So look no futher the photos are finally up. I also uploaded one of the videos of the waitress dancing. They did this shows like four times always different always fun.

I hope you enjoy the pics and check out the places we went too. Like I said before we had lots of fun and totally looking forward to visit this or other islands via cruising.

The only thing I regret is not doing a cruise before. I have missed a lot of things. But now that I know I am not going back for a while to planes unless it is needed [LOL!] If havent taken a cruise ship you have to ASAP!. Well I am out. Enjoy.

Back to reality, Sigh!

Yes, Back to reality... sigh! But I have to admit I loved the cruise. It was so awesome that I am thinking of taking some vacation from planes and start using the boats more often. I love my family that lives in the states but hey I go there almost every year I think it is time to spend some money outside the family circle and do some traveling for my own enjoyment. Don;t get me wrong people I love you all but I need some time for me, myself and I.

Loved about the cruise well that is easy. I loved everything. There were two guys that I which I could take home with me. The guys that made my room be so awesome for the whole stay. Every time I got back to the ship my bed was perfectly made. They always had a smile they were awesomely nice. Gave them a good tip cause it was very well deserved. So I salute you Benedicto and Ronald [sad I couldn't say goodbye to Ronald cause he left for vacations before I left the ship] I am really looking forward to do this again SOON.

The food was spectacular. They even had shows between serving the dinner. They danced, sang and were really cool. When you see old people actually dancing to the song that says shorty got low low low you know that is a good thing and they are having fun. My sister got some videos of those shows I'll see if she shares with me one of them. They even had a waitress with stripper moves. Hilarious.

All the amenities were in fact great. Pools filled with beach salty water, glorious hot tubs, discos, Broadway/Las Vegas style shows they had everything. Ouh! The food was incredibly good. Great buffets, great menus at restaurants and food available 24/7 to the point that you have to learn to control yourself on the eating.

The islands we went to were gorgeous. I learned a lot from each and one of them. Little of history, culture, geography, volcanoes, beaches and so on. Lots of information and you can evaluate yourself what you have what you really need. What you have that didn't even think you had cause you just believe you deserved it and so on. A real reality check to appreciate what you have and enjoy it. Happiness isn't what you own it is what you can give back.

Anyways... here are some photos. Not all of them just a few so you get the main idea of what I did around St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua and St. Kitts. If you ever have the chance to take one of this trips Do it. It doesn't matter which company you will enjoy it anyways. Besides getting relaxed and pampered you can learn a lot of things. Skip Disney next year and take you kids with you. It will do them good.

Hello dear readers.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. The last week was very though. I had to do the work of two weeks in four days. Working from 9-10hrs daily but it will be so damn worth it. I had to do all this cause I am leaving today on a Cruise around the Caribbean islands [Southern Caribbean: San Juan, Puerto Rico ; St. Thomas, USVI ; Dominica ; Barbados ; St. Lucia, WI ; Antigua ; St Kitts, WI ; San Juan, Puerto Rico] Yeah! I can't hardly wait to get out.

I had some issues last night that I even believe I would had to go to the emergency room but thanks God it is all good now. Some heavy treatment last night helped me out. Anyways.. this is my first time on a cruise so I don't know what to expect. People say it is very awesome but I don't know. I wanna see what all the deal is.

I will be back on Sunday so this week will be another slow posting week but you have been warned. If I can get online on the cruise you will know it but I will try to avoid it. You know get some twitter, blogging, internet rehab and enjoy the outdoors. I will try to get lots of pics even when I am not a photographer I totally enjoy taking pics of the places I visit.

U2 Live on Youtube

Despite what people says and thinks U2 is one of the best bands ever. No, I am not a fan of the band or a fan of Bono. I could care less of what he does even when he does many good things. Some might say he is egocentric but he started all this artist involvement with causes and made it a trend among them.

