I know, I know.. I start every post complaining about how much of a lazy blogguer I am. And here I am again promising to myself that from today I'll start blogging weekly. There's this massive pile of pictures I want to upload here that keeps making my procrastination speak louder and uploading less. And the pile gets bigger, hooray for that snowball effect.

So moving on to more interesting stuff.. I went to Paris!

It was really coooooool. I've been there on 2009, so I skipped some iconic monuments I've already seen before to see some new and exciting places. Take a sit and enjoy my tour :)

Very uncommon place to start, right? A cemitery. Boo! One of the most famous in the world and certainly the most beautiful I have ever seen. Not that I'm very fan of the grieving thing. But I met some cool dudes or the remains they left on this earth.. such as: Edith Piaf, Oscar Wilde, Chopin, Moliére, Allan Kardec, James Morrison, La Fontaine and many more.

Fun fact: I was sticking my gum on Jim Morrison's memorial tree because aparentely that's what rebel people do in his honor. I felt like catching some diseases too. Kissing Wilde's grave was a bit to hardcore for me though..

That's the inscription on Allan Kardec's tomb saying: "To be born, die, again be reborn, and so progress unceasingly, such is the law". I have a lot of respect for Kardec's Spiritism ideologies, some of them make so much more sense to me than christianity.

Back to the hotel and this was the view from our window.

I visited Montmartre for the very first time and falled in love with it.

The mary-go-round is beautiful, Moulin Rouge was kind of disappointing although I didn't get to enter. I insisted I wanted to visit Les Doux Moulins coffee shop from the Amélie's movie and the garçon felt the need to kindly express his aproval of my appearance. I had a quite a sucess between the males, do they have bad taste? Are portuguese men too picky? Or maybe is the parisienne atmosphere. Haha I don't know but my ego enjoyed it very much. Plus, I was gifted with a beautiful sanguine portrait (much much prettier than myself actually) portrait by an artist called Samuel something-something (can't figure his last name). It was much trickier than I thought to pose for 20 minutes straight without being allowed to look to other places. Very worthy nonetheless.

Other cute place was the Marché aux Puces which means Flea Market. Too bad they ask for astronomic amounts of money for almost every god-damn-thing (meaning I'm not rich). But still was a good place to take a walk and see curious things.

I went to the Comparative Anatomy Exposition on Jardin des Plantes Because the crazy vet/scientist/whatnot in me absolutely HAD to. And it was absolutely mind blowing, I took nearly 100 photos there and didn't took more because I needed my camera's memory for more than skeletons only. I think I could've spent days in there admiring the beautifuly dissected specimens. oh boy *boner*

Too bad I didn't had time to visit the zoo there. One of the first ones open to public in the world.. maybe next time.. maybe next time..

I visited the Magic and Ilusionism Museum but photographs were not allowed. Only worthy if visiting with kids, not much of a big deal.

Also went to Tim Burton's exposition at the Cinematheque Française. Waited almost 2h to get inside, worth it!!! I'm a fan girl so.. Pictures were not allowed (again) but.. ups.. (i hope i don't get sued..).

My mum decided to be all sweet to me and took me to dinner on one of the most fancy places in the whole Paris. Can you believe it? Neither could I. Le Train Bleu, a place where the royal family used to eat when they arrived from their trips by train. It was stunning and felt like eating on a great hall at a palace or something. The staff was super nice, the food was amazing and I was so full. The champagne was named Louise, I couldn't miss that could I? ;P

Despite I'm don't have a sweet tooth I can't deny they have amazing pastry. I had the very first macarron of my life, got disappointed and had another.

Well I still have a few more collages to make like my amazing shopping there! Brought home quite a few gems. And of course, to update my current situation that is quite caotic. I'm not even exagerating, I moved out and my birthday and other stuff.. If only I had more feedback over here maybe I'd feel more inclined to post frequently.

My life has been crazy happy lately! :) Exams finally calm down for a moment, though I still have 2 to go.

I took a few days off to restore mental sanity, turns out I barely rest. While most people were celebrating Carnaval, I hung out with my friends and had an amazing time. Didn't wear a crazy costume but oh well, maybe next year.. ;P

Friday night, I met Sara and André on an Arabic pub real close to my home. I did have an exam that day, so I was up since 6am, not quite sure if that justifies my shit-face.

At some point, the bar's owner approached us and we get to meet one of his snakes. She was the cutest most cuddling reptile I've ever met.

I want one in a near future and for my amazement, my mum thinks it's a cool idea! So maybe I don't get to wait till I have my own place *.* Oh dreams.. y u no realize faster?

