It is also used in home decoration. It was discovered in year 2007　when US cats and dogs died suddenly, they found that pet food from China contains Melamine. Melamine is use in industrial production so it cannot be eaten! Now it was widely announced to the public that most products from china contains the harmful melamine. Many would not know that melamine has already much victims in china. Melamine was found to be mixed with milk powder sold in markets.
The most important nutrient in milk is protein. And Melamine has the same protein that contains "NITROGEN". Adding Melamine in milk reduces milk content and it is cheaper then milk so it lowers capitalization. It can give the business man more profit!below is Melamine，doesn't it look like milk？it doesn't have any smell, so cannot be detected.

Starting 2008, In China , an abnormal increase in infant cases of kidney stones. August 2008 China Sanlu Milk Powder tested with Melamine. Sept. 2008　 New Zealand gov't ask China to check this problemSept. 21, 2008　Lots of food products in Taiwan tested with Melamine,
When Melamine is eaten, it cannot be digested. Melamine remains inside the kidney. It forms into stones blocking the tubes. Pain will be eminent and person cannot urinate. Kidney will then swell. Although surgery can remove the stones, but it will cause irreversible kidney damage. It can lead to loss of kidney function and will requirekidney dialysis or lead to death because of uremia.Kidney dialysis or "blood washing" is filtering all of the body's blood into the machine and then go back to the body. The whole process takes 4 hours and it is necessary to dialysis once for every 3 days for the rest of your life。
It is more serious in babies because the kidney is very small and they drink a lot of milk powder. Here is a baby undergoing dialysis.
China currenty has 13,000 infants hospitalized. It does not matter how much a human being took Melamine. The important point is "It cannot be EATEN!"

What should we do?
Avoid the above foods for at least six months。

If you have snack bar, restaurant or coffee shops。Stop selling dairy products for the meantime.

If you have infants at home, change to mother's milkor find other substitutes.。

It is composed of 88-hectare flame shaped exclusive residential beach front properties that is located at Batangas area, particularly Nasugbu Batangas.
Developed by Landco Pacific Corporation and Roxaco Land Corporation in 1997 and was fully operational in 1999, Punta Fuego is one of only three land masses jutting out of the coastline of Nasugbu into the South China Sea. The Punta Fuego community consists of Spanish-Mediterranean-inspired villas, a Beach Club, a Marina, a nine-hole golf course, a Country Club
Punta Fuego was known for 800 meters of fine white sand and pristine clear waters making this the best swimming beach in Nasugbu Batangas. The pool is made up of tiles that is similar to the color of the sky. Traditionally, the dance consists of two steps forward and one step backward, done to the sound of the drums.

Recently, the cultural event has been commercialized as a tourist attraction and instead of traditional street-dancing from locals, Sinulog also came to mean a contest highlighting groups from various parts of the country. The Sinulog Contest is traditionally held in the Cebu City Sports Complex, where most of Cebu's major provincial events are held.