Anyways... Last sunday the band had this amazing concert LIVE via Youtube available to every people on the planet for free. Now you can even share it and post it on your blog. The repeated the concert the whole night and day. It was transmitted directly from the Rose Bowl in California to the rest of the world. It started at 8pm California time so it was 12am of Monday in my house. I was sleepy but I watched the whole concert. It eended at 2am. I sang and loved the whole thing.

Again not a fan but I am grateful to U2 and Youtube for this initiative. I look forward [well everybody] to other artist copying this. In this days when traveling and buying concert tickets are like too expensive for some of us this is great. I could never ever attend a U2 concert. But i just did. Virtually yeah but I just did. Fire! Cataño is burning.

Since Friday morning the north of Puerto Rico have been on fire. This is because the gas refinery on the town of Cataño Caribbean Petroleum [CAPECO] explode at 12:30am. The explosions shock wave felt like a 2.8 earthquake so many buildings were damaged. It was felt in Bayamon, Carolina, San Juan, even in as far as Cidra and Santa Cruz island.

I knew about this at 4:30am of that day thanks to twitter. I woke up and saw that my stream was full of #explosionpr tags and wondered what the hell happen so the guys told me and i turned on the tv and this is what I found out.

I was shocked and surprised about the whole thing. At least no onw died on the explosion. As usual people start making their conspiracy theories and there have been alot since this started from a plane that crashed to terrorism to political uprising or goverment act to fix their image and so on. People get very creatie with things like this. Anyways the news spread out quickly and it hit the internet. Even on far away countries lke Japan and Spain informed about this. The Coast Guard closed down the bay. The prisioners from near by jails were moved to another buildings. A total chaos that morning.

I got to see the dark cloud at 6 am when the sun came out cause I live far away from the explosion but since it was so big people could see the cloud of their house roofs. This is the view from my house at 7 am in the morning that friday. Took it with my cellphone.

On the gas refinery haves/had like 40 tanks. Of those 40 the last time I heard the news 15 of them already blew up. Some were full other were empty. The contmination of the skies have been a mayor issue and problem for many people and water systems like lakes and rivers around the area. The cloud is now full of acids, quimic compounds that are a threath for the health of the citizens.

It is still burning cause they can't turn off the fire. the FBI came here to investigate al this matter and possibles theories on what happen here. Many say that Caribbean Petroleum made all this happen because of the insurrance so they can get all the money. Other say it was sabotage so we have to wait to see what the investigation says.

The only good thing about this is that no one died. If you want to know more about this you can check out here. One thing is for sure this was a lesson for all the emergency authorities on how to deal with a situation like this. Like an earthquake or fire drill. Still I am sure that they are not prepared to deal with something like this even after this. People tend to forget too soon and take things for granted.

Website Facelift

Finally got a different look for my website. I went straight to use color but tried to keep it really simple. The name is form like a thread. Did everything on Photoshop. Not that complicated.

I am really happy with the result. I draw the name then took photos of it and uploaded it to PS. Later with some brushes and a little of imagination here are the result. All the text in cursive that you will see is my handwriting. It might not be that cool but I love it cause it makes it more personal.

Update: Living Room

So Yes! I have finally made it. Now you will see the divider I talked about here. I spent the yesterday morning painting this 42 12inches wide round cardboards to match the dinning room and the living room. I attached all the circles with chains loops [the one you buy for the fan roof].

I asked my dad to help me out making the holes on the roof to place the cup hooks so I could hang the "curtain/divider". I have to say that I am pretty proud of myself. I finally did what I wanted with "my" house. It looks so cool. To paint the circles I used regular paint interior, spray can in black and gray and also some of the scrapbook paper I've been using for the small projects around the house.

Living Room

Yes! Here are the pics of my "NEW" living room. This have been like a monthly project. I have been gathering things for a few months to get it like to look like this. Buying things from time to time whenever I saw something I liked and could afford. There are some minor details will change later.

I am working with the new window treatment. That is on the way. Also a new room divider that I will do whenever I can buy the materials and make it. When that is done I will take more pictures of the whole kitchen/dinning/living room update. Also looking to get an area rug. I feel it is too empty.

