Time for a change

2012-10-08T01:31:00.002-07:00

Friday I got a package from both Oasap and Lenscircle.com

The lenses sponsored were Geo Super Nudy Violet and the package from Oasap were the 2 leggings & stockings I ordered a week or so back. I'M IN LOVE WITH EVERYTHING I RECEIVED AS;FLKAS;HFLAKJH;
It was literally like Christmas when I opened everything I got. I'm still in the process of doing reviews on both, however, I will show some pictures of the stuff I will be reviewing very soon more in detail and of course I'll update with better quality pictures when I post the reviews~!
But for now, I'll just give you delightful people a bit of a preview of the products I'll be reviewing.

Leggings from Oasap (The stockings I have yet to try on)

& Lenses I got from Lenscircle;

If you haven't already noticed, guess who dyed her hair back to the style that I was more well known for! Yes, that's right~~~!!! The hairstyle is once again back. I still need to fix it here and there but for the most part I finally got up my nerve to test my hairstyling skills once again and go for it.

I got the hair dye awhile back along with these adorable earmuffs I couldn't resist not buying.

Stay tuned for the reviews and updates which I still have yet to go through and update my followers with.
I've gotten sick since my last review so I've been trying to recover as fast as possible and while doing so totally forgot about updating everyone on everything else that has been going on like my modeling, weight, issues and all that daily stuff I've been slacking on updating you guys with. I did update the overall look and theme of my blog though although I still need to work on it...
I'll try to update very soon! (Hopefully by Monday or Tuesday)

Have a great Thanksgiving to you fellow Canadians and those who celebrate it! Sadly, Americans don't have Thanksgiving until later on next month. Tomorrow I'm going to get my cooking mama apron on and cook a huge Turkey dinner in celebration for everything I'm thankful for, and you followers are things I also consider myself very thankful for!

Until next time, take care everyone!♥

GEO Princess Mimi WMM-305 in Sesame Gray (Sponsored by GeoColouredLenses.com)♥

2012-10-01T20:30:00.002-07:00

Hello everyone! It's been awhile hasn't it?
Apologies for the lack of updates. I've been busy on and off however, I'll try to give you guys a more in-depth update soon seeing as there's plenty of updates I have and things that have happened recently. But for now, I have a review on a pair of circle lenses I was recently sponsored by the lovely GeoColorLenses.com ♥

Lenses: Geo Princess Mimi in Sesame Gray

Specifications:
Power Range: 0.00~-8.00
Diameter: 15.0mm
Base Curve Radius: 8.60mm
Water Content: 38~42%
1 year disposable

Now I would like to mention before I go more into the review that these lenses were so kindly sponsored, however, I'm going to give you guys an honest review of the experience I've had with them and these opinions are entirely my own.

GeoColorLenses has free shipping internationally worldwide and offers a wide range of GEO circle lenses and in addition, most of their selection of circle lenses are available with or without corrective power. Regardless if you're a regular circle lens wearer or new to circle lenses you should be aware not to be careless with which circle lens websites you obtain your lenses from and always make sure that the lenses you receive are genuine. GEO is a reliable Korean circle lens brand and the only USA FDA approved circle lens brand. All of the lenses GeoColorLenses carries are 100% genuine. Their costumer service is really great, they're always welcome to give prompt replies to E-mails about inquiries or general questions.

They were so kind to of given me a tracking number and although the shipping usually takes from 7-21 working days they arrived sooner than expected in just over a week the package was at my door!

The packaging was nicely done and they gave me a cute circle lens case to store them in.

Enlargement: 10/10
The ideal enlargement for general daily circle lens usage. These lenses are really versatile seeing as they give the perfect enlargement and design that's not too little nor too much. It doesn't give off that creepy effect when wearing little to no makeup and the black ridged rim around them are the perfect style and size that really gives that natural-esque dolly look.

Color/Design: 10/10
Being a fan of Tsubasa, I've heard about these lenses quite a lot and prior to choosing these lenses I've actually read up a lot on reviews of this series/brand thus adoring the design before I had even received them. I really could not tell everyone enough how much I absolutely love the design of these lenses. Very unique yet natural however they really make your eyes pop regardless of the makeup you use in addition to wearing these.

Comfort: 9/10
These lenses are really comfortable just after inserting however after about 4 hours of having them in I have noticed that they tend to feel a bit dry quickly so I've been needing to carry around eye drops while wearing these. Other than that, these lenses are comfortable to wear out to whatever the occasion. There is slight vision discomfort but it's nothing compared to other lenses I've had comfort issues such as with the Geo Xtra Hearts series.

Overall: 10/10
I definitely recommend these lenses to everyone. These are great for both daily use and special occasions. They;ll probably be slightly less visible and a tad bit darker on darker eyes however I think regardless of your eye color these will look great seeing as they blend in so well unlike some circle lenses. With that said, these are by far my favorite lenses yet and definitely surpasses the EOS Candy series that was my favorite!

Natural eye color / Bare face

One lens in size comparison / Bare face

Both lenses in / Bare face

Both lenses in addition to makeup on

Like these lenses? You can purchase them and have them yourself here!

