download and install ngage on ur phone. well nokia is officailly providing the software.
if ur phone model is there in the list u can happily download it. for others check out the forums as to how to carck and use it on urs.

Well u can have all the smileys of yahoo messenger. It also has option of sending files. If u did not like the look u can change it with themes.

i-phone is the cell phone which had the highest hype before its release. And the hype surrounding has not ended even now... months after its release.

Well if u really like it go for it. But please read the following before u buy it......

in some areas it has to be unlocked before u use it
it has no keys. so it looks stylish but it has its own disadvantages.
typing sms takes some time.
here is the biggest drawback - U CANT TRANSFER SONGS, PHOTOS etc VIA BLUETOOTH. It has bluetooth but only to pair with a headset.
no GPS for a phone that costly.
just 2 mega pixel cam. no video(need 3rd party applications to record)
no card slot... not needed ofcourse when u have 8 n 16gb hard disk.
you cannot keep ur oun song as a ringtone
No MMS
no copy / paste

well if u still want to buy iphone... ok.

mobiles and medicos.. a good combination.

in this post i want to give u a list of applications which are highly useful for medicos. some are very useful n some r just for timepass.

1. Medical dictionary:

Medical dictionary is of the most useful mobile application. It is very useful for the undergraduates who have difficulty in understanding difficult medical terms. MSDict oxford medical dictionary is the best option.

well u have MSDict medical dictionary for s60, s60v3 phones. also a separate medical dictionary is also available for java phones.

2. Isilo:

A very good reading software. u can check the official site to get many free ebooks on medicine in .pdb format. some consider this software a must have... i say its useful in emergencies to refer.

U can read books like bailey n love, harrisons etc using this software.

3. Internet:

well u all know about net. well its good to have net activated on ur phone.

4. Adobe pdf or pdf plus:

u may need this software to read pdf files on ur phone. but its difficult to read big books using pdf format. to read small thesis n like its good.

all pdf e books u read in ur pc can be read in ur mobile too.

5. health calculator:

sometimes u need to calculate things like BMI etc. health calc is a good option.

6.Diets:

not much need. just helpful if u want to know the calorie n realted things of food we take. may be useful if r prescribing diets(to diabetics) etc.

there are other softwares like first aid, medicine reminder, dosage etc...... u can try them too if u want.
