2013-05-04T05:06:00.001-07:00

Hi there, I have just bought this new accessory for the living room! Check the pictures, it's an enormous jute pillow (90x70), which can be used to sit on. At the website of Kamer26 you can find all kinds of cool stuff!

SPRING!

2013-04-19T03:38:00.001-07:00

Finally, the sun is shining and the temperature rises a bit :) This week I decided to take a walk in the woods (I know it is a bit old fashioned, but it was nice) and found some simple branches. Turns out they bloom beautifully in this bottle of Ikea.

HOME SWEET HOME

2013-04-09T05:48:00.000-07:00

Time for some inspiration? Although this is a website for babies (and I'm not a mom..), you can find some great stuff to decorate your house! I bought the styrofoam letters and made my own wall text:

NIJHOF VERSUS REVOL

2013-04-05T04:34:00.000-07:00

Finally I found them!

About two years ago I saw the stunning coffee cups of Revol in a small shop in Zermatt, Switzerland. Unfortunately I didn't had my wallet with me, so with a terrible feeling I had to leave the cups in the shop. During these two years I've never forget them... And now I found these two green 'Revol-like' cups at Nijhof in Baarn! Check out the great design, love it.

O yeah, it's porcelain ;)

EASTER, MADE BY GRANNY!

2013-03-27T06:19:00.000-07:00

Hi there, I've just received the most amazing gift from my grandma! A few days ago, I sent her a new idea for an 'egg-hooded' (from the lovely blog yvertown and 101woonideeen) by email, since she already started making beanies for the winter. I think she liked the idea, because the next day she already finished the egg-hoodeds and this is the result...!
This is gonna be a great Easter ;)

WEEKEND!

2013-03-22T05:30:00.000-07:00

I'm so fed up with that cold weather here.. According to the calender the spring already should have started, but the sun certainly doesn't feel like shining. So, I started dreaming about the summer and my (not yet certain) trip to South-Africa... Here some lovely pictures based on my dreams + interior.

Are you working from a home office too? This is a simple and easy styling tip ;) Just buy some characters made from cardboard or wood and stick it on the wall! In just a few minutes your workin' space is pimped a little bit!

I bought these ones at Xenos, but you can also buy characters at kartonwinkel or babypark.

HIGHLIGHT THE STAIRS

2013-03-14T08:46:00.000-07:00

Recently I discovered the Freshome's Facebook page and it turns out to be great! They post continuously fantastic inspiration houses. Just now they posted this fabulous Minimalist Warsow Home, which I love! Especially the stairs and the doors of the bedroom are amazing. It certainly gave me some inspiration to highlight the stairs! Check the other pictures for more possibilities..

Art & Nails

2013-03-13T07:33:00.002-07:00

You wanna create art for less than ten euros? That's possible! I've just visited this lovely webshop Mo Man Tai and they have some great stuff. Look at the Masterpieces Pattern Sheet to turn your wall into a piece of art ;) All you need is the sheet, some rope and nails. Besides Masterpieces, you can also decorate the wall with lyrics or words. Just check the website kamer26.nl or spijkerpatroon.nl

CORK ON THE WALL

2013-01-13T07:17:00.001-08:00

Hi there! I've something new, which I really would like to share. I've always wanted something original and special on my wall, which is not too expensive, but I could never find it. Untill now! During the Christmas 'get together' my niece told me she had bought a panel to write and post memo's on. One half was made of cork to pin some interesting carts and posts. This gave me the idea to make my wall of cork! So I started searching the internet for some companies which sell cork walls. Surprisingly no-one in the Netherlands sells these products. However, in Belgium there is one shop that is specialized in Cork and has this great webshop. It was just 50 minutes drive, so we took a look and directly bought it :). See below the result...!

BUTTON HOOKS

2012-11-04T23:51:00.000-08:00

Hi there! I've been away for a while. Sorry for that, but studying, working and vacations take a lot of my time ;). However, I just ran into these fantastic buttons to decorate your house! These are not normal buttons, but they function as hooks. Create a wonderful industrial look with these button hooks. You can buy them in different sizes at www.basiclabel.nl, where you can also find some other cool stuff as well!

LONGING FOR MY TRIP TO NEPAL

2012-06-14T03:44:00.001-07:00

Although, the weather is not that bad today, I still long for my holidays! This summer I will take a trip to Nepal for a few weeks. Besides discovering this beautiful country, we will do some volunteering work at a school as well. I have never been this far, so I am wondering how the country and the people will be. Maybe these pictures will give me some idea...

LIGHT UNDER THE BUTT?

2012-06-11T09:06:00.001-07:00

First of all I thought this was a cool little stool, published in the Elle Decoration of this month. However, than I saw the electric wire, so it was a lamp! Unfortunately the zoom discovered the size of this beautiful lamp, because it turned out to be a table lamp, from Milk.

Maybe an idea to create one myself...

little stool + lamp = light under the butt!
