woohoo, my exams are over....REAL JOY HEHEHEHEH
anyways, wanna share some photos from my jalan-jalan KL one day trip
yeaps, 14 hours of walking, no joke, really felt like a foreign tourist haha...
and realize that KL is a really beautiful place, many fun stuff to do, one day is never never enough...so yea this is actually our 2nd trip, continue from 2010's trip.

Syok ah!!

so, one of our must do mission is to go to KLCC's skybridge, we thought that it's free admission and there will be super a lot of people, so we woke up at 6 and reach there about 7.30 something, only to find out that they actually charge 25 bucks for entrance this year. No wonder not many people were waiting when we reach. So yea, wait till 9 something and yeaps, we went to the skybridge.

yea tho it's 25 bucks, but once u step on that bridge, you know it's worth it!

ooops, i haven't mention who was my jalan-jalan mate

yeaps it's MIUYINN!! thanks for doing this again after one year!! 14 hours of walking would have been horrible without you!!

Other than the skybridge, we went to the 86th floor as well, which is pretty much the highest place la...

and it's really cool to see how cars and buildings look like legoland to me haha...

Next, took the train to Masjid Jamek. and our real WALKING TRIP started!

Next, right beside the merdaka square, KL City Gallery
it's a new attraction...there's a small exhibition about history of Kuala Lumpur then a showcase of all the craftworks from ARCH.

Next, the Textile Musuem, which is quite a new tourist site as well. Really cool place, tells you everything about clothings, fabric, thread, accessories, from traditional to modern ones. Admission is FREE :D

But I must say, that place is abit scary, coz the setting it's kinda dark. I know they are trying to give the "very high class" feel, but that place is kinda empty and quiet, so u cant help but to feel abit scary....

Next, on our way towards Lake Gardens

Passed by the National Mosque and went to the Tun Abdul Razak Memorial as well.

Lunch : At Hornbill Reastaurant, @Bird Park

Damn expensive, and in fact not yummy at all.

All I paid for is the air cond.

The place look nice, but got the Bird Park smell. Yea....abit tak tahan...

Next, move on to Orchid Park
almost died from walking up the hill. Imagine the 3pm sun on top of us....almost wanted to give up edi..
But it was worth it once u reach there... really nice place to relax, plus, admission is free !!! woohoo

Next, Hibiscus Park
again, almost died on our way up. Seriously damn hot. Honestly, didn't see many hibiscus. But also a good place to relax, if the sun is not that hot.

We took a one hour nap on the bench over there....

It was really hot, then suddenly, it look like it was going to rain.

so we didn't even go to the Lake Garden and walk straight to the National Monument.

and yes, it still rained. TT.TT

yeap we wore our yellow raincoat and walked up the stairs to see the monuments. Only had this photo.

it was raining heavily, in fact it was the day when KL was flooded. Yea imagine how heavy the rain was. we've got no choice but to wait until the rain gets abit smaller. Our next destination is Bukit Bintang. But sadly, the monument there got no bus at all. seriously, we waited for so so long. Didn't see a single bus. so plan B was to take a cab. And i don't know why on earth those taxi drivers didn't want business?? I mean, it wasn't only us who were waiting for taxis. Non of the EMPTY taxis stop mannn.....and there were many who were waiting for taxis as well, it was like a battle LOL almost wanted to cry and call our parents to fetch us LOL

but Thank God, one came and send us directly to Pavillion at 9 bucks. well i think it's consider okay la, coz our original plan was to go back to a train station and take monorail.

So yea, walked around in Pavillion and had our dinner at Food Republic.

Then we walked along Bukit Bintang, went to the malls like Fahrenheit 88, Sungei Wang Plaza, then walked to Timessquare as well.

Yeaps, really really tired....but it's really really fun. we salah jalan, extra jalan, then explored some new and interesting place. KL is really really beautiful at night. Here's some extra shots....

went last minute shopping just now, and finally, GOT some CNY Feel edi :D
bought loads of junk food that will be with accompanying me in my house throughout this CNY - a CNY without relatives, without mahjong and cards, without yummy dishes from my aunts....:(
but nvm, i still have my family :D and the tv, and my thick stack of books LOL

i dunno what to say now....all i know is I should study but I dont feel like doing it :(
and the second thing i know is, it's Chinese New Year and I don't feel like it is...
saw beautiful red lights around the neighbourhood....but seriously, no mood....
didn't performed well in my exams, now I can only put my hope on the last 3 papers...
the hardest three papers....
and today, all the special CNY shows started airing, and they are NOT VERY HELPFUL with my studies haha

anyways.....Just wanna wish my friends Happy Dragon New Year, I'll be back to "Excited State" very very soon, after being "knocked out" by exams to a Lower (not Higher) Energy Level.
(okay, this shows how much I cared about my SCREWED UP Physics Unit 2 paper, argh!!!!!)

But then, my brother bought me Java Chip and said New Year Chukgahamida LOL

well I'm not sure whether it is proper korean but I know he meant Happy New Year to me!!

Java Chip is like my fave drink mannn....this totally made my day!! I will definitely rmb this new year day!!

at the Johor Premium Outlet

Like what I'd posted before, I was away from home and stayed at Johor for a one week holiday. Yeaps, to me, holidays doesn't mean going to some nice tourist spots, as long as I don't have to do house chores and have good food to eat, it's called a holiday for me!!!! :D and yes, last week's holiday was awesome!!

Well to answer the question of Why I suddenly have a holiday? well it's because my relatives and cousins came to visit. Brought them to jalan-jalan at 1u.

