The Malaysia jetliner incident is reminiscent of the shooting down of another civilian plane 31 years ago

On Thursday night, a Malaysia Airlines aircraft was shot down near the Russian border with Ukraine. The incident is reminiscent of the shooting down of another civilian plane 31 years ago—a Korean Airlines jet near Russia’s Kamchatka peninsula. There is more than a passing resemblance between the two incidents. Both planes were brought down on the periphery of Russia at a time of high tension. In both cases, the aircraft either veered off from their flight path or willingly got into harm’s way, although they may not have known this at the time. But more than these errors, utter callousness was in ample display: combatants in a conflict can distinguish between civilian and military aircraft. To say it is hard to do so is no more than an excuse. In the present case, some responsibility lies with the airline too, as it should have taken steps to avoid the dangerous airspace near the Russia-Ukraine border.

Living in the largest democracy in the world, with the elections going across the country EH is obvious to happen. Day in and day out I see all the political parties campaigning. They have left no stone unturned to reach the masses either offline or online.

Yes, voting is really empowering but the truth is less than half eligible voters turn out to get inked. This is because people have lost faith in all the parties. This year many are seeking a change in leadership. With the economy stagnant and corruption everywhere can congress sit on its seat back.

Rome is not built in a day. Corruption is infected like virus in all aspects of our lives. People started doing social services and all of a sudden wanted to participate in politics and say that they will remove the corruption in a day. It is not at all possible. India is the only country where the people are united and divided by religion, caste, language, race and wealth. Business and Politics have become tied together on each other.

It is very difficult to find out whether the politicians do business or the business people are doing politics. It is a big task to separate these two people. Only honest people come to power can do this. The people of India have witnessed the chaos of Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi. Becuase the party did not expected the sudden response of the Delhi Public. The result in Delhi shows that the people of India looking for a change. But, the question is that why they did not give a clear mandate to BJP? The Delhi results cannot be replicated in the coming Loksabha Elections. People of India, have found out and understood that the Aam Aadmi Party does not have any political administrative setup and don't have proper people to represent in all the constituencies of India.

The NGOs and Social Service People should be a Watch Dog and they should not involve in Politics. They can monitor the policies of Government and stop them if there are some flaws in the policies. Their mindsets, Views and actions are different from the common people as well as the general politicians. We are living in Global Economic Era and the people who can take fast decision and speedier implementation are the need of the day. Otherwise, we cannot compete with the global business scenario and we will be dragged to 50 years back. Because, we have already opened our economy and we cannot go back from the present situation.

The BJP has matured as a political party and the minorities of this country should not paint them as a religious party and they should remember that the Great leader Atal Bihari Vajbayee delivered a good Governance for five years. If Mr.Narendra Modi repeatedly elected as CM, the people from rest of India should understand the victory of Democracy in Gujarat. As I have heard that the Muslims in Gujarat have been taken care by Mr.Modi very well. Otherwise, he could not continue his victory in Gujarat. So, the People of India, including the minorities should give a clear mandate to BJP for peace and prosperity in India.
