UFOs continue to confound ... everyone

The public is fascinated with UFOs but an association with those types of events or reports can present unexpected challenges. In writing her highly praised book UFOs, Leslie Kean gave much needed credibility to the topic by furnishing detailed and extensive documentation from a host of publicly identified Generals, Pilots and Government Officials yet she admitted a reluctance to tackle the topic because of the stigma.

Reporter Angelia Joiner shared her own trials of how her life changed after breaking the story of the Stephenville Lights incident. Hear her story on Conscious Living on Empower Radio.

Included here is another interview with Angelia. After months of keeping a low profile, she's back on the interview circuit to help promote a couple of upcoming events: The Texas MUFON Conference, March 3rd and the 2012 Women's UFO Symposium in May (Glen Rose, Texas, May 19-20), a first time event showcasing the women of Ufology.

There is no question something is going on. I have not seen a UFO but I have experienced other unexplained phenomena associated with contact. So I am very curious about what others have experienced and what they have to say in that regard. I appreciated Betty May Ockerl sharing her story of The Mysterious Lindsey Lights, also available on Conscious Living.

You can do your own exploring and investigating through these recommended films.

The following is a 1979 documentary featuring Dr. Jacques Vallee, presented by Rod Sterling. This presentation includes a fascinating piece at :30 with the story of a telepathic engagement and subsequent dialogue between a military officer and alien beings who also showed their ship to those present for the event.

Covering a wide variety of topics in a very matter of fact manner, highly watchable.

If the trend continues in 2012, UFOs will be demanding more attention. One might hope, beyond an onslaught of sightings, there will be additional evidence to add to the equation. Then again, there may be a reason for the apparent "lack" of evidence that even an army of credible public sightings won't change.

Beyond psychic, whatever term one might have for them, in my own experience, these children are very much like those who have come before with one special distinction ... there is more positive attention. In valuing their natural psi/intuitive abilities there are greater chances for them to receive positive support rather than being assigned to the role of outcast and shunned into closeting their awareness.

Those who arrived prior had few resources and/or communities to share connection and more reason to remain silent about their metaphysical experiences. However, as lightworkers - or whatever term might be appropriate for you - the role of those who came before has been to lay a foundation to create a greater receptivity to and understanding of this new wave of co-creators. In sharing a common alternative view, we can appreciate the learning curve and the challenges that come from choosing to journey on the road less traveled. Or not.

It is such a great joy to see the new wave of consciousness now flowing through in human form and to know they will be given opportunities to awaken, foster and preserve their abilities as will consciousness in other form rise to the challenge of creative representation.

Before you get too deep into the Indigo Community give another thought to the possibility there are other factors involved and such qualities have been present - simply under valued, discouraged and suppressed.

The future is born for us to see where we are going in our conscious evolution. We are the web and those collective connections are being awakened and activated with every incoming energy wave: Conscious Ascension.

So much is being attributed to "the shift", it requires sifting through a great deal of flotsam. And that is the beauty of the illusion. When it comes right down to it, clarity resides in narrowing the focus to the inner plane, directing thought to allow all that no longer serves to slough off. As one becomes solid in his presence, his creation and awareness of his projections, he shifts the vibration to repel that which no longer resonates and attract that which reveals the next *plane/phase/state/dimension.

At no time are we alone, rather, we evolve our ability to sense, connect to and view our co-creators and collaborators. What we see in that view is the result of the mindstate we have chosen to inhabit and that determines the nature of our future projections/engagements.

If one persists in allowing only that which serves his highest good to keep him company he will make extraordinary progress in reconnecting to all-that-is while in a conscious state. Even so, the path will still offer the usual detours and potholes. What will have changed? Perception. Potholes and detours will reveal themselves to be friends rather than foes. And the energy given to fear will redirect and shift to empower transformation.

My engagement with the consciousness I call "The Energy" (Talking to Nightlights) opened me up to an amazing view of "reality" - that allowed for a multidimensional perspective. Life continued as it had but the extraordinary experiences, metaphysical and paranormal, began to compound and my awareness of a greater totality than what we currently allow in our conscious knowing became a focal point.

