When Serena & Lily's summer preview launched a couple of weeks ago I was so excited to see all of the beautiful bistro chairs they have designed. Early last year, I searched high and low online trying to find bistro chairs after I lunched at a restaurant that had them. Have a Lovely Weekend...

Happy Saturday! I know that I say this every Saturday, but...I love the weekends!! Drinking my second cup of coffee in my pjs is so relaxing. This week my husband and I celebrated a BIG anniversary! Our 20th! It's crazy to think that so many years have passed this quickly! I feel like it was just yesterday that we were in college and soon after married! We were literally kids when we got married and I wouldn't change a thing. Marrying him was the best decision I ever made. This summer we are planning to go back to Mexico (we honeymooned in Cancun) and will stay at Capella Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas. We're excited and I've already started buying "Cabo" outfits for my trip!

Three Things...Summertime

Yeah It's Friday and there's nothing better than looking forward to a relaxing but busy weekend! With summer just eight days away, (that's right summer officially begins in just eight days!) all I can think of is having fun outdoors in a cool casual way with my family and friends. Summertime also means enjoying my husband's delicious al fresco inspired meals. He loves to cook and I hope to share some of his recipes with you soon...like his fresh homemade salsa! Yummm!

The Enchanted Home: Dream Beach House & a Giveaway

Hi, I am loving this gig of being a contributor to one of my most favorite blogs. Visiting here is kind of like going to a "happy place" where its all about seaside living, pretty frocks, fresh tasty food and good times! So when Desiree asked me to write about my dream beach house.....I was all over it like butter on lobster, like marshmallows on smores, guacamole on chips, well you get it........ two seconds flat!!

For a long time now I have dreamt of having my own beach house, we have rented them, been houseguests in them and toyed with buying one but it never happened....... YET! I LOVE the beach house lifestyle and am an avid beach lover and goer, always have been. Anyone who knows me well knows nothing makes me happier than sitting on a beach (undisturbed) book in hand, a few drinks at the ready....ahhhh I am more relaxed just thinking of it! So it was a thrill to put together my virtual beach house, and I am so happy to have the chance to invite you "over" for a little visit........

So ready to see it?

First off if you come to my beach house for a visit, expect to do a whole lot of this....

And this....

And not much else........

And it's really causal here, bare feet welcome. I tend to lounge in clothes like these pretty much morning, noon and night.....

Forgot your sandals? No worries, I always have a bucket filled with these....

And a freshly laundered stack of these.....

So...ready to see my beach house? It's the one over there, peeking out of the dunes!

Step inside........

Let me show you around but first kick off those shoes and have a drink!

First the foyer......

Then the kitchen/breakfast area....

And the living room......beyond those windows lies a panoramic view of the great Atlantic!

You know I have to have a little blue and white around.....

Dining room....tonight we are picking up lobsters and I can't decide if we are going to have them in the dining room or outside overlooking the water...

Let me show you the guest rooms.....first the kids bunk bed room

For afternoon coffee breaks, I like to go out to the side deck and sit on the swing and just take it all in .......

And of course late day walks right at sunset are de rigueur around here.......

Then when we come back, we will make smores and eat them on the back deck.....

Is there anything better than being sunkissed, taking a hot shower, slipping into your cool cotton cozy pj's, opening up the window to the roar of the ocean then meeting me on the deck for a late night drink and catching up? See you there at 8! Fun, fun fun.....we all know life is better at the beach!

Thanks Desiree for allowing me to fulfill my beach house dreams (at least virtually), next best thing to actually getting one! And to everyone else for stopping in and visiting me...hope you had fun!

Chocolate Chunk Blondies

Hi there! I'm Tiffany of Savor Home. I'm thrilled to be here as Chic Coastal Living's food contributor for the next few months! I love good food and taking pictures of it, so I am honored to be here to share that with you. I initially thought I would start off with a cocktail or an appetizer, similar to something what one would start off with at a restaurant. But I changed my mind and thought I would break the rules and start off with a dessert. A delicious chocolate dessert to be exact. I hope that is ok with you!

I purchased Ina Garten's latest cookbook, Foolproof, last year and I have to say that it is one of my favorite cookbooks. The recipes are super easy to make and my tastebuds have been satisfied with everything I have made so far, so the book certainly lives up to its name. I must say that her Chocolate Chunk Blondies are my FAVORITE so far. They taste like a really, really, really good moist chocolate chip cookie that is in the form of a brownie. They are easy to make and travel well, so they would be the perfect dessert for a summer picnic or barbecue.

My favorite food blog to visit is Love and Lemons and this year to celebrate Cinco de Mayo they had a mango fiesta and partnered with Whole Foods to bring this delicious inspiration to their readers. I'm looking forward to trying the mango spritzer and mango salsa & black bean tacos! Yummm!

Dream Kitchen...

When I dream of the perfect white kitchen, it looks exactly like this one. My dear friend Mel, whom I've only met through blogging and Instagram, is the most amazing, incredible interior designer I have ever seen. Every room she designs will literally knock your socks off! I told her that if I ever make it big (LOL) I'm going to fly her to Miami to re-create this magnificent gem of a kitchen...

The table was custom-made to seat six people and I would love to see what chairs are added to this space. I even love the little basket in the corner holding the gorgeous green bottles of Perrier.