Special thanks again to GeoColouredLenses for allowing me to have these gorgeous lenses that I absolutely adore and hope that other fellow circle lens-wearers add to their collection as well♥

VIVI-Clothes.com

2012-09-28T04:08:00.000-07:00

Hello everyone! I'd like to inform you about an online shop I recently came across that really sparked my interest. As most people already know, I really adore the Gyaru sense of fashion so when I was browsing through this particular website I automatically thought this would be a great site to share with everyone who keeps track of my blogs/posts.

The shop itself is Netherlands based (They do however ship worldwide!) called VIVI Clothes. As some people are very familiar with the name VIVI, it's the style of clothing that they aim for and carry. A wide selection of styles such as Gyaru, Gothic/Rokku, Harajuku, Cosplay, Kimonos, Lolita, School uniforms, and plenty more. They carry and sell a wide range of things from clothing to accessories, shoes, beauty products, circle lenses and carry even some of the more well known Japanese brands you see on popular Gyaru magazines such as EMODA, Candy Stripper, Liz Lisa, MA*RS, Tralala, and many more.

VIVI Clothes sells high quality clothing from Japan, Korea and Hong Kong. Other providers sell counterfeit products from all over Asia however the clothing VIVI Clothes provides at a reasonable price not to mention, tax free, is completely legitimate.

Here are just a few of my favorites from their shop that I have on my 'Must Obtain' list~~~

Hello Kitty Limited Edition Harajuku Fashion Bag

Cute AMO AYUMI Wings Bag

Gothic lolita/maid outfit (Perfect for Halloween!!)

Cute Maid costume

Candy Stripper Hoodie/Dress

Candy Stripper Polka-dot Dress

Trendy Candy Stripper Leopard Gloves Hat Scarf Set

Candy Stripper Punk Style Stockings With Skull Print

Liz Lisa Lace Flowerprint Shirt

Liz Lisa 2012 Floral Print Jumpsuit With Bow

2012 LIZ LISA Cute HI-LOW Dress

Liz Lisa Cute Dress In Floral Print

Exclusive Liz Lisa Floral Print Dress

Trendy Ankle Boots

I definitely suggest checking them out!
I'll hopefully have a chance at reviewing them in the near future so stay tuned!♥
Until then you can check out and keep up to date by following their Shop, Facebook page, Twitter & Fashiolista.

Sometimes I kind of feel like I’m missing my Raison D’etre. To be honest, I don’t know where I’m going in life. I have no clue where I’ll end up. I’m just going with the flow of things like I always have been with pretty much everything, very aloof. I get this strange feeling of envy over people with these dreams, expectations of the future and knowledge on what they want to be and where they want to be later in life while I’m just… strange?

My only dream is to be happy. Being happy with who I am, what I’m doing, who I’m with, where I am, what I have. I just think happiness in what you do and who you’re with is what makes life really special but at the same time… I just really envy people who dream about the future while I feel more like I’m just sailing aimlessly on a boat on the sea of life letting everything just happen and seeing where it will lead me.

I’m usually quite content with what I have but sometimes I get that sense like I’m lacking something yet I can’t quite put my finger on what it is.

Geo Xtra WT-A0 Hearts in grey circle lens review.

2012-05-12T05:10:00.001-07:00

A few weeks ago I went ahead and ordered a new pair of circle lenses from the lovely http://www.kiwiberry1-collection.com/ while they were having their 50% off promotion. Now for starters, I've just got to say what an amazing circle lens resource this shop is. Shortly before I ordered mine they had a 30% off promotion and just after that they had the 50% off promotion when I bought mine and then shortly after they had ANOTHER promotion of 40% off for 48 hours only. They have one of the best customer services and not only that, the packaging and shipping has been great. I ordered these lenses on the 28th of April and they arrived on the 7th of May! I recommend them highly for those looking for circle lenses so check them out! Also, if you buy 5 lenses you get the 6th pair of free circle lenses of your choice. I consider them a very trust-worthy site.

Now, on to the lenses!

Enlargement: 8/10
I loved how much they enlarged my eyes but personally I don't think I suit them that well unless I wear a dramatic/dark makeup style. They make your eyes pop incredibly with makeup but without makeup because of how enlarging they are they can look quite creepy.

Color/Design: 10/10
I saw a review of these lenses quite some time ago and fell in love with the design. After trying them on I realized they didn't blend in as well as I had thought they would but the design and color I really enjoy nonetheless. On my eyes they seem to appear more blue-ish rather than grey although it's mainly because they're worn on light blue eyes making them more vibrant.

Comfort: 3/10
Compared to my EOS lenses these ones were much more uncomfortable. They didn't burn or sting but they get dry very quickly. My other lenses I could wear for about 5-6 hours without feeling any discomfort or dry-ness but these ones felt really dry just after 2 hours. You can definitely feel like you have them in your eyes throughout the time you wear them so I believe some people might feel that these lenses are irritable to wear for long periods of time.

Overall: 6/10
I'll definitely enjoy using these lenses for dramatic looks and possibly a Rokku Gyaru inspired look. But, I really wish these lenses were a bit more comfortable so I could stand wearing them longer without feeling discomfort. I also really wish they looked less creepy without a lot of makeup.

