Must-have Jumpsuits for Women

Holaaa everyone! Sorry for the longg hiatus! Welcome to my first post of the year :)

Chinese New Year is around the corner, and I bet everyone must be busy shopping for new clothes and stuff. Well, when it comes to outfit, I fancy jumpsuits most of the time. As I've always have a thought that ladies can look effortlessly stylish when wearing a jumpsuit. I would normally choose jumpsuit for casual occasions and also during travelling time because you can save luggage space *packing light tips* and save time without having to worry about the problem of mix and match! Besides, I think even career ladies can pull off the jumpsuits at the workplace too.

There are several kinds of jumpsuits that I would normally choose to wear:

Strap/strapless jumpsuit is one of my selections. You will never go wrong with those jumpsuits as it can be easily accessorised with a nice statement necklace / earrings for a dramatic look or go simple with an outerwear. Sometimes topping up with a nice cropped blazer or cardigan can give a stylish chic and daring look.

Well, as for working ladies, to remain simple at the office and still appear elegant, just pair with any colours of belt is able to show off the curves and silhouette of the body.

Lastly, floral print playsuits are always in my list of choice too. I often put on floral one-piece and off we go! It's the most easiest outfit to-go with when you're lazy to mix and match! As simply pair it together with a pair of sandals/heels/wedges will eventually pull off a sleek stylish and girlish look.

By the way, am so happy to be able to blog again after so long! This is just a sharing post and let's share with me about what look you normally prefer during Chinese New Year or casual occasions?

Hello all! I'm still surviving.... in one piece, in Kuantan xD Missing in action for almost two months, so sorry for the hiatus. I still miss blogging, just that being caught up with working life has made me lazy to brainstorm for blogging. Fyi, I'm posted in Kuantan for work at the moment. So I actually have a mission to self: dig out hidden gem in Kuantan!!!

Before I came, everyone was like, huh Kuantan? Never been there, it sounds ulu and etc. Initially I thought so too. However, staying here for nearly two months, I would conclude that, it is not a bad place to live in :) Not as bad as I thought.

So, here's a cafe in Kuantan which is worth blogging about. Coffee Gallery Malaysia at Starcity, just a stone's throw away behind my house :D Perhaps, I would hang out at this place until the boss know me :D lolol cuz their brekkie is surprisingly on par and more worthy than some of the cafes in Penang.

A lil disappointment on their matcha latte though, abit tasteless to me.

RM9.9 each for Mochatella and Dark Chocolate

Mochatella and their hot chocolate are the must try. They're good.

Their cakes still have room for improvement though. Their taste is fine but not as good as the other cafe I tried.

My target is to try out all the food in their menu. As crazy as it sounds, but I'm gonna do it XD

Sekeping Victoria Penang

Sekeping Victoria is not a new place in Penang, but previously a venue for art exhibitions, events, loft gallery etc.

So they just recently started their cafe two weeks ago as told by one of the crews.

It's my first time here and I am so in love with their rustic woody interior! Quite a cozy and comfortable place to chill at in a fine afternoon.

The space is surrounded by tiny trees, it feels as if you're having a cup of coffee in the middle of jungle. Naturale environment I'd say. lol.

Had a double scoop ice-cream coconut + matcha flavor (weird combi I know) at RM4.50

Didn't get to try their food and coffee as I was pretty full that time. Hope to try out their menu some other time! Perhaps, let me know your feedback after trying them? :D

云南 | Day 3 严家大院，双廊

大理最后的早餐-青石桥豆粉，据说很出名，但是我们都觉得一点都不好吃。而食物照应该是忘了拍xD

包车到双廊洱海去要 140元。路途经过三塔，拍了拍到此一游照就走人

又经过了喜洲。来到大理，请务必到严家大院参观张家园。据说是很有钱的白族建的。

他们的宅的确很大很特别

这，就是我们在双廊的住宿啦。已介绍过，可读这篇。

这里就是海地生活，只能说，我大爱这个地方！风景太太太赞啦！连不爱摄影的也会在这个地方拍个够。

在海地边听音乐，边看海，边写明信片，是人生一大享受啊！灵感会不停地涌上来。只能说这是我爱的生活步调。

只有在外国会做的事情，在他们的lobby heaa 成这样，超自在的，因为没人会认得我嘛:p

永远不会忘记，当关上所有房间登，躺在地上观星星的那一幕！

超！漂！亮！

很可惜相机永远比不上肉眼。

Dream Trip to Macau

I have been to Macau once, which was four years ago. However, it was quite a rush day trip! Just randomly checking on Nuffnang page today and noticed that Nuffnang is helding a dream trip to Macau contest! Hehe.. so here comes a chance to try my luck.

