Hello, everyone!

While ToonsTunes died quite soon after its release, it is without a doubt that it was one of the best games on the internet back in 2009-2012. It did not have as many members as Chobots, so that made it a much friendlier place as almost everyone knew each other, like a big family. We had great times as friends, and we even had our silly differences. What mattered at the end was that we had fun, made music and made tons of friends as we went on.

It's been a complete decade since the release of the game, and the recent quarantine has given us all a little too much time to reflect on the past. So I did what most people do in nostalgia; try to find mentions of the game on social media and google. Unfortunately, I found little to nothing for ToonsTunes past 2013 and even then it was really minor. Whereas Chobots, in comparison, has a couple of people checking in on Reddit every now and then and even has an online private server even today.

So I decided to take initiative, because Chobots was so massive I barely remember many people from there and those I do never came to Reddit or so. ToonsTunes, on the other hand, was much smaller so I remember almost everyone from there that was a regular and even my previous blog-post here mentioned so many of them in a shout-out.

I don't know if anyone will come looking for anything related to ToonsTunes in this day and age, but in case you're reading this: feel free to hit me up! I created a subreddit for ToonsTunes here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ToonsTunes/

The End of ToonsTunes: A Farewell From M Junaid

Hello everyone.

It's been a long time since I've written anything on ToonsTunes City. I can still remember the day I joined the site very well...

I was just in Chobots when one of the agents suddenly sent me(and many others) a message that a new virtual world called 'ToonsTunes' is in beta and is giving out beta hats and such. I, being the typical virtual world fan, quickly went to the virtual world and expected to get my beta hat. Although I did get it, back in 2010, the day I joined ToonsTunes, I was kind of a noob and didn't refresh to have access to the hat. So I was annoying everyone and messing up the party, asking for the hat until I found it. Everyone had took pictures of it since it was a beta party, and I was included in it. Boy, what a first impression!

After that, I made many friends on the site, some of them turned on me, some of them supported me, it was all fun and silly, years of great fun. We've all had our share of silly in the world, such as creating factions and fighting each other, while catching the bad guys and reporting them to the moderators. I've made many friends on the world, out of whom, a few are still in contact with me, while I have lost dozens of them on the other hand.

But out of everything, of course. The virtual world itself. I was definitely blown away... it was a virtual world that allowed you to create your own music, have your own music concerts, while attending awesome concerts featuring original songs from the staff of the world! Such as the 'Back To School' concerts the whole staff hosted.

Pictures from the last 'Rockin' Back To School' concert hosted by the staff, and was attended by many important individuals of the virtual world.

The virtual world, after a long time since it's release and the end of beta, included membership, about which many were not happy about. But fortunately, having the extremely friendly and cooperative staff we had of the game, such as everyone's favourite moderator 'Nanibobo' and the owner himself, 'Paul Bohan' a.k.a 'Big Kahuna', as well as his wife 'Lucky Me', the staff started hosting monthly contests in which you could win membership and the elite currency 'Dymonz'. I always won the membership every month but then a girl close to the staff, 'Debbie', told me I shouldn't win everytime and should give others a chance to, so I stopped participating as much and let others have a better chance at winning(I always aced #1).

Then there were old users leaving while the newer ones returned, loads of classy music, and the inclusion of being able to put in your own voice into your songs just made the fun bigger!

I actually did not have as many friends off the internet(I did have some but most became distant after I changed my school), and ToonsTunes was the place where I found many great friends. It was always a lot of fun talking to them, playing with them, making music and sharing with each other and everything else the virtual world offered. We also had some other fun such as making funny pictures and a special 'travelling' album where I and other tooners(though the first three are only of me, the fourth included others) go on a vacation! As well as making all the music videos, short movies, reality shows and loads, loads of other fun stuff with friends on ToonsTunes and even staff members! (you can see the videos by clicking 'here')

Unfortunately, slowly, people started to leave ToonsTunes one by one, and as they left, I also ended up losing contact with them entirely, losing dozens of friends, while also making new ones on the way.

Then I could not be on the virtual world for some months in 2013, and one day what was already predicted by many due to lack of members day by day and not even profit...

ToonsTunes shut down on May, 2013.

After everyone tried to open it but ended up with a dead screen, rumour started breaking out that the virtual world is dead, as it's official blog and the virtual world itself lost it's domains and the official page had been stopped on the updates, with Nanibobo, who ran the page, disappearing from Facebook.

Fortunately, I was able to talk to Paul Bohan(Big Kahuna) and he told me that the game is not dead and will return along with many new updates and a cool mobile app. I instantly posted the whole news and the remaining users of the world and I thought it will be back. We waited, and waited, and now it is October, 2014.

It saddens me to learn that the game's domain is dead, so is the domain of the official blog, the music camp and so on. There is not a single word from anyone. It is rather official now that the world is dead. ToonsTunes is dead...

I've had a great time in the world and it was always fun meeting new people and making music! It is sad that the world is now dead, but as they say, all good things come to an end...

I have lost contact with the majority of my friends from the virtual world, while a few I still have contact with, such as Android, Hengsen, Creaturez, PCChip and such.

ToonsTunes Has NOT Shut Down + New Official Announcement!

Hello Tooners!

M Junaid here! It's been a while since I've posted here. Lets cut the long story short, I've been really, really busy and have been(and still) suffering from technical issues.