I do in fact recommend these lenses but only to those who are more into the dramatic makeup styles and don't mind some discomfort with wearing them. With that said, make sure if you do buy these lenses to buy yourself some eye drops just in case you have the same issue with them as I do!

Coming up soon: Circle lens review!

2012-05-07T19:43:00.001-07:00

Hello again, how was everyones weekend? I got a package today in the mail and to my surprise it was my circle lenses! They came so incredibly fast. I placed my order on the 28th of April and they arrived today on the 7th of May. I'm contemplating over if I should do the review of them right away (probably tomorrow) or wait until my other packages come.

I ordered a lot of things including some Diamond lashes since they were on sale. I'm kind of considering buying more lenses since there's a 40% sale again but then again... I don't want to buy too many at once so I think I'll wait until I get a job. I checked my bank and apparently I did get a last paycheck since I worked 2 days after my first paycheck. So, I'm still broke. Just not as broke as I thought I was. I will be soon though because I desperately need new clothes so I'm thinking about going to the Stitches warehouse again to get some Summer clothes, hahaha.

I shall be updating very soon~
Also, a big thank you to the new followers I've gained over the past week!! I can't believe I've reached 100 followers on Blogspot, I hope I don't disappoint~
Perhaps in the near future I'll do a giveaway when I get to a certain amount of followers!

Take care everyone!

Claire's eyeshadow compact review.

2012-05-03T15:54:00.000-07:00

I bought this palette a little over 3 months ago and have used it a few times. Although as I have mentioned before, I'm not a huge fan of shimmer eyeshadows but decided to buy this anyway because I wanted to see if Claire's makeup would be any good.

Swatches:

I didn't have high expectations for Claire's makeup but it was honestly surprising how good quality this palette is and how pigmented the colors are. Some colors could definitely be a bit more pigmented but overall I definitely don't regret buying this and I would totally recommend people to look into this palette especially because it's very affordable for those who don't want to sacrifice a lot of money for the quality of high end brands..

Today's gets.

2012-05-02T23:52:00.001-07:00

While looking around places I ended up stumbling across the Stiches Warehouse that I've been dying to check out so I decided to go in and look around. I'm in love with everything. Everything is SO dirt cheap for good name brand name stuff. I really wish they had more of a selection of clothes but I didn't have time to check out everything seeing as I walked in 40 minutes before closing. I did manage to buy a few things, I didn't want to spend much money because I wanted to come back another time and take a closer look at everything. So I got a pair of shorts and boots that I fell in love with. I added up both and I was thinking it would be about $30 but you know how much I got these for? $14!! SCORE. I was shocked when the retail lady said how much it came to. The boots were $20 and shorts were $8 (Cheaper than regular retail price since it's a warehouse obviously) but I was unaware that they take another %50 off!

I also got a notice from UPS to pick up a package at the store, and it was my Mary Kay package! It was SO heavy and huge of a box. I'm super excited to start on the road to being an independent beauty consultant for Mary Kay along with a few awesome people in a team. Although it's not much, being able to make a bit of side money and working towards getting better at this kind of thing is perfect. I think this will be great for me to get out of my little shy-ness bubble towards meeting new people.
Isn't the bag gorgeous though? I'm in love with it!!

That's it for now, tomorrow I'll be doing a review on a Claire's eyeshadow palette so I'll keep you updated!

L.A. Color in Tea Time review.

2012-05-01T18:13:00.000-07:00

Every time I go into Urban Behaviour I always see these little eyeshadow palettes from L.A. Colors and I've been quite curious on trying them to see if they were any good. I bought this a few months back but just recently got around to trying and reviewing this palette.

For starters, the eyeshadows aren't well pigmented at all. You can wet your application brush a bit and then apply it so it'll be a bit darker although both applying it dry and a bit wet both give me disappointing results. I really loved the colors in this palette but I really wish they were less shimmery and more pigmented / matte.

Swatches:

With flash.

Without flash.

Would I purchase this product or other products under the same brand? Definitely not. The only pro to this palette is that it was relatively low in price. It's good if you want that natural shade to your eyes but to be honest, even if you want to go for the natural look I still believe this eyeshadow is far too little pigmented.

My weekend, Gyaru Secrets and my thoughts.

2012-04-30T15:09:00.004-07:00

First off I'd like to mention I did see the secret about me and I really don't mind. I lurk Gyaru secrets pretty much every week although to be honest I was a bit surprised having someone tell me about something being posted about me there considering I don't even classify or consider myself as Gyaru yet somehow I got posted. When it comes down to it my smile is really awkward, LOL. There's no denying it because I feel awkward when I don't smile in pictures but when I do smile in pictures it just looks really faked and odd.

But in all honesty, I don't mind things like this at all. Regardless if it takes needing to be anonymous to be brutally honest towards someone I think sometimes it's important to take and consider criticism and honesty as much as it is to get encouraged and complimented because without criticism how can you grow or get better at anything?

Not really directed at Gyaru Secrets but the topic of any kind of criticism in general.