The living room is painted in white, grey smoke and poolside [both are Easy Living Ultra Satin] color. I got the paint at Sears so you can find it there. The coffee table I got it at Walmart for a good price. The for the portraits I used some scrapbooking paper I bought at Target when I was in US visiting. The wall canvas were painted by me. The black/white is from 2006 and the tree branches I made them up just for that wall.

El paro.

Manhana es el gran paro nacional. Wow! Un paro nacional. Deberia estar emocionada sobre esto. Incluso creo que deberia unirme. Pues la verdad es que me importa un bledo lo del paro nacional. Porque? Porque realmente no va a solucionar nada. Como asi que poca fe tengo en la gente. Por supuesto que si.

Quiero aclarar que no estoy totalmente de acuerdo con las sansiones. Entiendo que debieron botar a las personas problematicas y a todos los que entraron a trabajar en anhos de elecciones ya que es ilegar abrir plazas cuando se esta en anho de elecciones. Pero como aqui la gente se olvida de que los favores politicos se pagan asi dandole trabajo a todo el que le dio el voto no por merito pues estamos en lo que estamos. Porque no estoy a favor del paro. Porque desde que dicen paro hay un llamado a la violencia increible. No ha llegado el dia y ya la gente estan activao y queriendo pegarle fuego a las cosas y llevarse por el medio a todo el mundo. Se quejan de la insesibilidad del gobierno pero la realidad es que no son sensibles a nada de lo que pasa en el pais.

Ahora volviendo al tema de los 30,000 despidos. Ya era hora. En las oficinas de gobierno de 10 empleados 4 tienen que hacer el trabajo de esos otros 6. Como mencione en otro post ambos de mis padres fueron empleados de gobierno asi que se de que estoy hablando porque mis padres eran de los 4 que tienen que hacer el trabajo del resto. En el gobierno le dejan pasar muchas cosas a los empleados y con el Ay Bendito tienen un monton de vagos ahi. Los empleados se creen que son vitalicios en sus plazas. Pues ahora si no planificastes te jodistes. Asi de simple.

La gente aqui se cree que Puerto Rico esta exente de todo lo que esta pasando a nivel mundial que como se creen los mas cojonudos y sobre potentes no le va a pasar nada. Ahora estan desesperao porque se han gastado todo el dinero y no tienen dinero. Les dicen desde freaking verano casi que van a votar gente y que hacen ahh eso no va a pasar. Recostaos de que eso no pueden hacerlo. Breaking News you are fired dude. Llora grita vete al paro pero sigues votao. Que vas a hacer irte a comprar cervezas y asistir al "paro" porque fue una atrocidad lo que hicieron contigo o vas a buscar trabajo.. nah buscar trabajo no me voy pal paro a protestar y janguear con el resto de los desempleados que todavia cobran y trabajan hasta el 6 de noviembre.

Otra cosa por la que no apoyo el paro es el pon que la gente coje en estas actividades. De repente los partidos que perdieron hacen campanha para las proximas elecciones. Dicen que ellos NO permitirian que eso pasara. No claro que no porque ellos cojen cierran el pais y despues cojen mas gente pa joder el poco presupuesto que queda para despues que el que venga atras resuelva. Mira dejece de tanta mierda compadre. Perdio largace pal carajo. Si se queda de alterntivas.

Otros aprovechaos son las uniones. Ahora van a demandar y pedir por el empleado. Porque no se bajan las penciones y con eso emplean dos o tres personas... NO jamas yo sude pa esta pensio... BS! mamon! Este paro no es culpa del gobierno, es culpa de la misma gente y su fucking conformidad esperando que el gobierno sea quien le resuelva every freaking issue de sus vidas.

