focus on a passion in your life you are half of the way to relieving the noises in your head.