As for my awesome weekend~

I went over on Saturday around 10pm to sleep over at Ashleys. We were planning on going to church early in the morning on Sunday but we both slept in from staying up too late! haha So we just went on the plans with her birthday for that day. We did go do tanning! haha It was so odd. When we were walking to the tanning salon @ Goodlife Fitness we had at least 5 or 6 honks from guys in cars. It was hilarious though, LOL. The tanning salon was cool though. I really should tan more often because I'm far too pale now so I think I might go ahead and get a membership. I'd just need to put the money I have on me in my bank because unfortunately they don't take cash. :< I'm thinking about getting a gym membership there too but that can wait until I get a decent paying job.

I'm thoroughly considering moving out. I need to work on getting a new job but I honestly think it would be good for me instead of being in a sense trapped in this negative environment I'm in now. When I'm stuck in this loop of negativity it really puts a strain on me. Living here itself is like a trigger for me because the moment I enter again it's like a new round of struggling has begun. I never realized until just recently how much I've been suffering over the past year. Now that I'm honestly really happy with everything in my life to a point that I feel so incredibly blessed to have had this opportunity of meeting these amazing people I realized how much my life was lacking before.

Now, I'm just really going with the flow of things. It's a refreshing feeling compared to how suffocated I've felt over the past year not only to have been going through so much but being completely alone for so long and having no one really to go to. It left me in such a pit of depression that I started holding out my hand to the wrong people who didn't have the best intentions for me nor care about me or my well-being. But when you're in such a pit of depression and have no one to turn to it's like you really want to cling to someone, anyone regardless if they're good or bad you just crave that feeling of not being alone. Unfortunately those who I found a brief bit of comfort being around took advantage and used me for ill-mannered intentions. I knew very well what was going on and what would happen so it's my own fault for allowing such things to happen. I've always been very aware of the kind of person someone is and what intentions they have just by the words and actions they use. But at the time even though I knew and realized it, I let it happen. I let it happen because there was a strange sense of comfort I had in temporarily being used.
But I'm just really glad. Now I have genuine, honest and sincere people around me. People who I honestly couldn't describe with words on how blessed I feel to have met. And so, I feel less inclined to keep those bad influences around. I'm really honestly happy.

Anyway, back on the topic!! After we got back from the tanning salon we came back to eat met up with a few other friend and headed over to the Irish pub. We didn't last long until we left but oh my god!! Instead we went to go to a pub that had pool tables and it was so much fun. I'm surprised I didn't even get ID'd seeing as I don't have proper photo ID, LOL. Shame getting drunk didn't make me play better! instead it screwed up the aim of a pro. HAHAHA Joking, I really sucked at pool. I haven't played it in so long though, ugguuuu, IT WAS SO FUN.

And then after we left we went over to Mc Donalds to eat and hang around until 3am and went back to Ashley's home and watched a movie.

This weekend could not have been better.

I'll probably update this post later with pictures! I didn't take many but I know Jrose did so I'll add them in when I can! I hope everyone had a great weekend like I did!

Tons of updates! (Picture heavy)

2012-04-28T19:22:00.000-07:00

Lately I've been extremely busy considering the fact that having a job was occupying all my time. To be honest so many things have happened that I don't even know where to begin with all the updates I have. Although first thing is first, weight!

Isn’t it amazing?
A few months ago I was 150lbs and at a size 12-13 in pants. 41lbs gone and I’m down 7-8 pant sizes since the first day of this year. My stomach and thighs are still pretty bad though, but hey, I couldn’t get those white pants past my thighs a few months ago. Still need to work on it more but regardless, progress is progress!

Soon I’ll have my Summer body~ But for now I really need to tone up. So I'm going to concern myself less with cutting calories and work out more. I think taking up swimming or going to the gym would be a good idea. I was thinking about buying a bike with my first paycheck but I didn't bother. :<

Although I still don't see myself as finished since I still have a lot of work to do here are some before/after pictures.

And now, on to the hair updates!

I've dyed my hair and had a few different hairstyles since I had last blogged. For starters, I cut my hair short! Yes, a lot shorter than the hairstyle I had. And then I dyed my hair completely platinum blonde and dyed the tips cotton candy pink. I had that hairstyle for a few weeks until I just decided to get rid of the bit of pink in my hair. So now it's completely blonde, and so short. I kind of regret cutting it but hey, at least hair grows back, right?! :> Now for the pictures, I'll go in order from when I cut my hair to the current hairstyle I have now!

Makeup updates!

Recently I've bought some new circle lenses and false eyelashes so be sure to expect some reviews, tutorials and looks created with in addition to them. Although I really don't have anything new concerning the style of my makeup I do have some pictures of eye makeup I've done lately!

Anime North / Cosplay possibilities.

Most people know that I'll be at Anime North this year! I'm in a bit of a confusion over how to dress and if I should cosplay. I was going to go as Re-I from Ergo Proxy and I even did test pictures with the hair/makeup and improvising on clothing.

But, I think perhaps I'll just go all out on the Gyaru style all 3 days of Anime North going for a different sub genre of Gyaru each day such as like Rokku Gyaru one day, Hime Gyaru another day, ect. I think it sounds like a fun idea but I really don't know which Gyaru styles I'd be able to pull off besides Rokku Gyaru.