The games were staged in the wooded valley of Olympia in Elis. Here the Greeks erected statues and built temples in a grove dedicated to Zeus, supreme among the gods. Scholars have speculated that the games in 776 BC were not the first games, but rather the first games held after they were organized into festivals held every four years as a result of a peace agreement between the city-states of Elis and Pisa.
According to Hippias of Elis, who compiled a list of Olympic victors c.400 BC, at first the only Olympic event was a 200-yard dash, called a stadium. This was the only event until 724 BC, when a two-stadia race was added. Two years later the 24-stadia event began, and in 708 the pentathlon was added and wrestling became part of the games. This pentathlon, a five-event match consisted of running, wrestling, leaping, throwing the discus, and hurling the javelin. In time boxing, a chariot race, and other events were included.
The ancient Greeks were highly competitive and believed strongly in the concept of "agon", or "competition" or "contest". The ultimate Greek goal was to be the best. All aspects of life, especially athletics, were centered around this concept. It was therefore considered one of the greatest honors to win a victory at Olympia. The fact that the only prize given at Olympia was an olive wreath illustrates this point. The athletes competed for honor, not for material goods.
Connected with this is the development of military training. The Games were an attractive means of getting men fit. The traditional Greek view that the gods championed a winner, so by establishing a competition aimed at producing supreme winners, they were thereby asserting the power and influence on humans of the supreme god, Zeus
There are also Greek myths about how the games were started. The most common myth was the story of the hero Pelops. Pelops was a prince from Lydia in Asia Minor who sought the hand of Hippodamia, the daughter of King Oinomaos of Pisa. Oinomaos challenged his daughter's suitors to a chariot race under the guarantee that any young man who won the chariot race could have Hippodamia as a wife. Any young man who lost the race would be beheaded, and the heads would be used as decoration for the palace of Oinomaos. With the help of his charioteer Myrtilos, Pelops devised a plan to beat Oinomaos in the chariot race. Pelops and Myrtilos secretly replaced the bronze linchpins of the King's chariot with linchpins made of wax. When Oinomaos was about
to pass Pelops in the chariot race, the wax melted and Oinomaos was thrown to his death. Pelops married Hippodamia and instituted the Olympic games to celebrate his victory.
Another myth about the origin of the Olympic Games comes from the Tenth Olympian Ode of the poet Pindar. He tells the story of how Herakles, on his fifth labor, had to clean the stables of King Augeas of Elis. Herakles approached Augeas and promised to clean the stables for the price of one-tenth of the king's cattle. Augeas agreed, and Herakles rerouted the Kladeos and Alpheos rivers to flow through the stables. Augeas did not fulfill his promise, however, and after Herakles had finished his labors he returned to Elis and waged war on Augeas. Herakles sacked the city of Elis and instituted the Olympic Games in honor of his father, Zeus.
The games were held every four years from 776 BC to 393 AD, when they were abolished by the Christian Byzantine Emperor Theodosius I. The ancient Olympic Games lasted for 1170 years.
The successful campaign to revive the Olympics was started in France by Baron Pierre de Coubertin late in the 19th century. The first of the modern Summer Games opened on Sunday, March 24, 1896, in Athens, Greece. The first race was won by an American college student named James Connolly

It was partially inspired by American mainstream comic strips and comic books called "Funnies" during the early 20th century.
Written in the Tagalog, the vernacular language spoken at Filipino homes and gatherings, the komiks had become a kind of “national book”, easily understood by the Filipinos. Komiks could be found being read almost anywhere: in the ricefield as the farmer enjoyed a short relief from his backbreaking work; in the staircase, in the comfort room, or almost everywhere else. Aside from serving as an entertainment magazine to aid those who wanted a quick nap on boring afternoons, the komiks served a variety of purposes: fuel for fire stoves, salted fish wrapper, paper fan, an emergency umbrella on a sudden downpour, or a portable lavatory equipment. Komiks was patronized in great quantities by the masang Pilipino who could not afford theaters, movies, or vaudevilles.
Komiks became so popular that many serial novels and komiks series were later adapted into other art forms like movies, radio plays, musicals, and theater plays.
As early as the 1950s, komiks had become a rich resource of movie outfits for their screenplays. Some of the early komiks stories that were made into movies were Sawa sa Lumang Simboryo, which won the first Famas Best Picture Award in 1952, El Indio, Darna, Kenkoy, Bondying, Tres Ojos, Barbaro, and hundreds of others. A movie that was previously serialized as komiks was sure to become a box office hit.
Komiks is also making waves in television production. Recently, ABS-CBN started a new series entitled KOMIKS, where the outfit will feature classic Pinoy komiks stories made into short teleseryes. GMA 7 countered by buying the television rights of such popular komiks characters as Darna and Captain Barbell, and turning them into highly-rated prime-time television series.
Komiks became widespread and popular throughout the country, making the Philippines one of the biggest publishers of komiks in the world. In recent times, though, its popularity has subsided due to some factors.
The resurgence in komiks' interest was only to last up to the early 1990s when Filipinos began to notice other forms of entertainment such as video games, karaoke, cheap pocket book novels, cellphones, and much later the internet.
The shift in the interest of Filipinos from being readers to viewers reflect the constant changes of technology in modern times which adversely affected the komiks industry.
By the year 2005, there were no longer any major publishers of komiks in the Philippines. What remained were the smaller ones, who did not lose hope and instead published independent comics titles.
As of now, a komiks revival is in the offing, with veteran Carlo J. Caparas leading the movement, together with the support of National Commission on Culture and Arts chairwoman Cecile Guidote Alvarez.