Another mission was to bring them to the arcade LOL

Went to Kayu for supper and this is like the second time that I bring my Johor relatives to eat Roti Tissue. And I LOVE their reaction when they see how long the thing is hahahahahahah

Well the movie was so-so larrr... kinda funny and kinda cute...

but I don't see a lot of point in it...After all it's a family show, so I guess it's okay since i'm watching with a "Family Member" :P

At night.....went to JPO. It wasn't officially opened yet but the crowd was huge already!! It was a normal wednesday night, but seriously, I thought it was weekend. Basically it's a mall with all the very luxurious brands, from DKNY, to Burberry to Michael Kors etc etc etc The deal is that all the branded items are sold at discounted price. so yea, many people came to shop and quite a lot of them are Singaporeans.

The place is also very very nice, looks very classic and classy....

Really hope to come back soon!!! saw many cute tops, pretty shoes from Charles and Keith and nice watches.

Day 4 - TRY-TO-STUDY-DAY

anyways, at night, went to Pasar Malam for FOOD HUNT!!

and this is what happens when u have a still-growing 12 yrs old cousin, look at how much food HE ahem.we.ahem bought!!! Asam Laksa, Taufufa, Bonito Waffles, Takoyaki, Otak-Otak, Kaya Ball etc etc etc

Day 5 - Starhill
went swimming, well in my case, it's playing with water instead of swimming hahaaaa.... felt like a kid
but didn't really enjoy much coz it rained.....sigh :(

It's not that I dont wanna blog. I have a lot to talk about and in fact quite a lot of photos to show. But i can't use my relative's notebook to upload the pics. I'm using an iPad now(of coz not mine la), the sad thing is u can't upload photos to blogger with an iPad, unless u buy apps like blogpress or blogsy. So yea.....damn sad, really wanna blog about my crazy days over here.....

oops, I haven't even mention where am I, I am now in Johor, well precisely Kempas, my relative's home. I'm on holidays!!!! Yes, on my own, without daddy mommy. No house chores for one week yay!!! But in fact I feel weird that I have no chores to do :( I think I miss my home.....

well so far, it's been really fun, with my cousins. Played mahjong like crazy, watched movie, ate yummy stuffs and just came back from shopping at Johor Premium Outlet. Tomorrow, hmmmm, pasar malam and then Swimming on Friday maybe???

Other than missing my family, the only bad thing is that I couldn't study at all..... iPad is really a HUGE HUGE DISTRACTION!!!!!!

This was suppose to be a surprise event. But, i don't think 2pm noticed the bubbles. Coz not many of the fans are blowing it, they are too occupied with taking photos of the boys. But I must give credits to the fan club people, who put in so much effort into this.

Before entering, the crowd outside the stadium was insane. They put the Rock Pit entrance next to the Free Seating entrance, can you imagine how packed it was???

once I got in, I was thankful that there's aircond. And when they show me where the rock pit is, i'm like : "MY GOSH DAMN CLOSE TO THE STAGE"

Suddenly I heard the crowd screaming and cheering. Yeaps, Nickhun's family arrived. and Mygosh, the brother look exactly like Nickhun lorrr....Everyone treated the family like superstars LOL. They were really polite, Nickhun's mother kept greeting to us.

Basically, the concert was awesome. Every second was hot and high and hyper!
They look abit tired, but still they danced and sang their hearts out.
I find Taecyeon's live rap really good haha...and watching Wooyoung dance live was like....awesome!!

JunHo!! he looks really FIT in real life. Still my fave!!

Chansung and Junsu. Wanna praise Junsu, he's so good in both singing and dancing!! and his solo stage - ALIVE, was awesome!

Nickhun!!!! He did really well!! Probably because his family was there to support him!! and he's really photogenic, every photo of him that I took looks really nice!! and my gosh his smile and the way he speak english...*dies*

Last, Taecyeon. I was totally mesmerized by him. I'm not that a BIG BIG fan of Taecyeon before this, and I didn't understand why so many girls out there love him so much. But after you see him in person, my gosh he is so freaking HOT. Very tall, very handsome and very sexy. I'm a BIG BIG fan of him now :D

anyways, I'm really grateful that I can watch this concert. And I'm like so close to them weih...can see their faces clearly. I don't know why but I felt kinda touched whenever they sing right in front of me. It makes me feel like, the idol that I liked so much, which is from such a far place from me, is actually REAL, these Idols are real, and I'm looking at them right now! I didn't wasted my time liking and admiring some idol group which I thought was just a dream.

Once again, Thank You 8TV. For making all these happen!!

After the concert, I saw Nickhun's sister, Sherleen. and I asked for a photo with her.

I was kinda speechless and didn't know what to say, and all I can say is "Thank You Thank You". She was really really nice and polite! Love her! Hope to see her again :D

除了感动，还是感动。

就用导演九把刀的话来做个介绍吧：

與青春訣別的關鍵時刻，最容易創作出關於青春最棒的作品。

我的青春很快樂很瘋狂，卻也有很多遺憾，這些遺憾是青春美好的副作用，帶著我回到十七歲那年的青春盛夏，看看我們這一群臭小鬼，當年是如何擠破頭追求那可愛的女孩，沈佳宜。

大家都說我很幼稚，但幸好我比大家想像的都還要幼稚。

我找了一群很好的製作夥伴，熱力十足的年輕演員，浩浩蕩蕩回到故事發生的地方，我的故鄉彰化，我的母校精誠中學，我穿過的制服，重現十五年前的時代氣氛。

電影，會很好看。

剧情大纲：

青春是一場大雨。即使感冒了，還盼望回頭再淋它一次。

柯騰的一群好友，為了共同喜歡的沈佳宜，不約而同從精誠中學國中部直升到高中部，繼續未完的戀愛戰鬥。

某天柯騰因過度惡作劇被導師處罰，坐到好學生沈佳宜前面，由她代為監視。起先兩人彼此抗拒，但柯騰漸漸喜歡上逼他用功讀書的沈佳宜，沈佳宜也受到柯騰帶來的迥異價值觀深深地衝擊，柯騰展開了追求，沈佳宜則猶豫不決。