Lately I've been so preoccupied with life that it's incredible. I love being busy or having stuff to do or people to hang out, and I must say, lately I've made so many friends. Really good friends at that and I really cannot say how blessed I am to have met them.

Random pictures out and about/at parties/with friends over the past few weeks;

Recent gets;

I got this whole outfit at Pacific Mall for under $40!

$25 at Hot Topic as a birthday present to myself! FOREVER ALONE.
I got a lot more stuff although I'll show you all when it all comes in the mail!

As for the job topic, yes I had a job and yes I got let go of.

Basically I got fired because I got sick. On Friday I went in 30 minutes early to see if I could get the day off because I wasn't feeling well AT ALL and had no sleep. I called the manager from the store and of course, she never called me back. So I stayed at work until 8pm (8 hour shift) until my condition worsened and I could barely walk home. I was extremely disoriented and weak that day yet pushed myself to work even though there was twice I almost completely passed out and needed to take a break. Did I mention how busy it was that day? Before I got off work I left a message saying I won't be able to make it in the next day. Then on Monday I still wasn't feeling well and my voice was completely gone. I had a HUGE fight with my mother about personal stuff and forced myself to walk up to work at 1am sick and crying to hand in a note asking for Tuesday off. I even went in the day of my shift on Tuesday early to see if I could just work because I was feeling a bit better and they told me it was fine and how they found someone to cover my shift. I went in the next day on Wednesday and they basically said I was fired without warning I got fired just like that. A few people think its because the manager was dating my uncle and they broke up so people think she was looking for an excuse to fire me and that was it. I don't know though, but it was odd that my shifts were getting smaller and smaller. Like 3 hours 3 days a week, what the fuck kind of working shifts is that? I wouldn't even consider it part-time. And the manager was purposely avoiding me and my calls up until yesterday which I wrote about here; http://kirakirapanda.tumblr.com/post/21919292717/i-really-didnt-want-to-push-this-issue-any-further-and
So now, the job hunt begins yet again. Although I will mention, I signed up last week to become a beauty consultant for Mary Kay so from now on in my free time I'll be going around informing and selling beauty products. :>

Anyway! I'll keep you all updated. This week I put together a post layout/schedule on what to post certain days of the week. I'm probably going to post an update post part 2 either on Sunday or Monday seeing as I'll be busy over the weekend. Anyway! I hope everyone has a good weekend! Take care!

Almost lost 30 pounds now.

2012-02-03T10:23:00.002-08:00

I still really need to tone my body... especially my stomach. But so far so good. I'm still pudgy here and there but hey, losing almost 30 pounds in a month is not easy, LOL. Right now I've been a bit stuck the past few days on 122lbs but I'm sure I'll eventually get over it. As for the mini picture spam I've been meaning to do for awhile!

I've lost almost 20 pounds!

2012-01-09T03:56:00.001-08:00

I started dieting at pretty much 150lbs and now any day I'll reach 130lbs. My main goal was to get down to 120-125lbs before my birthday and it seems I might really make it! I have been noticing quite a bit of changes with my body such as my face getting smaller and my cheek bones slowly getting more defined. I've lost quite a bit everywhere, from chest, boobs, arms, thighs (I'm starting to get a thigh gap), and my stomach.
Even my collar bones and hip bones are getting more and more defined.

I still have some stomach fat to lose but I guess I'll just start doing push-ups. I haven't been 130lbs in so long. The past few years I've been stuck at 140lbs and as some may know I used to be really overweight. Especially when I was in school I was about 180lbs.
Anyone want to see the unflattering pictures?! hahahaha

It really doesn't look at all like me now does it? It's crazy how much I've changed over 5 years.

Anyway! when I get to my UGW I'll take a comparison to my body before and after dieting and definitely post the pictures here.

Till next time!

Happy New Year everyone! (Picture spam post)

2012-01-02T16:36:00.002-08:00

How did everyone spend their New Years?
This year I had no one to really hang out with so I decided to hop on Tinychat with a few of my friends and we had a blast, LOL. Not the typical way to spend New Years but it was really fun.

New Years makeup;

Pictures from the Tinychat party we had!

We're not weird, I swear. LOL

And of course the self pictures~

I hope everyone had a great New Years and I wish the best of luck for everyone in 2012. I hope 2012 will be lots of fun. Has everyone made their New Years resolutions? I haven't! I'm still making my list but the main thing I want to work towards is getting this extra weight off.
I've been dieting for the past 2 months although lately I haven't really been paying much attention to it. Somehow I've managed to lose some weight though but I really want to get down to 120lbs by my birthday (February 12th) so Since January 1st I've been kicking my ass in gear to get rid of it.
This is my body now;

On a side note, I've also come to gain quite an inspiration from Akira. She's a model for KERA & SEX POT ReVeNGe and also the vocalist of DISACODE. Her style and fashion I really envy and find myself missing my edgy look.

Perhaps instead of aiming to become more of a typical Gyaru I'll go for the Rokku Gyaru style instead. I think out of all the sub-categories of Gyaru, Rokku would suit me quite well.

Well, that's all for now!♥

Packages I've received from both online shopping and Gin!

