This is a trail / area I’ve been meaning to explore for a while.   Actually, I have been near this trail…  I took the boys out to hike it a few years back, but about 100 yards in they declared that it was a boring trail and that they didn’t want to take it, so we went elsewhere. The day after a decently little snowfall which was followed up by two inches of rain. The water was back down within 24 hours. The creek channel has, for so many years, been deepened and redesigned for flood control that there was little damage in our area. 

Water this high in the more natural creek beds where I grew up?  The flooding