El gobierno no esta pa darte todo esta pa ayudarte cuando ya tu no puedes. Lo que significa que no puedes depender del gobierno para vivir. Se que la gente leerla esto y dira mil mierdas pero la verdad es que llevo desde la semana pasa escuchando la sangana esta del Paro nacional y de que sera una revolucion y que el pueblo se de a respetar. Aqui no se respeta nadie. Aqui todo el mundo hace lo que le da la gana.

Aun recuerdo cuando lo de Vieques tanta mierda grito y llorique mas los arrestos por la paz para que cuando llegara el dia de la salida de la marina le pagaran fuego a la caseta del guardia y unos vehiculos que habian en el area q pertenecian a la marina... wow que fucking pasificos. que rebeldes que canto de revolucion.

Que espero de manhana? ver mucho borrachon al estilo de las fiestas de la calle san sebastian. Mucho pariseo en las lineas de piquete. Mucha sangre en los cocotes de dos o tres gritones mamones que se creen que se pueden comer a la fuerza de choque porque por el mero hecho de creer que porque la policia esta ahi es que esta amenazando. Ya hasta los ridiculos Fonalledas cerraron el centro comercial mas grande de Puerto Rico el "centro" del universo de los comemierdas y ya los del paro se cantan un logro una victoria porque por ellos otros 5,000 empleados y los negocios perdieron el dia de manhana en ganancias. You go Puerto Rico si yo me jodo que se joda el otro tambien. Eso es brillante.

Las universiades tambien se unen al paro. Aun cuando ya actualmente estan terminand el semestre academico en diciembre ahora como querian paro le dieron la semana libre pa que se chupen esa. Y pa colmo se quejan de que es una amenaza... o sea que carajos quieren... ahh y no.. no hacen paro viernes.. ni pal carajo porque despues no pueden ir a janguear con los panas. Pero eso los hace sentir que estan en medio de una fatula revolucion. Puerto Rico esta prostituyendo esa palabra usando sus necesidades vanas para crear una revolucion. Estoy loca que llegue manhana pa que vean el reguero que han formado y no van a resolver NADA.

Veran las neveritas llenas de cerveza, cantando como en verbena y llorando sin saber porque. En vez de largarse a trabajar los dias que les queda lo van a perder protestando. Y quisiera ver/saber cuantos han aplicado o enviado resumes para conseguir nuevos empleos. A y esa es otra tiene que ser en oficina con aire acondicionado porque si no sudo y ganar mucho pa hacerme las unhas y comprarme un par de zapatos cada semana o comprarle aros nuevos al carro y ponerle unos tintes bien dark y enviarlo a que lo retoquen.

Es tiempo de ahorrar no de malgastar. Ahi es que esta todo. Aqui gastan gastan pero no se ahorra na. Ajustence los pantalone y las pantaletas y vera que todo va a correr mejor. El inmigrante viene a Puerto Rico y consigue trabajo se compran terrenos, locales, casas y mil cien cosas y hechan para adelante y el puertorro como que nada que ver. Espero que el gobierno me ayude a hacer to. Ya vendran mas paros y protestas y todas acabaran en los mismo PURA MIERDA!

Nobel Prize given too soon.

News flash: Obama wins Peace Nobel Prize this year.

What does this means? Well that he won a prize for all his efforts in favor of peace. As simple as that. Still I think it is too soon. Why? It is just too soon. I do admire all his efforts and speeches don't get me wrong. He have done many things that people would never think it would be possible I mean he is black and is the President of US I think that is just amazing. Then again the fact that he brings hope and faith in all his speeches for me doesn't make it for him to win this prize.

I might not know the whole deal or requirements to be nominated etc but it is too soon. US keeps sending people to the war just to work the peace arguments still after a year you don't see any changes in favor of that so called peace.

Nobel Committee head Thorbjoern Jagland said: "It was because we would like to support what he is trying to achieve".[Obama wins 2009 Nobel Peace Prize- BBC]

Again don't get me wrong. I am happy for the guy. Still i think it is too soon to give him that title. I just hope it doesn't fire back on them. You never know. All this peace talking makes me nervous. Seen whats going on around the globe as in natural disasters and people behavior this peace talk doesn't match at all.

