Starcraft
Starcraft ranks in at #10 on this list. An amazingly popular game, it was released in 1998 and is still being played. Starcraft is a RTS game that pits the Zerg, Protoss, and Terran against each other. Each have a unique play style utilizing their strengths and weaknesses.
SiN Episodes: Emergence
At #9 SiN Episodes is a game you might have never head of. It's a continuation of the game SiN, released in 1998. It was released on Steam, and is unique in the fact that it was the first game created by a major developer that was released without a publisher. SiN episodes is a FPS game that takes place some time in the future in a mega city. You play the roll of a cop who has been injected with an experimental "Super Soldier" drug that is looking for the cure. It plays like many other source games, so if you enjoy them, you will probably enjoy SiN, along with it's many easter eggs. The best part though? The primary villian is a lady by the name of Elexis Sinclaire.
Sins of a Solar Empire
#8 is another game you may or may not have heard of. Sins of a Solar Empire is a pretty epic RTS game set in space. Released in 2008 with an expansion in 2009 and another in 2010, Sins has become a popular game among the RTS crowd. The basis of the game is to colonize planets through one of 3 methods: Through force, as par in a RTS game, buying them(with a ton of money), or through a religious coupe. This makes things a little interesting, as you have to make sure your people actually like you. You have the ability to build massive space fleets, and the unique feature to zoom in as close as a spaceship window, and far enough out to see multiple galaxies. Though not much real use, it's a very interesting feature.
Age of Empires 2
#7 is my favorite RTS game(you may notice there are a few on this list). It pits ancient civilizations against each other in a battle to the death (or whatever else, with all the custom maps). Age of Empires had awesome fan made maps that changed the play style. One good example was Archer Blood. In this custom map, each user got a fortress and and tower. You spawned archers at a constant interval with upgrades coming depending on how many kills you got. The final goal being to destroy the enemies tower. There were also games like the reenactment of Helms Deep. Overall it was a solid base RTS, even without custom maps, giving many choices of different civilizations, each with unique bonuses.
Battlefield 3
At #6, battlefield 3 is a pretty standard FPS game. The story line is forgettable, if you even do it, but multiplayer is addicting. Like Battlefield 2 before it, there are lots of maps, and plenty of guns. As well as fighting as a grunt, you can get in a tank, LAV, hummer, jet, or helicopter. It's got a nice ranking system where the more you play with a particular gun, the more upgrades you get for it. You can play as anything from a scout sniper to a combat medic, with each roll getting unique weapons and unlocks. There's not a lot more to say, other than it's pretty.
DOOM 3
#5 is the third shooter on this list, and the third version of the classic game, DOOM. Set on mars in the future, you, as the original space marine, have to fight your way through demons to save the day. Doom is meant to be a scary game, and they went about achieving this in different ways. First of all, pretty much everywhere you go is covered in gore, so this might be a reason it's rated M. The second way is through sound. Id, the makers of Doom, use many creepy, almost not there sounds, partnered with the fact that you hear people getting killed, either over the radio you carry, or by being close to their location. Finally, they use lighting. The complex you're in has been ravaged by demons, and thus not all the lights work. There's flickering, shadows, and just plain dark spots. To combat this you have a flashlight, but in the original game, you can't use the flashlight and a gun at the same time, forcing you to either see what's coming after you, or defend against what's coming after you.
The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
#4 is a new game, released 11/11/11. It's set 200 years after Oblivion, putting the player in the province of Skyrim on the continent Tamriel. Skyrim is a large RPG game that gives you plenty of freedom with your character. Want to be a giant nord with a battle ax? A sneaky elf with daggers? A furry with a klepto problem? What about a giant furry with daggers? It's all possible in Skyrim. Skyrim has a nice, though rather short main quest, with a massive amount of side quests and land to explore. Also, like Oblivion and Morrowind before it, there are plenty of mods, with more being constantly added. The best part however is that almost nothing is bolted down, and you can steal massive amounts of stuff until your home looks like this.
The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind
#3 is another Elder Scrolls game. Again, set in Tamriel, but this time in the province of Morrowind, more specifically the island of Vvardenfell. The main story line is rather nice, with plenty to do and lots of side story lines as well. Getting into guilds is much harder than with Skyrim, and require a lot more questing, going into dungeons, etc. The game was absolutely beautiful at release in 2002, pushing computers to the limit, and can still look nice now with mods. The game world is amazingly detailed with plenty to do, and there are massive amounts of mods that add to it, from tiny houses to entire new lands. Coupled with the mods, the immersion and ability to consume time rivals that of an MMO. Which brings us to:
World of Warcraft
#2, World of Warcraft has been the MMO since 2004. Built upon the game world of Warcraft 3 and it's predecessors, WoW is a huge MMO giving users thousands, if not millions of things to do, from collecting pets to killing the opposing faction. WoW is split up into two factions at war, the Alliance and the Horde, each with it's unique races. Between the land masses of Kalimdor, the Easter Kingdoms, Northrend, and Outlands, there is plenty to explore. WoW has 3 expansions out, with a fourth on the horizon. Although it's no longer at it's peak after nearly 8 years, WoW still has 10 million active players, more than any other paid MMO. If you haven't tried it yet, you can now level up to 20 for free. It's worth downloading just to give it a shot.
Diablo 2
Number 1 on the list is another Blizzard game. Diablo II was released in 2000, with it's Lord of Destruction expansion released in 2001. Diablo is a multiplayer RPG. Not really an MMO, as you can only play with 7 other people at a time. You fight your way through 4(5 with the expansion) different unique areas over three difficulties to progress, gain gear, and reach level 99. It's easily re-playable and fun to use all the different classes. Every map is generated when you load the world, so it's very hard to get the same layout twice, keeping the gameplay fresh even though it's the same areas. I, along with countless others, have spent way too much time on Diablo II, and will probably spend countless more hours on it considering blizzard is still releasing patches for it. The dark, grungy feel of the game is amazing. With a simple interface and ease of play, it makes it an easy game to get hooked on.

