I felt led to share and write this...I pray that you will see God through my writing and not mine...I pray that wherever you are in life that it be a comfort from my words and if needed that it will be words of realization for those who do not know...

Since these mass shootings recently from 3rd of August from #ElPaso and #Ohio my heart has been seriously broken. Let me explain please. I don’t live in Texas nor have I ever been there before but I hurt for people! For pain, and suffering...

Until we realize who the REAL enemy is we will keep hurting ourselves and others. They dubbed the shooting from Texas as a #hatecrime instead of us realizing that it was only the influence from one shooter, we forget that the one who roots and cheers for mass destruction and hate is the father of all lies! Satan! Yes I said his name, and Yes He Is REAL! But that’s what He wants us to think that he is just a figment of our imagination so we focus that the one to blame is the one who did the hainis crime...no I am not saying like you hear “The Devil Made Me Do It” policy but we are all responsible for our own actions! Can we be influenced by others? Of course we can! But just because your friends jumped off the Empire State Building does that mean you will too? Hopefully and I pray you will not. It’s known as demonic forces, yes they are real and so is spiritual warfare!

Just think about this comparison if you will:

Hates crime

Hates fighting

Hates shootings

Hates chaos

Hates division

Hates inequality

Loves crime

Loves pain

Loves fighting

Loves shootings

See God created us all and sent a Savior and only Savior to die for our sins! So Jesus could care of all that pain, suffering, feeling unequal, feeling chaotic,etc so we don’t have to.

But Satan strives on us being in pain, suffering from pain of others which can lead to hate and even #hatecrimes - he wants us to feel like we are unequal that God doesn’t love us and that He didn’t send His Son, Jesus to this earth to save all of us. That only certain people can go to heaven. Which is not true at all! God and Jesus wants us ALL to go and live with them in Paradise! No matter what #race #ethnicity #color #background #citizenship We Are!! ALL Are Accepted! But it’s up to us to make that decision if we want that!

Even in an article I read from #MichaelYoussef I believe was telling us something on The Real Reason Satan is Raging Against Christians Right Now...from www.charismanews.com/ 6/15/2016. He even talks about in his recent book (which I have yet to read), End Times and the Secret of the Mahdi: Unlocking the Mystery of Revelation and the Antichrist. Charisma News

Please I prey that this article/post/blog/ whatever you want to call it will find you where you are! And in time being if you are like me we are asking “How can I help?” With the shootings when I live so far away!? I want to tell you there is something you can do - PRAY! We all need to pray for the victims, the ones who lost loved ones, and yes even the shooter himself! So he will turn from his ways and realize how #hate and #crime should never be a thing. And that we ALL can love one another!

JUST BREATHE!!!

So I wanted to do something different for this post. Instead of a blog post I wanted to do a recording or video of me about my blog post that I think it would be very beneficial!

Especially for the day with all the hustle and bustle trying to get; you know the smell of the markers and the crayons you know it!

First day of school, the weekend before, as a mom I know exactly how you feel!! You got to rush to get the last minute things for your child before they go to school for orientation and make sure they meet the teacher, you got to make sure they have the right clothes, make sure that they know what will that do, know where to go!! I know you just want to say, “Aaaaaahhh with me. Go ahead let it all out! I won’t even tell your family. :)” As a parent got to make sure that things are taken care of at home before they do go to school that way you're not going crazy and you're rushing here and there!!

I get it, I completely get it, but have you ever thought and just stopped?! YES!! I just said stop and think and pay attention to the surroundings and people around you? I know that's an impossible task to ask especially on a day like this, but I believe that God is telling us especially ME today that it's OK!!!

You don't have to be in a rush, things will get done!! It will still be there, they're still be people driving on the road, still be people going in and out of the stores!! The world will not stop turning is what I mean!

So why rush to get it done when we can just sit and observe all the beautiful and amazing things around us that God gave to us?! And maybe, just maybe not have to deal with a bad accident that I
have or the rush in the harshness of the day because why get overworked?? Why get upset when I get anxious over something that we have no control over!!?? That is still going to be there no matter what we do!! Whether we're there we decide to be late for our first day of school or running late for orientation. The teachers are still going to be there the principal will still be there!!

True, you need to be on your ball and in gear because that is exactly what we want to show towards for others. So I'm getting after all my words but I think you get what I mean. :)

It’s just like that song by Johnny Diaz what I say is one of my songs that it's called “Just Breathe.” We are so much on the go, always running to the next thing always making sure that we don't miss out and I cling we as in me!!