Next day I had a sushi dinner with Rebeca and Bibs. The food was pretty good but the waiters were not that nice. So do I have the prettiest friends or do i have the prettiest friends?
Also they get a ride on my chevy which was nicknamed Lucifer by Bibs. We're Lucifer Angels. haha

And finally on Saturday was Ana's birthday party!

I'm such an awful blogger, what a shame. I'm gonna try to upload here once a week from now on.
I like to keep my memories and the tiny special bits that I want to remember forever, so..
My mum gave me a new cellphone, since my old one was quite terrible to deal with. Even when I don't have my camera with me, now I have my phone, muahaha pictures with crappy quality!

I honestly have never eaten so much kit kat in my life, than this last few months.

I've been having some quite exausting days, I wish I could count the days for my sickness to end. I gained some pounds this holidays and I'm very proud of that. I really have to look out for my health.. specially, with the finals coming.

I received a new cellphone on xmas! I have to upload some photos from there also. So much to do, so little time. I should split into 3 different persons to get all my tasks done, and maybe it wouldn't be enough.

I guess that's it for now, I'm going to jump into my bed. Night night *

I'm sorry for being such a missing soul. I didn't feel like updating things and blogguing is only fun when you feel like it, not as an obligation.
A lot of things changed in my life, I don't know if for the better. But let's hope so..

First things, first. One afternoon, Andreia and Nuno picked me up and we headed to the ring to ride some horses and after ride a carriage. It was a lot of fun, the horses were beautiful and the autumn weather was perfect.

In September, I signed in for some dance classes. It's so good to be active again!

My cousin Miguel got a Super Mario tattoo and I documented it, step by step.
I had never seen a tattoo being made so.. :] It was fun.
The tattoo artist was Cavellucci.

I headed north with my family, to Mangualde, for a beautiful Magusto and to visit the fair for the weekend. It was fun and I ate A LOT. My cousins have the most amazing garden with flowers during every year, despite the very cold weather. Cookie loves to run around the house and play with us outside. My cousins are such a cute old couple. Pictureeee spaaaaaam:

This past summer i fell down in a spiral of unfortunate events. There was no major factor in my life left untouched, whether was love, family, health, work or friendship.. And things kept falling out of place one after another. I felt like a malabarist trying to handle way to many things and putting myself together at the same time.

I'm not even going to detail anything.. it's past.

Pintas ran away, was missing for two long days, got bitten and got hit by a car. Fortunately, end up in the kennel, we found her. We scouted the place so much.. i don't even want to remember. We picked her up and took her to the hospital, there was no major injuries, despite the massive amount of staples, stiches and black (really black) bruises she had. Everything healed.. she looks like nothing happened.

Now with 12 years old, a bit deaf and a tiny bit blind, got lost really far from home. Everyone kept saying "you know you're probably not gonna find her", "she ain't gonna survive". Well, I never gave up and fuck yeah I had the most amazing luck finding her, we did it.

This is Locki, the veil tail betta splender, my mum gave me. It's my new roommate, very curious and with a voracious appetite.

I also got this cactus and underneath there's a really old edition of pride and prejudice i borrowed from my grandpa. It has that lovely smell of old books.. When my family gifted me with the cactus, granpa said: "Com homens e cactos não se têm cuidados" (With men and cactus you don't need to care, or something similar).

I found this baby gecko on the stairs inside my house, it was hard to grab him because he was so tickling and I coulnd't stop laughing. I put him outside on the flower's porch, where the other geckos usually are.

Oh and this is Noddy, my freshmen colleague hamster, she asked me to babysit him over the holidays. His very much alike to Alejandra, but a bit smaller and very shy. It's funny to watch how similar animals can have such a different caracter and habits. He is now home again. :) The photo is bad but this lil' guy deserved to be mentioned.

Gifts my mum and sister brought me from Paris.

Sadly, I lost a lot of weight and had real insomnia for the very first time in my life. My doctor decided to change my medication once again (4th time this year). I try so hard to eat more at every meal.. :\

I was going to have 3 exams, on early September, 2 of them I'm aproved. The last one is next thursday, let's see what happens and if I pass I oficially complete my graduation.

Also, I started to work as an intern in a vet clinic, the place is tiny but the vet i get to work with is such an amazing person, the costumers are also very friendly. Plus, is so nearby the beach you can smell the salt air.

My family and friends have been a huge support to me lately, Sara's patience, Cookie's spooning in the morning, my sister's companionship, Pintas cuddling, my granpa's eating the nuts on top of the banana slip so I can eat the rest, I really can't complain.