Anyways, since May 21st, ToonsTunes' social networking activity died. Then an error appeared that rendered the users unable to use it. What followed after(also in May), was the sudden disappearance of ToonsTunes itself AND it's Official Blog, with no explanation given. At all.

So, the folks at Facebook suggested that ToonsTunes has probably shut down and it turned into a serious rumour, with ToonsTunes officially considered dead by all the Tooners.

Fortunately, all the rumours are untrue. YES, it has been officially confirmed!

So, I decided to contact the man, BIG KAHUNA himself, and he has stated that he is:

"Working on relaunching ToonsTunes with a mobile app as well."

Yes! You heard the man! ToonsTunes will be returning along with an all-new Mobile App! Ever wanted to play ToonsTunes on your mobile devices? Well, now it will be possible!

When I told BIG KAHUNA of the rumours, he stated:

"It's down temporarily. We will be coming back! It will be a few weeks still. Redoing some of the back end stuff - not sure if people will notice differences on the front end at first."

Just as a confirmation since some Tooners have been wondering, I asked BIG KAHUNA if the Tooners will have their items and ranks once ToonsTunes is back online, BIG KAHUNA confirmed that:

"That's my understanding. I will try my best to make sure it's true!"

So, long story short, ToonsTunes has NOT shut down and it WILL be back in a few weeks time. But that's not it, there will be an all-new Mobile App coming out as well! Unfortunately, I couldn't get more information about the Mobile App, but sooner or later, it'll all be revealed.

Hello Tooners!
It's been a long time since I've made a post on ToonsTunes City. Well, for those of you who thought it died, it did not. I was just on a long break. You can pretty much say that TT City is back now. Lets do a recap of what the users who have left and ToonsTunes City itself has been missing out. The road so far:
1. ''Dark Matter''. First of all, the major thing that has changed throughout the time, is a new moderator! Yes, a new person in staff! His username is ''dark_matter''.

2.''Frog it up''. Remember that good ol' used to be ''rare'' 'Frog' shirt? Well, it's on public sale now. Go and get it!

3. ''Stellar Chair''. A new chair has been released for pods.

4. ''ToonsTunes Choice Awards''. ToonsTunes City won the honourable award of ''#1 ToonsTunes Blog'' on the second ToonsTunes Choice Awards.

5. ''The Once-One Timer White Platy''. Remember that awesome contest started by me? Five lucky winners won the supposed-to-be one timer only White Platy and White Drums. Well, the White Platy can now be sold on Public sale if one hosts a party.

ToonsTunes got a new bug! ''Elf Shoes'' and ''Wizard Shoes'' have gone ''invisible. They can be bought and they are still in the inventories, but they are ''invisible'' in both the shop and inventory.

New Hair!

Hello Tooners!
Long time no post huh? Well, being honest, there hasn't really been any much of activities or updates on ToonsTunes. What we have mostly been waiting for were new hair items. Well, we only had caps and stuff, barely what you would call hair. So, finally, the wait is over, we got new hair items on ToonsTunes!

The ''afro'' hair items were created a long time ago, but they were unreleased, they are finally out now. The other 2 new designs are never been seen before!

The items cost ''Dymonz'' which can only be earned if you are a member, haven't reached level 5 or through several contests.

Seriously?

Everyone get's the chance to make great things and get it popular, I don't force people to come on my blog, or I don't stop them from visiting other blogs. If they want visitors, they should do awesome stuff which would ''attract'' the visitors, like they are attracted on TT City, rather then asking others to quit their blogs, seriously?

Well, my answer is definitely NO. I worked hard, I deserve this. It doesn't matter if I have 36,000 hits or 40,000, if I keep doing good stuff, they'll visit it. TT City isn't stopping anyone from visiting other blog's, nor forcing to visit TT City. Visitors check out what they like, what attracts them. So, I would really reccomend upgrading your blog, so people visit it, I'm NOT quitting TT City, sorry.

Hello Tooners!

ToonsTunes has some new decorations, probably for Christmas, since its REAL close. The decorations are the same as the old ones, there are small differences, such as the tree's are less then before, and the Blue Deck lights are different. I like the decorations, since it doesn't have the annoying glitches any more, which appeared long time ago.

Spooktacular Halloween Concert

Hello Tooners.
The Spooktacular Halloween Concert was awesome, I loved it, and I know, so do you. It was awesome, but there were lots of ''Technical Difficulties''. Therefore, due to the problems, ToonsTunes City couldn't cover much of the concert, but the main parts have been covered. The all new song ''Halloween Night'' have been recorded. The sound is fine but the video is out of sync. Enjoy the new songs and catch some of the spooky moments of ''Spooktacular'' concert!

Space Survival - New Game On ToonsTunes

Ever since ToonsTunes started, there had been 2 sitting places in the Landing Pad. It didn't change for over an year. A few months ago, the right sitting chairs were replaced by an un-accescible door called Launching Pad. It stayed like that for like over 2 months and then, finally, it is opened for ''V.I.P Members'', sorry normal users. There are 3 doors inside, at the left, there is an in-accessible blank door, in the middle, there is a game called ''Space Blast'' which is not accessible yet. At last, the door at the right, has written on it : Space Survival, though when you move your mouse cursor over it, it is written: Survive Space and when you enter it, there is a game called ''Space Survival'', dunno why the names are misplaced a little.. The much awaited( like 5 months) ''Multiplayer Game'' is still absent. Lets hope the Multiplayer Game arrives soon.