It's good to have all this peace talk but I don't see anything yet. Other presidents have also work with nuclear issues. Other have invaded other countries using peace as an excuse but at the end nothing was done they only made things worst with wars. Still you see that US looks for peace in other places but I think that he should start at home. After you have peace home you can go search for peace on the rest of the world.

US should get prepared cause I have a feeling that they will get hit big time and they wont see it coming. Always believed that US is too cocky and that is why they get hit that often in one way or the other. Just because you like to "help" out other countries or "defend" other countries doesn't mean you can be that laid back like you are. It took the world trace center, Katrina and the economic situation for US to see things the way they really are. Yes US haves powerful shield but deep inside it is pretty weak.

US don't get too cocky. Keep it simple and humble and get your ass prepared for whats to come. Hate me but this is just the beginning of the end.

Far Away

Its been like a weeks since my last post. I know. Im sorry. Thing is that I've been busy trying to finish my decoration project. I managed to paint the whole living room, kitchen and dinning room. Still I have two walls undone cause I didn't have enough paint. That bothered me so now I have a wall on hold...

Also trying to get this table I saw at Walmart the other day. Loved it and it is cheap. So I just found my coffee table. Looking forward to go tomorrow or something to buy it. I took out my photo frames but didn't liked the way it looks so that is on hold too.

I am still think about doing a mural on the living room. Not sure yet if I should do a tree or what should i do there. not quite sure there. What I do know is that the divider project is about to start anytime soon on the weekend. I am buying the cardboard cake bases [12 inches] for .35 cents on the store and 19 feet of chains at .49 cents and that will be a total of 22$ to do my newly economic divider. It will look awesome. That I know for sure. Can't hardly wait.

Desempleos, personas y realidades.

Ahhh... la politiqueria. Normalmente en mi blog no hablo de esto porque ya hay demasiados blogs sobre politica. Algo que es bueno y malo. Muchos solo se quejan pero nadie aporta ideas creativas y realmente funcionales para resolver la situacion.

Mientras unos acusan al gobierno actual [que si ha sido negligente en muchas cosas y como se ha lidiado con las mismas] entiendo que no es el total culpable de esta situacion. Ambos de mis padres fueron empleados de gobierno. Ellos eran de los responsables que si trabajaban. No de los que llegan y solo se levantan a tomar el break y no hacen mas nada y cuando hacen algo es mejor que se queden sentados porque no saben lo que hacen, etc.

Creo que hay que entender que estos gobernadores han hecho y desecho con los empleos. Es facil comenzar campanha diciendo que ofreceras miles de empleos pero no sobrecarges el sistema. Entiendo que debe haber un balance si vas a ingresar gente debes extraer gente. Asi no pasa lo que esta pasando. Alguien se ha pregunta cual fue la cantidad de empleos creados en estos ultimos 8 anhos. Posiblemente la misma cantidad de gente que ya despidieron. Lo triste es que NO fueron todos los que ingresaron.

En mi opinion esto de trabajar 40 anhos para el gobierno es un fracaso. Tu sabes que es tener gente ineficiente en el trabajo por 40 anhos pagandole y despues cogiendo mas empleados para que hagan el trabajo de estos. O sea estas pagando dos sueldos por el trabajo de uno. Espero que en las agencias se dejen del Ay Bendito y hagan lo propio si el empleado no trabaja votenlo. Traigan gente nueva. Asi los estudiantes que se estan graduando tendran trabajo. El desempleo bajara y las cosas se arreglaran.

Otra situacion es que estas decisiones es algo global. A nivel mundial estab botando gente en masas. Muchas empresas estan en quiebra. Muchos paises y estados estan en quiebras. Y entonces Puerto Rico es el unico pais que no esta afectado. Aja! Si, Claro!. Gente dejen de llorar tanto. Posiblemente como no es mi situacion me puedo expresar asi. Pero de verdad la gente tiene que ajustarse las cosas NO estan como antes pero nosotros creemos que si.