Because I am like that so much but maybe we should just sit back, stop, and relax and just look around you?! Maybe once in the checkout, ask the cashier, “Hey how was your day today or look for somebody that needs help or somebody that's trying to get into another lane on the road instead of rushing and thinking about ourselves.

I think it will be a lot better for us to focus on those things and not just always be in a rush to make sure that we don't miss out on the next best thing because really what are we going to miss out on if it's something that God doesn't want you to experience for him anyways?!

Thanks for taking a chance to read my blog post! I may still do a podcast on it not sure. I don't know but I am going to also post a blog in regards to this I'm not sure what the title is going to be but just look for it I hope this reaches someone and I hope it you know comes out exactly the way God wants it to this is not me this is going talking and giving me what he wants me to share and that's what I feel like you want to Me to share however I had a great weekend and be safe on the roads and God bless Sonia Rosen Torrance

Yes you are correct! There will be a Walk going on October 20th at 800, to support the victims of Sex and Human Trafficking in what’s known as the modern day slavery. Why do it here? Wait I thought it only happens overseas? Well if you have been paying any close attention to the news (daily) it is huge problem not just in overseas like Iraq, Afghanistan, Thailand, etc. Sadly it is even happening right here! Maybe even a block down your road and I feel we need to get a hold of this and do what we can to stop it from happening!

My dear friend and sister in Christ, Sara Laster, an advocate of A21 and talented photographer from Buddinghope photography is heading up this amazing opportunity to support Human Trafficking and really make a difference!!

Do you cry? Do you cry at the drop of a hat like myself? Don’t we sometimes think crying or more or less tears usually signify something is wrong? But you and I should know why God allows us to cry. That sounds kind of harsh right?! Why would our Heavenly Father want any or let alone any of his children to cry or be in pain? But I want to take it back a little and focus more on reasons why we cry.
The picture above was drawn yesterday (by the help and guidance by our Lord and Savior), if you notice the tears have colors in them...black...red ...blue...purple...and yellow...
Now please know this is not me talking but the Lord, our Heavenly Savior, in showing me what these colors mean and the reason of the drawing in the first place.

Let’s start with Black...black signifies pain tears related to a tragedy, a loss, or physical pain we are going through.
Red tears signify the blood from when we have become hurt whether physical or mentally, whether inside or out.
Blue I really had to look into what it meant, or what it means for this particular post and picture. The only word I could come up with is, c o n f u s i o n....the blue tears are those are easily misunderstood or wrongly accused due to their disability, or illness if you will. I see this more so as people like my dad, he was paranoia schizophrenic but if you speak to anyone who truly knew my dad, like my family, he was easily misunderstood, and others who saw him and did not know the true Stanley McWhorter, may have saw him as a threat or a troublemaker. But he could also earn the merit of being the most sweetest and kindest man around! My sister even wrote a poem about him that is so right on target! I will share it below, with my sister's approval :)

Sorry to get off track on the other colors and what they mean, but I feel to this day, there are many that cry with blue tears that are easily misunderstood just as my dad was when he was still on earth. And that maybe if we realize that as a society we can reach out and grab hold of them and support them before another tragedy may occur.

The purple tears I feel in my soul are for the ones who can be easily misunderstood as well, but based on their appearances, the ones who society can say they have their own agenda and gender. And that many get hurt from mean and unkind words just because they may be a little different or a different way of life. I am reminded and try to strive to what it says in the Bible about, least you be judged so we are not to be judgmental towards another person based on their status, gender, age, etc. Sorry I got a little political with you there, but I feel God knows what he is talking about and that we as God's children have a position to uphold and be the Christian example as He wants to show us.

The last color, yellow, is happiness, or in other terms, "happy tears" as one might say. I feel that it is perfectly fine to cry just because, to get out the emotions, feelings, etc you are going through at that moment in a way of releasing oneself. Meaning, "Baby girl it's ok to cry just because you are happy, or just because!"

I hope this post speaks to you anyway form or fashion, I really struggled with writing it, but felt God's hand lead me through my fingers and words as I continue to finish up typing this tonight. May you all that read this and ones soon to read will be blessed the rest of the weekend in all you do!! And next time you cry, maybe remember the words that really hit home to you in this blog.

HE Wants Our Out-Appearance Ladies!

***The Lord does not look at the outward appearance but the H E A R T of a person. What the person has to offer inside them not their good looks or swagger. Think about it. You are in a contest let’s say a beauty contest and you have three contestants to choose from. A dashingly Beauty in Red with golden locks like Princess Aurora. A elegantly fashionable beauty queen in a royal blue gown with brunette locks like Princess Belle. Then your last contestant you have what I call a natural beauty with Red hair, freckles, no makeup, a simple ensemble for a picnic day with simple but nice flats to boot. So which would you think the judges would choose?! The first two you are probably thinking. Well what if the judge or one of them was our Lord and Savior?!
Based on the verses in 1 Samuel 16:1-11, the story about anointing of David. David had not one but 9 brothers so that’s just a little more competition than a couple wouldn’t you say?!