高中畢業後，原本快要在一起的柯騰與沈佳宜，卻因為柯騰舉辦的自由格鬥賽大吵一架，遺憾未能成為戀人。

看著一起追過多年的女孩步入禮堂，成了別人的新娘子，每個男孩都得到了各自的成長，也繼續追尋各自的幸福。

比起影评，我倒觉得我接下来要写的比较像是感想。
还没看着部戏之前，真的不了解为什么每个人，每个网站，每份报纸都在说着部戏多么的好，多么的棒。“还不是一出关于一班男生追一个女生的青春爱情喜剧片”，我当时是这么想的。后来才知道，我错了。剧情，是很简单，但当中的情感与画面上的细节，不是每个导演或编剧能够完美地呈现的。我只能说，导演很用心。这是导演的亲身经历，相信他是尽全力地想把当年的画面和故事及当中的种种快乐，感触和遗憾完美无缺的带给观众，让大家感受到他当年刻骨铭心的青春。剧情能够如此感动人心，是因为这是一个真实的经历。有欢笑，有泪水，有甜蜜，也有遗憾。

先说说我对剧情的看法吧。电影不只是叙述柯腾追沈家宜的过程，当中也呈现了五个高中大男孩的友谊，他们的行为，对话，玩闹都和每个人所经历的青春一样，我看了会不时因为回忆起中学的日子而傻笑。我超喜欢电影里的每一个角色，很真实，会让我想起我高中时的同学，及我们之间充满快乐，欢笑和鼓励的友谊。
除了友谊，柯腾和沈家宜之间的感情，就是这出戏的重点。从刚开始的抗拒，一直到后来的喜欢，当中的过程，很真实，就是很单纯地非常喜欢一个人，之后互相鼓励，互相帮忙。柯腾很呵护家宜，也会在她伤心时安慰她，逗她笑，想办法让他开心。虽然偶尔很幼稚，但还是打动了家宜的心。家宜也开始关心柯腾，想和他说话，聊天，也想帮他考取好成绩，为他绑马尾......过程中的种种举动，很简单，但就是很甜蜜，热情和真诚。

就如导演所说，遗憾是青春美好的副作用。两人升了大学后，发生了许多事，错过了很多，遗憾也越来越多。两人本来已经各自确定了自己对对方的心意，但却因为一时的恐惧，错过了能坦诚向对方表达内心的机会。也因为那个恐惧，酿成了下一个遗憾。原本想证明自己能成为对方最棒的男人，到最后，不只失败了，也让对方看到了一个自己很难被接受的一面，而那就是幼稚的一面。两个人都不肯妥协，各走各的，没有人愿意回头把对方追回来，到最后，一切就真的结束了。看了之后，我心里在想：如果当时，其中一个愿意退一小步，或是在那一分钟内转回头，相信结局，肯定会不一样，不对，是完全不一样。两个人在雨中分开的那一幕，真的让我感触很多，也替他们感到可惜，搞得我差点快哭了。但这就是现实，人总是会先顾虑自己的感受，下一秒才会想到对方。有时，那“下一秒”，可能是好几小时，好几天，或好几年后。你想挽回，也太迟了。只能在心里纳闷，“如果我当时......”， ”真不应该那样......”，”如果能重来......”，“如果我没想那么多......”

这些“如果”，都没用了。我相信，遗憾的不只是柯腾，沈家宜也一样。

最后，让我感到非常温馨的，是柯腾对沈家宜的祝福。

柯腾本来说，要祝福一个你很喜欢很喜欢的女生和别的男生在一起，根本是不可能的事。但后来新娘入场时，柯腾才知道自己错了。當你真正很喜歡一個人的時候，原本認為自己絕對不會想去祝福她，但當她站在他面前時，才知道原來自己是打從心底希望她是幸福的。柯腾看着穿上婚纱的沈家宜，脸上露出了祝福她的笑容。那个画面是美到........!!!! 真的很感动，很温馨。

这出戏，有一点是我非常喜欢的，就是反映了人生和人性写实的一面，让我挺有感触的。

“我都以為我自己是個超有自信的人，但那時我才發現，原來在喜歡的女孩面前，我是個膽小鬼。” 柯腾

“常常聽人家說啊，戀愛最美好的時候就是曖昧的時候。” 沈家宜

“人生本來就有很多事是徒勞無功的啊。” 沈家宜

“成長，最殘酷的部分就是，女孩永遠比同年齡的男孩成熟；女孩的成熟，沒一個男孩招架得住。” 柯腾

对白也写的超好，听起来，好像很简单，但其实意义很深，好像真的能感受到主角的心情。

“我失戀了，我失去了沈佳宜。我的青春，什麼都不剩了……” 柯腾

“我想成為一個很厲害的人，因為有了我，讓這個世界，而有一點點的不一樣；而我的世界，不過就是妳的心。” 柯腾

“謝謝你喜歡我。” 沈家宜

而搞到我差点哭的是这句：“也許在另外一個平行時空裡，我們是在一起的。” 柯腾
这句对白说出时，让我想起了他们之前所有的经历和遗憾，而柯腾的语气，乐观又带点遗憾的气息，总之真的觉得很可惜，所以差点哭了。

总的来说，喜欢这出戏的原因是因为他很真实。拍摄手法也非常好，呈现了许多青春回忆里的场景和气氛，每个人脸上的表情也捕捉得很好。最后，要谢谢九把刀，拍了一部，让我非常感动的电影。我虽然没有类似的经历，但我真的觉得能够从你的电影去感受你以前的经历，是很棒的。我，笑了很多，学了很多，感动很多，差点哭了也很多。太棒了！这部戏，可是我第一部在电影院看两次的戏哦！

DIY Lip Balm

woohoo, something that I always wanted to do. Lip Balm. Basically it's the easiest thing to do, yet it has so many functions and the raw materials are quite affordable :D

Sweet Almond Oil, Beeswax and Honey

Bought the Almond Oil, Natural Beeswax and the Beaker from Beauty360 at beauty360degrees.com

Added Vitamin E as well

Basically, I had my own way of doing it after refering to different websites (and also after many failures).