Well, if I were given a chance to travel to Macau again, I would want to do these three amazing things that I regretted I never did / could have done during my last trip in Macau which are:

1) First thing first, I ~~want to~~ MUST challenge ~~bungee jump~~ sky walking lahh. Bungee jumping is out of my limit, I'm not ready for it yet. Fyi, I have height phobia. So, skywalking is considered a tough task for me already. I still remember how my lips turned white when I was up at their bullet proof floor glasses of Macau Tower! Well, I really want to overcome this phobia and get the feel of adrenaline rush once in a life time. My life is too dull and boring lately. Hence, I need something to spice up my life now :p

If you are interested, you can read up my previous Macau post here mentioning that I really regretted of not trying it after I came back! Also, it would be a real DARE for me if I'm chosen to be one of the lucky winners. No worries, I will confirm taking up this challenge this time and be sure to take a breathtaking panaroma skyline view of Macau as a proof of achievement then xD

2) Eat Portuguese egg tart all day and night, and explore their food culture! It was sad that I was short of time back then to do food hunt marathon in Macau plus I had not had enough of my Portuguese egg tarts yet!! Would love to go back again and explore all the food I had missed out last time. I have always loved hongkie's style restaurant vibes.

3) Want to explore the hidden gems in Macau. During my last trip, I just managed to visit their famous Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, a church and The Venetian. I'm a photography / instagram junkie if you don't know and now you know :p I woud love to explore their lorong kia (alleys) which I didn't get to explore and take pictures last time and document every beautiful corners of Macau, be it UNESCO buildings, streets, churches & temples, people and lifestyle of Macau.

Why Nuffnang should send me this superb opportunity? Because, I, being a backpack traveler all these while, it is all about budget, budget and BUDGET on every single trip! It would be great if I had the chance to know how it feels like for having an all expenses paid holiday like a boss! :D

Just went to Joyeux café this afternoon and suddenly haz the ohm to blog about it.

Environment wise, it was fine. But it was quite occupied when I was there. Wanted to take upstairs' seats wan but too bad it was fulled also. Maybe it's because they have instagram-worthy-pic interior upstairs :D

Other than parking problem, I haz nothing to complaint about. Duh~ all the cafes in Penang has parking problem. *inserts sarcasm*

Overall the food was good with huge portion. A I-will-be-back-again cafe:)

云南 | Day 2 洱海，喜洲，大理古城

到了大理，搭8号路公交直到终点站（1元）。在中国第一次搭他们的公交，战战兢兢的说。毕竟拿着行李巴士上人又多。但对我而言，这是背包客必须体验的！

客栈老板很体贴，知道我们在大理的时间不多，就和我们讨论了下行程。

大理的第一餐！它叫饵块。真心好吃。

租了两台小绵羊，总共60元（整天）。跟你说个秘密，我并没有自行车驾照。还好他们也没有很严厉，要不然环海计划就泡汤了。应该是我学习能力强，当场没两下就上手了。嘻嘻

环海西路到喜州去咯！路途其实还蛮遥远的。但是沿路风景美到没话说。

喜洲，是个非常宁静又有文化的小乡村。

喜洲必吃的米线！非常地赞！话说我们非常地幸运，我们是最后的顾客，通常都很快卖完就收档。

喜洲粑粑。有甜的咸的。印象中好像是咸的比较好吃。

又骑了大概30公里路打道回府。

这就是3个女生的晚餐。

逛了逛大理古城，这里其实还蛮不错一下的咯。cafe很多，只可惜没时间探索。

买了啤酒，回客栈和老板和其他刚认识的同好聊天。这样就过了一天。

A summary of my trip to BKK recently! It's been 8 years since I last went to BKK as my parents always against me to travel to Thailand after so many social issues happened to them. So, I was quite surprised when my mom said YES to this trip! haha. It was actually my friend's company trip, so yeah, they're not so worried I supposed :D I was quite anticipated even though it is just our neighborhood country! I miss shopping in BKK and never had the experience of going floating market and so I was very happy I went this time!