Definition: Clogs are shoes with open backs and closed toes, and are often referred to as mules, with the main difference being the soles and heels.

While a mule can have any kind of heel (stiletto, kitten, etc.), the heel of a clog is a platform-type heel, and the soles are thick and sturdy. Traditionally, the soles of clogs were made from wood - though now they are made from a variety of materials.

Train travel in 1843 lead to a need for hand-held luggage. The handbag was a derivative; it was larger and could hold the many items women feel they must carry.
In the 1920s women's fashion changed to lighter clothing and varying hemlines and handbags no longer matched. Women carried beaded purses with silk or satin lining. Beaded belts, bracelets and necklaces complemented the outfit. If you couldn't afford to buy the latest in beaded fashion accessories, you made your own. The "liberated" women of the 1920s were known as flappers.
The 1940s handbags were plastic and wood with new synthetics such as rayon with a shortage of leather due to the war. Also, in the 1940s as more women entered the workforce, they turned to shoulder bags. After the war, the shoulder bag was relegated to country and travel features until its revival in the 1970s.
In the 1950s important designer houses appeared. Bags in the 1950s were literally handbags and usually held by the hand or over the arm. Many handbags had side pockets, or even grip clasps or rings for a woman to keep track of her gloves.
The 1960s brought about a more relaxed look due to the women's movement and youth culture. No longer did we have the poised look of the 1950s. Fabric shoulder bags became popular. The 70s brought buckles and zippers. In the early 80s saw a vogue for clutch handbags in many colors with matching shoes, and the bags with style were the quilted Chanel bags. The 90s brought about designer handbags in many choices, styles and materials.
Now we have a mixture of different materials and colors, some with popular accents of fur and Indian themed decorations. Large bags for their versatility and travel and the functionality of the shoulder bags. To add a bit of luxury, the designers add fox fur to the sides of handbag. Simple as well as complicated clothing can be a nice match as it goes well with any kind of clothing.
The rugged look of fringe remains popular, while the feel of leather instills a natural style.
A purse or a handbag? Today you can call it what you want. That's what makes the 21st century so great. Women today can where a skirt any length she wants. Her blouse can be low or turtleneck. A handbag doesn't have to match everything. It just has to be her choice, and there are so many to choose from