Si eres un empleado bueno sigue siendo asi. Si ya estas por retirarte mira retirate no te quedes mas delo necesario indirectamente eres parte del problema y culpable de los despidos te guste o no. Ahh tambien eres culpable del desempleo. En las oficina de desempleo es preciso ver como estan los trabajos pegados en los bulletin boards pero como no son con aire acondicionado y no me dan break para janguear o no me pagan lo que me da desempleo pues a nadie le interesa. Que el gobierno me siga dando.

No estoy en contra de que tengas desempleo. Yo use el desempleo por el anho en que me toco usarlo. Cuando llego el momento de anularlo se acabo. No me quede dependiendo de el ni tampoco fui a prenharme para que el gobierno me mantenga. Gente la realidad es que hay trabajo pero nadie quiere trabajar. Todos quieren tener una oficinita y estar ahi todo el dia. News Flash para ti esto NO va a cambiar asi que o se arreglan y hacen ajustes o los despidos seguiran.

Dejen de pensar en sus egos y como la gente me ve. Acepten la realidad y ajustence a lo que viene porque creanme esto no va a mejorar. Las ayudas ya mismo comenzaran a escacear por el abuso y todo ira desapareciendo poco a poco. Otro dia posteo mi plan de retiro. Creo que seria interesante. YO no se nada de esto pero a mi me suena logico no se. Hablamos despues.

My Bed. My Shrine.

It seems like I got a new bed. But no, I didn't. I just save hundreds of dollars thanks to contact paper. Not Geico... hahha.. ok not funny. Anyways I did save hundreds of dollars. I just spent less than $6 dollars on 2 rolls of contact paper with wood design.

I just covered up my old but still greatly functional bed. People like to renovated their rooms cause they are their temple their shrine. That is what I think of my room. But mine have also become a workspace, craft room and bed room. I love my bed it haves a greatly sentimental value too.

This bed was build/made by my father like 15 years ago and it still works perfectly. He did it just the way I wanted it. He even let me decide the colors, the style, the height and well everything. So why would I get rid of something custom made that still works and was "free". Besides not many people can say they still have the bed their dads made for them. Makes me feel special and loved.

I remembered he got home from work to work on our beds -yes he also made my sisters bed-. I helped him sometimes to glue the formica on the wood. help him sand the wood then do some random stuff around the area. It was kind of our family quality time. He loved working with wood and making things. Now he stopped doing all that cause his legs cant stand all that time standing up. He haves this bad circulation problem so all that is now ancient history or better yet great memories.

Anyways here is the bed before and after. I love it... don't know/care if you will like it. Sorry for the harshness but I really love my bed. It is kind of personal you see. Enjoy!

White Shoes.

So this was a new project. Kind of colorful. A friend of my wore the extreme bright orange and that helped me with this style. I had this bright colors but didn't know how to use them until now. You can see the videos of the process here and here. Hope you guys like it.

Polkadots renovated

Converse are classic sneakers. But when you have a polka dots converse that is another story. This was my problem. I bought them last year on Target. Never ever got to wear them. cause later I realize that I couldn't pull them out as a fashion item for myself. So what to do with a pair of sneaker that you have never wore. I customized them.

I wanted to keep the red/white colors but I went a little bit further. I wanted to make a pattern that somehow resembled a wallpaper or fabrics. I think it came out better than expected. So no more talking and enjoy the final result. By the way if some one gets interested on owning them they are size 7 1/2 women and go for $50 they are brand new and customized.

Jury Duty...

As a civilian there are things we have to do... like it or not. One of those things is jury duty.

Last month I got this letter from the court that I had to go to serve as jury. I was like ok but not that happy. You see that can be complicated depending on how the trial goes etc. Well after you watch so many movies about trials and all this related things you get a little bit worried or well actually more I dont know you just dont feel right. You have to give lots of information and shit to them. I mean they already know were you live... what else can they ask.

