In October the colours are amazing in this part of the world and with the sun lower on the horizon the lighting is always great on sunny days.

various scenic pics

2011-05-31T10:16:00.000-03:00

These are some of my favourite types of images to make. To be out in your own space with still nature or to be that lone person in a rushing urban scape capturing the scene as it goes by and changes.

Band & Entertainment Photography

Having fun and getting in the groove of it all, while being creative with coloured flash filters is the key to having a fun and interesting live band shoot. Capturing lots of ambient lighting effects is important to emphasis the vibe of the music. May 2011.

The Following bands in this series are: Lillac Affair, Mad Mary, Les Barrattes Bleues , and Cumbersome

Quebec City and Chicoutimi Quebec Canada April 2011

2011-04-27T18:04:00.000-03:00

Over the past week I had the opportunity to do a little bit of travel for different atmosphere.
Being in new surroundings gives creative refreshment and to use techniques to explore and get the most from a new environment.

All photos were shot between April 22 and 25 in Old Quebec City and Chicoutimi, Quebec Canada.

A Nikon d60 was used with 50mm lens for the most part as well as 18-24 mm for wide angle and a 70-200mm zoom for a few images.

This is one of my favourite places to visit due to the old world charm and cultural influences.