iPhone Dev-Team member, Comex, who is working on iPad 2 jailbreak has once again updated jailbreakme.com which hints towards the release of iPad 2 jailbreak soon. Some weeks ago, Comex updated jailbreakme.com which showed a PDF Exploit which was so called a teaser as said by Comex. This time, the site has been updated with some git commits dating all the way back to August 2010, suggesting that the developer was working on the Jailbreak since a year. Those who don�t know, Comex was the one who Jailbroken the iPad 2 and Apple unexpectedly closed the exploit that was never made public in iOS 4.3.1.

Updated site says big 'It's been far too long' along with git commits. The git commits are basically used to remember what change in the source code was made by whom and when exactly that change was made. Consider git commits to be a log that one can go through to see what changes have been made to a particular code. No specific date or delay has been notified by comex about the jailbreak but we expect it would be released soon.

Find missing album art with Album Art Grabber on your Android Device

Many of us use our Android device be it a phone or tablet as a portable media player. Most players on Android use the familiar template of the album art featured prominently in the center, controls on the bottom and info at the top. The problem is that many of us who have music collections with songs that aren�t form ITunes, Amazon MP3 or the like don�t have our music ID3 tags filled so all we see is a large generic icon in place of album art. Well thanks to the free Album Art Grabber app that can be a thing of the past.

How Does It Work

Album Art Grabber is a free app available in the Android market that uses scattered data contained in your mp3 file to find album art. You just do a search for it in the Android market, install and run the app. The interface is incredibly simple to figure out. There is a list of every album in your music library including album art if its available and grey icon if not. Below the list is a button that says �Get Art!� pressing this runs the automatic scan and search. The scan and search can take a few moments depending on the size of your library. After every file is scanned exact match are automatically matched up with Art. Files with out an exact match will continue to have a grey icon. Most of your music files will now have album art but in case a few don�t click the icon and select either lastfm or musicbrainz. A list with albums by the artist will then be populated and you can select the appropriate one yourself. That�s all there is to it, your music collection should now include album art.

Info: An SHSH Blob is basically what Apple uses to verify the version of iOS you are running. That�s why its is advised to save your SHSH Blobs before upgrading your firmware on your iDevice. If you don't do so, you might not be able to downgrade your idevice to a previous version

According the tweet by iPhone Dev-Team member, MuscleNerd, Apple is making harder to restore devices' firmware to previous versions with saved SHSH blobs. Here's what he tweeted:

Until now we could restore to any previous version on our idevices as long as we have saved SHSH blobs using TinyUmbrella or any other similar tool. But now it seems that Apple is making things harder and harder. iPhone Dev-Team explains this in more details on their blog:

It looks like Apple is about to aggressively combat the �replay attacks� that have until now allowed users to use iTunes to restore to previous firmware versions using saved SHSH blobs.
Those of you who have been jailbreaking for a while have probably heard us periodically warn you to �save your blobs� for each firmware using either Cydia or TinyUmbrella (or even the �copy from /tmp during restore� method for advanced users). Saving your blobs for a given firmware on your specific device allows you to restore *that* device to *that* firmware even after Apple has stopped signing it. That�s all about to change.

Starting with the iOS5 beta, the role of the �APTicket� is changing � it�s being used much like the �BBTicket� has always been used. The LLB and iBoot stages of the boot sequence are being refined to depend on the authenticity of the APTicket, which is uniquely generated at each and every restore (in other words, it doesn�t depend merely on your ECID and firmware version�it changes every time you restore, based partly on a random number). This APTicket authentication will happen at every boot, not just at restore time. Because only Apple has the crypto keys to properly sign the per-restore APTicket, replayed APTickets are useless.