Iranian national TV's showed a series of programs called Korean Wave introducing Korean culture. Aside from Iranians Korean drama also captures the heart of viewers from other countries like Japan and Philippines. Korean actors and actresses were invited and interviewed on national TV. Soon after that, another Korean drama, Emperor of the Sea became popular. The growing success of Korean drama was shortly matched in the fields of movies and popular musics.
Success of Korean dramas can be attributed to good looking actors and actresses who embody a number of traits that are very familiar to regular drama viewers and popular fantasies among women. Korean dramas typically deal with family issues, love, and filial piety in an age of changing technology and values.
South Korea is now the 10th largest economy in the world, and 9th largest film market, and its entertainment companies are able to finance shows and movies with production values higher than in much of Asia. Korean pop singers' performances are slickly produced and often feature spectacular laser and fireworks shows.
The overwhelming success of South Korean dramas, movies, and music served as a major tourist magnet in 2005, mainly from China, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Marshall Island.
Recent years have seen an increase in interest in the Korean language, Korean cuisine and Hanbok, the traditional Korean dress.

Boracay is the Beach Capital of the Philippines and is one the major destinations / tourist spots in the world. In fact, Boracay is often called "the world's most beautiful tropical island".

Boracay was then called "Land of the Atis" because the first settlers of the island are the Negritos or Atis. The Negritos farmed and fished in Boracay for centuries.

When a German writer published a book about the Philippines in 1978, describing Boracay history and the beautiful island in details, the island was introduced to the world. This mark the beginning of tourist "boom" with tourist.

Since then, The onset of tourism changed Boracay completely. As word of its exceptional beauty--specifically the immaculate white sands of White Beach spread, tourists began arriving. Suddenly, from a sleepy, sparsely populated island, Boracay was transformed into a major destination on the international travel circuit. Whether the change was for the better or worse is an open question, but it was certainly a turning point in the history of Boracay Island.

Boracay's attractions do not stop at its natural beauty. A wide range of accommodation serving every visitor's lifestyles is available on the island. To satisfy every palate and for night-lovers, Boracay's beachfront is lined with varied international restaurants, open-air bars, karaokes bars and discos.

It is bounded to the south by the town of Bangui and to the east by the Cordillera Mountain Range , the town of Adams and the province of Cagayan.
It is considered the largest island in the Philippines. The hills and mountains are luxuriant, the valleys productive. It lies 45 miles north of Laoag City, the provincial capital, and about 350 miles north of Manila
Its white-sand beaches and crystal-blue water makes Pagudpud a haven for tourists. Maira-Ira Point is also an emerging attraction with its secluded beach known as the Blue Lagoon.
Inexpensive resorts are located along the shores of Pagudpud. They normally charge a fixed fee about US$5.00 for a nipa hut where you can hide under the hot sun. Pagudpud, as elsewhere in Ilocos, is very safe, and the people are friendly and hospitable.
Tagalog is the language you'll hear most often, but don't be afraid - a lot of Filipinos speak English, even if some can be a bit shy. The more-educated and more-traveled people aren't shy at all and will be more than able to amaze you with their English.
While Manila is a wonderful place to spend a day or two, you'll soon most likely want to get away from it all. Pagudpud is an excellent place to go. It's clean and green and apparently in a different world. In fact, Pagudpud is the farthest geographical point from Manila without leaving the island of Luzon. This has its advantages.