Well I also saw this like the Cinderella story, instead of two step sisters, David had 9! So what was these brothers to David?! Well David was only a shepherd boy, not such a glamorous job you would think right?! But if you look in verses: 7-11, The Lord specifically asked no, requested for David to come to Him and anointed him right away! Just like Cinderella when the Prince went searching for the woman who was with him at the night of the ball in order to place the right slipper on the right maiden..Cinderella..who just like David had a non-glamorous job cleaning the house as a maid while her step sisters enjoyed the luxuries of her father’s palace with her step mother in charge. But the Prince just like our Heavenly Father chose David to be anointed out of all his rich and handsome siblings. And He chooses the same for us as His children. He wants to know our hopes, dreams, fears, etc the R E A L us!!! Because that is exactly where the h e a r t comes from!!***

~Inside These Castle Walls~

What do you think when you see a castle? From afar, the pristine palace aligned with sparkles from diamonds and bridled tassels coiled around the tapestry, leading into a majestic ballroom decorated for an upcoming event for royalty. Or do you see the crevices of the palace where the true image of the tapestry lies? Where the hard work of the personnel who poured their sweat, blood, and tears into a masterpiece fit for a queen or king? Where the cement, dirt, and marble was placed in between the crevices to make up the walls and interior of the castle?

Most of us would say and confirm that the first description is what we see when we refer to a castle. But the castle would not be well-known if it wasn’t for its staff and workers, am I right in that aspect? We, I feel as Christians, do that sometimes. We don’t think about the little pieces of the puzzle, we focus on the big picture and the next step in our process. Why don’t we sit back and just think about the little things before the little things become the big thing in our lives?

Don't we realize that something so unorganized and out of place can become so majestic and beautiful just like God created us to be?

The Architecture and Structure of Medieval Castles

When you think about a castle, do you think about each part that makes up the castle? Or do you think of it as a whole? Again, we as Christians, I feel, see the big castle, and disregards the little particles that make up the big picture, the tower, the walls, the drawbridge, the moat, etc. What would happen if we started to focus on things unseen or little pieces of our life puzzle and leave the big and elaborate things to the one who can handle them and was meant to carry our burdens. The one and only, our Heavenly Father, then He will make sure the palace and all the castle walls are fit for a king, a True King, Jesus Christ, his son and our Father.

I am sure you have all heard of this song and maybe just the words..."that you aren't good enough", "you are fat", "you are ugly", the list goes on and on...but do you know that when we listen to that voice we are allowing the enemy to get a foothold on our life and how we see ourselves...we are all beautiful and God's princesses!

And to go another step further, did you know you are also His Warrior as well?

How can we, God's children, be Warriors? I will tell you, not because I am Ms. Know-it-All but because it says so in His word.

Why have I decided to write a blog on this song you might ask? Well this song not only speaks to people but it even spoke to me, because I have too been told these very exact words...some even worse....so I know what it means to be bullied. My story might come as a shock to some but I feel led to share it in hopes that if others deal with the same things as I did.

For about two years I was wearing a mask, a mask that people did not see the true person behind it. This is not an easy thing to talk about so bare with me please. I pretended to be someone that deep down inside I am not. I let others influence and tell me that I am no good, that I will never change, that I will always stay this way. You name it, I heard it and more than really, saw it for my own eyes. Rumors were spreading over the net about me, but I am not condoning my behavior whatsoever. But what I am telling you is that YOU do not have to through it alone! God supplied me with very close friends that I found out were also believers as myself, and encouraged me, and supported me. I will not go in detail about the past two years but I will say that I hurt many people that cared for me, and I was being selfish with and from my own needs to be met instead of looking to God to meet them. This was not planned, but to the ones I have hurt and caused pain, and anguish. Please I ask for your forgiveness, and I also forgive them for anything they may have said about me. Because as God has told us, if we don't forgive our brother, he can not forgive us.

So now you know the reason for this blog. And a little bit about me, I ask for your prayers that I continue to follow God's will and leave the distractions out the door.

Next blog will be longer I promise, but I call this one a personal one for me.