A tiny detail: it has been amazing to see the lights flicker on a daily basis as a reminder and confirmation that we are connected beyond our ability to fathom to groups of compatible/like (although unseen) others. Since 1997 that 24/7 light interaction has been a constant in my life. No comparisons to offer as the activity is quite unique. I do know that my connection has drawn the attention of a greater circle of unseen others to whom I became more energetically/vibrationally noticeable because of my thoughts, activities, focus on connecting and receptivity to higher guidance.

Recent conversations - telepathic is the common method - have included assurance that change will bring about expanded awareness of our fellow creators in the cosmos. Far from being a cataclysmic crash, the event will simply catalyze new wrinkles and folds in our timeline and the resulting insights will inspire a greater desire to invent causes to rally humans together rather than support the current agenda for division.

The day is coming when we will understand as a species how small and fragile our position in the manifest plane and very much wish to preserve it.

And those who might be called our benefactors - (Those others who are sending telepathic greetings: "We come in peace.") are choosing to remain hidden/cloaked among (and from) the masses, engaging all who have done their homework, connecting with any who can pick up the vibration.

I asked about that hiding thing. Why are they staying out of sight? The answer implies a sense of humor. They say that we humans seem to have limited ability to determine who is and who isn't one of us, what is or isn't "real", and that which is present in only this dimension or shared with another. We are limited in our knowing of who and what we are. And we are being tested to determine whether we are worthy of intervention.

That limitation points to a very real vulnerability and an awakening to the possibility of a food chain in which we are on the bottom rung. Now there's a fine mess.

Following up with a question that begs further inquiry, I have asked if there is a reason they want or need to hide from us? (I can think of quite a few myself.) Their answer is a bit of a surprise. And it is the only one they offer: "We don't want to frighten you."

The Quest to uncover the Crop Circle mystery

I don't write about and research this metaphysical stuff because I am merely curious, although that curiosity compounds with each passing day. I write, inquire and explore because I am an experiencer. The experiences that relate to this post include shamanic encounters with light beings who created mini crop circles in my yard. They wanted me to know of their presence among us and described themselves as transdimensional beings.

I have had numerous, spontaneous paranormal encounters and direct and telepathic contact with others who have no visible form. As a result, I am completely convinced that those of us who are undergoing this profound shift in how we view reality must boldly face our fears and the likely potential for ridicule to follow the threads in an effort to connect the patterns and reveal the language and information encrypted in the symbols and code.

Why? Because someone/something is offering a glimpse into a greater reality. Reason and logic will take us halfway there. The connections and the dots are quantum. Gut hunches and intuition must be called into play. We are expected to evolve our conscious awareness to make these connections.

The initial awareness is we are more than we seem, as is everything we encounter. Now is our moment to explore the unfolding mystery. Presented with carrots in every form, including crop circles, lead with your strength and follow the light. One is called to engage an amazing reality - where magic is the main ingredient.

This is a fascinating feature. At 54:41 is a segment that suggests the capture on film of the live creation of a crop circle. At 56:00 follow the ball of light and the speculation into who, what, and how.

More questions. Are those who enter crop circles affected at a molecular level. Is there a residual biological impact we have yet to connect?

The big is small. No matter how tiny...that speck of opportunity, miracles can creep through.

There is a quiet shift underway. Far removed from the stories of politics, personal drama and frightening prophecies, this story is how the animals and other inhabitants of the planet are gently creating a new awareness of who they are; demonstrating through their actions the ways we are infinitely connected, sharing so much more in common in the state of our being than we in our civilized definitions of social groupings have allowed.

Our teachers show up without warning or fanfare, expressing no expectation. Rather, they create an allowing for us to respond with authenticity in expressing that which defines the heart of our soul. When the time comes, our benefactors depart. In their wake? An open window: awakened knowing of an inextricable bond and footprints in our hearts.