2012-01-02T15:53:00.001-08:00

For people who don't know, me and Gin have been close best friends for about 5 years. He lives in America while I'm in Canada (Life, y u no fair?!) Anyway!! He decided to go out of his way and send me a few packages FULL with goodies, oh my god was there so much stuff. The first package was the biggest package I have ever received in the mail, LOL.

ISN'T HE SO NICE?~ ASLDKJASLKDJA;L Words literally aren't even enough to say how thankful I am, oh my goddd. If that wasn't a lot already there was a second package from him too that came the next day!

I love absolutely everything he sent me!! These packages also came the same days I got the stuff I ordered online. I swear... when I get shit in the mail it's like christmas but this was like lasfkhflkasfj;asljf;asljflak CHRISTMASx1,000!!
I got 4 new wigs, and cute Lady Gaga-ish hair bows~

I also bought a long black wig although I must've forgotten to take a picture of it, oh well! I'll post better pictures of the wigs later and do a review on them along with where I bought them. :)

On a side note I put the keychain that Gin gave me on my cellphone and replaced my Korilakkuma figure that I had on it. hehe~

Boxing day shopping!

2011-12-27T17:53:00.001-08:00

Everyone knows boxing day is always the best time of the year to gather up all the good deals on everything from clothes, makeup or electronics. I didn't have too much money to spend over boxing day but I did spend a bit and got some great deals. For the makeup I'll write a more in depth review on everything I bought when I get a chance.

Alright! Time for the list of things I purchased.

I walked by Claire's and noticed they had so much makeup they were selling. I'm not a big fan of Claire's and honestly I had no clue what kind of quality I'd be getting from this palette but I was intrigued to try it out. Some of the eyeshadows are really well pigmented but others are very light and sheer. I'll definitely be testing this makeup palette out more and do some swatches. Overall, I don't regret buying it but I personally thought it was a tad bit overpriced... although there is a larger amount of each eyeshadow compared to other makeup palettes I've seen elsewhere.

Another thing I bought in Clarie's was these adorable leopard earmuffs♥

Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse in Porcelain Ivory and Covergirl Clean in Buff Beige. I always use and have these with me when I put makeup on. I really adore how well they both even out and match my skin tone.

Quo Bronzing powder brush. I've really been wanting to try out Quo brushes and I must say that this did not disappoint. I use this brush a lot like a stippling brush for foundation and any kind of powder. I'll definitely be picking up more Quo brushes later on.

NY Fashion (Impression perfume of SJP NYC)
I couldn't tell you enough how much I love the scent of this perfume♥

Bella all over eyeshadow brush.
I've actually never heard of this brand of makeup brushes. It was just a random buy considering it was only about $3 and I've really been meaning to get an eyeshadow brush. But I must say that the quality of this brush was much, much, much more than I has expected.

(With flash)

(Without flash)
NYC Eyeliner Duet in 880 Mockingbird.

NYC 316 Blossom

Wet n Wild Mega slicks lip gloss in 563B

And of course my most happiest purchase of the day, my lace dress I got from Sirens.

(Upper detail of the front)

(Front of the dress)

(Back of the dress. Although it's difficult to tell, the back of the dress has that kind of cut out style on the upper back)

(The detail or the upper back of the dress where the neck button ups)

I really, really, really adore this dress so, so, so much!!!♥ As soon as I walked in the store my mind was already set on getting it. It was a bit of a splurge considering it was more expensive than anything else I bought ($27) but I regret nothing! I think every woman needs a classy little black dress for any occasion. I really can't wait to wear it out. I'll get better pictures of the dress a bit later because just these pictures really don't do the dress justice! hahaha.

I've been a very happy camper this week. And has anyone noticed the slight change in picture quality? Pictures and videos from now on will be taken with my Canon EOS Rebel T3i and the camera that my best friend bought me which I believe is a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W570 although I'm still waiting on his package to come, hehe~

I'll definitely be blogging much more from now own, and again I'm soooo sorry for the lack of posting the past few months!

Finally got my very own DSLR.

2011-12-24T12:48:00.000-08:00

Say hello to my baby★

As I previously said, I've been on a bit of a hiatus. I'm back now so I'll be updating much more with better quality pictures and videos of course. There's a LOT of updates so I'll be sure to do a more in detail post and start blogging again very soon! I'm sorry to everyone who've been following me and just started following me that I haven't been updating much. But thank you so, so, so much for following me.

Merry Christmas everyone!!★
Stay safe and take care of yourselves~~~

I'm thinking about getting my nails done.

2011-09-22T22:14:00.001-07:00

Something simple and not too overdone that they won't get in the way of my daily life.
I think a design like this would be so cute and they're the perfect length,

I noticed there was a nail salon right across the street from where I live. I'm so tempted to go in and see how much it is and what kinds of things they do.

I got a reply back for another job although they wanted me to send another resume to them of someone I know because they only hire in pairs. It seems like a really good job though and they give you an apartment to live in with your partner. I just gave them my sisters resume and they replied back asking what would be a good day for the interview.

Ah! I've been having good luck lately with job hunting compared to last time I went job hunting. I really should print out my resume and hand it out instead though. I can't stand applying for jobs online because I get the feeling the chance of getting the job is lower. OTL

I'm going to regret eating so much in the morning.

