However, what most people don't realize is that excess abdominal fat in particular, is not only ugly, but is also a dangerous risk factor to your health. Scientific research has clearly demonstrated that although it is unhealthy in general to have excess body fat throughout your body, it is also particularly dangerous to have excess abdominal fat.

There are two types of fat that you have in your abdominal area. The first type that covers up your abs from being visible is called subcutaneous fat and lies directly beneath the skin and on top of the abdominal muscles.

The second type of fat that you have in your abdominal area is called visceral fat, and that lies deeper in the abdomen beneath your muscle and surrounding your organs. Visceral fat also plays a role in giving certain men that "beer belly" appearance where their abdomen protrudes excessively but at the same time, also feels sort of hard if you push on it.

Both subcutaneous fat and visceral fat in the abdominal area are serious health risk factors, but science has shown that having excessive visceral fat is even more dangerous than subcutaneous fat. Both of them greatly increase the risk your risk of developing heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, sleep apnea, various forms of cancer, and other degenerative diseases.

Part of the reason visceral fat is particularly dangerous is that it apparently releases more inflammatory molecules into your body on a consistent basis.

There are many companies on the web offering appraisal services for domain names. Some, such as SwiftAppraisal.com (which is free) perform this function entirely through automated software that checks for certain features, such as the presence of hyphens, total length, or an estimation of the market size. Other sites charge between $10 to $35 for a personal appraisal, which may be more nuanced. The problem with this approach is that every sale of a domain name is completely unique, and ultimately the value of a domain name is worth whatever a buyer will pay for it.

In general, it is worthwhile to look at sales figures for other domains in the same category, but even a cursory glance will reveal that final prices vary widely even for similar names.

However, a general guideline does exist. The most valuable domain names are the .coms, followed by .net, .org and .biz. Single word websites sell for the most money, though not all single words will have the same high value. Concatenated phrases are slightly less valuable than single words, and hyphens decrease the value further. Short words and phrases are preferable.

Not all words have the same commercial potential, and most domain names have no resale value at all. However, long phrases are not always worth less than single words if they are frequent web search terms with commercial value: for instance, FreePhoneService.com is worth more than Grammer.com. Commercial potential is a subjective value, and often not considered enough by domain name appraisers, who may not know the size of the industry covered by the name.

One sure indicator that you have a valuable domain or website is unsolicited offers to buy it. Clearly, if customers are so eager that they make offers without the domain even being listed for sale, it has great commercial potential.

Also, content and links add value to niche-market domain names, and if a site is producing income, it can be sold as an internet turnkey business. This is similar to commercial real estate, where a business with clientele and inventory will sell for much more than an empty storefront. Not only will this increase the value, this method will provide you with income while waiting for a buyer. In addition, the more popular your site is, and the more visitors you have, the more chance a potential buyer will see it.

In the previous lesson we talked about a bunch of different ways of making money online. If you go out looking for those money making opportunities, you’ll find that there are literally thousands of them.

The question now is… How do I separate the real opportunities from the scams? Because we all know that the internet is full of scams, right?

Main points:

# I believe that most business opportunities are not scams. But just because something isn’t illegal, that doesn’t mean its something you want to get into.
# There ARE a lot of scammers out there though. There is no limit to how far a con artist will go to take your money. So you need to be on your guard.
# If it sounds too good to be true, it often is.
# Be an educated consumer. (here is a place to start: the FTC)
# Don’t buy ANY business opportunities. (unless you honestly know what you’re doing)

Action steps:

1) If you ARE knowledgeable about scams, don’t let down your guard.

2) If you don’t know about the most common Internet scams, do some research and become an educated consumer

3) Put your wallet away

2 Common Foods in Your Diet That May be Making You Gain Weight and Get Sick

Of course, you've probably heard a million times now how bad trans fats and high fructose corn syrup are for your health... so I'm not going to give you that same old story.

Instead, we need to look at a couple common foods that are probably in your diet in large quantities and may be causing major problems such as weight gain, headaches, sicknesses, indigestion, etc, etc... and those possible culprits are: Wheat and Dairy

Don't worry, I'm not going to tell you that both of these staples need to be eliminated permanently from your diet... but read on to see an interesting test that may help you a great deal...

