We have already covered the screenshots of Windows 7 and now let us look into the features Windows 7 has to offer. Lets analyze the features and improvements in different sections. Are you bored with the small text that are on the start button? In fact you can change them if desired, and is also very easy.

Windows XP has a feature called Windows File Protection. This facility prevents the user change the system files necessary. The file we will edit is Explorer.exe, this file is protected by Windows File Protection.

We will do is make Explorer.exe is no longer a part of the Windows File Protection. Once that happens, then we can edit Explorer.exe suit.

In the brain especial we will use a program called Resource Hacker. This tool is a kind of hex editor program that can be used to change the text, bitmaps and so on in the program files. In this opportunity, we will try to replace any posts "START" button at the start of any posts other suit you.

There are 2 ways to do so. First, remove the protection from the file explorer. Second, mendisable Windows File Protection so that the file does not need to edit replaced by Windows.

Disable Windows File Protection
Click the Start button -> Run -> type "% systemroot% \ system32 \ Restore" (without quotation marks). So akan Restore window is displayed that contains the file filelist.xml. However, if the window does not appear to Restore filelist.xml, under way this can bring:

1. In earlier Restore window> click Tools> Folder Options> View tab scroll down and find the check box "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)"> uncheck checkbox.
2. In the "Show hidden files and folders"> click "Show hidden files and folders"
3. Finally, uncheck the check mark on "Hide extensions for unknown file types." Click Ok

In Restore window now appears filelist.xml. Filelist.xml right click> properties. Uncheck the checkbox "Read Only"> OK.

Well, now we can edit the filelist.xml. Back filelist.xml right click> Open With> Notepad. Filelist.xml file will open in notepad. From here look if Windows File Protection will need to mem-protect a file or not.

Note the following lines:

% windir% \ system.ini

% Systemroot% \ explorer.exe

Now, click File> Save. (not Save as)

Click Start> Run> type "% systemroot% \ system32 \ dllcache" (without quotation marks). In dllcache window, locate and delete the Explorer.exe file.

Launch Resource Hacker
Now we can edit the Explorer.exe. Run Resource Hacker. This tool does not need to install, you just need to run with 2X click on the file ResHacker.exe.

In ResHacker window, click File-> Open and open Explorer.exe. Place is located in the C: \ windows \ explorer.exe. Once you open it will look like the picture below.

Next is to change the text "Start" button at the start:

1. String Table> 37> 1033
2. In the right window, see the text "start". You can replace it with anything that any posts you want, for example, "komputek". After that, press the Compile Script which is located on the top.