2011-09-21T22:50:00.001-07:00

I've been doing so good with cutting back food lately. Today was one of those start good-end bad days. For lunch I made teriyaki chicken stir fry with veggies, red peppers and brown rice, SO GOOD. Then around the end of the day someone ordered pizza and just...
Oh well, I'll just work out more tomorrow to make up for tonight... and yesterday. I almost forgot that I had a large cappuccino last night because my dad brought it home for me. OTL

Oh how I hate my dad spoiling me with food sometimes. FOREVER A FATASS. :<

On a side note I've had this song on replay allllllll day.I'm so proud of them. ;~~~;

Okay! off to bed now. I'm so tired.
Goodnight bloggers!

Insecurities & flaws.

2011-09-21T22:00:00.000-07:00

I don't think there's a person on this planet that doesn't have insecurities. No one is perfect and we all have flaws. But I think our flaws make us who we are regardless if we like it or not. It's what makes us unique as a person. Some people may not find it appealing, you might not either, but there's always going to be people who look past that flaw whatever it may be and see you for you. The flaws we see in the mirror aren't as big of a deal as what we as ourselves make it out to be.

As for me I have quite a few myself.
My nose is a bit stubby. My facial shape is awkward to me. I like my eyes but I don't like my eye lids because sometimes they look heavy to me. I can't stand my dimples. My teeth aren't straight. I wish my lips were less full. My body shape is short and awkward and I have scars everywhere.
I'm not saying "I'm perfect because I accept my flaws, blah, blah, blah" because honestly I don't. Just like everyone there's things I'll probably always dislike about myself but no matter what I do I can't change it and that's okay.

I used to care so much about the way I looked and I still do but not even close to as much as I used to. I've never been one to care about how people perceive me as but rather more worried about how I perceive my own self as. In this sense I'm my worst critic but just like everyone I put a magnifying glass over my flaws and make the a bigger deal than what they really are and I realize that.

I just think that even if you have something you're insecure about, you should accept it. Grow to love it because it's that flaw that makes you yourself and unique as a human being.

Palgantong One Touch BB Cream review.

2011-09-20T16:49:00.002-07:00

This was a bit of one of those spur of the moment buys. I wasn't really expecting much out of it simply because it was so cheap (close to $5 for the pack) and to be honest it's not that bad but I really wouldn't buy it again. I've tried a few other BB creams before and this one is definitely my least favorite.

The cream is very oily on skin and it's difficult to really blend well. I would never wear just the cream because of how shinny it makes my face. When you put on the powder it does give that matte finish but it's far too light for my skin tone and my skin is really pale even without it but with this on it my face looks like a ghost. As for the little pink puff thing, COMPLETELY USELESS. I don't even really know what's it's for but one thing it IS good for is dusting off my computer desk, hahaha.

Even though it is cheap It's not something I would spend my $5 on again. If you do buy this just keep your expectations very low and you won't be disappointed.

Guess who scored herself a job interview! (+Picture & GIF spam)

2011-09-18T21:07:00.001-07:00

It's on Tuesday around 11am for a travel agency that specializes in cruises, packaged trips & weddings. At first I didn't know what the job interview was for, when I found out I was so happy. I won't be upset if I get rejected at all, hey! at least I got to second base, yeah?! it feels good~~
Also makes me really want to look more into travel agencies and such since I'm interested in traveling.

I wish I could magically lose weight. I feel so horrible about my weight lately. Although perhaps I don't look my weight I'm really not skinny. Not fat but gosh, if I keep eating the way I've been eating about a week ago I would be in no time! :l
Started cutting back on food a week ago but I'm being impatient. Plus it's around that time... so this week I feel so bloated, I can't stand it. OTL

The past few days I've been in one of those "okay" moods. I'm fine although I got upset yesterday about something stupid. I just want to get a job and move out, seriously. I can't deal with everything here but I'll stay positive, nothing will get better if I can't stay strong and keep my head up, yeah? I shall deal with it all.

The other day I got in one of my moods and camwhored so much. So I guess to end this post I'll post about 80% of the pictures I took~ I'll probably upload more in the next post along with older pictures too because I really need to clear out my computer. If I had a laptop that was going as slow as my desktop I would have thrown it out the window I long time ago, LOL.
But okay! picture time! :>

Seducing everyone with my derpy wink. HURHURRRRRR.
I wasn't born with sex appeal therefore I cannot properly wink without looking like a dumbass, LOL.

For people who may be wondering, I'm using Dolly Wink no. 6 & no. 1 for eyelashes. I didn't use any eyeshadow just a bit of liquid eyeliner (Maybelline Line Stiletto liquid liner) on the inner creases of my eyes to make that cat eye shape. I'm also wearing EOS Candy Blue circle lenses.
I wanted to create that Tsubasa Masuwaka eye look and overall, even though it's not perfect I consider this by far my favorite makeup style I've done. It's slightly dramatic but very neutral. And it's actually very easy compared to other Gyaru styles I've tried to do, I'll most likely be wearing my makeup like this a LOT.

