Kristian Schuller is a Paris-based photographer.

Born in Romania, Kristian emigrated with his family to Germany at an early age.

He studied fashion design with Vivienne Westwood and photography with FC Gundlach at the University of Fine Arts Berlin.

After his initial introduction by Isabella Blow to Condé Nast Publications in London, Kristian has continued working internationally with various fashion magazines and commercial clients.

His first book, "90 Days, One Dream", was published in 2010. Award: Silver Medal "Deutscher Fotobuchpreis 2011".

Nuue 14

Nuue, originally called Wrapped Garment project, is named after a Korean word that means cocoon.

Wrapping synthetic fibre around a desired form such as a wooden mannequin or a board. Through a heating process with pressure, wound fibre transforms itself into a 3-dimensional moulded garment bringing expected and unexpected sculptural silhouettes with flexible texture. The garment can be completed with only unitary fibre and heat. This technique reduces processes of making fabric from fibre, also from fabric to garment such as making/cutting pattern, and sawing. Therefore there is no leftover or wastage of material in this process.

Jungeun has been experimenting and researching unconventional methods of creating garments. Rethinking about the fundamental process of producing a garment has led her to the Nuue project. The conceptual garments and products that have been created through the discovered technique display the potential of this idea and a journey that she will continue to develop.

Increíbles bolsos presentados en Cibeles por la firma Española Adolfo Dominguez para la primavera y verano 2012.
Volúmenes sencillos y muy cuidados. Resaltando la combinación de colores (tanto en las pieles como en los acabados de los metales) y texturas. Tambien la utilización del logo en metal, con acabados en oro rosa (algo muy original y que no se encuentra fácilmente) y oro pálido, estos mismos acabados utilizados en las cadenas, cremalleras y tiradores. Por otro lado, también han utilizado el logo esmaltado en distintos colores, dándole a los bolsos un toque muy especial y haciendo que éste resalte.
Muy buena adaptación en las pieles de los estampados utilizados en los tejidos.

Clean and well care volumes. Bringing out the colour combinations (in leathers and finished metals) and textures combinations. Also the use of metal logo, with finished in pink gold (something very original and not easily found in a bag) and palid gold, same finished used in chains, zippers and pullers.
On the other hand, they also use enamel logos in several colours, giving to the bags a special touch.
Gorgeous adaptation on leathers from the stampings used in the fabrics.

Paper Donut is a french collective founded in September 2009. Directed by Alexis Facca it’s results from work of many hands: Justine RICAUD, Fanette GUILLOUD, Benoît BRULBAULT have already given their time to the collective.

One of the most compelling items in this particular gallery is an ensemble that’s made out of duck feathers dyed black, which gives the impression of a raven. A raven was a romantic symbol of death. It’s an item that’s very melancholic but also very romantic at the same time. It came from a collection called The Horn of Plenty. And The Horn of Plenty was a collection that was very much inspired by the 1950s haute couture.

This corset was inspired by the coiled necklaces of the Ndebele people of southern Africa. McQueen gave jeweler Shaun Leane the daunting task of transforming the necklace into a corset.
