IntiFest, Annual Festival Organized by INTI College

Last few days i went to A festival that organized by INTI College Sarawak, the Festival is located at the College. Since my house is near to the INTI, so..i just went there to cuci mata....

It was 11.00 am and the weather was very hot..., i could see cars parking outside of the college, coz car park is full occupied. So whats going on INTIfest? just like the Kuching Festival...they have foods, drinks, performances, games, free drink, and blood donation. What make them special is that all participants or stall are opened by the student or the staff of INTI college.

They set up quite a lot of stall with different type of food from different country, since INTI College has many international students from china, indonesia, nigeria, korea, thailand, myanmar, and ect...

The purpose of the INTI fest is mainly for Charity. 20% of the profits of all stall will be donated to charity association, particularly i dont know which one.

On that day i was quite interested to have a look a game that jointly organized by INTI and Redbull (drink). The game was to throw an age wrapped with newspaper, from first level in college building, its about 15 meter height. The winners are those egg that dont break at all after they threw it down. And There was only 1 person who won the game, he somehow wrapped the egg with a straw, then cover with the newspaper...brilliant idea...

btw...i did took some pictures during my jalan2-jalan...

^ Food Stall from China, they are selling something that cooked in butter, like butter prawn, but its not prawn....dint get chance to take closer pic.

E-Mart at Matang

i really dunno what to give for the title....
i went to E-mart yesterday, this is my second visits since they opened, nothing much changed since my first visit even though its been 1 month, still got some unoccupied block and shop. The present emart in kuching has added them the list of competition in retail market, such as...Ta Kiong, Boulevard, Everise, Giant and so on.

Sometimes its interesting to see how those retail market try to get buyer or consumer attention, one way for sure, buy a news paper every saturday and sunday, you will see their advertisement on particular page, look carefully and compare. Its interesting somehow....
Emart as new competitor, has done quite well in market, seeing from what they have advertised previously. 1 thing that maybe make kuching people living in kuching town area, is the cheap and vely cheap price that they offer on weekend, say.....The yeos soyabean....1lt, sold at Rm.0.99 only....normal price is 2.00 something....but you can only get it in happy hour, 10-11am it was last saturday. Thats really really cheap...you will never got such price unless people are selling below cost.

So....all i could say is....emart tried very hard to get kuching people attention, new competitor has to do extra to win market.

Nasi Goreng at Jalan Song

yea...few days ago went to jalan song, open air to go for supper, nothing much special you eat in jalan song, if u go there times already. We took a sit in middle, while kept looking around and thinking what to eat. My eye pointed to some chinese word that blinking in a piece of board.
since i dont really read chinese, so i dont know that those words means, probably its the food name

I decided to try what they have in their food stand, they have friedrice, friedkwetiau, friedwantan, wantan soup, handmade meatball soup, and ect.
Then i ordered the Nasigoreng, A.K.A, friedrice. Wait and Tunggu for minutes Nasigoreng Served on my table . like that....<<<<<

Took First Bite....WOW!!!!......This Nasi goreng is so special in taste....my god...long time adi dint taste nasi goreng like this.....i dont know how to describe the taste, but i do know 1 thing, taste never lies.

From the seller speaking tone, i identified that shes from china, no wonder if china is known as king of asian Food. This Fried Rice is worth to try.

Location : Jalan Song Open air, Next to pizzaHUT. The stall is the 1st stall you see on your right hand side, if u enter from the pizzaHUT.

Electrical Shock Protector

Its more like a plastic cover, nothing looks special from this product, very compact. ESP (electric Shock Protector) is designed to the standard size of the switch socket.

nothing much to talk about this device, if you have some switch socket installed somewhere that reachable by your children, its better to have it protected. Coz they dont really know what they are going to touch can just simply make them like this.....

Sometime you dont even realize that your hand is wet when you are going to on the light, thats when this thing come to protect whats worse thing from happening.

Fiery Crunch, KFC New Flavor

Fiery Crunch NEW!! Surprisingly Spicy!!....
Thats short sentence you will see if you visit any KFC in kuching now. Yea...new flavor, new ingredient, thats what they said, but..doesn't taste new for me. They said its hotter than spicy flavor.....na......for me its the same.

The difference i can see from the chicken is, when you look closely before you eat, there are spread grounded leaves on the chicken, i suppose thats the new ingredient that make it a little different from the look. That ingredient looks like curry leaves or something.

well...i think this flavor is only available in malaysia only or maybe in sarawak only, im not sure, i need someone from outside sarawak to confirm. Eniwei... how about the Spicy chiken? One of the KFC staff said, temporarily is taken place by the Fiery Crunch for 2 months, which means after two month Fiery crunch will replaced by the Spicy chicken.

How about if the consumers like the Fiery more than the Spicy? are they still going to replace it after Two months testing period?

Well.....We'll see.

Artificial Fruit.

Ngaiti.....carefull wa....wif this thing, just make sure, keep it away from children , they might think its something for them to lick and eat. Its too real to tell its fake, they made it 100% looks real, just they dont taste for real. weight, shape, colour are lying, but you woulndt know untill you look closer and hand it.

Despite the all those things, this AF(artificial fruit) is suitable for decorating your kitchen, restaurant or wherever you feel it nice, the price is ok la....some of them selling at Rm. 1.50 and Rm.2.00, cheap decoration accessories.

they have a lot of type of fruit and vege, if i can recall, there are bananas, chilli, apples, strawberry, chinese orange, and ect.

worth it? i think so, you can keep it from quiet long, in term of decoration, real fruit spoiled when you put it out of fridge about 1 week, but these Af dont. Just make sure that you dont eat it..

Egg Boiler

first time i saw this thing i thought it was a tissue box..i took a closer look at it, i noticed i small hole at the butt of the box...
What the hell this thing is....i opened the top cover of the box, there is a holder shaped oval inside, then i knew that its not a tissue box , out of my thought, t is an Egg Boiler....nieeewww......

i knew its egg boiler from the staff working there, ask them about that, at first they also dont know whats that. Then they ask the other staff and let me know.

its quite a special thing o.....i've never seen this thing before....maybe im outdated already.
aniwei...talking about price. Its about Rm.11.90, worth it or not?

if u think its annoying when cooking egg, put the egg in saucepan, boil it 2gether wif water for certain of minutes, n when u turn off ur gas stove, n find out ur egg not really cooked as u want.
then maybe it this egg boiler is worth to try.

what you do is just boil the water untill its boiled, the pour it in the egg boiler wif the egg inside. thats it. When the water inside the egg boiler finishes, then your egg is ready.