Anyways I attended my appointment at Centro Judicial de Carolina. There were people that went there they the day before and were selected so that day was their interview with the "fiscal" and the judge to see if they were able to be part of the 12 angry men. Ha! Then I just panicked.. I've to what talk to a judge and a "fiscal" ouh no that was just a No.. no.. for me. Still I cant leave if I did I would have a $500 fee and a "desacato order" and I want to keep my record clean.

So we got to the room and it was full. Like 100 people there some like I said before went there the day before so it was the new ones and the others. After a while they divided the groups and sent the new ones to another court room it was 204 I think. Anyways what made this experience cool was the people they had there. Most of them were old, retired people. Others worked but asked for the day off to attend the meeting. The old people were complaining so much they all wanted a meal. Yes they offer you a meal at 3pm cause you might be there longer so they don't want anyone fainting or something. Meh!

Then all of the sudden we have been kidnapped. The marshal closed the door with key and then the olders started saying they were claustrophobic, that what if the building burned down that if something happen who they would get out... seriously they were something else. They gave us some papers to fill in for the possible interview with "fiscal" and judge. I dont know what our trial was going to be. I think no one asked. Thing is we kept talking and listening to the people there. Total strangers having a blast talking about politic, their jobs, their studies, sons, daughters, etc.

Without knowing it was already 2:40pm and suddenly one of the assistants comes inside the court room and tells us that we are free to go. Umm what? yeah you can leave cause they guy on the trial "acusado" asked for a "juicio por derecho". Umm what is that? I still don't know. One of the old ladies asked for the "merienda" and the assistants said we could wait for it. But guess what after all they bother the assistant with the "merienda" NONE of them stayed he lady asking for the "merienda "said "Me voy pa casa a hacer un sancocho". That lady had us cracking up. People kind of forgot they were in a court room. Then all waited for our release sheet and left. Hoping that we didn't had to go there again.

Would I go again? Umm yes you can count on it. It was actually quite fun. Some of the people there have been thru this jury duty before and it seemed fun. Well at least way different. You can learn so many things about people when they put lots of strangers in one room. Characters come out, ideas come out... and the imagination they have for sure rolls and fills the room you just have to convince a little portion of the room and you are done. Looking forward that in +5 years they call me again to serve on jury duty again.

This is it. Nop not talking about Mr. MJ. I am talking about my room. It is finally done. I am so freaking happy about it. About time I changed everything and went bold with the details of the room.

I now have my working station and my sleeping station the way they should be. No more using laptop on the bed. No more sewing on the bed. I now have a desk to do all that. Finally!

Yeah! Another update on the Room View but this time is only on the desk that I got the other day. It came out pretty well way better than expected.

I painted the desk all black but the paint came out... don't know why. Anyways I had a plan B in case the paint didn't work. I use a damask print gift wrap that I had -the same I used for the door-. That work perfectly. I also used some scrap paper to coordinate it wit the gift wrap on some parts of the desk. I also use black contact paper for the keyboard part and for the CPU unit area. Since I have a laptop I am using that part for storage.

It took a while but then again it was all worth it. Here are some pictures of the before and after. Hope you like it. Ouh! In case you are wondering... I got the giftwrap at Kmart here on PR, the scrapbook paper [polka dots] I got it at Michaels in Florida. To stick everything together I used 3M Super 77 Multipurpose Adhesive which is totally awesome.

Paw Print Pattern?

Note to self: Do not leave the paint tray un-attended NEVER EVER... when you have pets. Little Miss Muffin... Sondag my kitty just made me remember this last night.

I painted the wall then let the paint to dry on the tray that way when it gets all dried i can remove it easily and dont wast a water taking it off. I left the tray on the bed I'm sleeping in and totally forgot that Sondag was walking around the house. Then when I was getting ready to sleep I pick up the tray from the bed and saw her paw print inside the tray I look further and I see this blue trail all over the fitted on the bed.

