Scuplting Lessons

I decided to take Ankie Daanen's sculpting lessons that are currenly running in Doll Crafter magazine. So far, this has been the easiest time I have had sculpting a head.

I am using paperclay because that is what I have on hand. Ankie recommends Darwi clay, but I figure I am just practicing.

I like how the head came out, although I did not get the ears exactly the same. I think it is the right hand/left hand thing. I am extremely right handed so the left side is kind of wacky.

Bought this layer cake on my trip through LA last summer and made this quilt top.

I entered this giveaway on one of my favorite blog sites. The blog is called Ravelly and it is run by Rhonda. She hosts a BOW(block of the week) and a BOM(block of the month).