6 - 7 parts of Oil to 1 part of Beeswax

A Little bit of Honey will do because honey doesn't mix well.

1 capsule of Vitamin E as preservative.

Melt the beeswax and oil in microwave or in my case, in water bath.

Remove from heat and add in the honey and the contents of the Vitamin E capsule.

Mix well and ta-dah

See, my 1st try, the honey didn't mix, so it couldn't harden.

Then the 2nd time, still the same problem.

Then 3RD TIME!!

My gosh I almost cried. Maybe I was rushing, I accidentally spill the contents into the water. Haizzzzz I used twice the amount of raw materials, hoping to finish in one shot. But clearly, the faster you want, the slower you get.

The sad thing is not because I failed, but because I have to wash everything and My Goodness they are all wax and oils. So freaking hard to wash off. And the more i touch things, the more oily my kitchen gets. There's nothing that can wash off the oils except my Make-up Remover. Use almost half of the bottle to clean the wax and oils on the sink, the boiler, the beaker. Used super a lot of kitchen towel as well. TT.TT

Thank God, I made it at the 4th time!!! and the Oil was just enough to make 10 lip balms.

Apparently, my friend suggested to call my lip balm brand JIAPHORA as in like Sephora LMAO

Basically, it's a very moisturizing lip balm because it has both Sweet Almond Oil and Honey, plus Vitamin E that heals wound. After my short "clinical trial", the balm really softens my lips, as in really soft. and a few days later, you can feel the moisture and there's less chapping.

Yay!! Feel so good, to do something I like and sharing it with others at the same time! Hope you guys will like it :D

Let's see, this was on Monday, which was a public holiday. So yes, time to have some fun. Well in fact, lots of fun! XD

This is my second time in MidValley this year. My Gosh, just like how I was in February, I got lost AGAIN. There's a good reason to why it is called Megamall. Anyways, met up with others and went to Carl's Jr. for lunch. Then, went to Cosmic Bowl. Had loads of fun, but I don't know why, I sucked. I use to play quite okay, not good, but okay, but dunno why dat day.....haizzzz But anyways, others did quite well. and there were a lot of funny moments hahahaha....Oh this is my 1st time bowling in Midvalley, and I'm quite impressed with the glow-in-the-dark concept. :D will come back soon hehehe...

The Milky part taste really really good. But it's a bit too sweet. Should have asked for less sweet. Still love the taste larrr, I think they used something like the 糖冬瓜. Very special one, really should try.

Funnel Cake with Strawberry Jam and Ice Cream -- RM 10.50

Funnel cake is one of their specialty. The reason to it's name is because it uses a funnel to make the pattern of the cake. To me, it's nothing close to cake lol. It taste like waffle, but the texture is like "Yao Zha Guai", very very crunchy. With the Jam, Ice Cream, Cream and also drizzle of Chocolate, sweet+crunchy+melting+smooth, my gosh, it's so yummy!!!

One cake is enough for two persons.

Yeap, Ice Cream, Strawberry Jam, Whipped Cream and Chocolate Syrup.

well I was thinking whether I should add more words rather than just calling it an Ice Cream, because it's like....extraordinary. Well at least to me, it is.It's been a while since I ate Ice Cream that is so creamy...

I couldn't remember the name of this flavor, but I kinda checked from the FB page, and I'm pretty sure it's called Rocky Road. hehe...it's around 20 bucks.

Totally Indulged! hmm where do I start? Well firstly, Everything is Yummy. The Walnuts are like awesome mannnn, it's really good quality ones, very soft and crunchy (i hope u get what i mean), and the Marshmallow is also really nice, not too sweet. and the best part is, of course, the Chocolate Ice Cream, it's delicious, it's moderately sweet, unlike those that are too sweet and make you feel sick after like 5 minutes. With the creamy ice cream, walnuts and marshmallows hitting your taste buds at the same time.....it's just *ThumbsUp* I didn't talk coz I was eating non-stop haha. Now you know how to make me shut up :D

The Waffle is also nice, but just the part without the sugar sprinkles coz that choco-sprinkle part is way too sweet. Maybe you can choose the nut one instead of sprinkles.

Wonderful Market by Pipit Zakka Store :D

Sat for the final paper on Friday, which is actually IELTS, almost fell asleep during the test. Anyway, exams are really really over. well trial exam at least. so yeap i decided it was time for me to go out and get some vitamin D after so many weeks of isolation from the outside world. So yea, my dear friend SookChing asked me to go to this Wonderful Market sale which is an event hosted by the Pipit Zakka Store. Basically it's a market that sells local artists' arts and craft works. Well unlike my friend, I'm not a very big fan of arts and crafts, but I thought it will be interesting to go have a look at all these uniquely made items. and yea, it didn't disappoint me, there was a lot to see, and they are all really cute and also charming. My hands were really itchy itchy, I could have bought everything if I have the money....

so yea, took LRT to Pasar Seni, walked pass the graffiti murals and head towards Central Market. It was a Saturday, so the place was, BUSY. A lot of cars, a whole lot more of people...