In all of my years of personal training and nutrition counseling, if I had to choose a couple VERY simple dietary changes that have made the biggest difference for my clients in allowing them to FINALLY see fat loss results (and other health problems solved), it would be this following test:

1. Test removing all wheat products from your diet for 2 entire weeks, and take notice of how you feel, look, and your body composition.

2. Test removing all dairy from your diet for 2 entire weeks, and take notice of how you feel, look, and your body composition.

The best way to do this is to eliminate them both for 2 full weeks, and then reintroduce one at a time so that you can determine if one of them or both wheat and dairy are causing negative health effects for you.

Wheat and dairy are easily 2 of the biggest intolerances that a large percentage of the population has.

Now this doesn't mean that I'm saying you have to entirely eliminate wheat and dairy for the rest of your life, but what I am saying is that this is an important test to do for about 2 weeks to gauge if you see some dramatic changes in your body fat percentage, how you look and feel overall, your energy levels, and other health issues.

If you do the 2-week elimination of wheat and dairy and don't feel that it helped you at all or made you feel better, than you can probably do ok on moderate amounts of each.

Most people do not realize this, but a large percentage of the population has at least some degree of intolerance to the gluten in wheat and several other grains. The biggest offender is wheat though, as it's in such a large percentage of the average western diet... from breads, to pastas, to bagels, to cakes, wraps, cereals, etc, etc.

Most people don't have the extent of intolerance that a celiac has, but most people feel much better, improve all sorts of health problems, and also lose fat faster when they eliminate wheat from their diet.

In fact, I just had a client last week tell me that when she eliminated wheat from her diet, her chronic headaches disappeared almost instantly... these are headaches she's been having for years, and after eliminating wheat from her diet, they are gone (along with some body fat that she lost too!).

What about me? Do I still eat wheat?

Well, what I do is try to only eat wheat on cheat days, which many times means when I'm out at restaurants or at parties, barbeques, etc. Since wheat is so integral in the typical western diet, it's almost impossible to avoid when eating out or at other people's houses.

But I have virtually ZERO wheat products in my own house usually. Anything is simple to avoid at least 90% of the time, when it doesn't even exist in your cabinets!

Now with as anti-wheat as I am, I'm actually a big fan of dairy... However, ONLY if the dairy is raw milk or raw cheese and from grass-fed cows. Did you know that many people who "think" they are lactose intolerant actually can drink raw milk without a problem? This is because the live enzymes and friendly bacteria in raw milk aid in the digestion of the lactose and the proteins in milk. These enzymes and friendly bacteria are destroyed in pasteurized milk, which makes it more difficult to digest for many people.

If I can't get raw dairy, I choose to go dairy-free (with the exception of small amounts of yogurt). That's because I feel that the pasteurized, homogenized milk products are not suitable for long term consumption (but that's another story for another day).

Btw, you can always search to see if raw milk co-ops or farms are available in your area on RealMilk.com. You'd be surprised at how many co-ops are available that deliver from rural areas to urban areas. It's important to make sure that the farm is reputable and certified (in some states) to produce raw milk. Most raw milk farms are the cleanest operations in the entire dairy industry.

oh, and for the "germo-phobes" out there... I've been drinking gallons upon gallons of raw, full fat milk for about 6 years now, and I've never once gotten sick from it, nor has anybody else that I know that's been drinking it long term... so to all of these so-called "experts" out there telling you that "there's a reason they pasteurize milk, because it's dangerous if not"... well, they obviously don't know what they're talking about.

Plus, the full-fat milk certainly has not made me fatter either... I used to drink skim milk only for years, but now for the last 6 years, I've drank nothing but full fat raw milk, and I'm easily in the best shape of my life now and leaner than ever.

People are more likely to get sick from pasteurized milk, because mass factory farms are generally dirtier operations with animals that are in poorer health than grass-fed raw milk farms.

And don't forget the high levels of fat-burning, muscle building CLA in full-fat, raw, grass fed milk (and omega-3's)!

Back from the tangent... I think this elimination of wheat and (pasteurized) dairy is one of the most important tests anyone can easily do to see if wheat and dairy are negatively affecting them. After all, it's only 2 weeks to test yourself!