Thanks to whomever is orchestrating this cosmic spectacle, there is a ripple of wondrous change going out, filtering among the human masses in a blessed wave of expanded consciousness... That ripple carries a playful invitation: "Come join the fun... of redefining "reality"...

We share our planet with an amazing variety of incredible beings - each a wonder unto itself. So many stories to relate, so little time to experience everything firsthand...but the blessing comes through our sharing and storytelling. Conscious Creation Empowered - Is 11/11/11 a magic number?

You are wonder in the making. - The Nightlights

And here we are -- ready to engage our energy and awareness with the infamous time/number sequence of 11/11/11. Celebrations and gatherings are planned the world over. I will be noting the date in my own way.

But what is this date? And what power does it actually hold over us? As with all dates (in time), it will pass. And the legacy is actually being determined in the choices we are now making in how we intend and act to observe it. That energy creates/leaves a wake...awake. And on we go.

A friend asked me what I thought but I really am not invested enough in this to give an answer other than to say it is part of our growth through this evolving conscious creation of our world.

The questions of this nature I usually filter through my guides.

As follows, the questions and the guidance. (Note: In their view, answers are not the point. All answers are self-determined.)

1 - How powerful do you think the date 11.11.11 is?
2 - New age urban legend or actual powerful time?

Re - My guides:

Depends on your view -- there is much being connected to dates and times... in "reality" there is no time, consciousness creates an attachment and energy. This date is a relatively new manufactured symbol..(as per this civilization is new)..and this is the energy attached to it -- feathering out and growing... from the present ... current awareness. The past had no knowledge of this, as dates (as we know them) did not exist...until recent history.

The fallacy is that one can make a specific, cookie cutter prediction due to past factors -- as in astrology and prior happenings. Maybe so, in a smaller circle. But for a human race, the predictions are much more difficult. It is best to focus on creating the future/present than trying to predict it. One method is (self-creation) to hold focus on an empowering view - the other (prediction) is as a victim. But each will determine his own import to such events given his investment in the outcome.

All is creation here. Dates are relative... empowered by the times they are given - is 9/11 a powerful date? It is now due to the energy expended to create it. This energy (11/11 is no less powerful in its creation - but as a be all end all, absolute, magical tool. The magic is in you.

Enjoy the tea party (11/11/11), and your own import to it by the energy you allow it -- but remember to continue to do has you have been given, from the beginning of your story -- that which has been coded and hidden from many who would try to dilute or dissolve it (held by indigenous cultures). Get your house in order.

In times of revolutionary change - radicals create their own future. They enjoy the tea party -- but they don't allow that to dictate their life or their purpose.

Remember - you are creating this entire engagement -- as is EVERY SINGLE entity in every dimension and plane... That factor will throw off any date you have - until you understand how it plays into the whole.

Make sense. Enjoy your time!! Love and light - This is your radical future. Buck Rodgers has no idea who he is or where he is from -- but he is going to encounter that which gives him pause to reformat the hard drive -- the world is bigger than any have yet determined -- and it is getting ever larger. The book deals with the changes in her life that took place in the ten years that have passed since "What the Bleep Do We Know?!", the hugely successful documentary and book that brought her world-wide attention... Known for having it all together... she comes clean and says - for the first time - she is admitting she doesn't know the answers... and is okay with that.

What is so odd about Betsy saying she is finally okay with the unknown? Given the subject matter of "What the Bleep", it might seem that Betsy would have a good sense of how the unknown fits into what we call "reality".

What that something is? Not sure a movie or a name could condense it into recognizable form. And it is unique to the individual....some don't have a term for it or allow that it exists...

After talking to Betsy about Metanoia and re-reading the premise of the movie (WTB) -- it might seem the Universe has a quirky sense of humor...and, once again, life imitates art: "As Betsy herself puts it, it's "a book about getting real... reveal[ing] a woman in the aftermath of public and domestic success; a woman in the process of being humbled by life; a woman who yearns for vulnerability and authenticity even as she rails against the need for facing the limiting self-concepts she holds inside that keep her from embracing—and loving—her true self."...