This will only affect restores starting at iOS5 and onward, and Apple will be able to flip that switch off and on at will (by opening or closing the APTicket signing window for that firmware, like they do for the BBTicket). geohot�s limera1n exploit occurs before any of this new checking is done, so tethered jailbreaks will still always be possible for devices where limera1n applies. Also, restoring to pre-5.0 firmwares with saved blobs will still be possible (but you�ll soon start to need to use older iTunes versions for that). Note that iTunes ultimately is *not* the component that matters here..it�s the boot sequence on the device starting with the LLB.

Although it�s always been just �a matter of time� before Apple started doing this (they�ve always done this with the BBTicket), it�s still a significant move on Apple�s part (and it also dovetails with certain technical requirements of their upcoming OTA �delta� updates).
Note: although there may still be ways to combat this, a beta period is really not the time or place to discuss them. We�re just letting you know what Apple has already done in their exisiting beta releases � they�ve stepped up their game!

Yesterday, Apple pushed out iOS 5 beta 2 for developers. Only developers registered in the Apple developing program could get iOS 5 beta 2 on their idevices. If you are non-deveoper just like me, you might ask how do I get iOS 5 beta on my iPhone without having developer account? Follow the steps below to activate iOS 5 Beta 2 on your iPhone 4 or 3GS without having developer account. Please note that this method will only work on iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4

Press the Home button on Activation Screen.
Tap �Emergency Call�.
Dial 112 (or your local emergency call number) and press the Call button.
Now, press Home button.
Then tap �Touch to return to call�
Press Home button. You should now be seeing the Home screen.
Open �Phone� app and End Call.

Make your iPad 2 invisible with 'Invisibility' app

Here comes an amazing magical application for iPad 2. Not really, but it does amaze you and others around you. This app 'Invisibility' makes use of the iPad 2's camera and the built in gyroscope to create the illusion of invisibility, although it looks more like transparency. When the app is launched, all the user would have to do is �paint� the screen with his/her fingers, and the results would be mimicking the background of wherever your iPad is placed. When you move your iPad 2 around, the gyroscope helps keep the perspective of the background, displayed on your iPad 2 screen, consistent with the actual physical background. Skype coming to iPad soon with Video Chat Confirmed

After a leaked video revealed an upcoming Skype iPad app with video chat, an executive for the company has confirmed the software is indeed coming soon and will take advantage of the cameras on the iPad 2. Skype hasn't officially announced the release date of the app yet but the video of the app has been leaked on YouTube that shows Skype running on iPad:

TAUW had an interview with Skype VP of customer and Product Design Rick Osterloh which confirms that Skype for iPAd is under developement. Osterloh said:

The iPhone version of Skype burst out of the gate quickly, with a big launch and "a userbase that doubled in just a month's time." And he said the iPad version should "have a similar success," especially since it's basically the same in functionality: chatting, audio and video calling, and all of the other standard actions you can expect from Skype.

We'll let you know as soon as we see the app hits the App Store. Seems like its not far away.

Apple has just released iOS 5 beta 2 for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, iPad 1, iPad 2 and Apple TV 2G with several bug fixes, some enhancements and improved battery life on all iDevices. iOS 5 beta 2 is only available for developers, that means only registered developers can download iOS 5 beta 2 for all iOS device from iOS Dev Center.

A man who is 19 years old was arrested Today in London on suspicion of taking part in Web attacks against businesses and government agencies with LulzSec. After he got arrested by the U.K.'s Metropolitan Police, the hacker group LulzSec posted a tweet on it's twitter account that clearly declares that the arrested mas was not a member of their group.

Seems the glorious leader of LulzSec got arrested, it's all over now... wait... we're all still here! Which poor bastard did they take down?
