The last few months has seen the Dubstep scene explode with new artists and old favourites using the dubstep sounds.
We have seen new tunes from Skrillex and more comercial artists like DJ Fresh with the release of his new tune "HOT RIGHT NOW"

More new and upcoming artists are remixing some of the latest tunes and making in my opinion a better versions of the originals adding some spice and vibe to the original sound some of my personal favourites is coldplay's "Paradise" ( Mostafa Negm Dubstep Remix )

Konan & Krept – Otis Music Video

With the current release of the Jay-Z and Kanye West album Watch the Throne, has come a lot of remix’s 1 of which is from south London grime duo Konan & Krept.

The Video looks like it was shot in the car park of Crystal Palace Park and sees the grime duo go back and forth with lyrics about the scene and what they get up to.

The video was first uploaded to youtube 5 days ago and has already racked up 3.9 million viewers that’s faster than any other homemade grime video.
The release of this remix overshadowed the release of their new single and video coming out called Paranormal Activity Remix Video that will have to compete to catch up to this release.

This mixtape released by JME from Boy Better Know is the second in the tropical saga and comes 5 years after the release of the original Tropical mixtape.

Lord of the Mics 3 is fast approaching and slowly jammer is releasing the HYPE sessions to show case the talent in this year’s battles.

The first video includes a new artist to the Grime scene Merky Ace with a 2 minute freestyle ahead of his clash with Stay Fresh’s J1.

The second Video shows new artist Stay Fresh’s J1 Spitting a few bars before his clash with Merky Ace this is a show down of both styles before the do battle.

Lord of the Mics 3 seems to be heating up and growing bigger as the days go on. Will we see a return from some of the older favourites like Wiley and Kano only time will tell?

Heartless crew have now split but we can still relive the days were they dominated UK garage.

This mixtape was is the first release from heartless member Mighty Moe and features artists such as Wiley.

I was inspired to look for heartless crew material after listening to Mighty Moe Live on DJ EZ friday night garage slot on KISS FM yesterday. That also featured Ranking MC, MC KIE and MC Neat was a banging set from EZ.

This mixtape release is of a classic JME mixtape called “POOM PLEX”

JME is a well known grime artist from London and this is one of his first releases and contained some of his best work and also featured a lot of other grime artists like Wiley, Skepta, Frisco, Jammer, Footsie, Bossman, Tempa t and many more.

The mixtape is made up of 21 tracks and has interludes from Tim Westwood. I was delighted to see this still floating around on the net and am putting it up here for everyone else to download.

This freestyle is another FREE Download from king of grime Wiley and is entitled " Characters "

The beginning of the song starts with Wiley boarding a plane to Barbados and getting stop in the process then follows on by his confrontation with immigration at the airport before being able to board the plane.

Those of you that follow @wileyartist would recognize this scene from his recent tweets before leaving for Barbados.

Unfortunately there is no beat or real point to this free download from Wiley but i guess another way for artists to express their view and show the world how things are for them out here.

Skepta - Dare to Dream

The Boy Better Know member Skepta has caused controversy over claims his latest single “ Dare to Dream “ has been hijacked by interscope boss Jimmy Iovine so that Eminem can us the track for himself.

This was posted today on his twitter account and could lead to him signing to the aftermath or interscope record label in the near future.

The original version of the song was widely available on you tube but with news of Eminem hijacking the track it has been pulled off by Universal records. This could be the start for something big for the English rap scene and the leaders of Grime.

Although this might seem like a kick in the teeth for Skepta he must see it as a blessing in disguise. This finally shows that Grime can make it big in the American markets and finally Skepta will join the big guns in the music industry.

This will be the second major signing that Skepta has attracted from America the first being the single with P Diddy and Dirty Money.

The main talking point about this song is the video released by Skepta Featuring Parisrocksxxx who is a English porn star .