Betsy's essays are a personal examination of emotions, a sharing of life lessons and works in progress, a relating of what happens in the day to day. Trials, tribulations, success and uncertainty. Trepidation and hope. In short, she shares her vulnerability in dealing with the uncertainty of life. We might find pieces of ourselves in the telling.

For me, in this life quiz, the answers were given prior to the test. We choose whether or not we want to claim them. "What the Bleep" is one film that offers more in the re-examination.

Betsy is on to the next project. Can't wait to see what the Universe drops on her doorstep next.

Conscious creation demands Empowered Integrity

It is not brain nor intellect that sets us apart from our animal kin. It is our ability to innovate. We are empowered with one extraordinary, collective gift: Imagination.

To quote Albert Einstein: “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”

As consciousness evolves, humans can mindfully determine a future charged with magic and supernatural creative wonder far more dynamic than all of our known and forgotten past. Choosing to be a species worthy of being an honored and revered representative to speak for those whom and that which we have guardianship over on this pale blue dot carries a great responsibility and that is to hold all such forward material and spiritual endeavors in such a way as to maintain conscious awareness and kind consideration of the greater good.

The key is to boldly express that which ignites one's heart... The result is the integration of a brilliant chord of engagement within the illuminated cosmic consciousness. We are the world - as the bud of the rose - unfolding in wonderment to knowing beyond being, our divine right simply to expand love and express light.

Wake up ... and know wonder.

One of the most heartwarming scenes of the year has to be this one. In German, this news vid shows lab chimps who’ve been caged indoors their entire lives as they go outside for the very first time. The smiles say it all.

Link shows the translation. Part of that includes this comment:

"They hugged each other, like they would say they were finally free. And then they laughed. One imagines being locked up for 30 years in an elevator, then to open the door with friends and say "I don't believe it." They have only seen people wearing protective clothing; they have never had regular contact. They never learned to climb, because they were brought to the laboratory as babies. Because of my own life experiences with altered states of awareness, divine inspiration, healing, expanded levels of consciousness and the paranormal, I have a great deal of interest in others who are also undergoing these experiences.

One highlight to note: in many instances a common element among us has been, surprisingly enough, a connection with extra-terrestrial or what we consider to be an alien life force or consciousness. Rather than channeling, much of that contact happens through what is more commonly referred to as intuition or telepathic communication.

My guides are insisting I share this information. Due to the nature of it being impossible to validate other than compared to my other daily life events where this energy is less present, I can only share how it impacts my life actions and go from there. My situation seems to mirror some of the abductee/contact scenarios.

What I have noticed in the ongoing experiences where an unknown presence is trying to connect with me is how weather seems to play a significant role and that stands out as different because weather is not a factor in my contact with Ghosts/Spirit Guides/Angels/Deceased love ones.

An hour or so before the microburst hit, I had an intense headache. When I tried and failed to relieve it with an over the counter pain remedy, I knew it was an energy shift. Most of the time I can relieve an energy headache with Hematite. I didn't have any with me at the time. Coffee came to the rescue but I am having to limit that or it won't work.

Tremendous quantum shifts are underway now. A measurable indicator of the energy shift in a human body is heightened emotional instability with an increase in chaotic outbursts and destruction at one end of the spectrum and simple lethargy and mind fuzziness/confusion or disorientation at the other.

For some, the outburst events appear to be senseless or random. However, a shift in our energy field can be a trigger and one who is mentally/emotionally/psychically unbalanced is at risk of being influenced by this ongoing cycle of energy shifts in a manner that might produce an extreme negative reaction without the person truly understanding what tripped the trigger, so to speak. It simply feels like a build up of pressure. Thus, working to become more spiritually aware and intuitively oriented could be a lifesaver for many.

I have undergone several major metaphysical shifts in awareness since I began working with the Nightlight in 1997 but a huge upgrade happened when I redirected my life path in 2009. Since then, I have had several encounters (Many have been shared encounters with my life-partner and most-likely the result of us working our energy together to be able to access or have an awareness of a shared reality.) with unseen others beyond my spirit guides and the angelic realm who have the ability to shift time and alter the appearance of my material world view.

