The Company managed total land bank of about 96,149 hectares (including plasma area), 48% of which or 46,048 hectares has been planted. Around 33% or 15,270 hectares has reached a matured stage with impressive yields. BWPT also operates two palm oil mills with the total throughput capacity of 105 tonnes of FFB per hour. We manage seven oil palm plantation located in Kalimantan. Basic Function :
Assist superior to monitor and cost control Engineering and Construction projects, estimate, forecast, and report as early as possible potential cost overrun for every SIB (stay in business) capital construction in order to meet construction objectives within time, approved budget and client satisfactory.

Job Responsibility :
1. Analyze approved AFE, study the scope of works, cost estimate, and drawings in order to prepare appropriate project budget and cost/cash flow schedule.
2. Analyze breakdown structure of a project and its approved cost estimate and break down the cost to follow the breakdown structure and set up job number structure to effectively monitor and control project cost.
3. Prepare weekly QURR (Quality Unit Rate Report), field monitoring, calculate actual % complete to date, taking progress pictures, and construction narrative to measure project productivity and cost effectiveness to Management
and give feedback to area owner to continuously improve quality and productivity and as one of the tools to measure KPI bonus.
4. Estimate cost and erection man hours for Operating
Departments work orders, monitor and control cost allocation to ensure accurate cost allocation and promote cost effectiveness. Analyze variance and prepare FCN (field change notice) to have allocated budget adjusted.
5. Check and monitor accurate job number usage for purchase and warehouse requisitions, steel and fabrication work orders to LIP, equipments, small tools, and concrete deliverytimesheet, etc. in order to have the right actual cost allocation to each project to accurately monitor
project progress and to ensure and promote cost effective to support company 5% challenge program.
6. Analyze monthly man-hours report and its overtimes (labor costing) to provide feedback to each area owner to effective

7. Analyze and calculate monthly actual labor rate to each project to be compared with the estimate rate as a tool to
review and control performance, measure progress made, and cost forecasting to the end of project.
8. Assist superior in preparing cost report on weekly and monthly basis based on job numbers and cost estimate
structure and then distribute these reports to management and to its area owner to show project progress and as a tools to effectively monitor and control cost for each projects.
9. Assist superior in determining which projects to be carried over to the following year and calculate cost to be carried to the next year budget to ensure the remaining cost to the completion of project are included on the following capital budget.
10. Administer and maintain appropriate filling system for all project & cost control document archives to easily be located when needed.

The key factor which drove the early history of the enterprise that would become the Nestlé Company was Henri Nestlé's search for a healthy, economical alternative to breastfeeding for mothers who could not feed their infants at the breast.

In the mid-1860s Nestlé, a trained pharmacist, began experimenting with various combinations of cow's milk, wheat flour and sugar in an attempt to develop an alternative source of infant nutrition for mothers who were unable to breast feed. His ultimate goal was to help combat the problem of infant mortality due to malnutrition.

He called the new product Farine Lactee Henri Nestlé. Nestlé's first customer was a premature infant who could tolerate neither his mother's milk nor any of the conventional substitutes, and had been given up for lost by local physicians. People quickly recognized the value of the new product, after Nestlé's new formula saved the child's life and within a few years, Farine Lactee Nestlé was being marketed in much of Europe.

Henri Nestlé also showed early understanding of the power of branding. He had adopted his own coat of arms as a trademark; in his German dialect, Nestlé means 'little nest'. One of his agents suggested that the nest could be exchanged for the white cross of the Swiss flag. His response was firm: "I regret that I cannot allow you to change my nest for a Swiss cross .... I cannot have a different trademark in every country; anyone can make use of a cross, but no-one else may use my coat of arms."

Meanwhile, the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company, founded in 1866 by Americans Charles and George Page, broadened its product line in the mid-1870s to include cheese and infant formulas.The Nestlé Company, which had been purchased from Henri Nestlé by Jules Monnerat in 1874, responded by launching a condensed milk product of its own. The two companies remained fierce competitors until their merger in 1905.

Some other important firsts occurred during those years. In 1875 Vevey resident Daniel Peter figured out how to combine milk and cocoa powder to create milk chocolate. Peter, a friend and neighbor of Henri Nestlé, started a company that quickly became the world's leading maker of chocolate and later merged with Nestlé. PERTAMINA’s scope of business incorporates the upstream and downstream sectors. The upstream sector covers oil, gas and geothermal energy exploration and production both domestically and overseas. The foregoing is pursued through own operations and through partnerships in the form of joint operations with JOBs (Joint Operating Bodies), TACs (Technical Assistance Contracts) and JOCs (Joint Operating Contracts), whereas the downstream sector includes processing, marketing, trading and shipping. Commodities produced range from Fuel (BBM) and Non Fuel (Non BBM), LPG, LNG, petrochemicals to Lube Base oil.

With the enactment of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 22 of 2001 on November 23, 2001 relating to Oil and Gas, Law No. 8 of 1971 relating to the State Oil and Gas Mining Company was declared void. In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 22 of 2001, PERTAMINA was transformed into a Public Liability Company (Persero) designated PT. PERTAMINA (PERSERO) under Government Regulation No. 31 of 2003. All existing PERTAMINA provisions including its structural organization, employment guidelines and procedures as well as other matters associated with its duties and responsibilities, unless such matters are in contravention of the said Government Regulation, are declared to continue in force until the Company provides otherwise.