I reach around 11.45am and met up with SookChing and her mommy, aunt and sister.I was kinda shocked to see so many people already lining up at the entrance. So I know the market must be really really interesting. at around 12 something, the door opens...

I only took some photos, coz "idiotic me" brought the camera but forgot to bring the battery. Anyways, there are all kinds of items sold. From bags, handphone pouches, dolls, plush toys, notebooks ETC ETC. The spotlight is more on the DESIGN of the item. Every artist has their own style.

After that, walked around Petaling Street area while drinking Loh Han Guo, thanks to Sookching's aunt. Walking under the big hot sun is kinda fun if u have a refreshing drink with you!

Then it was lunch time!! Thanks to SookChing's mom, who brought us to a really cool Nyonya Restaurant, I get to eat some good food again!! heheheheh happy happy me :D

Well it's called Old China Cafe @ Jalan Balai Polis, which is somewhere near to the Petaling Street.

Behind those doors, is a really really authentically decorated cafe. It gives a very warm and cozy feeling and also makes u feel like you're back in the 50's or 60's. I adore the place. and I'm pretty sure the foreigners love it more, why?? coz all the customers we saw are foreigners, as in mat salleh's :D (we were the ones who look like outsiders) LOL so there's definitely a charm to that place.

I just enjoyed sitting there and just stare at all the aged photos, portraits, paintings and also some antiques.

Food?? Lagi Best!!

Nyonya Nasi Lemak for RM 9.90

Delicious!! Especially the curry. I can't take very spicy stuff, so that curry was just exactly how I like it, not so spicy, but with a very yummy taste of all the spices and also santan, i'm quite sure there's also serai. And the chicken is really well marinated and has a very nice texture. See the rice, my fave color LOL, very pretty right? The sambal is also nice coz it's not too spicy, but has the sour taste which is very appetizing :D I finished everything, only left with tiny bit of sambal. well you know i can't take spicy stuff hehe...

I think they kinda of adapted it, so it's not that spicy, foreigners can enjoy the local food without making themselves sweating and turning their face red.

yea, after the lunch, walked around abit to digest the food hehe....and walk past many accessories supplier shops. My gawd, they have everything mannnnn, every color, every style, every design, from earrings, to hair clips, to necklace etc etc. and they sell it at a much much cheaper price. I will definitely visit there again :D

I had a really really great day. It's been a while since the last time I walked so much at an area outside of PJ. and it's really rare for me to go out and just walk along streets because my parents are not those shopping people that can walk for hours. I just find it really really fun to walk here and there, in and out. Saw many things, many beautiful and interesting things, and the best part is that I get to drink and eat good food as well!!! Thank you so much Sook Ching!!! and your mom and your aunt! for giving me a fun day!!

Shimino Crepes, Bentos and QBean

Yay, finally have time to dine out :D and try out new food weeeeee :D
went to OU last Thursday with Vince
I didn't go to ou for a quite a long time, so the place look really new to me, and somehow very fun to shop around. But my main point of the day is still FOOD. heheheh
Went to Jusco and omg that place is like heaven mannnnn, all the food, from Japanese food, to donuts, to breads, to beautiful deserts, crepes, cream puffs etc etc ETC ETC....so tempting, I could stay there and eat forever, well if I have the money :D
And one of the best thing they have is the Bento aka Lunch Boxes. I shall add, Yummy and Cheap Bentos. There's so many to choose, from seafood, eel, chicken teriyaki etc etc, and they are all freshly prepared, that's why they all taste great!! Other than that, tried out Shimino's Japanese Crepes. Gawd, it's so yummy!

We ordered a savoury one. There's yummy and crunchy veggies like lettuce, tomatoes, ONIONS!!!, and corn. and also has a yummy Chicken Strip and egg slices. All inside a delicious sweet crepe.

Seafood Bento -- RM 6.80

Yummy rice with crunchy deep fried fish fillets and octopus. and there's some onion, carrot, peas and long bean. Quite healthy don't you think?

and It's delicious!!.

Basically, our lunch was just awesome! but it made us really full, so have to jalan-jalan to digest it. After that, I was craving for bubble tea but we're already in Phase 2. So there's no way we'll walk all the way back to phase one to get bubble tea right?? then we saw a shop named Q Bean. well it sells Soya Bean drinks with some twist. Well it look interesting to me, so yeap, ordered a Soy Milk with my fave Yam Flavor.

Green Tea Soy Milk and Yam Soy Milk --- RM3.90 each

It's not what I expected. It's very creamy and has a very strong soy milk taste with just a lil' bit of yam flavor. Which I really really like. The green tea wan is even "cooler", it has a yummy scent of green tea, but not too over and the natural sweetness of soy milk makes a good combination. Love it, both yummy and healthy :D

Yeaps, had a great day, window shopped around, saw many nice clothes and shoes which kinda killed me coz i couldn't buy TT.TT Then the old wing's ground floor has all the cool Halloween stuffs. I was playing around with all the hats, bloody arms and bloody legs. Then went to the Jukebox (opposite of the cinema) to sing K. We sang three songs only, but it was FUN haha....totally shouted our hearts out when we sang Bleeding Love muahahahahah

weeeeeee :D Trials dah habis!!!! I'm back to my site mannn, but just for another month oni, december have to prepare for the REAL exam and also have to sit for SAT 1 and 2 in dec and jan. TT.TT Exam exam, again exam, feel so lifeless :(

anyways, the past few weeks was really tiring, I studied till 2am almost every night and end up getting mild cold, my nose was running like crazy....Didn't study well, I think I'm gonna lose my scholarship TT.TT

Just a few months back when my dad was reorganizing his office, he brought this back and me and my brother were like *O-shaped-Mouth*, and we started asking him "why did u bring this thing back??? Throw it away laaaaaa!!!!" But what we didn't know at that time, was that this machine is actually one of the revolutionary creation of Steve Jobs. And now, I finally understand why my dad refused to throw it away, not just because the fact that this Macintosh Plus is still working, more because of the idea and creator of this.

