It's been a while since my last post. Summer here has been great this year and I've been enjoying it as much as possible. I love being outside and the weather has been very cooperative in that respect. I will post what I've been doing over the next couple of postings.The time with my best friend was a blast! We did most of what we had planned and then some. We couldn't have asked for better

Life with Lily

Life with Lily is going well. She's a really sweet dog. She is very interested in our two cats but Ginger the "Queen Bee" of our house isn't at all interested in Lily. Eva on the other hand, plays with Lily. They're both about the same age, a little over a year old. The biggest problem is that Lily doesn't realize how big or strong she is. We hear little Eva screaming out quite often

Hello! It's Wednesday evening and the start of a long weekend for me. I'm fortunate that I have a 4 day weekend plus I'm taking the next week off too. My best friend is coming up from the lower-48 for a week-long visit tomorrow. I'm so excited! We're planning on doing a lot of driving and sight-seeing. We only have 2 for sure things that we're planning on and they are a trip to the stamp store

A New Addition to Our Family!

Hello Everyone! Just a quick post to let you know that we've adopted a beautiful young dog into our family from the Alaska SPCA. Her name is Lily and we've been told that she is part Black Lab and part English Greyhound, and possibly part Weimaraner. Lily is about a year old and very well behaved. The cats aren't too sure about the newcomer, but I think that things will work out just fine.