A couple quick things to note:

1. Eggs are NOT dairy... I'm not sure why so many people seem to think that eggs are a dairy product, but there is absolutely no dairy in eggs... eggs are basically meat if you want to categorize them. Eggs are practically a perfect food in terms of nutrition density.

2. When trying to eliminate wheat... this usually means that almost ALL processed foods have to be eliminated because wheat components are in so many processed foods.

Good luck with the test if you try it! Many people find it to be one of the best things they've done for their health.

"The New Kid in Town": MSN AdCenter

If you use Google Adwords or Yahoo Search Marketing (formerly known as Overture) for your pay per click advertising, you'll want to "listen up". There's a new competitor on the scene "MSN Ad Center". Microsoft's pay per click program is called "MSN Keywords" which is the first of several advertising options they have planned.

The program, which is very similar to Google Adwords allows you to bid on keywords associated with your online business and your ads will be displayed on MSN's search results pages reaching a potential audience of 49 million people every month.

Once approved for the program you'll need to create your own "ad center" account. The sign up fee of $5.00 will be charged to your credit card at that time.

The next step is to select the keywords you want your ads to appear for and how much you want to bid for each. The minimum bid is five cents. You're only charged for actual clicks on your ads not for their display. There is no minimum monthly budget. You'll also find a keyword research tool under the research tab to brainstorm new keywords or check on keyword performance.

If you already use "Google Adwords" or "Yahoo Search Marketing" you can easily import your existing ads and keyword lists. If you need assistance you can use what's called "Quick Launch" where a marketing analyst will assist you with your account setup. During beta there is no charge for this assistance.

One of the nicest feature of MSN's pay per click program is the "advanced targeting". You can select the target markets you want to reach (male, female, by age). You also can select locations, specific countries/regions, even select cities where you want your ads to appear. How about choosing the days of the week you want your ads to run, right down to the time? Yes, you can do it all right here. This is possible due to MSN's use of "audience data" to better target your ads to the audience who would be most interested in your offer. They call this "Audience Intelligence" which allows you to make smarter decisions when it comes to your online marketing campaigns.

Rather than discussing the tools used to make a lead capture page or landing page, let’s focus on how a lead capture page works.

- Create a Good Title or Header That Gets Big Attention

In most cases, the title or header will determine whether your prospects will visit more of your site and read your content. The title or header is the single most valuable part of your lead capture page as it is the first thing your potential customers will see. The title or header has the job of enticing your prospects’ interest and imploring them to know more about you, your products, and your services. You must grab their attention; otherwise, they will click off to other pastures.

Here are a few tips on creating a good title:

- Promise a benefit. Tell them that this is their door to success.
- Include words that generate curiosity like “what you need to know” or “the truth behind.”
- Shock your prospects. Use statements like “breakthrough” or “revealed.”
Dramatize your words, using emotional intensity.

Just make sure you upload them to your own server first. People don't take kindly upon your using their download link and putting a load on their servers. It's just the right thing to do. 5) Private Label Rights: This one is big right now. Everywhere you turn you'll see the opportunity to purchase "private label rights". This type of rights is very different then the others. Here once you purchase the ebook or articles, you can modify it anyway you like, re-package it, even add your name as the author.

With everyone clamoring for content for the search engine spiders, this is a very popular trend right now. The possibilities are endless with what you can do with the information you purchase.

Make sure when purchasing ebooks or articles with rights, that you're getting them from a trustworthy source. You want to make sure they have the rights to give you the rights in the first place. You'll also want to read over the "license" carefully and make sure you understand exactly what you are purchasing and how you can use it. * 1 large tomato diced (or 1 can crushed tomatoes)
* 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
* A couple cloves fresh diced garlic (or a tablespoon or so of crushed garlic from the jar)
* 1 large vidalia onion diced
* 2 red peppers diced

In a large pot, mix the olive oil, diced tomatoes, onions, peppers, and garlic together until it starts simmering and allow to cook for a few minutes. Then add in the shredded turkey and can of baked beans and simmer for a few more minutes. That's it... Simple, and maybe sounds a little weird, but I couldn't believe how delicious it was! Plus, it has a great mix of healthy carbs, protein, and fat, as well as a good dose of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.