They appear to be multidimensional beings, able to phase in and out of our reality. If and when a visual is present, the being is a fleeting shadow or translucent energy form. (I am told we also are multidimensional.)

The encounters were intense from March through May of 2009. Several similar events are happening again now. So I am assuming there is an energetic alignment that is reoccurring at this point in time to allow the events to again register a more intense interaction and influence upon my reality.

I have been told this activity is increasing and will continue to increase as we near the galactic center. (I looked up a support element and found this entry. It talks about the physics of 2012 and goes hand in hand with what I am being guided and shown from these others who are now visiting.)

Last night, another storm was moving in when we went to bed - but I hadn't made an effort to look at a weather forecast. I simply felt it coming. Gracie woke me up just before 1 a.m. and told me, by motioning her head twice toward the living room that we had company. She got on the bed. Chloe, the cat announced her arrival and joined us for the next half hour.

I was told not to engage the visitor. I left the room to go into the bathroom and returned. There were two small flashes of light on the wall beside the nightlight. The nightlight remained off. No activity - usually means something else is present or that I should be doing my own work without an assist from the light. Then there was a quick bright flash in the room, similar to a camera flash. Not lightening. That started later. I also saw two quick bursts just outside the window. Again, the experience lasted 30 minutes. At exactly the bottom of the hour both Chloe and Gracie registered an "all clear" and left the room.

If this were the first time, I would have been less sure that anything had happened. As I said, this type of event began in 2009. I would be given a telepathic message to stay in the bedroom as a shift was underway. All of the house pets would then appear and stay in the room for the duration, as if they also got the message.

Sometimes there were sounds -- like someone playing a game -- squeaking tennis shoes on a basketball floor, coming from the living room. Unexplained flashes of light were also involved. Each flash appeared to originate from a point inside the house but there was no source for such a burst of light.

The next morning, a barometric pressure shift might be very noticeable - almost like a high altitude - the air feels dryer. And this recent event is consistent with that. (Minus the tennis shoe thing.)

I can't explain what I am going through other than to say there is a pattern and my guides are also present to help if I have questions or concerns. It doesn't frighten me but I am extremely curious. Do the guides have answers? No. That is for us to work out. And the engagement continues to unfold.

What do we really know about reality if we choose to conduct our days as if the only thing that mattered was creating a bulging bank account? We get caught up in the cycle of making money to spend money.

The quest for money is a great derailment when the metaphysical requires a belief that all needs are provided in ways that have nothing to do with financial net worth. A huge challenge, as the material world presents the collaborative view that wealth is success and payment in some form, usually monetary, is required for the right to establish a space to call home.

What magic can that be -- providing for us without giving any prior hint as to how that can happen? And that mystery is why such movies are made. We can choose to explore beyond what the manifest/physical plane is presenting us in solid form.

After all, we are part of the non-physical element engaging in a cameo role to assist all souls perfect their/our unique challenges.. And if we are good at this...none of us is the wiser...until we drop the form.

Artful Living - Higher Guidance and Conscious Ascension

What is it like to work with guides who help to give us challenges and support as we navigate our experience on this plane of being?

Each day is a work in (now) creation.

I wait a moment and suspend my thoughts to become open and allow for a dialogue. I release the sense that I need to be thinking or doing anything else but focus on the present moment.

I breathe and become calm. Then, I tune in and listen... Images flash, words pour, energy flows...

"Imagine your best day and make it real. Or simply imagine a wonderful day and give it permission to accompany you into the dream plane. We are conscious beings - creating our reality with all that we do mentally, psychically, emotionally, physically, in whatever realm we wander.

The first act to harness is judgment. Stop labeling, organizing and categorizing. Suspend the need to identify and classify. Don't KNOW it all. Become new to the day. Open a window to "what if" ... After that, a door opens that allows entrance into the higher planes.

