most of these seems to be real and explainable. It's because we can not do it or we do not understand. That does not mean that it does not exist. It is just we do not have the capability to do or understand it.

First IC/Circuit in the world invented in Sri Lanka for Vesak.

This technique is used to light up the bubs in a huge board and this has being used over many years.

The amazing fact is the blades on these drums are being arranged in the way that that the patter is required.
Also previously these drums used to be rolled manually and now they have connect a motor to roll the drums.

As you can see these drums are being some times adjusted when drum is running. Normally these displays are very huge and active for a long time.

Hope you will enjoy this.

Mysterious megalithic structures of Karahunj and Metsamor

2012-05-15T05:22:00.004-07:00

ANCIENT MEGALITHIC STRUCTURES - Karahunj in present-day Armenia is similar to Stonehenge - a huge circle of ancient megaliths - ant it is thousands of years older. Holes in the Karahunj megaliths seem to point to the constellation Signus, which in many ancient cultures was the point of entry to the “sky world”.

Petroglyphs at the site, which are thought to be much older than the megalith circle itself, seem to depict aliens or humanoid figures. It has been suggested that Karhunj was some kind of travel hub or marker made for or by aliens that once lived and worked on Earth.

This would then be connected with the beliefs of the ancient Sumerians, who stated that their gods came from the skies, created man and at some point in time left Earth. Could they have described what actually happened at sites like Karahunj, even millennia earlier? These gods could have used the site.

Now if Karahunj was an ancient intergalactic travel hub or navigation centre, then what was Metsamor? It is another ancient site, not too far from Karhunj, located in the Ararat valley. It is a large site, with a 10 hectares citadel and surrounding settlements. Excavations at Metsamor started in the 1960s but are still ongoing. Based on the findings so far, it seems that the site was inhabited from the 7th millennium BC up to the late middle ages. Some 50,000 people lived there at the same time. It had some astronomical functions and an early form of writing has been found at the site.

However its main function seems to have been metallurgy. Protected by strong walls, there were smelting houses with furnaces, giving evidence of extraordinary knowledge of metal work. Many different metals were processed, including gold, copper, iron and mercury.

We could imagine that the travelling gods as described by the Sumerians would need a service station or production plant, providing them with materials to fix or power their spacecraft or stargates. Could Metsamor have been such a service station? How else could it develop such a sophisticated metal industry so early in time, and why?

Google Glasses

The Google glasses has being developed at the Google X lab, the top-secret facility where the world’s top engineers let their imaginations let flow out on ideas like the driverless car and the space elevator.

Although still an early prototype, the Google glasses have already been sighted on the face of founder, Sergey Brin, and with the might of the technology giant behind them some commentators believe they could be in the shops within a year.

A 3D printer

2012-04-15T23:30:00.001-07:00

A more generalized consumer certainly could use a 3D printer like the Replicator, or 3D Systems' more affordable Cube. You could make holiday ornaments for your entire office. You could print out 100 toothpicks topped with a tiny bust of your spouse for a birthday party. If your child loses a key Lego piece, just print out a new one.

One barrier to wider adoption might be price. The fully-featured Replicator, the model with dual extruders for printing two-color objects, costs $2,000. The monocolor Cube costs $1,300. Spools of ABS plastic, the printers' chief consumable, go for $50. Those figures aren't entirely out of reach, but they do put 3D printing out of Wal-mart.

New 2012-2013 SRT Viper

2012-04-15T23:20:00.002-07:00

Petrolheads among us will know that Chrysler’s high performance SRT brand has unveiled recently the much anticipated all-new Viper supercar at the 2012 New York Motor Show last week. Powered by an 8.4-litre V10 producing 640hp and 600lb ft of torque, the SRT Viper is not only an American legend reborn but it also sports new tech toys previously not seen the in muscle car.

New toys include launch control, two-stage adjustable damping and four-stage ESP. SRT has even gone so far as to specify different rubber compounds for the enormous front and rear tyres.

Formula One style double wishbone suspension all-round and high performance Brembo brakes suggest a promising driving experience. But make no mistake, this car was and always will be dominated by that honking great engine. Even the shift light takes the form of a snake.

Because Chrysler is now part of the Fiat group which also owns luxury supercar brands Ferrari and Maserrati, the quality of the new SRT Viper’s interior has been given a major boost, an example of this is the stitching work done to its leather cabin.

Unfortunately SRT have not yet releasedofficial performance figures, pricing details and whether we’d ever heard the car go on sale in the UK.

FACTS ABOUT FORKS

2012-04-15T23:03:00.001-07:00

Kitchen forks have been endlessly evolving for the past millennium or so. But a historical background check will put its origins somewhere in Greek. Initially used for the carving of meat, the fork comes to the dining table pretty late. It was around the 7th century that royal courts in the Middle Eastern Muslim world started to use the fork on the dining table. In another century, they were passed on to the Byzantine world, where the use of forks at the dining table became symbolic in wealthy and noble families. The fork was later carried on to Italy through a matrimonial alliance with the Byzantine. After a long dormant period, the flow continued into Francem when Catherine de Medicis married Henry II. The Fork came to the English notice by a man called Thomas Coryate, who brought forks to England in 1608. It took a very long time for the English to take up the fork as it initially met cultural resistance.

WHY IS UNIVERS DARK

2012-04-15T22:45:00.002-07:00

Olbers' paradox, a part of astrophysics and physical cosmology, is basically a squabble about the sky being dark at night. This paradox is also phrased as the 'dark night sky paradox'. The paradox states that an inert, considerably old universe with an equal number of stars scattered in the proportionately large space should be bright rather than being dark at night.

The question of sky being dark at night might seem ridiculous with a much obvious answer, and the topical answer might surprise you. This question has been studied by the best physicists who have reached an answer that is simple but not so obvious. In order to find an answer to the Olbers' paradox, the scientists and physicists had to struggle a lot to learn about the behavior of energy involved in the concept.

One argument given by the scientists against the dark night paradox is that the light of distant stars might be hidden by the dust clouds. But this answer is again contradicted by the statement that these dust clouds should reach the temperature of the stars by their heat. Another statement contradicting the Olber's paradox is that these distant stars might be too tiny and far that they can be seen in the vicinity. Besides, there might be numerous stars at increasing distances such that their smaller perceptible size is formed of by their bigger numbers.

Another theory is of the time and age of the universe. Universe is 13.73 billion years old which states that light of the starts had certain time to light up the universe. Most of the starts we see today, in our night sky, do not exist anymore. We can see their light because it takes ages for their light to travel around the universe. So we could say that stars in the universe had certain amount of time to contribute to the illumination of the whole universe.

as much as we searched this subject, it still remains a paradox.