More than 500 tourists from all parts of the world daily visit the town, from Monday through Sunday. These tourists are ferried to the enchanting Pagsanjan falls in native bancas paddled by expert boatmen. They all experience a thrilling memory of adventure, seldom surpassed in their lifetime.
Pagsanjan falls is situated three miles outside of the town of Pagsanjan somewhere in the rugged highlands of Cavite. The only passable route to it is the Bumbungan River of Pagsanjan. To reach Pagsanjan Falls, tourists or visitors have to ride on bancas (native canoes) manned by skilled Pagsanjeño boatmen (bankeros). The upstream trip to the Falls lasts more than one hour and the return trip is less than an hour. It is on this return that one has to shoot the rapids -- an unforgetable thrill of a lifetime. There are fourteen roaring rapids in all. The trip upriver is a rather slow process, for the two boatmen are paddling against the stream currents. Before entering the gorge, one would see a broad bend or curve of the river, whose water is extremely deep. This bend is called Kawa-Kawa. According to local legendary lore, the muddy bottom of this bend contains a giant bell, whose thunderous peals frightened little children and pregnant women many, many years ago.
Before reaching the gorgeous Pagsanjan Falls, one may behold many mini-falls, especially during rainy days. The first of this mini-falls is the Talahib Falls. Farther on are the Kaluykuy Falls and the misty Bridal Veil Falls. The other mini-falls, numbering more than nineteen during the rainy months, have no names. Many of these are unseen during the summer season. After more than an hour of difficult journey upstream, during which the boatmen have to drag the banca, with two passengers on board, or lift it up across the rapids, the real thing emerges in view -- the enchanting Pagsanjan falls, whose booming waters cascade down a 300-foot high rocky cliff in full splendor. The echoes of the falling waters fill the air with symphonic thunder. Behind the curtain of the cascading waters is the mysterious Devil's Cave, so named because its opening looks like the profile of a devil's face. The base of Pagsanjan Falls is a huge natural swimming pool. Its water is clean and rather cold. A good swimmer can dive and swim to his heart's delight.

The place has gone through a remodeling and has just opened a hot spring torrent river, family raft ride for this summerid video of water versus fire is all prepared together with the usual fun of Amazon Express, Hoorum Ride, Double Rock Spin and some 50,000 lilies in the Everland Flower Garden. In 2002, 20 artists who were graduates of Hongik University in Seoul started creating what would form to be Korea’s only sexual theme park. Located on Jeju Island, close to the southwestern corner of the Korean peninsula, the park opened its gates in 2004. The exhibition halls that house a gift shop and gallery are made to resemble traditional Korean domes, but that’s where the traditional aspect of the park ends.
The park is focused on a theme of sex, running sex education films, and featuring 140 sculptures representing humans in various sexual positions. The entire park is designed around a lake than contains a statue of two pairs of upside-down legs entangled around each other, as if suggesting the rest of the bodies are snuggling under the waters. Sensual sculptures adorn the borders of the lake, ranging from two fully-dressed lovers who are leaning over and kissing discreetly, to a collection of descriptive sexual positions seemingly based from cultures around the world. Exhibits like the nipple mountain with pink nubs at their tips and penis fountains that rise majestically from the goldfish pond can shock even the most jaded tourists with their explicitness. It also has other elements such as large phallus statues, stone labia, and hands-on exhibits such as a "masturbation-cycle."
Jeju is a popular honeymoon destination frequenty visited by nwelyw eds so it not too surprising the park was built there.

The half-moon shaped island boasts wide-open grassy areas suitable for picnics and recreation surrounded by chestnut and popular trees. For Koreans and international visitors the island is an oasis suitable for leisurely strolls or romantic dates.

The name of the island derives from the fact that it is home to the tomb of General Nami (1441-1469), who was appointed minister of the Military Board at age 25 after suppressing Lee Shi-ae's Revolt during the reign of King Sejo of the Joseon Dynasty but was later branded a traitor and executed at the age of 26.Since 1967 the island has been developed as an integrated recreation area and in fact the entire island is natural playground floating on the tranquil waters of the lake created by the dam. As the island is located only 90 minutes from Seoul, over the years it has been used as an off-site training facility for college students and businesses and as a recreation spot for day trippers, family getaways and site for seminars or outdoor field study.

Beginning in the 1980s Nami Island became a favorite location for the filming of movies (Choi In-ho's "Winterreise") and in 2003 roseto international prominence with the re-broadcast of the Korean television series "Winter Sonata" throughout Asia. With the impetus of several years of hostinga variety of cultural events including concerts and exhibitions as well as its reputation as a place where children are inspired to dream and hope, where memories are created for lovers, and artists and writers find a nurturing home, the island has become known by its nicknames of Fairy Tale World and Song Island.