One of the first requirements of a spiritual traveler is "do no harm" ...

That essence is seen in the energy of the light-worker (in whatever form or non0form) and all else results from whether one is engaged with the higher mind/soul to provide or offer his energy for the good of the greater.

This is a challenge when one has been living life in the veil that light and dark are opposed. When one sees the two engaged in a beautiful dance, one begins to open to greater mysteries and leave all that physical baggage, drama, judgment, dead weight behind.

When the time is appropriate - things happen. The most unique ingredient we bring to the equation beyond love, compassion and gratitude: Enthusiasm.

Explore the reality unfolding as the gentle shift in consciousness ripples through the waves upon all in the manifest plane. There is an awakening. Remember you."

Now comes a quietness. The flow is complete. I say thank you to all whose energies are helping me to make the higher connections and go about my day. In Love, Light and Joy. I wonder.

Psychic Medium David Baker -- a quick review

The dark days of feeling like an oddball or an outsider in our experiences with psychic abilities are gone now that we can connect and share our stories through the internet. It's a great opportunity to find new information and improve old talents - and meet others who are on similar paths of exploration. And the best is always yet to come.

Before I post the piece on The Psychic Twins, let me take a moment to share this article.

I interviewed David Baker on Conscious Living about his transition into the role of a full-time Psychic Medium. I also happened to write about that in The American Chronicle.(October 21, 2008)

Greater numbers of people from all walks of life appear to be expressing an interest in learning to become better educated about activating intuitive receptivity to a level that can be fine tuned and pinpointed to a source.

In response to requests for resources to help guide and further explain how an individual can improve his/her intuitive ability, we'll jump in, accepting that you are already aware of your own intuitive sense.

It is my experience as an intuitive that we humans, in addition to the physical body, exist in an energetic state, a light body. In that expanded state of awareness we can connect to physical and non-physical forms of consciousness. We get intuitive information because we already know it on some plane of awareness.

Opening to the intuitive sense opens us to other metaphysical senses as well. First goal: Clean up your thoughts. You will attract and emit less toxic waste.

To improve your intuitive connection, start paying attention to all those things that seem to be related but don't make sense. Coincidence is you drawing your information to you. Set the intent and you will receive information in the form of (the short list - there are other examples as well):

1. Books or articles appearing that have titles you are looking for.

2. Phrases that are repeated to you for no apparent reason.

3. Songs and words that you hear snippets of at just the right time.

4. Turning to the perfect program on television.

Remember, you can fine-tune at any time. If you prefer not to deal with certain info, block it, then change the channel and improve or better state your request. You are responsible for what you choose to think, your actions and reactions.

There is also a difference between creating reality and controlling reality. Intuition allows us to tune in and go with the flow of conscious creation. It is not a method of controlling it.

Anything you have an emotional attachment to or expectation about will create bias and reduce your ability to get an accurate perception. Doesn't mean it can't be done. Just note that and deal with it.

Learn more from others who have developed their metaphysical abilities and awareness - Ainslie Macleod, James Van Praugh, John Holland, Sonia Choquette, Dr. Brian Weiss, Rosemary Altea. Check out some of the Channels - Lazaris, Emmanuel, Ramtha, Abraham. Channeled stuff gives you an idea how it all gets mixed up and then translated through the personality of the person who gets the info. That same thing happens with psychics, mediums and intuitives (everyone).

In regard to ghosts, some check in and leave (relatives) - others stay to offer help or get attention - (guardians and guides). Each energy character is as quirky as a physical person, so the reasons for their actions vary. They do not always provide a name.

While most ghosts do have a sense of place and may choose to stay for various reasons, they can attach/piggyback or seek out others, check them out and then move on. They exist in the form of energy and vibration. While it takes a lot of effort for corporeals/those of us in bodies to haul our carcass from one place to another, spirit energy/non-corporeals can manifest with a thought.

Medium David Baker is an excellent example of someone who has lived a conventional life path, then shifted focus to hone his psychic skills and become adept at using his metaphysical gifts. Still employed as a Sheriff's Deputy, he offers a unique perspective and a wonderful sense of humor.