Oh and I almost forgot something really important, my dad is buying me a CAR! I'm going to have a friggin' car! I was so hysterical about it.. I haven't got it yet because I really want to consider every detail when I choose the one. hehe

It's gettins late, I'll be diving between the sheets as fast as you can say "pussy wagon". LOL *

I'll definately need to update or I'll lose the track of the amount of stuff I wanted to post. This particular post will be about my alucinated last week..

Well, I had and exam on monday, another one on wednesday. My brain was melting, almost slipping out of my nose, very annoying shiet.
On thursday, my cousin picked me up to see Skrillex and it was gloriously eargasmic as I expected.
Here's the small films i did all gathered (excuse the crappy images and my filming skills):

At the exit, I met Anaísa (Aeterna Suicide), who I haven't seen in 5/6 years and she keeps lookin' gooood.

I passed out in bed near 5:30 am, 4h later my grandpa was awaking me to get help him at his house. That afternoon I went to the Medieval Market in Óbidos. It was quite amusing, watched a falconry show (the birds really loved his trainer), drank their tipical beverage (ginja on chocolate cup) and bought myself a huge horn cup as a souvenir. Pics turned out not-so-great.

That night, I finally managed to get some real sleep because that week I slept like 4/5h maximum per day, that's a record for my slothy being. On that weekend, we had a picnic at friend's old mill in Mafra. The view was unbelievable, too bad it was so windy. I took a lot of pictures, explored another neiboring abandoned windmills, collected fossils and have some rest at the sun.

Howdy cowboys! I look like shit. Really, a total wreck, I'm tired of studying and the worst battle has just begun.
Everything was going smooth until last week when the world decided to fall apart, not a bit here nor there but everywhere! Well, but I'm not even going to complain about it because it could be a lot worse..

Summarizing, exams did not wen't very well, so I was expecting to fail.. but in the third act twist I passed with good grades after all. The most difficult ones started today, I did one at 8a.m.
I'm probably not going to Poland but I'll be travelling to Paris for a week in September.
On the 2nd, was my mum's birthday, so there was a fast and furious shopping galore for a good birthday gift.
And a hole lot of bullshit that doesn't even fit in here and that I have to mentalise myself that it's my life and it only bothers if I alllow it to.

Fortunately, I have the best friends who always support me at these idiotic crises of mine. Sara picked me up and we went to an amazing ice cream store. She ordered lemon and.. strawberry I think, I went for coffee and banana with chocolate, it was uber yummy!

Last night, Rebeca came along to chat. She's amazing and has so much patience. I love her to bits.
And, last but not least, my lil'sista, which sometimes can be a pain in the ass, brought me pizza to dinner.

So I have to through myself furiously to farmacology. I just haven't decided if I shall take a nap now or later in the afternoon. Well, well let's see..

So much is going on that I have to do a quick update!
Last week was granpa's 87th birthday, we were all very happy for him and gave him a bunch of new clothes.
He insisted that he didn't want any party or dinner of any kind.. so in respect to that and due to all the final exams me and my sister are going through, my mother just bought him a beautiful cake to sing him happy birthday. The cake name was Dark Forest, how cool is that?

I've been studying very hardcore-ish. My brain is very tired already, I can't remember names on random situations, so I'm calling everything "thing". Yesterday I put an empty bowl on the fridge, god knows for what purpuse.. and the list could go on with the lunatic-like strange behaviors of mine.
My doctor also decided to change my medication (again!) to something that would make me less sleepy and more active, although this one ain't gonna get me any heavier.
In the mean time, I went shopping (once more). I finally found some cute stuff for me.. bow pattern high wasted shorts, black suede flats, faux fur keychain (morigirl inspired) and i also bought a beige paper bag shorts.

I finished the first season of Misfits, quite interesting serie. And I'm planning a trip to Wroclaw, Poland in August! I'm so so sooooooooo excited. I have an awsome to-do's list planned for my summer vacations.
So I don't have spare time for pretty much nothing these days.. but that feels good in a way.

There's not much to say.. i've been spending my days studying.

Just took some random photos to try out my new RC-1 controle remote for my baby canon.

I'm in love with that nude peachy nail polish. I can't get sick of it.. my hair is pretty long also, i missed it so much.

The weather has been pretty amazing and it's a terribly pain in the ass, I can't enjoy it not even for a tiny bit. I love spring! When it's neither way too hot but it's sunny enough to go outside.

Last friday, I spared a few minutes to go shopping, since the sales just began. I only went to H&M, because my mum's bf gave me a massive gift card from there for my birthday. ♥

I only bought a white khol eyeliner, a set of rings (which is ridiculous, because i always forget to wear rings) and a confort sweater.