23 days, RM13k, five countries & nine cities in Europe

Aha! Most of you must be curious about the amount I spent for my entire Europe trip. Can't tell you the exact amount but it's around RM13k plus, which is the amount I'd budgeted before I go (inclusive of international & local air tics, accommodations, transportation, museums entry tics and of course, shopping!). And no, I ain't a spoilt rich girl. I've been earning my own pocket money since I started my uni. So, I'm literally BROKE right now cuz I spent all my savings in ONE GO (毕业旅行就是要豁出去). lol. But, I think worth it all la, graduation trip mah, must have a memorable and unforgettable one right? *smirks*

'Homework' we did for our trip. They looked like pile of assignments and one of my friends asked, ''你们是去考导游吗? You guys going for tour guide exams is it?'' tsk tsk. haha. To be frank, it's not an easy task to plan on a Europe trip, especially it's your first time and on your own. But, thankfully I've got two experienced cousins who gave me advises for this trip :D Just be sure that you are well-prepared and know the do's and don't's of the particular country beforehand. 我也觉得自己很不简单，可以乱跑到酱远 xD

Countries & cities I went :

France - Paris (4 days)

Spain - Barcelona (5 days)

Italy - Milan, Florence, Rome, Venice (One week)

Ireland - Delvin, Dublin (4 days)

UK- Belfast (3 days)

Well, I didn't overspent and managed my expenses quite well, I think*. Spain and Ireland are the countries that I would love to go back again. And maybe, Italy, for shopping, and the UK for London. I really really want to share about my travel experience, like the hidden gems/places I found, reasonable price and comfy accommodations I booked, good food in Spain (hehe Barcelona has got a lot of cheap and nice food!) etc. For me, traveling and exploring new places always inspires me! I'm pretty inspired right now and will try producing some entries during these holidays! Will be back again. xx

Perfect combination of sweet-sour taste with a small bite-sized of crab cake.

Finally had my craving satisfied! teehee, long time never had oyster already!! To me, the topping is amazingly nice and the oyster is freshly served too :D

Roasted Pumpkin Ginger with Seafood Chowder 烤南瓜姜汁烩海鲜羹

Pumpkin taste is not strong enough but the added ginger and seafood made the soup appetizing!

Main Dishes 金盛主菜

Baked Fish with Spicy Pineapple Chutney & Fragrant Coconut Milk Rice 菠萝辣酱烤香鱼烩椰奶浆饭

I enjoyed this dish the most as the taste is very different from the ordinary nasi lemak. The baked fish is very well-cooked and the tasteful pineapple chutney topping is a plus point to the dish.

Sambal Squid Malay Traditional Style 传统大马风味香辣三拜墨鱼

For spicy food lover, the sambal is pretty hot enough to stimulate your salivary glands :D Tasted kind of spicy but appetizing one.

Wok Fried Chicken with Salted Egg Yolk 黄金霸凤凰

Crispy skin and the texture of the chicken was fine.

Bailing Mushroom with Garden Green 园林绿化白灵菇

Gravy homogenized with the mushroom well.

Dessert 餐后甜点

Chocolate Brownies, Cream Brulee, Rasberry Chilled Cheese 巧克力布朗尼,奶油布丁,树莓冻芝士

Coffee on the Table

Went to Coffee on the Table just few days ago. It was an impromptu coffee hunting day since my sis was craving for coffee. And this cafe just *ting* on my mind. lol.

Fyi, Coffee on the Table was original crew from Cafe55 and they are famous for their 3D coffee art. Wanted to try out their coffee for long time but never had a chance. So finally here I came with a passionate coffee hunter/coffee lover (my sis). Well honestly, I'm just a coffee art lover, never a coffee lover. mehh. haha!

Before I delete all these cute pictures from my phone. So cuteee okay! Too cute to be drinked up :3

Okay, so my sis and I were chatting about coffee all day. Finally my doubt was clarified cuz I never know how to differentiate the taste of latte, mocha and cappuccino :x To be more simplified, here goes,

Latte: coffee with more milk

Mocha: coffee with chocolate

Cappuccino: espresso and milk

Ok, I'd better go back to my favorite matcha latte. Not so complicated. lol

Holla all!! It's been a while since I blogged about cafe. I'm just pure lazy :D hehe

I went to this cafe during one of the weekdays and thought it would be probably less people. But, it turned out I was wrong. Very wrong. So, I guess the food is overall good explains the crowd. I just tried out their brunch set.

Portion is big, I shared it with my friend. However, there's still room for improvement for their service.