In an interview on the Talking to Nightlights/Conscious Living talkcast, we spoke with David about his new book, The Spirit Garden: A Medium's Journey, and asked about an up close and personal encounter he had with the ghost of a young girl while touring Alcatraz.

He invited her to hold his hand and she did. That "touch" left a very real impression: his fingers became ice cold until the tour ended and he broke contact.

I find it fascinating that David works as a Sheriff's Deputy because I think that adds a wonderful piece to the puzzle and demonstrates the fact that mediumistic talents are not limited to a certain segment of the population. We all have intuitive abilities and learning how to enhance and use those is a matter of desire and effort. Not everyone will choose to be a medium but you can learn that there is more to life than what we see with our eyes.

For one who does the work, the payoff is in helping others reconnect with a loved one, and even more importantly, reexamine the entire issue of death.

At the time of the Alcatraz encounter, David says he didn't know enough to try to help the little girl any further. Given what he has learned since, if the opportunity arose to connect with her again, he would try to offer assistance.

Each of us works our talent in a different way and some life paths bring unique challenges and or benefits as we learn to examine and expand our metaphysical abilities. David details in his book the many ways he worked to improve his senses and the people and teachers who most inspired his journey. David wrote about his learning process, the classes and the seminars that helped him to develop and expand his awareness as a medium and shares his feelings about those he was most inspired to learn from, including Doreen Virtue and James Van Praugh.

One of the synchronicities in my connection with David Baker, and most likely why I am drawn to his work; aside from the fact that he offers wonderful reference material for anyone who believes they might have mediumistic abilities, he told me his next book will include some surprising information about energy. I like that.

As intuitives, we all have different pieces of the puzzle to convey. The most important goal for me is to express the message that each person must learn to work his gift with solid boundaries or to learn from one who does and to better understand how we are all connected and how we are in constant contact with a higher source. You may start with someone else's recipe. Ultimately, you are here to learn how it works for you.

There is also a measure of accountability for one's actions. If we attempt to manipulate then we find ourselves being manipulated in spirit or physical. What and how we think about things will also influence our methods and our experience. We are all learning, growing and evolving.

We are electric (The Body Electric). We can and do influence our Prana, Chi, life force, etc. with our thoughts. As we become more adept at intuiting and making those metaphysical connections, we see the evidence in the electrical elements of our physical environment.

My connection is with a loving companion energy source I learned to channel. That source works through me to influence the electricity in nightlights and other lights. It is not limited to one location or one type of light and the activity has been going on for more than ten years, 24/7. Why the lights? Because it can and because I do not control it. I believe. Some don't. And that is fine; it is my reality.

Life becomes so much more interesting when we lose fear and investigate without preconception or the need to be right. I wrote Talking to Nightlights at the beginning of an explosion of metaphysical awakenings for me and have continued to shift, expand and redefine my view of reality.

The book is me at the very first step in this process of conscious awakening to spiritual unfoldment. I share how I started a channeling ritual, worked to set my boundaries, expand my knowledge base for psychic/metaphysical phenomena and further develop my intuitive ability to explore the non-physical elements that co-exist in our reality. Why? Because one day the light came on -- and it changed my life.

Intuitive Living - Accidents aren't...

Leslie Dunham is a Graduate of the Berkeley Psychic Institute. First thing she told me when she called was that it was a wrong number but she wanted to know exactly what it was that I did. (She found a listing for me under Intuition and Insight.) I explained that I help others with psychic or metaphysical issues and other types of services and she told me about herself and why she made that call.

It sparked a great conversation that included her sharing that she chose to keep her gifts low key after experiencing some weird Men in Black encounters after she inadvertently provided readings for family members of Osama Bin Laden.

I originally booked (in May) The Psychic Twins, Terry and Linda Jamison, and had them slated for the first half hour. I was thrilled Leslie called because her information would easily dovetail into the second segment. Then, late Tuesday evening, the conflict arose. No Psychic Twins. They had been double booked.