I was kinda of disappointed with what they had in store. When I don't have money there are a zillion of beautifull pieces I'd give my leg to have, now that I actually have some cash, they have nothing good to me.... meh.

I also learned how to make gifs. You'd be surprise with the amount of useless stuff I learn during finals, instead of just sticking with the tons of stuff I actually NEED to learn. But one has to have a way to keep mentaly sane..

I also filmed Alejandra's having a sand bath outside. I'll try to edit that and post it. Because she looks ever so lovely.

Now I shall leave you to learn how to be a motherfucker diagnoser master like a vet house female version or so you get the picture!

Ahoy, fellow mates! I foresee tempestuous times on this beach..
The finals are arriving at a galloping speed. But fear not, my friends, it ain't the first time we battle and so far we've never lost a war!

Now some more accurate thoughts about the present..
I've been self-tapping myself on the back to, at such young age, being capable to cut every root of bitterness out of my life. It doesn't make me happy? Kick it out.
It looks so simple said that way, but we both know it's not simple at all. To be able to admit that something or someone makes you more bad than good. (because not everything is just good or just bad, there's always both sides)

Also I've been a bit lovey-dovey lately which to those who know me, it's a bit of a surprise and so it is to myself! There's a motive for that but it's a secret. I feel like if I let it out it will absorb dreadful luck. So shhh-it Luísa!

Above everything that's happening around, I have to focus on what's really important for me. In the mean time, I'll get some amazing shots of peace and quiteness straight to my tiny cardiac muscle.

So here I am. Sitting in the front of the computer with a halfmade ppt presentation about animals poisoned with toads venom, to finish.
It's quite funny because I never planned this as my future but it couldn't possibly ever turned out so perfect.
My eccentrical mood swings have left me completely exausted but in the end of the day, I can put my mind at ease.

So here I am enjoying my first alchoolic drink with nothing but myself. I always drink socially, so this is new to me. And this strange yet confortable feeling makes me suggest a toast to myself, my aging.
Even though a month later... Happy Birthday to myself! I am actually happy I was born 21 years ago. And what a ride has been.. !

I've been neglecting my blog for a while, not on purpose though.. so much has happened this last few weeks. I didn't stop to clear the thoughts in my head.

Well, first things first... on the 27^th it was my 21^st birthday!
It was kinda of a meaningless day. I didn't have to go to college and everyone else was working. In the evening there were cake and candles with some of my dearest family. So that cheered my mood a lot!
On friday, we had a college colleagues birthday dinner. There were 2 birthday girls (one was me, of course) and a birthday boy. It was pretty sweet to gather everyone and have a good time. Too bad it was raining cats and dogs.

When I arrived home the next morning, my house had a major flood, due to the rain. It was a bit terrifying I must confess. I never seen my house threaded before and excuse me, but that was some fucking scary shit.
Fortunately, everyone worked so hard to put everything back in place as fast as they could, ‘cause I was giving a party the very next day to my closest friends.

Despite of this scenario looking already bad as fuck. I’ll have to add that at the same time I was agonizing with my wisdom teeth growing. The pain was so much I had to take more than 3 painkillers, my face was swollen and I couldn’t eat anything solid. Even trying to eat cooked rice it was like taking bullets in my face. Sweet.
PLUS, something ruined my modem, I believe it was the thunderstorm on the previous night. So no internet for me. For a WEEK. It was really bad because with all the pain I was having, I wanted to distracted myself and couldn’t, hooray.

With all this crap around me, you can imagine it was not the happiest birthday celebration. My friends that came by were really sweet to me. And I can say that my 21^st was very flowery, I never received so many flowers in my life!
My grandpa gave a beautiful purple orchid, which is one of my favorite flowers. My mum also bought me a pretty bouquet with small bordeaux flowers. Yellow tulips from my godmother and from my friend Ana Sofia a really beautiful white, lilac and purple bouquet.

This is Ana, she has the same first and last name as me. We are both short and dark-haired, so people tend to confuse us. She has been a huge support to me. <3 Oh and Francisco is in the back!

So here I am updating my blog. I'm not dead, apparently.
I didn't have much time for myself this last few weeks.. sorry.
Last weekend, me and the girls went to Évora for a seminar about intern medicine. I'll post pictures when I feel like it.
With 18h/week of veterinary anesthesiology I was arriving home and passing away quite easily.
Meanwhile, I detected a nodule on Alejandra's thorax that left me quite worried. Headed immediately to the vet (how ironic) and it was and abscess that had to be punctured. She behaved like a brave lady, have been taking her antibiotic every night. After all, it was nothing serious and I am a relieved mama owl.