I was reading the newspaper on Friday where all the papers where reporting about Steve Jobs departure and also talked about his success story and creations, then I saw this very familiar looking monitor which is actually one of the ten greatest creations of Steve Jobs and realize that I actually have one in my house LOL and yea, It's the Macintosh Plus Computer.

My dad was really reluctant to throw this away, in fact he was defending it as if the Mac is like his baby when we asked him "why didn't you throw it away??" My dad has been dealing with computers for more than 20 years, and I guess that's why he knows the value and also the meaning behind this creation. When I asked him about the Mac yesterday, he answered with a smile on his face, "Yes, that is an Original Macintosh Plus" and PROUDLY STATED " It's Still Working wan lerrr!!!!"

You know I saw so many people, especially all the Apple Users were posting their photos of their iPods, iPhones and iPads, showing their appreciation. I don't have any of them, that's why I didn't feel as Sad as them, but after realizing that I have a Macintosh Plus in my house, I think this Macintosh Plus will be a better inspiration to me, a reminder to the person who created it, and also the efforts, the determination, the courage he has.

I never really know what kind of a person Steve Jobs is, but after reading all the articles, I felt nothing but Impressed by his hard work and his way of thinking and also his attitude. He is a CEO that involved himself in the stages of production of a product. and he's a very successful entrepreneur as well. My mouth was wide open when I was reading his articles. *O-Mouth*

Now I truly feel sad that he's not here anymore. It's a big loss. But I'm sure his story will be a great inspiration to others, I'm sure those who are inspired will also be someone like him in the future, and this will definitely make the world a better place.

Thank You Steve Jobs, You are truly an Inspiration.

o-o-opsie....didn't really update
Well, nothing much happened this week, we had our short film filming on tuesday and friday which made me realize what a sucker I am in acting....NG-ed like crazy and I was laughing in all scenes LOL...Then there was Captain Ball club on thursday!! Which was the best thing mann!! Sweat and had fun with my classmates. Loads of funny stuff happened LOL. Yea, Trials will start in 3 weeks time and I haven't start studying TT.TT My gosh....I dunno what's wrong with me, I wanna study but I just can't. (I hope you understand what I'm trying to say...) and yea, our lecturers are rushing to finish the syllabus, really don't know if I can do well. :(
I think I'll blog less less often until trials are over....

This song is really really recent, just yesterday LOL

My friend, JinYun kept telling me she really loved this song so I searched for it. And turns out I actually heard it before, it's just that I didn't know the title LOL Christina's song's are hard to forget once you heard it. And this one, You'll Remember Forever!! What a meaningful and touching song and also inspiring.

I hadn't listen to it for a long time until I suddenly feel like listening to it again, and I loved this song more. Why? Because this song reminds me of a couple in my class (JiaChee and Brandon) who were really really sweet. It seems that I understand the lyrics MORE after knowing both of them and looked at how caring and how much they appreciate each other.

I just adore the flow of the song! It's touching! But not in those like sad-song way. I think it's because how the singer expressed the song and the lyrics are very straight-forward, as if it's telling a true story, a real experience.

I don't understand why some people dislike this song, but I truly liked it.

Why? Because this is a song that made me feel the emotions of something that I've never experienced in my life before, which in this case, it's a Break-Up. I don't know anything about break up but this song just made me feel sad to the core man... From the emotional and powerful vocal and also the meaningful lyrics, you just can't help but to feel as if you've really just suffered a break-up. And the MV, some people think is inappropriate, but it has a very positive message to people who went through breakups.

I always have this dream of owning a cafe. A cafe that people, friends, family, colleagues can just hang out and have a good time and also eat something yummy at the same time :D Well that's because I love places like that. Nothing is better than having a cup of nice coffee and also a sweet cupcake.

Well anyways, It's been a while since I baked and I realize I haven't used the electric mixer that my parents bought me as a gift 2 years ago. So yea, QT is over and last Friday was a public holiday, hehe, my kiddish side is out and ready to do damage to the kitchen muahahahahahaha. So I wanted to try using the mixer larrr, but I wasn't ready to bake something that I've never done before, so my plan was to bake muffins but this time, with buttercream icing made by the electric mixer. WooHoo!!!

And actually, I'm also trying out the new oven which is a gift from my aunt.

Shopped for all these at Bake With Yen at Taman Megah!!!

let me see, there's flour, icing sugar, castor sugar, unsalted butter, choc chips, cocoa powder, full cream milk, vanilla essence, baking powder and soda, the rainbow deco-sugar and also the piping bag!!!

Used it to make the ButterCream Icing which consist of Icing Sugar and Butter in the ratio of 5 : 3

then just add in cocoa powder (mixed with abit of water) or vanilla essence.

Can't believe I can be so truly, madly, deeply addicted to a TVB series. I watched it before QT where I was suppose to study. In fact study about science, but at the end of the day, I'll spend my night watching something about Law LOL!!

I don't know what's wrong with me larrrr, whenever my exams are coming, I just feel like watching TVB shows. I don't watch any of them when there's no exam, But strangely, I Must watch them no matter what even though I'm suppose to study. So according to my 1st Principle, Work Hard Play Hard. I studied in the day and then 12am -3am is my "THE OTHER TRUTH" time!!! :D

Yes, this is the series that made me sacrifice my sleep time.