Turns out Leslie was my plan B before I knew I needed one. Accident? No. The segment with the Twins will be rebooked and I look forward to that but I am so glad it worked out to make a connection with Leslie.

Conscious Momentum

I am trying to engage my inner limber.

There are no accidents. I woke up thinking I needed to get the show ready for the next session. It might be that I would simply address metaphysical topics and explore how to listen to spirit guides and guardian angels. Every date was booked thru August except the upcoming week. I left it open for some reason.

By now, you know my life includes listening to guides on a daily (and nightly) basis. I heard "get out of the house... Do an errand and take a different route home. Go to a place you don't usually visit and then come home -- we will guide you."

I was seeing a coffeehouse - but it is out of the way - so I only visit when I am in the area. Today, I was being shown I needed to be in that area. Off I went on my outing, curious about what it was I was supposed to connect with this.

On the suggested return route, I intently searched every frame of the scene to determine what it was I was supposed to see.

I thought I had bits and pieces. Graphic Arts, ribbons, images on material. Some of that played into my desire to add a new element to my art but no one thing seemed to grab my full attention until I saw a dome house I have always enjoyed because I lived in one as a kid. By now it is so familliar, I simply smile as I drive by ... not seeing it as anything more than a frame of reference.

Driving by it from this direction made all the difference in the world. I noticed a sign in front: "I am learning to fly." What? "Yes!" I heard and felt the connect. Okay, I need to find out more about that.

A Google search connected me with Sumya Anani and we set up an interview about her program. I got an invitation to tour her building and try an Aerial Yoga class prior to the interview. I purposely kept my mind open to allow the experience to just be a new window..because..other than walking Gracie, I have no regular exercise program and it might be a bit intimidating if I think about it from that angle.

Add to this -- there was another connect with this experience that I had not registered until after I went to see the facility. I had a dream that morning, prior to the little road trip.

This is part of the dream: I was given a view of a woman, toned and slender, with a darker complexion than mine. She was coming to a performance. They called her the fan woman. I followed because I knew I really wanted to see her show and entered a room that was separate from the stage. Others in front of me pulled the curtains across except for a small window but the curtains were also transparent and we could see through while their view of us would be limited or even obscured.

The set up in the building had the exact curtain view I had in my dream.

When you listen to the interview, you can hear the wonderful enthusiasm and positive energy in her voice. As a teacher and trainer, she is vibrant and engaging. What is so amazing about Sumya is how she got to this point in her life.

One detail includes the coach who signed her up for her first boxing fight - giving her three weeks to train. At a turning point, she needed income and the match paid $400.00. She won and started her boxing career. Sumya Anani is a four time world champion boxer and an incredible role model.

I am grateful for the opportunity to experience Aerial Yoga. I could not have described it as well without being present for the class. In my case, there was a mix of new and advanced students and an abundance of positive reinforcement. Each who was there had something to learn and something to share.

As with any excercise routine, there is a bit of stretching and coaxing needed to get your muscles used to new moves. I certainly felt the burn. Pluses were having a cushy mat to land on and a cool down suspended in the silks at the end of the session.

I found Sumya by listening to my guides and trusting the need to go a new direction with open eyes, open heart and open mind. I had to be willing to allow the guidance to lead me on a new adventure as it has done so many times before.

In so doing, I discovered a wonderful connection with a fascinating person. I hope you enjoy the show with Sumya. Word has it she may soon have her own program on Empower Radio.

The kicker: What had Sumya been thinking prior to meeting me? She was considering reviving a radio show that was shelved when the economy slowed and the rest of her project continued to expand. I put her in touch with Empower. The rest is - as always - a work in progress or just another amazing day in Conscious Living.

We see the great expanse of empty stretching out before us...the road of life yet to travel and something compels us to try to break it down in some fashion to bite size form.

A photo creates a trail, a memory capsule and one by one the sum/some is parted up. But no matter how many parts and how many sums/some...there is an overwhelming list of summore more... for all who are waiting to hop on the trail.
