This CD has been playing nonstop in my car since I got it. It's definitely not easy for me to get up and go to a job that I hate every day but worshiping along with these songs on the way there and back has helped remind me where my focus is and what's important in life. Hillsong is always my favorite worship but there's something extra powerful about this one. I especially love that the songs were recorded all over the world so you get a kind of cool connected feeling to God's people everywhere.

Well what can I say?? This CD is truly one of the best I have ever bought. God really uses this group tremendously. Ever since I have got this CD I can't stop listening to it. It's really great. I recommend it 100% You wont Regret it. God Bless You

Fireflight - Unbreakable 2008

With loads of publicity attention stemming from promotional placement in NBC's Bionic Woman, Fireflight seems poised to make a splash. Here's hoping the show's bad fortunes aren't a sign of things to come for Unbreakable. The band's sophomore effort is a tidy continuation of what the quintet started with their 2006 debut, The Healing of Harms, which spawned a couple of hits at Christian rock radio and earned the group a small following.

Fireflight's press materials liken Dawn Richardson to Patti Smith and Joan Jett—the nerve! Her voice is entirely too pretty and pristine and lacks the grit of either legendary rocker. Richardson is more reminiscent of BarlowGirl and Inhabited, with a slightly harder edge and a tad more attitude.

That's not to discredit Richardson—she is one potent singer, soaring and hitting every note with ease, like the female equivalent of Linkin Park's Chester Bennington.

Speaking of highly produced nu-metal, that's the most natural way of describing Unbreakable; the album rarely rises above chugging, Pro Tools-enhanced guitar layers. Linkin Park is again a good reference point, but with a thinner rock edge and minus the hip-hop affectations. Some songs are more melodic and pop-inflected than others, like the slightly symphonic "Brand New Day" and the acoustic-tinged "Wrapped in Your Arms," but overall, familiarity abounds.

Though not as gut-wrenching or achingly honest as Flyleaf, Fireflight's strongest calling card is their message: an empowering call for youth to take a stand for faith. Themes of loneliness, depression, and emptiness are scattered throughout, but they're always presented in contrast to God's everlasting hope. It's a commendable stance, one that could be made even more impactful were Fireflight to add more teeth and intensity to a sound that, contrary to this album's title, is less sturdy and powerful than it could be.

Maybe a few of you that love to hear music and always hunting some of new christian music from internet and the one of biggest place is multiply.com
Anyway about a month a go there are much people have disapointed including me and maybe you! Why ? Because we cant download a song from multiply anymore. From a source that i have read the reason for multiply to closed the link for download is all because there are
complaint from producent, artist because there are a lot people just download and hear from multiply.

But its oke, start from there dont take time to be disapointed in along time. The rules have been made for coross :D Theres a way in each problem. We can keep download a music from Multiply. Because they have one backdoor to download the music. This way i have been reading from some milist.

Foolish Things - Even Now (2008)

Colorado-based Foolish Things formed more than eight years ago, taking their time to develop their talent and fan base. They were even a winner at GMA's Music in the Rockies seminar back in 2000. And it wasn't until 2006 when they finally released their national debut, Let's Not Forget the Story, through Inpop Records. Yet in spite of all their efforts and perseverance, the band is independent again for their follow-up effort, Even Now.

Oh well, there are worse things nowadays than being independent in the music business. But the last album suffered in quality, sounding too independent to compete with better-mixed pop/rock bands in the Christian market. The same is true here, in spite of the production by Tommy Collier (Circleslide). The music doesn't sound cheap as much as it's rather muddy, lacking the professional spit-and-polish of a major release—the melody, strings, and loops in leadoff track "Shooting in the Dark" never quite gel. And it doesn't help that lyrics and liner notes are riddled with typos.

We Shot the Moon, formerly known as The Honor Roll, is a band from San Diego, California featuring Jonathan Jones the singer of Waking Ashland, in addition to Dan Koch, and Joe Greenetz both from the band Sherwood.

The band was formed when Jonathan Jones' band, Waking Ashland, broke up. On July 21, 2007, the band put up 4 demos on their

MySpace page. In August 2007, they changed their name from The Honor Roll to We Shot the Moon and moved the songs to a new MySpace page, whose title reflected the new band name; they have kept the old MySpace page online but have replaced most of the content with an image linking to their new page.

They entered the studio on August 22, 2007, to record a full-length album. The title of the LP is Fear And Love. They embarked on a U.S. Tour at the end of September and it went through mid November. They then followed up with a tour in Japan. We Shot The Moon is currently opening for Sherwood on their first headlining tour.

They have a great rock sound. This album features powerful guitars, quality vocals, and a very good overall sound. Another plus is that they have meaningful lyrics from a Christian perspective.

I had never heard of Decemberadio until I heard the single, 'Drifter', which is very good. It was good enough that I decided to check out their album.

If you have not heard any of their songs before, but you like 70s style rock and roll only with positive lyrics, this would be a good CD to buy.

For fans of Linkin Park and Incubus. From an independently produced 3 song EP, the band's first single '3 Times Denied' garnered the #3 position behind P.O.D. and Lifehouse on Christian Rock stations. 10 tracks. 2002.