I haven't been feeling too well.. due to a series of unfortunate events. I hope my luck changes soon!

I'm on my spring break/easter vacations, traveling for Algarve tomorrow with my family. Hopefully, I'll get a good mind rest, charge my batteries, eat good food to increase my weight a bit more and of course, take pictures. :)

Also, my birthday is only two weeks away. I haven't thought about it. Just published my wishlist for the fun of it.

If there is something I learned this year is that in those moments when you feel sad and falling apart, you have to stop, analyze what is making you feel that way and really ask yourself if it's worth to keep it in your life.

Be honest with yourself. If you know exactly if that person/thing/situation aren't making you any happy, why keep it? Step politely aside.

Do never feed from something that consumes you at the same time. Love yourself enough to know it's enough and move on.

I've been away for a while and I'm not quite sure what to say..

The week after my last exam was spent in total hibernation, to recharge my brain batteries. Dolce fare niente.
I saw the 1st season of Dexter and liked it. I'm almost finishing the 2nd one now..
So the weekend before my 2nd semester of classes started I made myself get out of the house. On saturday, I went to street protest (as I showed the last post) and on sunday, I went to the paddock with Rebeca to meet Andreia, who usually hangs there.
We helped them to gave the antiparasitant to the poneys and the foals which were quite wild.. and since we were there.. We also rode a bit a really sweet horse they have there.

So I received this call out of nowhere and it was Navz:
"Where are you?" he said.
"I'm at home, why?"
"Came outside!"
I grabbed my coat and there he was with puppy Sam! And that totally made my day.
Sam recognized me and he is so grown up now. Still a kid inside, but huge outside. Aw..
He walked all the way from his house to mine, at 9pm. It was cold as hell but we took a walk at the park near my house.

I have an exam on Friday, but I'm so not into studying right now.. It's being so hard to stay focus with this lovely sunny weather outside. And not doing my work efficiently leaves me very frustrated.. :\

Hi there! For my happy amazement I've been passing exam after exam. This makes me so so happy, so what would be better than enjoying myself for a few days, right?

I missed my friend Bárbara, really really bad, so we decided to hang out last week and took a few amusing shots. It was really funny but the results were a bit shitty, I definitely need to buy remote control for my camera. I feel like I'm missing so many great shots, bléh.. Here's my favs:

So after this lovely afternoon, I had another exam and then grabbed my bag and my camera on my way with the north wind. :)

This is Micro, the tiny puppy that slept with me for two days. Behaved amazingly well! And then she was adopted..

This is Lotta, the baby seal! She got lost in the sea and was rescued. She's going to be returned to the sea as soon as she stops finding humans so interesting! Look at those whiskers! :D

It was great to see her eat all by herself and gaining weight but her eyes are so hard to heal. Diogo took the picture and borrowed me his surfing wetsuit.

Nick was really curious with her. :)

Today I woke up at 4 a.m. with a huge storm on the other side of the window. Had a really weird exam at 10a.m., had lunch with the girls. Unfortunately, Navz and I thought it was better to cancel our walk with Sam, because it was beyond impossible to step outside without getting all wet and dragged by the wind. I really miss Sam, he probably is so much bigger than the last time I saw him.. he is an awesome puppy and he will be forever a puppy to me, no matter how huge he's gonna get, that sassy lil' bitter. Here he is after the vet appointment with his favorite auntie, at summer time:

Also, yesterday came the suggestion I could visit my dolphin friend for 4 days, I took it! I really need to get out of the house and do something I love. Also, there's a new baby seal at the shelter and I'm so dead to meet her. Pictures soon! :)

Since I didn't hang out with Navz and Sammy, I gave some hamster love to Alejandra. I haven't been giving her a lot of attention lately, so I did a photoshoot with her and she's a diva. She loves the camera so much she kept running towards the lens all the time. I had to give her a treat to keep her entertained. The light is pretty lousy but what would you expect with a day like these.

Now you'll excuse me, I'm going to sneak into the bed and fall asleep while listening the rain outside. Tomorrow will be a long day.. Packin' and leavin'!

It has been raining for days.

It usually helps me to stay more focus on my work,

but not so much lately.

I'm sick of all this study and examinations.

The fluffy manatee phase has passed, now onto the blue whale..

I'm having terrible consumption cravings and my birthday wish-list is humongous and expensive.

Okay, so wednesday will be the last exam of a set of six, which so far I have surprisingly succeeded.
So that's pretty much it.. bye*
