The movie making industry may be facing huge changes in the months to come. As Covid-19 continues to discourage large gatherings, cinemas have suffered immense losses, as studios experience unprecedented success on PVOD platforms. This has lead them to consider same-day release when theatres re-open.

AMC has since declared that they will not show Universal Pictures films, a declaration that was supported by Regal Cinema.