(The new banner, although I did a shitty job so I'll probably change it eventually)

Okay I think everyone has had enough of face for today, LOL.
I'll take pictures more often~ I haven't posted my face or taken pictures and dolled myself up in sooo long.
On a side note starting today I'm going to make a goal.
I follow so many incredible people on Blogger yet I literally NEVER comment regardless of how much I like their post because I'm so shy, I really hate feeling like I'm intimidating people to approach me because I seem so distant. So from now on I'll comment people as much as possible and be less of a silent lurker/admirer, LOL. :>
Well, that's all for now!
Take care everyone★

Quick update & long personal post.

2011-09-16T02:25:00.000-07:00

I changed my template and to be honest I don't like it. I'll probably add a banner sooner or later but this template will take getting used to. I mean it's okay~ but I liked how it looked before, LOL.
Oh well!!
Now for the personal stuff;;

Looks like I’ll need to wait till I turn 19 to go for my GED. :l Oh well, not like I have to wait that long. I should at least do the bartending classes before winter then when I turn 19 I can go for my GED and either look into colleges or go for flight attendant training. I’m pretty fixed on getting those 3 things.

I need a job and I’ll continue to search for one till I get one. I’m looking at charity work and perhaps that’s the route to go as impatient as I am I need to make my resume look like gold. ;~; uggguuu. I’m looking into temporary jobs too, although it’s not a fixed job it’s something which is better than nothing.

I need a new OHIP card because I lost mine and if I need to go to the hospital in case of an emergency I’m literally fucked. On the bright side the new ones have a photo ID so I won’t need to go through hell picking up packages from the post office since they now want ID with photo and address on it. >:l

I need my passport too~ although I probably won’t be going anywhere too soon but I’m seriously thinking about it Melissa came up with a good idea~ I just wish I could get my GED. ugh, if I can find a way to get my GED early I could look into colleges in NY. Or even if I decide just to work it’d be easier.

For now I’ll keep searching for a job and if I find any charity work or even a temporary job I’ll go for it~ and while I’m doing that there might be some things I can find at the library on the stuff I need to study up on. Now that I think about it I still need to get my resume printed out… I’ll go into my job counselor and use her computer/printer I guess~ OTL

Other than that I think that’s about it.

Now about how I’m doing, I’m okay. Not okay as in fantastically good never been better but just okay. Staying here I don’t think is a good idea and I think everyone knows that. I need to get out. It’s not a life or death type thing but it’s something I’ve been trying to deal with on my own and I don’t think I can do it anymore. Staying here isn’t healthy for me, my mood is shit, my health is shit, everything is a lose/lose situation and here I just feel so alone, I hate it.

My family has helped me a lot I’m not saying I hate them and want to leave and never talk to them it’s just… I can’t deal with it for now. And I really want to put myself together because if I stay here I feel years and years will pass and nothing will change, that scares the shit out of me. Just thinking about how I remember last year like it was yesterday and realizing nothing has really changed is depressing itself. I want change and if I stay here I’m just going to keep going downhill.

Even if I have no help it’s completely fine. But staying here and feeling alone and having no help for some reason it just gets to me to the point where I start to feel like I’m stranded on a deserted island myself. I just really hate it, not my family but the environment, the feeling, it drives me crazy.

Everything here feels too late to start over so I get that yearning for a new completely different environment, just so I can get that sense of starting anew. The thought of me wanting to go somewhere I no nothing about to other people sounds like a stupid idea but to me I’m the kind of person to adapt and grow from it.

To me, describing how I feel is something I’ve always been uncomfortable and awkward with because it’s literally like speaking a foreign language, something I don’t know how to explain with words. But I think I explained myself best as I could even though I talk too much, haha. OTL

I keep worrying people, and for that I’m sorry~
Eventually everything will be okay so I should stay positive rather than getting myself down about things like that.
Things will change, things will get better.

I've been busy lately and will be!

2011-09-13T00:23:00.000-07:00

My time has been taken over by job hunting.
I'd literally sell my soul for a job at this point.
Why are first jobs so difficult to get?!
Most jobs want you to have job experience but how can you get job experience if you can't get a job?!
It's like a never ending circle of fail. I know a few inside connections to jobs but they aren't hiring.
I could go around the long way to getting one and volunteer so it'd look good on my resume but there's NOTHING local, so in order to that I need money, and I have no money!! D:<

I've been applying non-stop to places and tomorrow I'm going to go to my friends house to get a few of my resumes printed out so I can find places and hand my application in person.
Applying online is leading me nowhere, the only reason I've been doing it that way is because my printer is dead. :l
I'll find a job by the end of September and if not I'll seriously cry.
I hate sitting around, I hate being home, and I hate the fact that nothing has changed over the past year even more.
The thought of not having a job for another month will drive me crazy.

ON A SIDE NOTE~ I'm all better!
I was sick about a week ago but it seems like I'm all okay now.
Lately I've been kinda depressed.
I don't really know why but it's just that kind of depression that suddenly creeps up on you without reason.

Anyway~ I hope everyone has been good the past week. :>
Also, if anyone wants me to check out their blog please by all means feel free to send me your blog link and I'll follow.
Lately my blog feed has been a bit empty.
I follow a lot of fashion and reviews blogs but if your blog is just a personal one I wouldn't mind reading it.

Okay! that's all for now~