Have you ever wondered about how many things can make a woman beautiful? Whether inside or out? Well if you are a woman like myself then you can relate to the pain or struggle it can be to get all dolled up every day for no particular reason, am I right? Then why do we do it? Why does it matter so much if we have the latest fashion accessory or the brand makeup to show off? Could it be because we have been programmed to like or fashion certain things that only make us wanting more? Well I don’t know but if you ask me I would say that sounds very conniving don’t you think? Why would someone want us to focus so much on these things when in the end we will only be coming back for more? Customer satisfaction possibly? Consumers are smart and know what they are doing but just because they sale a product doesn’t mean that you have to fully “buy into it”. We can do just as we were probably told or taught by your mom or maybe older sister, “Just say No!” Say “No” to remaking you over, say “No” to something that will leave you empty in the long run. So why am I writing and talking about this? I felt led to write on the subject of different aspects of beauty according to God’s plan Not man’s or even woman’s plan. Beauty is only skin deep as some would say. But I feel it even goes deeper than that. We make this ideal image of each woman dont we? You may not realize it but we do!

Instead of taking people for who they are and not labeling or judging them, that is what we do. It may be a habit or an instinct, but still we do it! And it’s like the Bible says about judging someone when we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. No not one have not sinned. Even your favorite Christian, Godly, spiritual role model that goes to church religiously and reads their Bible daily. I think we put people on a pedestal and the only one that deserves to be on it front and Center is our Father, Lord, Jesus Christ, and Savior!! Then if we let God be our only role model we would not be let down or disappointed when things didn’t go our way.
Ok with saying that I know some are thinking yes but there’s been times when I wanted something and I was going to church and doing my duties and being a good Christian but God still not allow me to have it! Trust me baby girl, I hear you! I have been there in fact I still sound like you saying the same thing. But what I try to realize is there may be a reason why He did not allow you have what you wanted. Tough to think about isn’t it? But think about it, if God gave us everything we wanted and more it would be like that movie, “Bruce Almighty” when he wanted to be God for a day or so then when he replied “Yes to All” disaster and turmoil hit didn’t it? So maybe just maybe God is wanting something even better for you to maybe even share with others about what all the things God has blessed you with.

Before I close this I feel led to add this based on a very influential lady recently she decided and made up her own mind to stand up for something based off a tragedy happening to her friend, because I know I have been guilty too. Thinking that these type people have it all made and are happier than anyone but sadly it’s the complete opposite. Adriana Lima, a top model for Victoria’s Secrets recently made a statement in her recent Instagram post, “I will no longer take my clothes off for an empty cause.” Without going into too much detail, I want to say this is so big for someone who has the media, the agencies, and the world’s pressure on her. I give her kudos and support anything and everything she is based on this statement. Because even models have flaws just like every human being that puts their pants on the same way, am I right?

Priceless ~ You Are Worthy

Have you ever heard that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and ever wondered who they were referring about when they say "the beholder?" Did you ever think it was referring to the Holy One, God's only son, Jesus?

That like in the children song, He's got the whole world in His hands, and YOU, sweet person, are who is in His hands taking care of you, holding you, holding your hand as a daddy should hold their precious jewel(s).

You could ask why I decided today to start this blog and what the whole purpose behind this blog will be...well tbh, friend, I have no clue, I have no idea. I am just letting God, our Heavenly father, be the author of this blog but the writer as me. I pray that when you read this my dear friend, that something I say "hits home somewhere in your heart...." That it speaks to your soul more for you to find the inner YOU, the inner beauty that God created and loves dearly and would not change you for the world.

See I am a living example of this...I was brought up from my childhood as always thinking that if I looked a certain way, or if I hung out with certain people that I would be accepted by more people and become popular. If there was a fad in town, well honey, I was already buying into it. Probably the first one in line (No not really but you get my drift here. :))) I wanted to be accepted by all, and if anyone (for some reason or another) did not like me, well I would try even harder to be their friends which usually in the end, ended up them trying to avoid me. Why am I telling you all this and telling you about my childhood and youth struggles? Because I strongly feel that there are others out there, even boys who think they have to look, act, and dress a certain way to gain approval. But I am here to tell you, I have been through it all...and in the end was a big mess and it made me see love in a different outlook as well...That will be the next article..but until then, I want to leave this very important point with you.

Baby girl, you are perfect in God's eyes, He has made you perfect and wants you to know that. That is why he had his only son, Jesus die for your sins and mine. I mean it! Every sin! God knows all the sins that we will endure and even the ones we have not yet come against....and guess what? He still loves us!! He has never stopped and never will. He says according to the Holy Bible, Psalm 139:14 ~ I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. And He meant every word of that! We are all made in His eyes, and so when we see junk and a big mess, we are far from junk. We are just like the saying goes: One man's trash is another man's treasure. We are the treasure not the trash as we label ourselves like this. God does not make trash and you my child, are no mistake.