Once you watch the first episode, there's no way you'll stop. Coz this show is just so freaking awesome!!! :D

Synopsis by me :

Basically the series is about Law. Not lawyers, but Law.

This series has a total of 25 episodes, talking about the story of Mavis Hong, Keith Lau and James Wai who are barristers in the same chamber, with different crime cases and how to defend for justice. Just like the series' title, it tells the story of how these lawyers help their client and how they look for the truth in their own (lawyer) way without the help of others like the police.

The reason I like it so much, it's because all the cases are very interesting.

It's not like suspense-investigating films that keeps you guessing, instead they are more realistic when it comes to helping the victims and also the innocent ones. What they did was to use what they already have, like the proof, evidence, witnesses' statements and try to look for doubtful and questionable points, and also loopholes. They are not exactly investigating the case, they are just clarifying it, so that the judge and the jury know what is to be concerned.

Unlike other lawyers-themed series, which only talks about how-lawyers-help-the-innocent, these one talks about different aspects of the legalization body. There was one case that tells the role of the juries in a case which I really like. Now that I know the juries actually play a very important part and the way they consider and decide the outcome is very very important in a case. Other than that, there's also spotlights on the judges, the different types of lawyers like the solicitor and the barrister, and also on how to appeal for cases.

Well crime cases are actually the main topics, but what keeps the series interesting is also the characters of the series. All the lawyers are super super cool mannnn..... There was one moment where I just want to become a lawyer and be cool like them LOL They are all professional and defends for justice. I love it whenever 2 or more lawyers work together to solve a case. At the same time, the series reveals a lot of problems that lawyers face, not just problems with their clients, but also problems with their point of view on things, their perspective to the truth. And sometimes find it difficult to stand firm on justice while they are constantly being blackmailed and no one seems to believe in the truth.

One of the best thing about this particular series -- Ruco Chan XD

I've watched him act several years ago in a series called Love In a Miracle (爱在有情天）where he's the 2nd male lead and he sang the title song of the show which I really really loved!

I really really liked him since that show, there's something really "yeng" 型 about him. But after that I seldom watch his series coz he was in ATV. Then when he got back to TVB, well he's acting is very good but he was always doing the minor characters. and NOW finally!!!! He's the lead of the series!! and gosh, he showed off his acting skills mannnn. I'm in LOVE with Keith!!

Keith is like this really good lawyer that does everything to help his clients. So yea, to achieve that, he often break some rules, but or course, justice is on his side. Keith is a very cool and also fun guy who is very helpful and cheerful but at the same time, he can get very emotional when he's dealing with things that he doesn't wish to see. Especially things that hurts people around him. Yea, Ruco Chan did well in portraying his sometimes cheerful-sometimes emo character. Love it laaaa....

The relationship between the characters are very interesting as well. They are all very very good friends and works together to fight for justice. I just love their chemistry la...

The cast are awesome don't you think??? Tavia Yeung is like the best actress you can find. Seriously! She can be anything, and I love her character as Mavis, a smart and professional lawyer, and also a confident and independent woman. Many guys in the show were running after her LOL Then there's also Raymond Wong as Wallace, a born-rich solicitor which have his own firm but has no experience in court. But as the events come along, he learned from his failure and starts to be a REAL lawyer and finally turned into a barrister. Louis Yuen, haiz, of course the Joker in the series larrr....

There's also love relationships, for example Alex (Kenneth Ma) and Cecilia (Natalie Tong)...

Sad case, Cecilia died TT.TT

And of course, the sort-of triangle relationship between Mavis, Keith and Wallace.
It's kind-of complicated, one man knows her best, the other saved her life. One teaches her new things in life, one treated her well.
Though Mavis didn't make a choice at the end, but I'm sure there will be a Sequel to this series.... Can't wait, can't wait!!! hehe...

This was last Saturday where my QT just ended. Wanted to hang out with my dearest "hang gai-shopping" buddy -- Audrey San. Surprisingly, we didn't shop at all LOL Though we were very VERY tempted to. Sales were EVERYWHERE!!! Guess our resistance to shopping is pretty strong :D
Well our plan was to JALAN-JALAN, and yea, LITERALLY!! So we met up at Times Square and really started walking in random directions, passed by Plaza Berjaya, we walked through LowYat, then passed by BB plaza, then somehow we reached Jalan Bukit Bintang and started going into the Malls like Lot 10, Fahrenheit and of course, Pavillion.

I don't know why, that place was sort-of terrifying to me. It felt like I would probably do something stupid like break a one million dollar porcelain vase or just simply tripped over a tourist or something LOL I just feel like I don't belong to that place. Escaped that place ASAP... and went across the road to Pavillion.

Well it's a Saturday, just as expected, quite a lot of people lorr...

then we started walking around at the 5th and 6th floor which, "People over there are more like us." Walked along the Tokyo Street, saw tonnes of yummy Japanese food and tried free Ice Cream summore...

well saw something interesting along the way....

Nasi Lemak 2.0 Movie Review + Snowflake

The BEST LOCAL MOVIE with the MOST LOCAL HUMOUR!!

Went to Pavillion KL with on Last Friday with my collegemates. QT was over!! Plus I actually passed my Grade 8 Piano. Too happy edi, really wanted to just go out and relax and laugh all I want :D And yes we picked the perfect movie to do so!

Thanks to JiaChee who booked the tix! We don't have to go through those long queue over there...

There's still some time before the movie start, so we decided to go chillax at Snowflake

I heard many people talking about it but never really tried it before, so yea it's my first time there.