I got a little angry but I can't blame her it was totally my fault to leave the tray there so this mistake was on my fault not hers. She also walked around another matress I have on that room it haves all her pawprints all over. Gotta Love her. I bet she still haves her paw all painted she didn't let me remove the paint. I guess she just wanted to help me out.

Update: Room View

So as I posted before I am re painting and remodeling my room. I already got the desk. Yesterday I got the paint so I you will now see how far I am into the project. I still have to finish painting the walls, cover the desk and decorate the walls. I am doing all this after I get home from work. I am tired but so happy that the colors came out well and that the desk was cheap [only $60] yeah!.

Well here are some pics off this past few days on the project. I couldnt work on the weekend cause it rained a lot. But I manage to do some stuff while on hold.

Go! Guavate, go!

Today is labor day and I didn't went to work. Yey! Instead I went with my family to Guavate to eat some lechon. Guavate is in the municipality of Cayey. Guavate is lechon city for us. If you want to have some good lechon with great seasoning and local food you HAVE to go to this place once in your life. You see there is a street full of restaurants/take outs devoted only to sell lechon and typical food like arroz con gandules, pasteles, viandas, cuajito and such. You can always find other good eats there just ask away to the people that serve you wants on the menu.

Here are some photos of the places we went around. Great food. Great prices lots of family fun. You can also visit the stores around were you can get/buy souvenirs, pina coladas and even food to prepare later on your home. Well enjoy the pics.

Room View

Got out of work today an hour sooner so I got home and started painting my room. I am doing changes whenever I have time so this have been going for quite some time. Started with the door. Then the closet and now it is time for the walls.

I just finished painting one of the three doors I have to paint. Tomorrow I will get up finish the second one then go and pick up my new desk. Then buy the other color that I am missing which is a robbin blue. I just can't wait to finish the whole room. Really excited to end all this and feel like I am in a new room. Its been quite some time since I do a mayor decoration thing on it so really looking forward to this new look.

I took pictures of the room as it is now and will do the whole 360 photo thing again when it is all done and finally ready. So give me some time. Click on image for better view.

3 of 10 Clipboard serie

This is the no. 3 of 10 series of clipboards I am doing. This one haves a huge koi fish on it with some waves surrounding it. I didn't have in mind to paint it on the original concept but I asked away and people seems to like it with color. Anyways I have pics of the before and after so it is all good. No worries on this matter.

Clipboards are back on the game.

That is right. Since last time the clipboards game went much better than expected with Take Note and the other threes I did this time I will make 10 new clipboards. All different and unique. This is a cool project for me cause I don't know I always believe clipboards had some cool use besides holding papers. You see all that empty space and you just want to wright or doodle over them. Right? It happens to me all the time I don't about you but it does happen to me.

So with no further fuzz speeches and useless words I present you the first two clipboards of the clipboards back in the game series. Note that it doesn't have anything to do with games. I just like the name. And no there is no theme either. Just random ideas drawn on clipboards people thats about it. 5to Giratorio de Ekspresion

La organización sin fines de lucro Giratoriodekspresion y el Giratoriogroup son dos iniciativas de autogestión que buscan crear espacios para el arte en Puerto Rico. Nos concentramos en apoyar las propuestas musicales independientes de vanguardia, los trabajos experimentales y varias disciplinas del arte. Desde el 2002 estamos realizando un festival llamado Festival de Arte y Musica Experimental mejor conocido como el Giratorio.

Este año tendremos la 5ta edición del festival, el sabado 17 de octubre en la Sala de las Artes de la Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. Esta edición del festival se caracterizará por presentar a un gran numero de propuestas musicales de vanguardia y grupos de rock independiente. Por este medio estamos buscando auspicios para costiar gastos basicos de produccion del evento como sonido, luces y dieta para los participantes. Tambien podemos realizar algun tipo de intercambio publiscitario.

A continuación encontrarán una lista de las propuestas, grupos, colectivos y bandas que dirán presente en esta edición del festival.