Even though this is a one hit wonder album by a band now split up since 2003, it has to be said that this album is simply amazing. Like many other reviewers before me, every song is likeable and the riffs and vocals are pure bliss. My favourite songs on this album were three songs 'Horizon', 'Hear Me Cry' and 'Higher Ground'. The songs Horizon and Hear Me Cry made it to my New Years Party List and I listen to this album almost once every second day - it is that good. All the songs have merit and you can listen to it at home relaxing, with friends in the car, or at a party chilling with family. The reader must realize that whilst this band comes under the banner of Contemporary Christian rock group, it is simply more of a rock band that is geared up for young people with their messages of self-worth, hope and being one with God.

Ace Troubleshooter came to an abrupt end in February 2005 when lead singer John Warne left to play bass for Relient K. Toby David posted the announcement of the Ace's death on the band's message board, mentioning that even though he was not an original member of the band, he felt like he was. [1] It has been said that Ace was starting to fall apart as it was, and they were not going anywhere, which may have led to the band's split.

Genius or lunacy -- take your pick. But either way, give credit to Aaron Weiss and gang for another unique taste of Christian indie rock sentiment. In more of his half-shouting, stream-of-consciousness style, Weiss throws any sense of traditional song form out the door. Lyrically speaking, Brother, Sister is more cryptic and nonsensical than almost anything else in Tooth & Nail Records' catalog. It proves an arduous task to identify any faith-based themes on the disc besides a desperate plea to reconcile one's place before God. Although there is less pounding rock than on its debut album, the group continues to explore sounds that make you want to shudder and tap along simultaneously. The one theme appears to be an obsession with mischievous critters -- spiders, porcupines, and wolves, to name a few. You'll either "get it" or you won't, but you definitely won't forget the eccentric sound of this oft-loved band.

His music a cross between '70s-style light rock and orchestrated pop, Steven Curtis Chapman has been one of the most prominent performers of contemporary Christian music since the '80s. Born and raised in Paducah, KY, Chapman learned to play several instruments while hanging out in his father's music store, excelling at guitar and piano. As a young man, he enrolled as a pre-med student at Anderson College in Indiana. He soon decided to pursue a music career and dropped out to go to Nashville, where he began working in a music show at Opryland USA. When not performing, he was busy writing songs, a skill he learned from his father. One of Chapman's tunes was recorded by the Imperials, a prominent gospel group, marking the beginning of his songwriting success; many of gospel and country's brightest stars, including Sandi Patti, Billy Dean, Glen Campbell, and Roger Whittaker, have gone on to record Chapman's songs.

Although several different labels and music publishers were interested in him by 1987, he decided to sign with the major Christian music company Sparrow. That year he cut his first album, First Hand. The first single released from the album, "Weak Days," made it to number two on the contemporary Christian chart. His second album, 1988's Real Life Conversations, earned him four more hits, including the number one song "His Eyes." Co-written with James Isaac Elliott, it earned the Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year award from the Gospel Music Association in 1989. That year, he also won a GMA award for Best Songwriter of the Year. Released later that year, his third album, More to This Life, contained four number one hits and in 1990 earned him an unprecedented ten nominations at the GMA Awards (he won five). His next album, For the Sake of the Call, which contained five number one singles and earned him another slew of GMA awards and his first Grammy in the Best Pop Gospel Album category, only strengthened his position as the king of Christian music.

In 1992, Chapman made a successful bid to attract a more mainstream audience with The Great Adventure, which also won a Grammy, and its accompanying title track video. When Sparrow Records was purchased by EMI/Liberty, they began marketing the album in discount stores, and in 1993, it went gold. Also released in 1993 (both as a video and CD), The Live Adventure won more GMA awards and also earned Chapman a new award from American Songwriter magazine, Songwriter and Artist of the Year. Chapman released his seventh album, Heaven in the Real World, in 1994 and embarked on a major tour. In 1996, Chapman released Signs of Life, which was followed three years later by Speechless. Though Chapman's albums had always done well on the Billboard CCM charts, in 2001, after the release of Declaration, he really began to get even more attention on the Top 200. Both it and 2002's All About Love peaked in the Top 15, and his 2004 record All Things New made it to number 22. In September 2005, in time for the holiday season, Chapman released All I Really Want for Christmas, and the following year Musical Blessing came out.

With two platinum and nine gold records Steven Curtis Chapman probably deserves to be cut some slack for personal projects. Instead of compromise though, the veteran performer refocuses in on the commitment of his 18- year marriage to his wife Mary Beth, and uses that as the nucleus for All About Love. It's an honest, passionately delivered disc that reflects a commitment to vows and his wife. "How Do I love Her" is a song laced with the beauty of a baby grand surrounded by simple bass notes and an acoustic guitar. The tune weaves a melody that's both sincere and fitting. Make it through "11-06-64" without a tear and you're much less emotional than most. Chapman's eloquence here is enriching, both lyrically and musically. The cut boasts the prominence of his wife's birthday, weaving a tapestry a la James Taylor. " I Will Be Here" is one of this release's most touching moments. The brilliance of Chapman's' lyrics are only matched by the beauty of the cut's sweeping strings. Regardless of the inspiration, it has to be difficult to write with one specific theme in mind. While still appealing, a few cuts seem a bit over-sweetened. Tunes like "Miracle of You" and "I'll Take Care of You" are examples of a mishmash of influences. At times, Frankie Vali, Pablo Cruise, and Harry Connick Jr. seem to be emulating from the tunes. Imagine finding 15 love songs on one collection without smut, sexuality, or blatant overtones. Steven Curtis Chapman delivers a lyrical batch of uplifting slants on commitment, passion, and worship that culminate in one beautiful message of love.