Basically it's a desert bar that sells Taiwanese Deserts and Drinks

We've heard a lot about Taiwan Bubble Tea, but Taiwan Taroballs? How about a desert where you can choose toppings of sweet potato, barley, black glutinous rice, green bean, red bean?

Sounds good?? Go have a try at Snowflake

Jiachee, Brandon, Russell, Daniel, Samuel, Andrew and Irene plus Maggie who joined us later.

The place is pretty small, but it was CROWDED! No empty seats, let alone have a table that has 8 seats for us. And basically every single one of the customers ordered at least one bowl, instead or sharing with others. So I guess it's too yummy to share with others LOL

So after grabbing a seat, we went to order. And I was puzzled when the cashier gave me this brown-color-round-thick-disc LOL I didn't know what it is, so I just take, go back and put it on our table.Then when it started beeping, I didn't notice and my friend somehow thought it was his and took it away. Then my friends started telling me how it works la, basically it's just an alarm to tell u when your food is ready. So Canggih right??? This one is definitely better than calling numbers. There's no way anyone can steal your food unless u gave the disc thing away.

All I know this is equivalent to Ice Kacang Merah aka 红豆冰

Though this Ice Kacang is abit more expensive than usual.

bUT it taste good!! I'm not a big fan of red beans but somehow, the red bean taste awesome weih. It's really sweet and soft but also abit crunchy at the same time. And when you eat the beans with some Shaved Ice...My goodness it taste awesome!!

Taroball is like their specialty, so I guess it's a MUST TRY.

My View:
Laugh till I die mannnn!!!
It's funny not because it's funny, it's funny because of how LOCAL this show is LOL...
It's just so good to see a movie that really tells the story and characters and also the unique colors of our country! Well for me, the story is just okay la. Basically the spotlight of the movie is not on the story, but the characters, the chemistry between them, the local culture and also the creative elements that incorporates different elements from different races of the nation. Through the characters and the special culture they have, the movie emphasize on how to create a nation in harmony and also how to live a happy life with the people around you. And of course, Namewee showed off his unique music talents by writing songs with meaningful yet straight-to-the-point lyrics, and also gave English song and Indian song a Chinese Twist LOL!!! The Bollywood style Mandarin song was EPIC!!! This simply tells you it is possible to mix different things and create harmony!! After watching this film, you will start to think that Malaysia is really an awesome country.

Then of course, non-stop laughter!
Basically all the characters are already funny. It's Adibah Noor and Afdlin Shauki mannn, don't expect any thing but funny!! And like i said just now, the unique mix of songs just makes you laugh and feel impressed at the same time! Then there's this Kenny and Chee who act as the Baba and Nyonya. According to my dad, they were really really popular back then. And now I know why. The way they speak is just so natural and cute and you can't help but to laugh at how "harmonized" when they speak. Then it was really funny when they disguised as ghosts to scare Namewee and KarenKong. Plus the way they speak, BM + Hokkien + etc etc...It's just impressive and i really love them. Then there's also funny scenes of Namewee having stupid-funny day dreams, especially the one about Cheng Ho. Plus erm, a bit of funny P***tical insults. In short, there's no Not-Laughing moment when you watch the film.

and erm one very special thing that you can only find in this film, is the Malaysian-Style Rojak Language, Malaysia-Chainiss punya "broken english" and also the Malaysia Local CHAINISS mandarin, with all the hokkien, hakka, hainam dialect plus all the phrases like WALAO, SONG-AH, WAHBIANG, and also HAO-LIAN (SHOW-OFF) lol!! My dad always say I like to HAO-LIAN and I always asked where on earth this word came from and wondered if it really exist. I'm so glad to hear that word in the movie LOL!!

Well, the main point of the story is to realize how awesome the people of our country is. And learn to appreciate and also live in harmony.

This is a show that all Malaysians should watch!

This was two weeks ago when our raya hols/study leave just started

Hehe I'm glad that I chose this over books...coz that day was one my most memorable days I've ever had in my life!!! With my awesome-est friends... :D

So yea we went to Sunway Lagoon...

It was suppose to be a class trip, but end up only 7 of us going...

Went to Sunway Lagoon by Bus and reach there around 10.30 something

Anyways, we started playing in the Water Park 1st, well there weren't much photos for the time we're in the wet park and amusement park, coz My Camera Can't Swim...

the Water Slides (Congo Challenge and Cameroon Climb),

then most of the rides at Dry Park including the 360 degrees Pirate Ship which was terrifying first then very fun next,

then swim at the Surf Beach which is super freaking fun,

and just sit at the Wave Pool and wait for the barrel of water to splash down HARD on us LOL.

Then it was drizzling larrr, so it was kinda COLD coz we were all wet, but I really love that kind of feeling.... And we don't have to be burnt by the sun XD

Why??

1. Basically it's a really nice place to just have fun in the sun (though it was raining that day), get yourself wet and scream all you want!!

2. The place looks awesome with all those Western Style Buildings and also African Themed Water Playground.

3. Fun Atmosphere! There's all these performers that will go around to entertain you with some unique ethnic music and also some cool dance moves.

4. The staffs are very helpful and polite as well.

5. The facilities are really good too, got f&b outlets, lockers, speed-showering tunnel (at the surf beach), and plenty of chairs for you to sit down. LOL

6. All the toilets and shower room are clean and there's a lot of them so you don't really have to queue up.

Feel like going there again, the rides are really special and u can't really compare it with Genting because their rides are just so so so different. Both places are awesome.

Okay, the next place that I wanna GO is MALACCA
Yes, not to study history, but just to FEEL the History...
